HelloI need help to improve the vocal, an event talk from long ago.I did a normalize. I then did a noise reduction.I then found using Effects/Multi compressor/ Internet delivery - did help to improve slightly.I then attempted to use Filter/ Parametric Equalizer using notch 3 and 4. There I could make changes however the improvement was less than desirable.I would welcome a suggestion on how to improve this vocal that was aquired from a reel to reel tape recorded 1970. Let me know, thanks!https://youtu.be/s1pdzTtp7Lg
Why is Audition CC 2019 (a.k.a. 12.x) is missing from Thor (a.k.a. Creative Cloud Desktop)? The installed Adobe Audition CC is 2018, Build 11.1.1.3., on Windows 7 SP1 x64 Ultimate.
Hey y'all,I've recently picked up an ID14 and just realized, after like a month of recording, that I wasn't actually using the Audient ID14's native ASIO drivers. Now that I've switched over to them I can't seem to hear the playback on my monitor headphones plugged directly into the ID14. I can see the volume bar doing its thing in Audition 2019, but I'm not seeing it make it to the ID14's interface app on my desktop and I'm not getting any playback sound. I've done some googling but can't seem to find a clear answer on how to fix it. Any help on how to route the playback sound back through my monitors would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!
Hi, I'm starting a project in Adobe Audition with lot of stuff in.We jumped our Premiere Pro Project into Audition to make the sound design efficiently and I having an issue over imported elements. We got more than 100 tracks. Some elements at the middle of our film are just accelerated. The sound isn't sync to the image anymore cause the element is speed up. I really don't understand where this problem come from. I'll say that the problem start at the middle of the movie and long till the end of the film. When I check the loaded file with VLC, there is no problem at all. But in Audition, it's speed up. There is no effect on anything cause I'm just starting the session.I don't know what information to add...And my deadlines are terribly short for the lenght of the project, so, this is an SOS, I don't have the time to mess with a really anoying problem...Thanks.
In Audition, I want to listen to my audio at twice the speed, so I use the controls J, K, and L. When I fast forward with L, the audio sounds high-pitched like a chipmunk, and played in normal speed it goes back to sounding normal. However, I can't really process what is being said at x2 speed and am forced to choose to listen in normal time.My question: Is there a way I can listen to my audio at x2 speed but still keep the original pitch in tact? To clarify, I don't want the final product to be sped up. I just have a lot of audio to listen to, so I'd like to do that sped up, but still be able to understand what's being said. For example, there was an update in Premiere that lets you listen to the audio at x2 the speed and the pitch integrity remains the same and doesn't sound high. So is this something I can edit in Preferences for Audition, or is this an update that only Adobe can fix?I apologize if this question has already been answered, but I don't know how else to best phrase my q
This may seem strange but this is what I would like to do. I want to take my old landline phone handset and use it as the microphone so I can do live podcasts with a caller on that type of phone with that type of phone. cost does not matter. I know there is a way via USB but getting it to the phone is the issue.Thank you
Hello, I just recently purchased BM-800 microphone and Phantom Power. I wanted to enhance my voice over with the help of Adobe Audition CC 2019. But I'm having a hard time to migrate Adobe Audition voice to windows default mic voice. I already followed the steps on Adobe Audition to select my output and input. Also, I installed already VAC(virtual audio cable) and sets as default. I tried to speak on my BM-800 but there is no waveform on my default VAC.MIC: BM-800 with Phantom PowerOUTPUT: SteelSeries Siberia v2 Frost Blue
Hello,I am running Adobe Audition CC Build 12.0.0.241.I am wondering if a setting exists to remove the tooltip showing the clip name that is shown while hovering a clip in the multitrack editor. I am editing a podcast and having it pop up with information that is already known is frustrating since it only distracts and annoys me. I have been searching online and flipping settings that might be related to it, but nothing seems to work.
Hi everyone. I have a really annoying problem with one of the videos from my client. The main problem is that whenever I playback his video in the media players (such as default Windows media player, VLC) it sounds OK and without any clipping. When I import it to Audition, Premiere Pro, iZotope RX or playback it through online OneDrive or Dropbox player the audio becomes much louder and clipped. Here is also the link to the video OneDrive (It's really loud, be careful). The client has the same problem with video playback on his side, so I highly doubt that it has to do something with the audio setup. Is this has to do something with codecs? Or video was recorded/rendered improperly? And most importantly, how to fix this problem? Thanks everyone for the answers.
Hello everyone - Here is the dilemma... recently getting the supplies I need to start a podcast. I originally had the MackieProFX12V12 mixer and realized that it wasn't exactly compatible with Adobe Audition CC. Next I bought the Behringer XENYX Q802 mixer and also bought (4) phantom power units for the 4 condenser microphones I have. It worked but it only allows for (2) outputs into Audition when recording so (2) mics are going to have to share one output and I won't be able to mix each mic individually that way. What USB compatible mixer would anyone recommend that allows for AT LEAST (4) separate inputs into Audition so I can record all (4) mics separately at once? I do have an Apogee Duet interface if I needed to use that with another mixer but would prefer to keep it simple with a USB interface right into the computer since this podcast will be mobile and eliminate set up and breakdown time. Any suggestions???
