Acrobat SDK

I have several jpg files which I will be converting into pdf files. Can I then make these pdf files searchable?  If so, how do I go about doing this? I use Acrobat XI Pro.  The majority of the information within the files is text. Thank you,Denise

Why doesn't the compare function in Acrobat DC work properly?I have a relatively simple report document that contains text and tables (no images).  I edited the document source (It's a DITA xml document) and added a couple of paragraphs.  Now I need to provide my customer with a redline type document highlighting the changes but the compare function in Acrobat DC just doesn't work properly. Because I've added a couple of paragraphs in the middle of the document the oagination has changed and some of the table now split across pages at a differennt point.  There is no difference in the table but Acrobat DC INSISTS on highlighting every change in pagination as a delete and an insert.This is useless as my customer complains and it is very confusing.  If instead I output the report as a Microsoft Word document and use Microsoft Word's comparison feature it's shows only the actual changes,  I've bee wanting to use Acrobat's compare feature for months but every time

I had a adobe CC suite for a year but now reverted to adobe mastercollection CS6,installed the mastercollection, everything worked accept acrobat X pro. It keeps giving me a 130:11 error.I chatted with the helpdesk for hours and went to the forumsthis is what i already did:-deactivated, deinstalled CS6, downloaded mastercollection CS6 from the adobe site and reinstalled it (2x), still the same problem-downloaded programmanager 10.0 and updated it, still the same problem- deinstalled adobe creative cloud and reinstalled CS6, still the same problem- deactivated programs, restarted them and reactivated them, all programs worked but X pro still gave 130:11 error- i used adobe erase to erase all the programs af adobe, then reinstalled CS6, still the same problem.I am really getting frustrated, i need adobe X pro to be able to work, till now i downloaded a adobe CC trial but trial period is already finished.hope you can help!would creating a new adobeID and installing with that ID help?

Gibt es diese Funktion in Acrobat DC pro oder benötige ich dazu eine andere Software?Also durch "Klick" auf die rechte untere Ecke einer Seite wird diese dann umgeblättert. I am exporting a PDF file to Excel.  In several instances, a single bounding box is surrounding multiple rows of data, which then export to a single row in Excel rather than a single row per item.  How can I adjust the bounding boxes in the PDF to surround a single row of data?

My computer recently received some Windows 10 updates.  Since then, I've been unable to print MS Office files to PDF.  This is a critical function.  Please help!

Hey all!I have a PDF that has a button that duplicates one of the pages. No problems there, it works great. However, if you click the button a few times, then delete any of the duplicated pages, then create a new copy, then problems arise.Say I have "Page 1" then click the button twice, so now I have "Page 1", "Copy1 of Page 1", and "Copy2 of Page 1"Now I delete "Copy1 of Page 1"Now I click the copy page button again.Instead of creating the expected "Copy3 of Page 1" is creates "Copy2 of Page 1" again.So, now there are two "Copy2 of Page 1", so when you type something in one of the pages, it changes the text on both "Copy2 of Page 1". That makes sense, but it shouldn't be creating a second "Copy2 of Page 1"Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it?-Andrew

Question:  Is there a patch that solves the problem of file saving, locating and retrieving in MS File Explore?With the assistance of Adobe Customer Support;  I've transferred Acrobat Pro 9  to my new computer MS Surface Pro 4, using Win 10 and Office 365.  Adobe then directed me to a link that SOLVED the initial problems of Acrobat crashing the Win 10 system. i'm now facing the problem wherein I save to a specified folder a file saved as a PDF, but when going to retrieve the file it does not show in the designated folder, but when I open Acrobat Pro, I see evidence of the file, but when I click to open the file, Acrobat responds with a message "unable to locate file".This only happens with my GMAIL files I'm attempting to save and open. Is there a Patch for this problem?  considering the scale of the problem, I would imagine others would have seen this millions of times ahead of me.Looking forward to your guidance. After Installing Acrobat DC on an RDP server (2012R2) , unless you open using 'run as administrator' or are the actual administrator, the program opens for about 30 seconds and then closes. I found many users online with similar issues where they manually find and click on the EULA using the EULA.exe program, but I am unable to find that on the server at all. I have also tried manually entering the reg key 'EULA' with a value of 1 and that has not resolved.

Hello,My company just recent acquired the Acrobat DC program.In the process of trying to edit a PDF, I notice I did NOT have the capability to add bullets and numbering.All the tutorials says that is should be under the Format area but this is what I see.As you can see there is no section for bullets and numbering under Format.Why can't I see this simple editing tool.I have a Mac OS X 10.9.5 machine.Please assist.

I was wondering if there was anyway to have a fillable field automatically converted to a read only field once text is entered and the document is saved, but also keeping all the empty fillable fields open. I am trying to create quality control logs that can be filled out daily and saved each day. I would like users to only be able to fill out the fields once a day in a single document. I know this can be accomplished with the digital signature but I was hoping for something a little simpler for the end user since it will be saved to one computer in a work space.

Of our many customers, one wants to reorganize our corporate release notes (simplified version: issues at the front and fixes at the back). If I make issues and fixes two separate documents in a portfolio, users can organize the thumbnails however they like.Is that really the best I can do, or can I present the sections some other way that would enable customers to rearrange for themselves?Thanks very much. We currently use eSign for all our contracts and tax forms -- which has worked great. I'd like to upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC so I can use more of the pdf features as well.Will this be worth it? Does the eSign part of Acrobat Pro work as well as eSign?Thanks.

Just upgraded my team to Adobe Acrobat DC. Now when performing reviews our Identity changes. Person-A will opens PDF-1 for review and exits. Person-B will open it and comment on it. Person-A now comments on the PDF but notices their Acrobat Identity has changed to be Person-B. This is happening to every person on the team in that their identities are getting mixed up an they don't know who made what comments anymore.  Anyone have a clue as to how or why this happens and how to fix it? Some use Windows 7 others Windows 10.

I attempted to upgrade to acrobat XI. I have Acrobat IX on my machine. The upgrade demanded my Acrobat IX serial number which I installed many years and many moves ago. Up until that point my Acrobat IX worked perfectly. Now my Acrobat IX has ceased to work, and I cannot upgrade to XI without a serial number that was lost years ago. What can I do?
