Hi, I would like to encode a project from After Effects with Media Encoder, but it says: Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue. Cache-SSD is empty. What can I do? Media Encoder is also not starting as Standalone. Renderqeue in After Effects is working.I am working on Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2, Betriebssystembuild 19045.4046, AE and ME, nvidia-driver are newest versions dated today. I am stuck.Cheers, Albert

Simple 3 PNG files sent from After Effects to export via Adobe Media Encoder.Connecting to Dynamic Link server... and no progress. AME 24.4 (Build 7) BetaAE 24.3.0 (Build 42) Beta

Hi, i have a question. i was trying to render an image sequence as simple as it is, but when i go to the encoder and do the render the render turns out horrible. other this i saw is that the media encoder gives me an estimated size for the file and the file turns out to be lighter (whitch is because its rendering wrong), but in the media encoder and after effects looks ok so i dont know what the problem could be.

I was trying to render a after effects file on Media Encorder, But it doesn't render, it just stopping near end. I have attached a screenshot for whats happening. The application is not stucked, it is only the render. Please help me to fix this. Thank you.

what is the added value of a media encoder when it's working in direct in AE?  losing time

Hi,Just a quick remark on the Adobe Media Encoder settings pannel :  When choosing the format, the scroll doesn't work as well as it did on non the Beta version. the list pops out of the screen. A bit annoying. Here's a screenshot :

Ive been he whole day trying to export a video and its ending alqways like this...im using the version 23.6.2 exporting in H.264 bitrate +20, in 1080*1920.its using hardware aceleration with and nvidia Cuda of 4gFirst i was trying to export it in premiere, qhen it didnt work i tried to sen to Media encoder and it ended up the same way, then I tried to send it to after effects with the adobe dynamic link or just importing the timeline and it didnt work.when I thought it was a problem with the Project I tried using and older project and it ended up the SAME WAY.i uninstall and reinstall the three programs several times, using diferent versions below and none of this have helped.(i think this is a diferent issue, but now when try to open the after effects project it literally instacrashes)Anyone with the same problem? or that knows whats going on?

Any idea how to fix this? You can still see the video behind it.

I'm using both the current (24.1.1 build 2) MEdia Encoder as well as the Beta release. I have the same problem in both versions.Mac Studio M1 OS 14.2.1 64gigs of Ram I have 9X16 content that was exported as a 16X9 video with black bars on either side.I want to crop out the black bars of the 16x9 video and have the 9x16 video as a 9x16 video.I was under the assumption that Media Encoder's "Crop Tool" was where I could get this done. When I set the source crop to 9x16, the source window looked as I would expect: 9x16 with no black bars. When I look at the output, the video is still 16X9 with the black bars. The aspect ratio in the "Basic Video Settings" panel still shows 1920x1080 even after I applied the crop.I tried "match source" on and off, I unlinked the width/height, but the 1920x1080 aspect ratio never changed. The ONLY WAY I can get the crop to work is to manually enter the new 9x16 aspect ratio. 608x1080 This can't be how the tool was designed to work. Am I missing somethi

I use Snagit to do video screengrabs on my Mac desktop, and I would like to be able to bring them into Media Encoder to do scaled down versions of them. Snagit, unfortunately, always seems to create an empty audio track 1, plus a stereo audio track 2. When I render out the clip in Media Encoder, it only listens to track 1, so the render comes out silent. Is there any way to get AME to listen to ALL audio tracks when rendering?  I'd rather not have to open it in Premiere first to strip off the empty track. I haven't had any luck with adjusting the render parameters. I'm using Media Encoder 2024 version 24.1.1 (Build 2) on a Mac Mini with OS 13.2.1 Thanks in advance!

I know it's been asked before. But like many, I find myself in the same situation as those posts. Whether it's on After Effects or Premiere Pro, the project does not show up in the queue. Even if the folder is on the "watch list." Thankfully, the AE version I have can export '.mp4' videos, but sometimes I find myself in the need to export background-transparent videos so I need that '.mov' file to use on Premiere Pro. However, the problem persists with Premiere Pro.But yeah, has this been fixed? I found this other article: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/faq-dynamic-link-between-after-effects-and-adobe-media-encoder-doesn-t-work-next-steps/td-p/10898879, which seemed helpful at first but it does not. There were some helpful guides that I followed and I followed them in its entirety but the file simply did not translate. See this guide: https://helpx.adobe.com/mx/after-effects/kb/after-effects-composition-export-error.html (it's in Spanish) I

Version: Premiere 24.1, Media Encoder 24.1.1Platform: Windows 10Hey everyone!I've been trying to export this project through media encoder for the last day or so. However it seems to get stuck rendering almost completely randomly. I've tried several different codecs, both gpu and cpu rendering, and even tried exporting it as an image sequence as a last ditch effort and nothing seems to work. The project contains a lot of linked media so I thought that might have been it, but it still seems to get stuck on parts of the video that are purely in premiere. It doesn't even pause at specific points as well, it seems to be almost completely random. In addition I notice that when it does pause cpu and gpu usage seem to go to almost zero like encoder paused. I have no clue why this is happening, any ideas?

