After Effects

My After Effects is still on trial mode. Is there a way for me to get the effect easily? I need it for a project and it seems like i can't find any "cc Particle World" anywhere on the internet.

Hi everyone.Can't just run my test cep extentionI do everything according to the instructions.I just take a test cep extention and put it along the path /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensionsit appears in my window - extentionsi click on it but the extention doesn't run.In the logs, this error "Signature verification failed for extension com.extension.testing.panel" Do I need to create a certificate, and use this certificate to sign all the files that are in my project?Or somehow sign through ZXPSignCmd. I work on Mac OS. Couldn't find instructions. What am I doing wrong?I ask for help

HelloI'm trying to use the lockdown plugin in after effects 24.after the popout part where everything works perfectlythe problem occurs after tracking within the plugin.Instead of appearing as a piece of the grid that I selected in tracking, the grid becomes full screen and it becomes unnecessary to add images.In my case the tracking is very small, just the space of a logo on the boy's chest.I managed to get the result with the trial version but an invisible grid-shaped watermark appeared.

Hello,this morning I used the Autotrace funktion in After Effects. As I want to use it in the afternoon, it will not work anymore. Is it possible, that I shift some adjustment so that this happened? The window for the Autotrace still opens, but neither in the preview, nor after I confirm the settings is there any mask. Do you have any idea? Thanks for your help!

Literally any time I try to do anything in After Effects which requires bringing up a file explorer window, it crashes - it just freezes completely and eventually has to be closed using the Task Manager. I am using AE 2024, but have tried AE 2023 and getting the same issue. I have tried opening in safe mode. Have tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling three times now. Have tried purging the media caches, removing plugins, everything I can think of. No matter what, it crashes. Means I cannot import anything into a project, and cannot choose a place to render a composition to, so essentially I cannot use AE currently. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this?!

Environment:Freshly formatted harddrive with a fresh install of Windows 10 and AE 23.6 (Build 62). Problem:Pressing the Esc key swaps the camera between Active Camera and Default in the Composition window (doesn't matter if there's a camera in the comp or not). This occurs during preview playback as well, which breaks my usual muscle memory workflow of hitting Esc to stop playbacks. I've been using AE for decades, and also had an install of 23.6 on the exact same hardware before two days ago, and have never encountered this before. I'm starting completely from scratch on this install, including starting with all new preferences - is this a recent AE bug that I'd somehow avoided by importing my old keyboard shortcut preferences on every previous upgrade? I tried changing the key behaviour, but the keyboard shortcut window doesn't allow changing the behaviour of the Esc key.

Hello Everyone! I am trying to create a basic animation in which a character on a pogo stick is bouncing up and down. To do this, I used audio from a real pogo stick and the keyframe assistant to generate a slider that could help influence the Y positioning. Unfortunately, it moved my character completely off-screen and I realize that I need to create a custom expression to help center the object and let the audio slider influence the positioning. Hi. I just discovered after getting that 2 "främaes preview error" and a very short RAM preview when it's working that After Effects it's limited to use only 1 GB of memory from the 32 GB i have. I tried many solutions found on forums, uninstalled the AVG antivirus but didn't manage to fix it.Actually it's a problem since it reserve for other applications  0 RAM.Anyone could help me with this? Please assit. There appears to be no instructions available on Adobe Forums or YouTube regarding saving a Lumetri preset in After Effects. Yes, there are lots of instructions available for saving Lumetri presets in Premiere Pro, but this is not what I seek. In Pr all end users seem to do is right click on Lumetri and then save the preset. However, in AE 24.1.0 right clicking on Lumetri does not offer an option to save a preset. Moreover, it would appear AE will not save Lumetri presets via Animation/ Save Animation Preset. Why not?Adobe, in an attempt to find a solution to this issue I have just lost fifty minutes contacting one of your support agents ("Parthasarathi"), who twice "left the conversation" without a conversation being had. This text service is flakey at the best of times. 

Hello, I'm having an issue with colors exporting in After Effects. The exported png, jpeg, AVI etc files are exporting with completely different colors than the colors in after Effects. When I export as H.264 the colors are the same as in after effects. However,  I want to export as an AVI without color manipulation. I will provide a photo of the issue below. Is there a way to render with color space as none as in after effects?  Left is Afer Effects. Right is PNG export. It looks like the right side is exporting with a Rec.709 color space. I don't want that.  

Hello Guys, I ve AE File in my External Disk i can open in this file from my disk and disk format is Exfat(ı dont have read and write problem about tihs).But when i want to save my project im taking an error.But i can save project my desktop.I ve enough space in my external disk too. This error is "After Effects error: File couldn't be opened for writing:My External Disk Adress" I changed Privacy setting and i added all Adobe Programs Full Disk Access either Files and Folders accessibility but it dosent work.Im still dosent save the external disk. Can anyone help me about this error.

Hello,since I could not find anything about Cryptomatte in the documentation, I try it here: I would like to write a script for the Cryptomatte effect so I get a masked composition for every Cryptomatte object saved in a multi-layered EXR. I have already written a similar script working with RGB mattes, now I would like to do the same with Cryptomattes - I just cannot find if there is a scripting access and if so, how it works.I have already found out that the Output value is managed with a number - but for some reason it seems to be readOnly and cannot be set by script. Is that true? With the settings object I was not able to get anything in or out by script without the proper syntax...Has anyone more knowledge about this topic? Thanks,Bob

Hello, I'm new here and I'm curious if anyone is familiar with OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) and its browser source feature. In OBS, you can add a browser source and input a source link. Any changes made, such as altering lower third text or updating a sports score, instantly affect your live stream. My question is, does After Effects have a similar capability? For instance, a feature that allows you to input a link in After Effects, and any changes made via a browser would immediately update text or content in After Effects. To clarify further, if we're working with an AI file and make modifications in Illustrator, after effects immediately update that.

When doing a preview, as soon as the playback "head" gets to the end of the composition, it jumps back to the beginning and continues playing from there.The "loop options" control is set to "play once".To rule out the possibility that there's something wrong with my the contents of my composition, I created a comp with nothing in it and it does the same thing.

I've imported a Premiere Pro sequence via Dynamic Link into my project. At frame 191 of the composition, the layer is rotated upside down. The rotation property has not been modified, and there are no effects on the layer that would yield this result; the only transformation that's been applied to the clip is that it's by scaled down 50%. (See screenshot.) What's going on here?

Hi there! I'm trying to make a template for an Instagram story. I want it to be so that I can easily change the text in Photoshop, but when I do so, the text doesn't align well. I've made a quick screen recording to show what I mean: 

I made a "complex shape" by grouping several shapes together and then adding a "merge path." I now want to animate an object on this merged path. Everything I've read says to just copy the path to the position property of the shape to animate, but this doesn't work. If I try to copy the merged path property and paste it on the position property of the shape layer to animate, nothing happens.