Okay pros, I cannot find a way to clean this up. I know there has to be a dehum and noise reduction process done and I've done both but can't get any improvements. Ideas? https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkzbzAXZY89ClKZuL0JSqMYhNkoKhg
Audition CC Newbie here with a question. On a stereo track in Multitrack ... how does one pan both left and right on a single track?I'm used to Pro Tools where stereo tracks have both left and right panning knobs. I realize I could either use the Stereo Expander preset on a stereo track or set up two separately-panned mono tracks, but each presents challenges. Thanks for your help.
Hey,im blessed with a premiere Projekt that has 9 sequences all pretty finished with cutting the material.now i work on the audio tracks and a lot of them come from the same room/mic.i have reduced the background noise in Audition for the first clip and now i would like to add this noise reduction to all the other 100+ clips in my timelineat best in all sequences.anybody knows a way?or do i have to adjust every clip for hours now?
My setup is as follows: I have an Audio-Technica AT2035 microphone connected to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio interface, which is connected to my computer (Microsoft Windows 7). I use Adobe Audition 11.1.1.3 to enhance my microphone audio quality in real time: the input of Adobe Audition should be Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio interface, and the output should be a virtual audio cable that I can route to Skype/Dragon NaturallySpeaking/any other programs where I need to use the microphone. My current Adobe audition configuration is as follows:Even though the latency is configured to be 50 ms, in practice it is much higher (>300 ms), even if I disable all effects. I understand that MME seems to be notoriously slower than ASIO, however I cannot configure the output to be a virtual audio cable when using ASIO in Adobe Audition on Microsoft Windows.Another issue with using MME that if for some reason the CPU gets busy with some other process, one might experience dropout when the s
I see it's been a while since this has been addressed. Once in a blue moon I need to provide a CD master that is burned disk at once (DAO). And that time is now. CC2018 is what's on my Windows 7 machine. The answer isn't in the manual. I've searched. So.....does anyone know? I want to make a master for replication.Thank you so so much for sharing your knowledge. I pay the monthly fee for CC, so it would be nice to get this done via Audition rather than buying another app.If it doesn't do it, what's the best (read cheapest) solution. I've got Windows 7 and Mac 10.9.5.
Is this Adobe Audition Downloadable Content: Sound Effects, Music Loops, and more. down?I'd love to download some more sound effects but I can't seem to be able to.
Hi there,I am looking into buying a new audio interface to record vocals over my music. I have previously used pro tools and an MBOX which is now not compatible with newest mac OS. I'm hoping someone can recommend an easy to use interface that can plug into my iMac.I have looked into the focusrite scarlett 18i8 and apogee duet. I would like to spend less than 400 if possible. Thank you!
I was given a copy of Adobe CS2. The previous owner deactivated on his cpu prior to giving it to me. This copy is complete with all disks and serial #. When I installed the final disk , it prompted me to do a "phone activation" and to provide an activation code from it. I had no luck using the phone number. Customer service was less than helpful, basically saying, "CS2 is an old program. We no longer support it. Sorry. Ask the forums." I have every disk and with the serial. The only thing stopping me from using the program is this phone activation code. Am I really out of luck? Any help would be greatly appreciated. *Windows 10 OS
Hey fellow Audition users,I've been using the program for an eternity and only just started having this issue. Two or so updates ago, when I hit the record button to start to sing it automatically applies this echo to my vocals while I'm singing. It doesn't appear in the recording, only in my headphones while singing. It's SUPER annoying because it's alot of echo so it causes me to hear my vocals in a more delayed state.I used to be able to record 100% dry which is what I prefer. Any ideas on how to adjust the recording settings so that I hear my voice dry as I sing? Thanks a bunch!
Does anyone know of a technique to make your voice sound like you hear it vs what everyone else hears?I was asked to see if I could figure this out, but I don't know how to make it sound like its through bone. Thanks! Chris
How do I activate Audition 2
Hi, I've got an issue when I record with Audition 2018 in waveform mode. I obtain a file where the sound is... "accelerated". Here is what I've got recording with Audition, and here recording the same mix with a Tascam hardware. I checked the settings but I didn't notice anything unusual. Has anyone encountered a similar problem ? Thanks
Heya!I'm trying to organise a simple way to export a named range of files, based on their match volume properties, but the kicker is, i'd like to do the match volume readings based on only one of the channels. More info: I have some multichannel wav files of drum samples I recorded at my last recording session. The close mic'd channel for whatever drum was being hit at the time will obviously have the least delay and be the loudest in that specific clip. That is the channel id like to measure the match loudness reading for, and would like to batch rename the samples based on that channels volume, ordered from quietest to loudest. How would I go about doing so in an easy way? I've achieved it with alot of manual effort, but i feel there should be a better way I'm not thinking of. Cheers in advance.
I must be doing something wrong. With "Adjust track keyframes when performing ripple edits" selected, I can Insert Silence, and all the automation keyframes will be moved accordingly. Great. But when I instead do a Ripple Delete >Time Selection In All Tracks, the keyframes are not moved accordingly. Is this by design or is there a flaw somewhere? Or am I just doing something wrong?
When you Insert Silence into a session, automation keyframes on busses will move accordingly. Great. When you Ripple Delete Time Selection in All Tracks, automation keyframes on busses will not move accordingly. Not great at all. Like so: 20180712 125005 - YouTube If there's some advantage to making this work this way, I can't imagine it. But it'd be great to at least have an "Adjust track keyframes when performing ripple edits in busses" option in Preferences > Multitrack
