August 2025 Issue with Project Manager [PP Version 25.3 – latest version][OS Sequoia 15.5 – latest version] I have a large project to offload to a colourist and have tried to use the 'Collect files and copy to a new location' function in Project Manager (File > Project Manager…) After several attempts I am still receiving the "An unknown error (-1609629681) occurred during the Project Manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation." I have been looking for a solution for days now. Here's what I've tried based on Adobe support and what I've seen on this forum: 1. Check available disk space - I have three times what is needed on my external SSD 2. Uncheck the following boxes:Include preview filesInclude audio conform filesExport media files to match clip namesExclude unused clips Update OS—latest version OS Sequoia 15.5  4. Every time I try to open a project with a version of Premiere newer than 25.5, it crashes immediately upon loading. It doesn’t matter if it’s v26 or 25.6.x. I’ve tried restarting the computer, resetting the preferences and clearing the cache, restarting again, none of it worked.However, it does appear I can open a new project in v26 without it crashing, and I can open a v26 project that a co-worker creeated and I took over (they were able to successfully update a while back and are not getting my errors).I’m on an Apple M3 Max chip, macOS 26.2, 96 GB RAM.Please help.

Default media scaling does not work when update to 25.6.1This had already happened in a previous update and then they corrected it.Now it fails again imac M1 16GB ram macOs Sequoia 15.7.1

In premiere, the audio file that I have is only playing from the left side. I have followed all of the YouTube videos on how to fix this, from modifying the audio channel to adding the "fill right audio with left" effect. After adding the effect, the audio file in the timeline still only plays from the left, but in the source it shows that both the left and right audio channels are filled. And when I play the audio file in the source window, it is playing from both the left and the right. So basically, in the timeline, I only get left audio, but the source shows both left and right. Any ideas on how to fix this or what I need to do to make both sides play in the timeline? Thanks!!

keyframes are ignoring my position within ellipse mask under lumetri premiere 2026. I’ve done a screen recording that I can send to adobe privately. I cant post the footage here. I just want to make the screen black and white and draw a circle around the subject who needs to be in color and I’m trying to keyframe it and its ignoring my keyframes.

is there a keyboard shortcut to select multiple clips on the timeline?

The mouse icon typically switches to specific icons when you switch to the Razor, Slip or Rolling Edit Tools. In Premiere 2026, the standard OS mouse cursor remains. I have some 720x480 PX clips shot on an old Sony Handycam that I want to display as verticals. When I import the clips into my landscape orientated sequence they fit the 720x480 ratio.However when I the rotate the sequence (using sequence settings and flipping the dimensions) the clips dont seem to have the same ratio and show black bars top and bottom.When I flip the pixel dimensions it shows a different ratio. (From 4:3 to 20.33)I also see that the video info in the project bin is showing: 720x480 (0.9091)Are the original clips ratio just slightly smaller? Could it be that the clips are in PAL pixel dimensions? Camera: Sony DCR SX45 / Video quality High  

Does anyone know why Premiere crops the edges of the frame like this? I've already tried different settings. The video is 2160x3840. I don't need this kind of stabilization.

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing an issue when exporting 4K H.265 footage for Instagram/TikTok. After export, videos display intermittent green screen artifacts during playback on mobile devices (though they look fine in Premiere and on desktop). My workflow:Source footage: iPhone 15 Pro (4K H.265, 30fps) Sequence settings: Custom 4K timeline (3840×2160, 30fps) Export settings: H.264, 1080p (to meet platform requirements), VBR 2-pass, Target bitrate 15 Mbps Using latest Premiere Pro 26.0 on MacBook Pro M3 Max, macOS Sequoia 15.3 I've tried:✓ Exporting directly vs. via Media Encoder (same result) ✓ Switching to ProRes export then compressing externally with HandBrake ✓ Disabling all effects/transitions on affected clips ✓ Clearing media cache and restarting Premiere ✓ Testing different bitrates (8–25 Mbps) The green artifacts only appear on mobile social apps—not in VLC, QuickTime, or when previewing the exported file on my computer. My audio track waveform is glitching. When I zoom out, suddenly the waveform is changes. Also the audio is not sync with what I’m hearing. Anyone know how to fix this?This is the correct waveform, sync with the audio that came outIt changed when I zoomed out 

Hello, today, while I was working on a project in Premiere Pro, the preview image suddenly disappeared. In Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, the video preview does not open in the part where the preview screen is located. When I press the space bar, the sound of the video starting is heard, but there is no image. I searched in many places, but I could not find a solution. I deleted it and reinstalled it, it didn't work, I cleared the media cache and it didn't work, I downgraded or upgraded the version and it didn't work either. I tried and many other things but I couldn't find a solution. I am sending the screen recording as an attachment. So…This wasn’t fixed in 24, neither in 25, now it’s in 26. Please tell me, Adobe, that the team at least discussed this issue.It happens randomly, with random media. I wad a 2-tracks multicam sequence of mxf files in a 1080p sequence: Cleaning cache did not help. Restart did not help, resetting workspace\Pr preferences did not help. Reddit is full if such cases. This forum has complaints about the same issue.  

Have been using Premiere Pro 2025, the app updated itself to the latest version (26) and is saying all my clips (hundreds) are offiline. When I try to relink them it says there is an issue with the audio channels type. Its ridiculous because I've been working on this project for months and have never had this issue. I saved a project, then saved it as a new copy and opened this new copy and got this error for every AUDIO I had in the project, both mp3 and wav. See for yourself Is anyone gonna do something with it?  

So for the past year or so I’ve been noticing (on the most up to date versions of Premiere) that when I re-open a project I’ll frequently see this bin created with duplicate media called “Recovered Clips”. When I searched for that issue here on the forum, I found a couple threads discussing it regarding when using the “Productions” feature. But here’s the thing – I’m a solo freelance editor working on single projects, not collaborating and not working on anything necessitating “productions” at all! So I have no clue why this is happening. The other variable that is NOT occurring are crashes. It would make sense to me if this Recovered Clips bin were created after a crash or something. But nope – this happens on projects that were safely saved, closed, computer powered down, restarted and re-opened the next day. Often when you open a timeline, the timeline panel has tons of dead space above the video track. This is a question for Engineering. Why is this? If you look at the image, you can see a lot of wasted space, even though the audio tracks are not visible. 

Very recently Adobe Premiere became very choppy, laggy and nearly unusable. I deselected High Quality Playback and working on ¼ quality. When I delete the media cache, it’s working for several minutes but quickly became laggy afterward.

Hi ​@Mathias Moehl Is there a way with Automation Blocks to add a video track above the current, highest video track and then be able to determine what the track number is?I want to create a script that adds a video track above everything and drops a clip into that track.Thanks!Sam

I’m working on a UXP plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro and I’m trying to understand a behavior difference I’m seeing between Stable and Beta builds on macOS. Scenario The plugin works as expected on: Premiere Pro Beta (macOS) Premiere Pro Stable & Beta (Windows) On Premiere Pro Stable (macOS): The plugin loads correctly Authentication / initialization succeeds But when performing certain runtime operations (e.g. actions on a sequence), the flow fails The same plugin build works without issues on Premiere Pro Beta on macOS, which makes me wonder if there are runtime, permission, or sandboxing differences between the two. QuestionsAt a high level, I’d like to understand: Are there known discrepancies or limitations between: Premiere Pro Stable vs Beta UXP runtimes on macOS? Are there any macOS-specific restrictions (permissions, networking, sandboxing, security) that behave differently in Stable vs Beta? Are there recommended ways to verify UXP support or