New PC at workEncoder 2024 crashes and freezes all the time, its uselessHow can you fix this for me

I recently updated to the latest versions of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and as for the Audition, After Effects and Premiere features, I can certainly see an improvement. With Media Encoder, though, it's totally another story. I've been editing podcasts that last in average an hour and a half to two hours, and it usually take about 1 to 2 hours to render. Since the update, I've seen it climb to about 10 hours without doing anything different (Even though I don't see could have been done to upset rendering that much).  Any insights on what could cause this issue? It's really a deal breaker for me if something as simple as this simple podcast takes 10 hours, I don't want to see anything with high production...

Hi there,I experience a strange bug in Media Encoder. The SEQ TC is not showing correctly when i send the export to MediaEncoder. Instead of "SEQ TC: 10:00:00:00", which is shown in Premiere Pro and the Export Window in Premiere Pro, in MediaEncoder it is shown as "SEQ TC:#{nbsp}10:00:00:00.I use the newest Premiere Pro 24.1 and Media Encoder 24.1.1.I use the effect Metadata & Timecode Burn-In on a Adjustmentlayer (Metadata: Sequence Timecode, Metadata Label: checked, Field Symbol: unchecked, Format: SMPTE, Time Display: Source Frame Rate)If i uncheck the Metadata Label it turns out fine. I think the space between the label and the actual timecode is not rendered correctly (nbsp = no break space). Exported directly in Premiere Pro everything is fine. Also tried switching from hardware to software in mediaencoder, same issue. This is really annoying, when we are mastering and have to export like 60 Timelines at once. You cant export each timeline sperately in Premiere Pro. This is a

My comps never go from after to media encoder. I already reinstaled media encoder but it doesn't seem to work... Anyone know why?

Hi All, I have a live training that was recorded via Webex. In order to put in my LMS it must be converted. So I put it in ME, and once it is done converting and I watch it at 32 minutes it has started the audio over again. The video continues to play, but the audio starts over. App is up to date 24.1.1. Windows 10 Enterprise.

I have a problem when uninstalling adobe media encoder, when I try to uninstall my pc I experience a blue screen which causes the uninstall process to be interrupted, I find that adobe media encoder is still there but cannot be uninstalled, I tried to find a way via youtube but it didn't work, I downloaded adobe media encoder but the version is different from the most recent version I'm not sure if that's what makes my adobe media encoder not detect the version and cannot be uninstalled, I'm confused what to do. in this case my adobe media encoder is 24.1 and in adobe creative cloud is available 24.1.1 I don't know what to do, please anyone help me

So I was trying to export an animation I made on Adobe Animate, but when got to the Media Encoder, it isn't even loading at all. Please help. (Note: Everything is completely updated)

I'm attempting to transcode footage (.MXF from Sony FX6) into H.246 format, and I'm doing so by adding the source footage into my Media Encoder queue. For some reason, every time ME hits the 50th video, it freezes - right at the beginning. Has anyone else had this issue?  I'm not sure if it's specific to the conversion I'm doing now - I've had issues with it freezing while making proxies for me from Premiere Pro. It wasn't until I was running this specific task that I realized it was occuring every time on the 50th video. I've tried this with a few different batches with the same result, so I know it's not specific to a video file (e.g. the file is corrupted). I'm also able to batch transcode 49 files at a time without issue.  First Attempt:Mac Pro (2019)macOS Monterey 12.63.2 GHz 16-Core Intel Xeon WMemory: 192 GB 2933 MHz DDR4AMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GBPremiere Pro v 23.1Media Encoder v 23.1 Second Attempt: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)macOS Monterey 12.6

Hello all, Sometimes I need to add timecode overlay onto client's videos by transcoding through Media Encoder before starting audio post in pro tools. When I take a video, regardless of the source format, and export to ProRes or DNxHD it has exactly 1100 samples added to the front of the original audio once it has been processed. To say things another way, media encoder appears to be introducing 1090 samples of delay to the audio. But, and this is the important part, this is visible to me when importing into protools! When I import both the original and the re-endocded videos into, say, premier and check them: things line up just fine. But when I import into pro tools... no good, there's a consistent 1090 sample delay. However, Pro Tools doesn't see this delay with all files... only those that have been processed through media encoder into an MXF container seemingly. Like, if I re-encode from H264 Mp4 right back into H264 mp4, the audio sync is fine in pro tools. It's just the Pro
