I'm running Adobe Audition Ver 12.1.5.3. This should be a simple move but I can't get it to work. If you move the Toolbar from its default position I cannot drag it back to its original layout at the top of the screen under the menu bar. The default layout has all the tools in one horizontal row. When I try returing it by dragging it to the default position my Toolbar now has three rows of tools making it much thicker. How do I return it so it looks like the original layout? Right now I'm "Resetting to Saved Layout" in the Workspace Menu.
Can someone give me tips on how to make the voices louder and clear? please thanks
MfGMarcel
I'm a beginner to adobe audition and I've been mostly using it to remove the noise on my tutorial videos,I usually follow a very basic noise reduction process by capturing a good noise sample then playing with the settings until I get the right quality and applying it to the entire file selection. But sometimes It seems like the audio resets from the beginning, let's say we're at 10:30 of the audio, and at 10:31 it goes like "Hey guys welcome to the 5'th C++ tutorial and ..." and repeats the audio from the beginning without even finishing it.So basically the audio is restarted at 10:31 (10:31 is just an example). I don't change other settings or apply other effects.
I am a Audition user and I'm experiencing problems with an audio file that I've imported into the editing platform. The original file's audio quality is ok, but when it is imported into the software it degrades into something that is unworkable, as the file becomes muffled and extremely noisy. I opened the same file in a multitrack session and I was given a prompt that told me that I had unmatched sample rates as well. I'm looking to get this resolved!
This is a weird one, I've been trying to figure it out for most of the past two weeks to no avail. If I record a track in Audition, the sound comes out incredibly low. Like barely even audible, tiny waveforms, etc. even if my gain and output on my mic pre-amp are cranked all the way up, and my recording volume in WIndows settings is turned all the way up.However if I open Audacity or Sony Music Studio (without changing any settings in between) it records at the appropriate/expected volume for the gain settings. The issue only occurs within Audition. What could possibly be causing this problem? For what it's worth I'm using an Audio-Technica 2020 microphone, which is connected via XLR to an A.R.T. Project Series Tube MP which is then connected to the PC via USB, and my computer is running Windows 7 Professional. Any ideas or insight would be helpful, I'm pretty much at my wit's end here.
I create short highlights versions of my Podcasts for Social Media using clips (see attached screenshot where a clip I need to use is on Track 1 and the rest of the full Podcast is on the lower Track). Can I name the clips so that when I move them around I know what they are? (i.e what questions or conversations they are). The problem is that the Markers don't move with the Clips. I can't figure out a way to permanantly link the markers to the clips. I don't know how to solve this problem. This is really important because, for example, LinkedIn has a 10-minute video limit, Twitter has a 2m:20sec limit for video. I need to be able to quickly re-arange content with questions that make sense and flow properly.
Dear all,I have 3 mono files that I would like to combine into one multichannel file. I thought this would be rather easy, but so far I have not been able to find how to do it. I have tried creating a new, blank 5.1 audio file, but I cannot drag and drop the mono channels into the channels of this file. No success using multitrack sessions either; each channel always has its own track and I cannot figure out how to export/mix the tracks into a single file with 3 channels. Am I overlooking something really obvious here? Hopefully someone can help me out, many thanks in advance!!Cheers
How can i stretch a voice, a narration of a piece of text, to double or +50% the time without compromise vocal properties? I've tried various parameters but the voice is always "stretched" slower. Thank you
After successfully trialling Audition, when I click on [Buy] in Creative Cloud (on my Mac Desktop), it takes me to Adobe Presenter purchase page... WTF?!?And on the Audition product pages, there's nowhere to BUY the software. What gives!?I've never had this much difficulty spending money with another software supplier. Just might be the trigger for me to go spend my money elsewhere.
I have a multi track project, that has live recordings. There is tempo drift between them. How can I perform a beat detection and have the drifts smoothed out so that the tracks lay cleanly in time?
In the Editor Window of Audition, to the left of the Track Name, there is an Icon (a wave for audio files, film reel for the video file). I am able to select the icon in mulitple tracks and it places a box around each icon. What does this do?
I'm using CC 2015 in Win10.4GB of RAM might not be enough at all for Audition but for now thats all I have. What I noticed: whenever I'm using Audition only, my overall RAM workload never goes above 50% but Audition lags and crackles. Why isn't it using all my available RAM up to the 3.1 GB, I gave it in the properties?
