I'm having a problem with the highlight tool: every time I use the tool, Adobe automatically stops understanding that I want to continue highlighting, and instead goes to the text selection tool, which is very inconvenient, because it means that every time that I want to highlight I must select the "highlight" tool again. Does anyone know what can I do? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but there is no solution.
Adobe Acrobat Reader version 2026.001.21563, full screen mode, mouse right click do not go back one page in “New mode” but well in classic mode, why? Related checkbox in Preferences->Full Screen->"Left click to go forward one page, right click to go back one page" has been checked.
My Adobe is refusing to Scan & OCR - it keeps saying "Scan & OCR is getting installed. Please wait to use this tool". I have reinstalled it, I have restarted my pc, I have signed out and back in to Adobe, nothing has worked.
I'm using Acrobat Reader DC. I have a signature created using File&Sign. Everytime I open a PDF I can use the signature to sign documents. I have a question where exactly this signature file is stored within Adobe, if I have to all the saved signature without opening a PDF document. Where should I look for? Is that file readable. I want to view all saved signatures. Can I locate the file which holds signatures what is the name? Any help locating the system file will be appreciated.
Adobe Acrobat is asking me if I want to save a PDF I opened that I downloaded from the internet, even if I did not make any changes to the PDF. This happened after an update to the software. I am running Adobe Acrobat 2026.001.21563. I have troubleshooted this issue from forums online, I have looked it over with a senior IT technician at the company I work at, and we looked at quite a few settings in the preferences menu and tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat, and same thing I get the same issue. I work in printing as well, so another issue is when I download and drop a file in the Command Workstation app for printing, that app doesn’t recognize the file. I have to open and save it first, then drop it in the app for it to recognize the PDF. I’m trying to determine if this is something to do with an update that Adobe put out or if it’s something elseAny advice would be great, thanks.
I’m trying to send a document from my MacBook to my iPad. Share doesn’t offer the Apple sharing functions any more. I cannot find them anywhere in this app. Where did they go? Removing them to force Adobe cloud or whatever will just push me (and many others) to a different app to read and manipulate pdf files.
I have previously used Acrobat Reader DC and had previously uninstalled it. I am now trying to reinstall, and am continually getting the message "newer version already installed". I am using Windows 10 and am downloading via Chrome. Javascript is enabled in Chrome. Activex scripts are enabled. I have run the Acrobat Cleaner utility. It seems everything that can be tried has been tried. I would be grateful for any assistance on this issue.
I canceled my trial on the same day that I signed up. I received an email confirmation of the cancelation but was still charged. Why?
libcrypto-3-x64.dll : Still seeing lots of issues flagged by defender. Current installed Adobe version: 26.1.21563.0, libcrypto-3-x64.dll version: 3.4.4
A couple of months ago, I was able to open a pdf on Google Chrome without having to save it. Now for some reason, my settings have changed and it asks me to save the document first before opening it. I am forever saving pdfs to my desktop to view a pdf then deleting the pdf afterwards. How do i just open the pdf without saving it. Please note, I have tried doing the same thing on Internet Explorer and it does not ask me to save, it automatically opens. So, how can i do this on chrome? Also, I have tried going into the settings and turning off Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome and it does not work still. Please help.

Hi,I've added comments to a document. These can be comment boxes, lines, stamps, or drawings. Now I want to delete them. I can delete the comment boxes, but not the other comments. In other words, I can delete them, but they reappear after a few seconds. It doesn't matter whether I use the “Delete” option in the sidebar or the keyboard shortcuts.Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?
I was printing using Adobe Acrobat’s “Poster” mode when my print was interrupted and canceled. I cannot recover from where it was and only have enough paper for the final two pages, but it won’t let me select the final two pages, instead trying to print all 15 again. Is there any way to choose the pages under “Pages to Print”? I’ve looked through every forum and video and haven’t found an answer.
Hi everyone,I recently switched from Windows to macOS. Everything worked perfectly on Windows, but I am now having issues printing multiple booklets on my Mac.If I just print a single booklet, it works fine. However, if I try to print multiple booklets (e.g., 2 booklets at the same time), I run into the following problems: If I select "Collate", the pages are printed in the correct order, but they all come out bound together as one giant booklet. If I deselect "Collate", they come out as two separate booklets, but the pages are in the wrong order. On Windows, I could untick "Collate" in the Acrobat interface but tick "Collate" in the Printer Properties, and it would work perfectly. But on macOS, both "Collate" settings seem linked—I can only tick or untick both at the same time. Can someone tell me how to fix this?Printer: Fujifilm C4570
In my workplace we use adobe sign for out contracts, however IT creates our Adobe accounts because we need approval from higher ups for paid software. I was never given a permission password to use and I'm unsure if I can have a new one created through Adobe?
I have a document on pdf that was sent to me, but the person who sent it doesn't have the password, and I need to unlock it in order to edit it. Could you please tell me how I can do that?
Acrobat Reader will not load on my computer a desktop. I have unintalled it and installed it again. It has worked for years now it won't load.

Hello everyone.Windows 11. When I open PDFs containing annotations by double-click on it, Acrobat Reader window opens for a short while and disappears. This happens when I have new interface enabled. No problem with new look disabled. What is wrong with the file?
When hovering images it generates a description. This is almost always non-informative. Like: “picture containing text and font”. How do I turn this off globally? Thanks
