Hi, I am seriously wondering if there is any way I can change this weird yellow color of pupet pin in Ae.and also any way I can make this weird yellow color circle bigger? My eyes are hurting, they are so tiny. Thank you. 

I'm currently running After Effects CC 2017 on my Macbook Pro; specs are below.Macbook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)OS: 10.10.5Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR2I've updated After Effects CC 2017 and I also emptied out my Media and Disc Cache.Whenever I try to auto-trace a text layer AE immediately freezes up and crashes before I cannot even click on the Auto-Trace dialogue box before the crash. I attempted this within my project which has gotten fairly big and in a brand new AE project with just a single text layer. I haven't received any error codes just the dialogue box that says that the program quit unexpectedly.

Hi,I'm wanting to track hands in a golf swing during the various stages.The problem is that the hand will change the appearance during the swing as it has to rotate in 3 dimensions. Normal motion tracking simply goes offline as the track point changes state.Would it be just easier to track the hand frame by frame or is there yet an easier automatic method?Source material: Luke Donald - slow motion golf swing - YouTube Cheers!

Is there anyone who knows about and could explain why the option "Create Camera from 3D Model" under Camera options, is greyed out and doesn't seem to get to work?  I understand that AE should be able to process c4d, glb, and obj files for 3D modeling, but do they need to be prepared in a certain matter for it to function, and if so how?  With or without cameras from their separate programs does not seem to make a difference, nor does it pre-composing them. For example, adding basic lights and cameras in c4d or blender exported as glb file won't make it function. Is AE not picking up on the saved camera and lights from these files overall or does something need to be prepared beforehand?I cannot find that much regarding this option in the AE user guide or any other place online so was hoping some friendly soul here had a good explanation. How can expression to a layer comp that when have image in comp opacity 100 and when doesn't have any image in comp opacity 0?

After effects (24.1) keep crashing when I switch language from English to other language by input language hotkey (I'm using Thai language, by the way) The app was totally fine when I type the text somewhere else (like notepad) then copy and paste the textor even I switch the language by using taskbar, the app still working Thanks in advanced

Omino diffusion plugin showed up and was working... then an error occured and AE crashed.  On relaunch, Omino diffusion disappeared from effects list.All other Omino plugins, colorizer, snake etc are still present in the effects list. The location folder is program files, Adobe, support files, plugins, omino suite.aex files are present in there. Why has it ghosted itself?

Hey guys! For some reason, I'm unable to expand of the tools in the Composition or Effects. I click on that arrow on the left side of the function, but it won't open the drop down menu. Anyone else experiencing this? I fortunately know the keyboard shortcuts to pull up Opacity / Scale etc, but if I don't use the keyboard shortcuts, it won't open 😕😕 Not sure why this is happening.  Let me know if anyone is also experiencing this! Thank you!

I created a graphic template in AE with multiple text layers, and each has a bounding box. For flexibility, I have determined it's best not to have the bounding boxes for daily use, and just have unbounded text for each layer, but I can't figure out how to remove the bounding boxes. I could create all new layers, but I have so many effects and dependencies on each layer already, it would be a huge hassle. Any idea? Thanks.

Hello. I would like to remove the Lavalier mike and its cord from this clip. Normally, it would be a straight forward issue that can be solved easily. However, the woman’s hands keeps interfering and a simple removal is not possible. I will appreciate it very much if someone shows me the steps to take to remove tha mike and its cord while keeping the hands.

I can't copy and paste text from Illustrator to After Effects. I have tried one of the most used methods to solve the issue, opening the project from the After Effects panel rather than directly opening the project. It works till I copy 1 text, when I proceed to copy & paste other texts, it doesn't work again. I can't keep opening the project again & again to copy each text. Any NEW METHOD/SOLUTION would be appreciated. It's been a while since I have had this problem.