I've just purchased a new computer for work which I use Adobe Auditon on. The app generally launches anywhere between 5-10 seconds. However, the issue occurs when I try to open audio (both from the local drive and network locations), the program freezes/hangs for a long time until it finally loads up. Then any edits or changes made with effects seem to take a long time to complete on a 2 minute audio file. Same problem when I try to close the audio file in Audition, it hangs for a little while and then closes it. I'm on the latest version of Audition (13.0.2.35) and I've tried the following; Uninstall and re-install using the Creative Cloud Cleaning ToolResetting the preferencesDeleting Media CacheDisable Extensions Any ideas on what I could try?
Hi,I've spent about two hours recording into Audion in this one file. I've trimmed the audio down to about 7 minutes and edited it.Suddenly, all my work has been replaced with a two-second loop of audio from somewhere within the last 10 seconds of audio. It's weird because the waveform shows my original audio, but the spectral frequency display shows what's actually being played. If I drop the .wav in Premiere, it only plays the loop. The same thing happens if I play .wav in a media player.I tried restarting all my Adobe programs, and my computer, but nothing has worked so far. Does anyone know what caused this? Is there any way to fix it? It would suck to lose all that work. Please help. Thanks!
I think I might be SOL on this one, but maybe someone with more experience can help me out here. I've attached a bit of the problem I'm having. It's not clipped, it's just got this distortion that I can't identify or figure out how to get rid of. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xt1s72decob652v/DonExample.mp3?dl=0
Hej community,I'm using Audition CC 2015 in Win 10 64bit and tried two different Interfaces: 1. M-Audio Fast Track 2. Zoom R16and after installing the latest drivers etc I got the same message for both:'Device could not be opened', which made AA snap back to the default ASIO driver (that doesnt work properly, only distorted sounds come out).Interesting: The R16 works fine with the rest of Windows and plays youtube videos etc through the interface.Sample Rates: AA denies my choice before there's anything to adjust. The R16 control panel says 44.1k (unchangable), the display on the R16 itself says the same until opening AA, then it says 96k. What's the deal with this? If this was the problem, AA would tell me about it, right?EDIT: The Zoom ASIO Driver works in FL Studio but only ticking the option "Mix in buffer switch", of which I don't understand, what it does. And the whole thing worked fine on an older laptop in Win10 32bit. Also on another laptop with Win7 64bit.Thanks for any answe
when selecting my language , it is coming that , it will be display language after next sign - inkindly help me to find the solution
I have found all sorts of information about reducing latency. I have tried most of it and I still have noticeable latency on my system. I do not care about reducing latency, I would just like to compensate for it. I can manually move each clip that I record back, but this is very cumbersome. How can I get the Adobe Audition to automatically shift each clip that I record back the appropriate amount to correct for latency?
I have Adobe Audition running on two computers. On one I cannot export a template. I get a message "Target Directory is not Writable" I can't seem to resolve the issue
Hi all,I've been using audition at work for a year on expensive and new PC built specifically for this purpose. I was using a Tascam US-4x4 interface, which was a little buggy but generally worked OK. Recently, the Tascam drivers updated, and I started having problems. I couldn't record using the interface, at the interference was so bad that the recorded audio was just glitching, cut up recordings of my voice. So, I used my USB Blue Yeti for a week while I waited for a new audio interface to arrive. I now have a solo Focusrite, which does work - but only on 200ms latency. If I reduce the latency in audition, the glitched recording comes back. And with 200ms latency, the waveform appears what feels like ages after I've spoken. I'm assuming it's a driver problem (although the focusrite uses different software) but I have no idea what else to try! Can anyone suggest anything? Thank you. Joe
Hi there, I've just bought PreSonus Faderport 2 controller, but it doesn't seem to work with Adobe Audition. Can anyone help? Thanks
Hi - not sure if anyone can help with this. I can't find anything very comprehensive online. I am trying to use a Presonus FaderPort 2 with Adobe Audition as a control surface. I have follwed Adobe's instructions on how to seelect this control surfae in the menu but the only control that works on the Fader Port is the motorised fader. I can't get any transport control or any other button functionality. I have contacted Adobe who suggested I contact Presonus and thet suggested it was a Adobe issue. Adobe suggest that it is possible to get full control but I'm stuck in the middle! Is there anyone out there sucessfilly using a FP2 with Audition CC 2020? Help much appreciated.
Is it true, we cannot change the color of these horizontal background lines, that follow the -3, -6, -9 loudness levels? These lines I would like to make more visible with a black background. Here I have selected a range of time, and they are more visible:Here with no selection, they are hard to see Nothing in this list seems to match the color of those lines..so I wonder if they can't be changed. Thanks for any help!
I need to return to my Volume levels display at the bottom of the Audition screen and not the spectrum color display. Can you help? Please email me when I can get help with this matter. THANKS. [Mod: it is Adobe policy not to allow personal email addresses in forum posts, so it has been removed.]
