My numerous attempts at re-installing Acrobat Reader have been unsuccessful.Since several recent updates to Acrobat Reader kept failing, I uninstalled it and went to the website to download a new installation. I had performed the same process last year successfully. The installer downloaded fine and the installation proceeded to the end. However, this time there is no evidence of Acrobat Reader having been installed. I cannot find it, either under the Windows Settings for Apps nor an icon shortcut on the desktop. The Acrobat Reader installer exe file also vanished from where it was downloaded to. All my pdf files now default to Chrome. I'm running Windows 10 on my laptop with 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor. Can anyone help resolve this, please?
Hi , everytime im opening the application , its crashing , already reinstalled latest version .
I prepare taxes and have always used adobe pro to created and submit taxes using the IRS on-line service. When I open the document (s), I get repeated window warnings stating that the PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat or it may not work properly. I tried checking for updates (none available) and even deleting other versions of reader DC that i had, but I continue to get the error message. I have set to ignore but that is not solving the issue as I cannot save the tax forms I am using. What can I do to troubleshoot this? Is there other updates that are needed that are not captured by going to menu->help->check for updates??TOPICSGeneral troubleshooting , PDF forms , Windows
Hi, I’m not able to view 3D images in Acrobat (see the image, it shows just a blank page). Everything was fine 2 months ago when I was working on these images the last time, so I’m assuming that the new upgrades of Acrobat have something to do with this. I was trying to install an older version of Acrobat but CC doesn’t allow me to do that. I work on a Mac. Many thanks for your help!

I am using Adobe Acrobat (22.001.20085) and MS Outlook version (version 2203, build 15028.20160) on Windows 10. When I try to send an email attachment from within adobe by using the envelope icon I get "an error occurred while sending mail".I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Adobe Acrobat and MS Outlook.I have turned off "Enable Enhanced Security". Outlook is set as my default email client.I have three users in my office that are experiencing this problem. The first started having the issue on Thursday followed by the second on Fiday and now the third is having the problem today, Monday. I am thinking an update has broken the feature, but I do not know if it is an Outlook issue or an Adobe issue. Any ideas?

Additionally I have used the cleaner to do an uninstall and again reinstalled acrobat. Please explain the steps necessary to fix this issue. There is no reaction if I just double click on the Adobe icon. I am running Windows 11.

I am trying to open a pdf document from Dropbox Desktop. When I open using Adobe Pro DC, the documents are incomplete. I can see the tables but not the content. I tried using Preview and I was able to view them. I am using Macbook Air (Sequoia 15.3.2). I use an Acrobat Standard plan ($13 per month). Can someone please help?
Hello,Recently Adobe doesn't show my installed printers anymore. When I try to print any PDF there is only one of my printers listed and the standard "Microsoft print to PDF". All my other devices are not there. All other apps (Edge, Word, other PDF readers) list all my printers, they work without any issue. But Adobe seems to reject listing them all. I've already tried to reinstall, update and repair Adobe Reader but no success. Any help will be appreciated!

Either last week or the week before, I installed an updated Acrobat Reader. Now I do not know if it happened then or what is going on. Today I tried to download and document and save it as a PDF to my laptop. Everytime I tried it downloaded and saved as a Chrome Document. I early today, I sent an email to the company believing that they were preventing me from saving as a PDF, but as I'm looking at my files, I see every PDF document on my laptop has changed to a Chrome HTML document and I don't know why or how to fix it. I went into Chrome and reset the Acobat extension as default and it is still saving every document as a Chrome HTML Document and I can only read the PDF online. It cannot be saved to may computer as normal. Can anyone help he understand what has happened or how I can fix this, or is this something new and you can no longer save PDF documents directly to your computer and they can only be read online from the site you downloaded
I have been using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and love the Read Out Loud Function. I now have a new computer that's running Windows 10 and Acrobat Reader DC Version # 15.020.20042 that I would like to use the Read Out Loud feature with. When I load my PDF Document I select:View > Read Out Load > Activate Read Out Load, thenView > Read Out Load > Read To End of Document(Alternatively I have tried: View > Read Out Load > Read This Page Only)Normally, this will cause Adobe Acrobat DC to start reading, but I hear nothing. I have gone into my Windows Settings and initiated the Narrator and after hearing it work just fine, I have gone back to Acrobat and tried again, but it didn't read anything. I can't figure out when this isn't working as it should be easy.Do you have suggestions? Thanks for your help!
I’m experiencing an issue with Adobe Acrobat on my Mac. I’m trying to select all the text across multiple pages in a PDF by dragging the cursor downward. Normally, when I keep the mouse (or trackpad) pressed and move toward the bottom of the screen, the view scrolls smoothly to the next pages. However, right now the scrolling is extremely slow — almost like it’s frozen or moving at a snail’s pace. It only selects the text visible on the current screen. I’m not sure what’s causing this delay.
I install the adobe acrobat Reader DC on approx. 200 clients via a software distribution.Every time I start Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I am asked whether I want to make Adobe the default pdf viewer. I do not want this and I do not want this message to be displayed. Text of the message: “Make Adobe Acrobat Reader DC my default PDF application.” I have found the option in adob's “Preferences” and “General” that allows me to prevent the message from being displayed. “ Notify me if Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is not my default PDF application.” how can i automatically remove this tick via settings (gpo, powershell, ...)?many thanks for your help!
I am trying to open a zipped file uploaded by my professor through adobe acrobat reader but it keeps giving me an error message which states the file is not supported or it has been damaged. The other students have been able to access it without a problem though.
Encounter measure tool snap (endpoint; Path; midpoint...) function is not working, hence not able to get accurate dimension, this just happen recently. I have no issue using this function few month ago, seem like there is some update and this snap function no more working. Below measurement is few month ago, but now not able to get accurate measurement due to not able to snap accurately on the line.
We have a Fillable Form with Macros created by a 3rd party that is not loading properly on a specific device in Adobe Reader. That would not be a huge issue, but unfortunately that device in question is our VMs that most of the staff use.On my laptop, with the same version of Adobe Reader the form loads without issue. It also loads in the VM if using Adobe Pro, but not everyone has a license. Here is the testing that has been done. 1. Delete Adobe Reader including temp files and reg keys and reinstall - Issue persists2. Check the Preferences settings between devices, they are set the same.3. Unselect all Enhanced Security options to ensure elements are not getting blocked.4. Can open other form fillable PDFs without buttons or Macros attached. Attached are screenshots, I feel like there must be a setting that is blocking the content from loading, and it may even be an OS setting, but I am not sure what function the elements would even be referencing.
There is another bug with the Adobe Reader (beyond the lost icon on Windows 10), this time with its preview support for the current version of Outlook. If the user is running with multiple monitors where the primary display is at 125% scale factor and a secondary display is at 100% scaling, the Adobe Reader Previewer mangles the view on the 100% scale factor display. Scale factor is set for monitors under Windows Settings -> System -> Display -> Scale and Layout, then select from the drop-down. See two screen captures below for a demonstration of the problem. This has occurred at least across the past few updates to Outlook. This has been broken long enough, and you still have not fixed it, that I'm finally posting a complaint. I am running version 16.0.11029.20045, 32-bit. To fellow users, is there a fix or work-around? If not, how do we make sure that Adobe gets this bug report so they will fix in the future? (I'm not optimistic, after the icon has been broken (Adobe Reader a
