Adobe Media Encoder

I'm trying to encode a QuickTIme Full HD .mov (H.264) video to a DCP and I'm getting the following error."Imcompatable Video Codec found in the preset. Preset load failed." I've also tried to encode a .mov ProRes, same error. This is the first time using the latest AME version. Has something changed and AME doesn;'t support these files? I'm running AME 2021 (15.4.1)  

Hi everyone !I have a lot of troubles to export a 26 minutes film DCP with the AME 2017.0.2 (Queue from Premiere CC2017)- plugin Wraptor 2K / 25fps Flat. The export start but stops at different stats, sometimes at 10%, 20% or 50%... It's exporting on the local hard drive -> SSD 256GbOriginal file : QuickTime Apple ProRes 422 HQSystem : OSX MacPro late 2013In the past the solution was Davinci Resolve, but now, on the new version, you can't export a DCP without the watermark until you get license.Thank you in advance for your help !Simon

Every time I am exporting something from After Effects to Media Encoder, Media Encoder shows this message and closes down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both After Effects and Media Encoder 2 times and the message still appears. I have also restarted my computer. So what is wrong? Does anyone have some idea?  

When it comes to export my video on H-264 in FHD i only get up to 50% usage of CPU and 5% of GPU.. i have all the hardware CUDA acceleration on... i wonder why?

Since this update the encoder is extremely slow, 50 times slower than exporting from premire, what is happening?

Today when I added some corrections render just randomly stops. First try it stopped after 20 minutes, estimilated time and time left just stopped and not moving. Tried to pasue and render again but not worked. So I turned off Media Encoder and tried to render it again. Well, now I cant even plant AE project because I was stuck on "Connecting with Project", there is not even info about dynamic linking.I restarted PC, tried to render again, everythin went good, but now after 10 mins of render it happend again, everythin like before.Now I try to download older version of encoder but maybe anyone know the solutions for those random freezes.   Title edited by Mod

The rendered file freezes 5–7 seconds out, receiving no error messages.  This happened suddenly after a Creative Cloud update—I upgraded to Catalina, reinstalled CC and all the apps, the issue persists, universally. The AME encoding output preview looks normal.This happens regardless of project/content—even encoding a baked pre-render. So, Media Encoder is basically useless because it won't render unitl you close all "billing error" windows, problem is, some of these windows won't even appear on screen, so the software simply get useless no matter what.On top of that, after effects isn't updating the media encoder queue, and all of this is without doubt being caused by this annoying useless warning bill that completely freezes media encoder until you close it, even when it doesn't even show up, this is not gonna make me solve the payment bill faster, it doesn't help me remember anything, it's just terrible serviceIt's SO disturbing I'm almost giving up my Adobe CC plan just because of this issue alone, It's a very low-class harassment attempt at forcing you to keep the auto-bill on in the hopes that you forget to switch it off before renewal...Shame on AdobeI shouldn't be harassed like this until MAYBE the last couple weeks of my membership or who knows I should have the option to simply turn off this warning and if

I'm currently running ME 15.4.1 on Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19043 & don't laugh at me but I need to create a cinepak codec AVI file. This is for a strange resolution 6688x24 & is the requested delivery format. Is there any way to get ME to create the file or is it just a none starter meaning I'll have to look outside Adobe CC? Thanks!

I'm trying to render a video in media encoder, but payment bill is constantly appearing and causing the software to crashWhen my payment is late, this usually happens 2 times before rendering using media encoder, it's kinda annoying but I think it's fine since the payment is late, but I still should have full software capabilities until the end of month, right now this screen appears everytime while I'm rendering until the render simply crashes, I'm gonna solve this payment issue next week. Is there a way to stop these crashes?Thank you

Hello, each time I want to export my video from AE /clicking on the menu in AE to ecport in ME/, the Media Encoder doesnt launch, freezes. Each time I must uninstall and install ME again.It worked few month ago perfectly, I extended my Adobe package and since then is not working.I have AE in ENG and ME in my local language. Can you advise?

Research seems to imply that Media Encoder is a free adjunt to programs 'such as' Premiere Pro (eg https://adobe-media-encoder.en.lo4d.com/windows) and my understanding was if you had bought Adobe software that could usefully use this, it could be free ... but I have Adobe Audition at considerable cost per month and when I tried to add Media Encoder (so that I can export videos with added voiceover) I was told I could only download it for free if I had the whole Adobe suite/Premiere Pro.  Is this correct?  The advice is conflicting.  AND ... if Adobe don't allow this at present, could they consider adding it, given that Audition is a similar program to Premiere Pro, just leaning more towards the audio than the video side of things?  It would seem a logical step.  Does anyone on the Adobe staff monitor these posts and could kindly answer?

Hi, I am trying to export from premiere to media by pressing queue and i get this error massage..Media is installed in my creative cloud as you can see in the second photo.I also tried to uninstall and reinstall, still didnt help...Any suggestions?Tnx

The dynamic link between After Effects and AME seems not to work. When I export a file from Ae (Export/Add to Media Encoder Queue) Ae opens but nothing I added to the queue even after 30mins. This isn't right. The iMac is only 2 months old (i7, 72GB, 8GB GPU) running BIG Sur, so it's not a spec issue. I've tried holding shift when starting Ae to clear prefsI started AME first and then opened Ae I restarted the iMacI've waited 20mins The only thing that seems to work is if I uninstall the program and re-install and then leave AME open all day. Surely there is a better way? Any advice would be appreciated.David

Hi,I saw simmilar threads dating back to 2014-17, but the solutions handed there does not help me in any way.I have a problem with exporting files from AE and Premeire through AME, everytime i try I see the message "After Effects not installed" or longer one that says that there is a prolem with Dynamic Link.I tried to reinstall all my aplictins but it didn't work.I work on Windows 10 and i have all the newest updates installed.Please help 😞

Hi, I seem to be experiencing a problem whereby Media Encoder allows me to render and export using H.264, but the video playback (using VLC/Preview/Quicktime and other computers I've tested on) freezes 3/4 of the way through the video. The same issue seems to be happening on all files I try to export from different projects and only for H.264 exports – mpeg, mov etc seem to play back as they should do, without issues. I have also attempted to export .mov and then convert to H.264 after and the issue still seems to be happening. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Or know what the issue may be? Thanks in advance. Computer used:iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)Big Sur 11.2.33.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i516 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 All Adobe CC apps up-to-date to 2021 versions.  

I've got a comp that is pulling data from a JSON file (in the project). I have a controller that selects which client's data is being populated throughout.  When I render it out via render queue, it works. When I try to render it via ME, it just shows the default value of the text layers. Is this still a known issue? Are there workarounds? ETA: This is with the most current Ae and Me (18.4.1 (Build 4) and 15.4.1 (Build 5), respectively) on a MBP running Big Sur 11.5.2.

Hello there, I am having an issue rendering after effects compositions on Media Encoder. You can see the problem below.  Any ideas regarding this problem? I am going mad.  Thank you so much.    

I need to change what account I linked to AME and Premiere I try logging out and logging into a different account it will always revert back to the original account. I have tried logging out on AME, Premiere and all browsers and it will still reset. Any Help would be appreciated. Using CC 2018.

Well now I can't render H.264 codec without ME freezing my whole computer during the process. Tried like 15 time and it's never made it past halfway on the renderer.   Title edited by Mod
