Hola, guten Tag!I've worked with the Notch codec earlier this year and for the past few months, I've been getting these 2 error messages when starting AE. Note that I don't need the plugin anymore. It also seems to mess with my other plugins I'm using as they usually appear to stop working after 30-60 minutes (I tried resetting them and all) My launching looks like the following: <<*Launches AE*After Effects warning: The following plugins have failed to load. Issue - typing in a new frame number in a time remap parameter in the timeline produces the wrong number. Steps to reproduce - 1. take a footage layer, set it to 'freeze current frame' 2.edit the frame number in the text field next to time remap in the timelineExpected result - it should show the correct numberActual result -  it shows the wrong number. the workaround is to carefully drag the text slider to the correct number.Adobe After Effects version - this bug has been present at least since 2020 until 2025Operating system - Windows 10 or 11GPU driver version (Windows only) - any driver version

every time i try and set it up it bugs and says error code 127, so then when i go and find error code 127 and see how i can fix it, it ends up telling me to go to the adobetemp which i cant find in files help pls   [moving to the correct community, as this is about After Effects and not about Lightroom Classic - Mod.]

Someone please help me for the past 2 days I've been stuck, I'm using the beta versions of premiere and after effects, whenever I try importing my project from premiere into AE, everything goes into after affects like the captions and sounds ETC, but my b roll/footage is just black and not showing up. Please help 

I'm testing scriptui panels by launching them from VSC, the problem is when the panel loses focus it goes behind the main window. The only way to get access to the panel is to shrink the main window to reveal thepanel hiding in the background, supoer nnoying. The panel works fine and stays on top if it is run from the file/scripts/run script...   Is there any way to force the panel to stay at the front?   Mac OS 15.5AE 25..5VSC 1.105.1ExtendScript Debugger 2.1.0

I've been editing a video for a day and this morning when I went to play "Cached Preview Needs 2 or More Frames to Playback" pops up. I've tried purging and putting it in Quater or Custom but nothing works.I've tired putting more ram in but whenever I change it and look back it goes right back to 0 and I don't know how to fix..    Title edited by Mod.

I render out a lot of image sequences at work, b/c if you have a small change in the middle of an animation with lots of layers and effects, overwriting a few frames is a lot faster than a whole mp4. It drives me crazy that I can't patch up a few frames in the middle of a sequence with media encoder. I have to take the time to let AE render them, or downsave to another version which is inefficient.Why isn't there the option of using the same frames numbers as the after effects comp that's been exported? I officially request this option in future updates. Unless anyone knows of a work around? I haven't been able to find one.

Hello,I’m new to After Effects plug-in development.In my plugin, I need to perform strict RGB value comparisons in an 8-bit environment, so I also want AE to automatically convert input to 8-bit when the project is set to 16-bit or 32-bit color depth.However, I’ve noticed that when AE automatically converts 16-bit or 32-bit images down to 8-bit for an effect that only supports 8-bit, it introduces subtle noise or dithering artifacts.I tested several of AE’s built-in “8-bit only” effects and saw the same issue — the colors contain subtle noise, and sometimes the noise even evolves, like in this GIF.My plugin needs to calculate and output precise HEX color values, and several internal steps depend on exact 8-bit operations and strict RGB comparisons.So my question is: is there any way to avoid these noise artifacts during AE’s automatic 16/32-to-8-bit conversion?

What is the point of AEGP_GetLayerToWorldXform matrix? What does it give me? It's a really confusing name, does it transform the layer-space coordinates to composition-space? What does "World" mean? Is it supposed to be used to make an effect work in composition space instead of layer space?

I cannot download after effects, It only shows "free trial" or "buy" options on creative cloud app, but I have After Effects on my plan. When I try to purchase, it gives an error: "This purchase is not supported. You already own After Effects." But I cannot use After effects. 

Does anyone know if there’s an expression or plug-in that can translate text in AE?

Hi,I am working on a project for one of my clients to create/ identify automated plugin/tool for Adobe After effect language localization ie. to convert the content in Adobe After effects to different languages.Could someone point in the right direction as to where I find an automated plugin for the same?If not,  just a sample plugin to get started with the project?Any help would be massively appreciated.Thanks in advance.Kritika!

Hi, I need some help or some advice here.  I keep trying to do content aware fill on this scene on the rotoscoped out subject, but everytime I try to do it I crash around 25-35 percent.  I will note that I always crash while using the Object mode, which is the mode I need. I have tried rendering with Edge Blend and it renders perfectly. I have also tried splitting the clips into 1 second portions and it still doesn't help. I can't consistently generate an error code, but I have received an error code and it did mention something like "No Memory left." I have turned on a setting that utilizes all of my memory towards After Effects while rendering.  I have attached a screenshot of what my project looks like, and what my PC specs are. I am running the most updated version of AE and I am running on the most updated version of Windows 10. If anyone has any advice please let me know!!!!!!

Searching for info on a keyboard shortcut for navagating between the layer keyframes .. such as position, scale, rotation, etc .. It is way too tedious to click on the little triangle and back to editing.Tried to search the Forums and found nothing.No custom options either.

I need to render a bunch of UHD TIFF sequences to an intermediate format for use in other compositing activities.  There are no effects of any kind, just a straight image sequence render.  I've tried Quicktime DNxHR and ProRes and both take 90+ minutes to render a 12,000 - 15,000 image TIFF sequence.  The exact same render job takes ~10 minutes in Resolve. So, cleary I have something set incorrectly in the AE export. Any suggestions on where to look?

I wanna install Adobe Aftter Effect 20th version form Creative Cloud, but the version is not available anymore.I am using MacBook Pro M1 and there will be some compatibility issue for sure if I use recent versions.So, is there any option for this one?

So basically I have an older project file I want to use some assets from, which is made with After Effects 2019. Now I want to open this project file with After Effects 2020 but as soon as it loads up it says "Unnamed Project.aep" on the top where normally the file path is shown. Also, the Composition field is totally empty which means I basically opened a completely new Project.Is there any fix for this issue or do I have to redo everything I did in the old Project File?Best regards,Restiix

Hi, I have been using Frame.io really actively about a year and a half ago, and I had a pannel inside AE that allowed me to send compositions directly into Frame.io and overall it was very convenient.  I have just strated a new project and wanted to use it again, but it does not seem possible? I have the latest version of AE (25.4.0) and I work on Windows - I searched in my AE windows and extensions, reset the workspace, but for the life of me can not bring the Frame.io pannel back into AE.  When I try to reinstall it from the Creative Cloud App, I only get an option to use the web version, but it is super inconvenient and adds a lot of extra steps to my workflow. How do I bring back the in-built AE pannel for Frame.io?

A couple days now when i start AE (latest version) i get a licensing error: Please connect to the internet as soon as possible so the license can be activated (101) I am now at 1 days.. so im fearfull AE will just stop working right in the middle of 4 deadlines. I thought earlier this was related to AE scripts because they had a major outtage preventing plugins from activating. But now i know its AE itself that is giving met this error. Hi! When scrolling down in the inspector, I often accidentally change parameters with the mouse wheel. Is there a way to disable this for the mouse? The wheel should only scroll and zoom in/out.

Hello, I have imported my audio and clips onto my composition, however they do not show up on my timeline, therefore I cannot edit them. I have restarted the app and cleared my cache, yet nothing is helping. Please let me know if you know a solution.
