Adobe Media Encoder

Hello Adobe, whenever converting a .mov file to .mxf using ME 2024 it fails. ME 2023 works but would like to use the latest version of ME. Below is the fail log information. Version: Premiere 24.1, Media Encoder 24.1.1Platform: Windows 10Hey everyone!I've been trying to export this project through media encoder for the last day or so. However it seems to get stuck rendering almost completely randomly. I've tried several different codecs, both gpu and cpu rendering, and even tried exporting it as an image sequence as a last ditch effort and nothing seems to work. The project contains a lot of linked media so I thought that might have been it, but it still seems to get stuck on parts of the video that are purely in premiere. It doesn't even pause at specific points as well, it seems to be almost completely random. In addition I notice that when it does pause cpu and gpu usage seem to go to almost zero like encoder paused. I have no clue why this is happening, any ideas?

I recently updated to the latest versions of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and as for the Audition, After Effects and Premiere features, I can certainly see an improvement. With Media Encoder, though, it's totally another story. I've been editing podcasts that last in average an hour and a half to two hours, and it usually take about 1 to 2 hours to render. Since the update, I've seen it climb to about 10 hours without doing anything different (Even though I don't see could have been done to upset rendering that much).  Any insights on what could cause this issue? It's really a deal breaker for me if something as simple as this simple podcast takes 10 hours, I don't want to see anything with high production...

Hi there,I experience a strange bug in Media Encoder. The SEQ TC is not showing correctly when i send the export to MediaEncoder. Instead of "SEQ TC: 10:00:00:00", which is shown in Premiere Pro and the Export Window in Premiere Pro, in MediaEncoder it is shown as "SEQ TC:#{nbsp}10:00:00:00.I use the newest Premiere Pro 24.1 and Media Encoder 24.1.1.I use the effect Metadata & Timecode Burn-In on a Adjustmentlayer (Metadata: Sequence Timecode, Metadata Label: checked, Field Symbol: unchecked, Format: SMPTE, Time Display: Source Frame Rate)If i uncheck the Metadata Label it turns out fine. I think the space between the label and the actual timecode is not rendered correctly (nbsp = no break space). Exported directly in Premiere Pro everything is fine. Also tried switching from hardware to software in mediaencoder, same issue.This is really annoying, when we are mastering and have to export like 60 Timelines at once. My comps never go from after to media encoder. I already reinstaled media encoder but it doesn't seem to work... Anyone know why?

Hi All, I have a live training that was recorded via Webex. In order to put in my LMS it must be converted. So I put it in ME, and once it is done converting and I watch it at 32 minutes it has started the audio over again. The video continues to play, but the audio starts over. App is up to date 24.1.1. Windows 10 Enterprise. 

I have a problem when uninstalling adobe media encoder, when I try to uninstall my pc I experience a blue screen which causes the uninstall process to be interrupted, I find that adobe media encoder is still there but cannot be uninstalled, I tried to find a way via youtube but it didn't work, I downloaded adobe media encoder but the version is different from the most recent version I'm not sure if that's what makes my adobe media encoder not detect the version and cannot be uninstalled, I'm confused what to do. in this case my adobe media encoder is 24.1 and in adobe creative cloud is available 24.1.1 I don't know what to do, please anyone help me

So I was trying to export an animation I made on Adobe Animate, but when got to the Media Encoder, it isn't even loading at all. Please help. (Note: Everything is completely updated)

I'm attempting to transcode footage (.MXF from Sony FX6) into H.246 format, and I'm doing so by adding the source footage into my Media Encoder queue. For some reason, every time ME hits the 50th video, it freezes - right at the beginning. Has anyone else had this issue?  I'm not sure if it's specific to the conversion I'm doing now - I've had issues with it freezing while making proxies for me from Premiere Pro. It wasn't until I was running this specific task that I realized it was occuring every time on the 50th video. I've tried this with a few different batches with the same result, so I know it's not specific to a video file (e.g. the file is corrupted). Hello all, Sometimes I need to add timecode overlay onto client's videos by transcoding through Media Encoder before starting audio post in pro tools. When I take a video, regardless of the source format, and export to ProRes or DNxHD it has exactly 1100 samples added to the front of the original audio once it has been processed. To say things another way, media encoder appears to be introducing 1090 samples of delay to the audio. But, and this is the important part, this is visible to me when importing into protools! When I import both the original and the re-endocded videos into, say, premier and check them: things line up just fine. But when I import into pro tools... no good, there's a consistent 1090 sample delay. However, Pro Tools doesn't see this delay with all files... only those that have been processed through media encoder into an MXF container seemingly. I working in Premiere Pro sending clips over and over again to Media Encoder queue to export them after. I have hundress of clips In Midea Encoder in queue waiting to be exported. But after rebooting pc or reopening After Effects all of clips cant to export. I recieve error:Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted. How to fix it problem? 

For years now these fonts are extremely unpredictable and invariably another buggy adobe tragedy.  I just realized the long form video I already released used a substition font. But, it will not render in time to fix the problem before I want to release it.  I've reported this problem before, the font I pick in premiere not appearing or something buggy with it in Encoder. I just don't have time to explain further. I've already lost so much inspiration and time dealing with adobe trash. 