Hi Adobe and AE-Community, I am working on AE 24.1 / Mac OS Ventura / New Mac Studio and since 12 months I can't find any solution to one of these topics. AE behaves weird and seems to be defectively programmed. I do have serious problems to simply just work my job. Hi allI have created a morph video. The video is supposed to have a pink background, but when I add the pink background the morph doesn't work. I followed this tutorial: https://youtu.be/cRmKfClMWIE?si=1yzxljNO5dIEL5JR I did choose QuikTime, alpha & RGB and animation as output.... but it still doesn't work. kindly assist.  In other words, I need export the video with another colour background and not the normal black upon creating the composition...

In 1995, I produced a music video without the use of a computer.  I was revisiting it and looking back, I wish I paid more attentuion to one recurring scene that was of a crazy wild video of tv snow feedback with an overlay of a circle mask of the singer.  The bacjground of the video feedback is mostly on the bottom of the screen and I wish I filled the screen with it. I also would like to increase the size of the overlay (singer) to a larger circle. Is this possible?  Keep in mind that the video is constantly moving and coming at you. if it is possible, I would duplicate this layer and isolate the singer in the circle as an overlay and then use the original frame to add more of the noise feedback. I attached a scfeen shot.  Thanks for any suggestions. Tony

 A female character who appears in 1:08 seconds.    A female character who appears in 28 seconds.  How do you create this type of behavior?Is this a way to create an illustration in multiple parts and then apply motion effects?Or can I make it using a program like Spine or Unity? The adult game called 'Summer Clover' has a similar feeling... Hey all, I'm having an annoying issue with the Rotobrush tool in After Effects that I hope you can all help me out with. I'm very familiar with Premiere, but my After Effects knowledge/experience is lacking for sure, so it's quite possible I'm missing something pretty basic.I'm working with linked comps created from clips in a Premiere timeline. The only effects applied to the original clips were adjusting speed and framing. I open the comps in AE, and when I go to roto, it gives me a warning my clip framerate doesn't match my comp framerate, and then selects the entire frame. I change my comp framerate to match my clip framerate, and it still selects the entire frame. hi everyone, I have a mac with Big Sur operating system version 11.2.3.I have always used after effects to make animations. For some time, during video export, I can no longer get transparency while adding the alpha channel.these are my steps:          file > export > add to Render Queue > format Quicktime > channels RGB + Alpha.in this way, up to 3 months ago, I am always successful on this same device.  Now, once exported, it tells me that the file is not compatible with quicktime player. is there a problem with quick time? it does not open any files to me. using another solution, trying not to export with .mov, I tried with media encoder.these are my steps:         file > export > add to Media Encoder Queue > format: H.264 > render alpha channel only.the result is a video with a black background and white animation. obviously, in the composition, the transparency is set which is displayed c

I have a classroom full of students. Every time we install a font (either through the online system or using local fonts through Font Book) they are having to restart the entire computer for AE to recognize them. Any advice? We are using Sonoma 14.6.1 and AE 24.5.0 (Build 52).

Since I've switched to After Effects CC 2018 I've not been able to use the 3D camera tracker. I've looked around and couldn't find an answer and was wondering how to fix this or if anyone else has had the same issue. When I try to load a 3D object, After Effect cannot contunue advanced plug-in generated an unexpected explosion, it gives this message, says save and closes. Is there a solution for this?!... There is no way to load 3D objects directly, anyway?!...... So we will upload 3D nail polishes and fun 3D science.   Title edited by Mod.    

This has happened to me many times and only to objects like headlights and cars that are further away and smaller. I checked and made sure the speedramps are the exact same.

When viewing a comp at 100% or larger, I'm pretty sure I was previously able to use my middle mouse wheel to pan around and inspect details. Rolling the wheel zoomed you in and out, while holding the button down enabled you to pan around when zoomed in. I've lost that functionality, and now I can't navigate around my comp when zoomed in. Is there another way to do this? I'm used to adjusting things at the pixel-level, but now I can only zoom in towards the dead center. Has anyone else experienced this? I've restarted a bunch of times... Thanks.