For some reason, I cannot get Media Encoder to render the section of video that I have specified in Premiere Pro. Both are 2024.When I just export media it renders fine, but if I go through Media Encoder, it renders a section that is not part of the specified section. Is there some Premiere setting that I'm forgetting about?

I haven't created Voice Overs in a while using Audition so I may be forgetting some step(s).On Windows I try to export my track from Audition 23.6 to Media Encoder 23.6 using FILE > EXPORT> EXPORT> EXPORT WITH ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER and ME instantly creates a WAV file in the location I choose and the queue states "done". But the WAV file is only 12 kb or so every time and the file will not open in Media Player or Vlan.  The log indicates the encoding took a fraction of one second, if that. What am I overlooking or doing wrong???

Issue - Media Encoder won't encode anything on Animate. When I try to export an MP4 or H.246 with quick publish. It just gets stuck at 60%. After updating to version V24.1 Media Encoder takes up to 2 minutes until reading XMP-Data and starting encoding. In the meantime you will get no response from AME so it is very confusing because are not sure, if AME will to anything or if AME is hang up.So any response (progress bar, spinng wheel) will be helpful.Using AME with Premiere Pro and "Import sequences natively" is OFF.Mac Studio 2022 with M1 Max running Ventura 13.6.1

I know this is an issue for many users. However the only "fix" I saw was about a firewall issue on Windows machines. Running AE 24.1.0 and AME 24.1.0 on a M2 mac, I am unable to send compositions to AME. It simply does nothing except open AME.  Has anyone experienced this, and if so, found a fix for it? Thank you!

Frequently we are finding that Media Encoder is unable to encode when the source video is MXF. It never progresses from a ‘Ready’ status. Steps to Reproduce:Create a new project in Premiere with the MXF loadedFile -> Export -> Send to Media EncoderGo to MEStart  QueueStart button becomes a ‘Pause’ buttonThe job stays in a ‘Ready’ status and does not encode (screenshot attached) Tested using Premiere 23.6 & 24.0 and ME 23.6 & 24.0.2 on a VM with spec:Windows OS 11NVIDIA Tesla T4 16GB Graphics Card28GB RAMAMD EPYC 7V12 4-core 2.65ghz CPU(also on laptop with much reduced spec) The test was to encode as H.264 mp4 format, preset - match source. Changing encode options / presets doesn’t seem to have any effect. I've attached the media info for an mxf file that we used to replicate.   We found various community posts with a similar sounding problem but none of the fixes worked.  

For YEARS now I've been stifled by Adobe products with endless bugs. This is a bug that just will not go away. How is it this same problem keeps happening and Adobe hasn't fixed it yet despite being the most overpriced software of it's kind is mind blowing to me. Please let me know when there is a class action lawsuit against adobe for wasting so many valuable hours of my life with their bugs. Adobe will not consistently hold onto fonts and they end up disappearing causing the replacement font to be outside the containing folder and only partly displayed. I have reported this before and noticed others report this and adobe says we're aware and working on it and still years later this keeps randomly happening. Clearly this is devestating to a smooth workflow and extremely frustrating. You don't expect people to keep putting up with this abuse do you, paying outrageous amounts for something chronically broken and frustrating? Please stop wasting our money on whatever you're doing that is

I am running Mac Pro 2019 Ventura 13.5.2Premiere Pro 24.0.3 (Build 2)Media Encoder 24.0.3 (Build 2) So we have the same versions running. That answers that question When I send a sequence to export to ME it no longer encodes  but it says it's Encoding. When I go to "stop" it tells me that it is Encoding do I want to strop it? In the very recent past like before it updated version I was able to encode multiple sequences.I have no problem encoding a single sequence from within Premiere Pro itself. Often what ME does is says it's conecting to "Dynamic Link" "This may take a few minutes"But it never really connects. I attach a screen grab. I get no encode preview, although show preview is checked in settings.Just an update, I also have ME 24.2 Beta installed and it works fine. All was fine a version ago.....Thank you,Greg

When I export through Media Encoder there is audio in the preview. Audio is checked on for the export as well. However, when I export the project it renders the .mp4 with no audio. This is happening on two different workstations on two different accounts. It seems this issue arose after the new update in Adobe's software.

I run AME and Premier Pro on two computers; an iMac Pro and Mac Pro.  Recently, I discovered that AME on the iMac Pro has a problem.  I first noticed that it is misinterpreting a preset I have been using for years.  The preset is for Standard Definition NTSC 720x486 with 8 pixels cropped from the left and right and 3 from the top and bottom.  When I open it in AME on the iMac Pro it shows 8 pixels cropped from the left but 0 from the right and 3 from the top and 0 from the bottom.  The same problem is present with the iMac Pro with AME 2018, 2019, and 2021.  The problem is not present on the Mac Pro.  I exported the preset from AME on the Mac Pro and imported into AME on the iMac Pro but the issue is still present.  Furthermore, when I manually edit the AME settings on the iMac Pro and add the crops to the right and bottom and press OK, when I reopen the edit preset dialogue the right and bottom crops are gone.   I tried to attach the p

From a couple of days suddenly Media Encoder fails all the type of conversion/exports. I already tried to switch between CUDA and Software only, it changed that in Software Only in begin to fail a little later...I didn't change anything in my hardware, it works perfectly for months. Here's one of the log of manyPlease help me!
