Hey the Adobe Audition software (3.0) was working fine, had a power outage & with all appearing to be back to normal, was surprised that we now can't hear audio within the AA software. We can hear all desired audio if we play thru Windows media, but NOT when we try to play using the AA software. Is there possibly something in settings i need to check? Any suggestions please?
Hi,I've created a podcast in Adobe Audition CC 2018 and it's ready to go. However the podcast itself finishes after 13 minutes, but the clip continues to run until 18 minutes. I don't want all of that dead space at the end I just want a neat 13-minute podcast. How do I trim the clip down and get rid of the extra space? Thanks,Alice
Previous recordings have come out sounding fine, my most recent one is a mess. I've thrown on a Vocaroo link to a clip of the afflicted audio. I'm thinking it's a sample rate problem but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any experience with a similar sounding issue, and is this audio salvageable? It's fine if it's not, but I really want to know what the problem is so I can avoid it in future. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!https://vocaroo.com/i/s06kUm9iokss
I am now getting a can't write to disk error in audition on my work computer (PC CC2015) and my personal lap top (PC CC2019). So there is not a chance this a hardware problem.
Hi everyone! I'm an Audition newbie! I recorded a conversation on my phone for my podcast and got the MP3, then edited out parts I didn't want on Audition. When I hit save, I got the warning that it's being saved to a compressed (lossy) format. The First time, I hit ok, and the audio that was saved was nearly unusable. So now I've re-edited it, and I can't figure out how to save it without ruining it. Any help would be amazing, thank you in advance!
I always run Audition on two screens, probably due to a failure on my side the keyboard panel and other audition messages appear on my second screen instead of the first. Can't find the solution in the preferences or on this forum, does anybody know the solution? Thanks for reading and answering! Regards, René
Greetings,I need to purchase a compatible Adobe Audition audio interface that will allow me to do some audio routing. What I'm am trying to do is, use the buss sends to send my audio signal to some outboard gear I have (i.e.analog EQs, etc.) then I need to be able to route the signal back into Audition for monitoring/recording. As a result I will need the audio interface to have a fast connection, perhaps like firewire.Any suggestions?Dylan
I've tried bouncing the final mixdown on multiple sessions now and they all end up missing the entire beginning of the song. Is this a bug? The mix that's there soundsperfectly fine except for the long gap of silence in the beginning. I had the trial and recently purchased the product thinking it might be a limitation of bouncing mixdownswithin the trial version.
So they said that there wouldn't be midi for the Studiolive 32 series 3 mixer, but there is a midi through network setting and now the midi controls....the issue is everytime I run Audition the mixer freezes. Anyone else having this issue?
An audio friend of mine re-found svhs adat tapes with original recordings of his own shows in the nineties. They synchronized three adats machines to make a 24 track recording possible. I only have one adat machine and an eight-channel analog/digital (adat/spdif) interface and which brings these eight tracks separated in real-time to audition perfectly. So I could do this copy action in three parts in a row to get the 24 tracks into one multitrack session. My question is how do I get these three tapes 100% synchronized into one Adobe Audition Multitrack session? How is the copying/synchronizing of the timecode or any other sync code done? Where/how can I read (about) this?. Does anyone has some experience with this? Thanks for reading and answering.
I was doing a Fade In and Fade Out using Adobe Audition CC. I noticed that the only way to reverse the Fade In or Fade Out was to go to the History and select the previous Fade version. Is this the only way to undo a Fade In and Fade Out?
When recording in Audition and then playing back, the audio sporadically increases and decreases in volume through the track.I am using Audition with a MacBook Pro and a Behringer U Phoria UMC202HD - I have bought a USB to USB C Adapter to connect the interface to the Mac and a new cable.I also have a Rode NT1A Microphone and took all of the above gear (aside from the mic) to my wedding recently to play videos. I'm unsure if something was damaged on the day as was all working fine before then.Unsure where to start in terms of troubleshooting and would really appreciate some advice.I have also heard crackling which is normally caused by me packing down and switching the gear off in turn. Thanks in advanceGareth
I am trying to incorporate Skype as an audio source on a separate audio track in a multitrack recording on my Windows 10 computer.Going through previous Posts, I discovered and downloaded VAC. Now I'm trying to follow the instructions on the Example section and I just can't figure out how to do what the directions ask: In Skype, how do I assign recording/input to Virtual Cable 1 and assign playback/output to Virtual Cable 2? Do I need Skype for Business? The rest of the directions seem as challenging as this first one.I would greatly appreciate some help in walking through the steps for how to do this!
Hi there!I've had a lot of trouble with Audition being slow to react to me moving or trimming clips. I had thought it was just a bottleneck with my 2017 MBP but I just upgraded to the base model iMac Pro (3.2Ghz Xeon W, 32GB ram, Radeon Vega 56 8GB) and I'm still having the same issue.Granted, it's not as bad as before, but coming from using ProTools and Logic for the past decade (never had the same issue, even on old crappy machines), I'm confused as to why Audition is having so much trouble just moving or cutting a region.Any ideas out there?
I am editing audio from premiere (Edit in Adobe Audition). All effects and volume/pan info are removed in settings before export. I add my effect stack in Audtion and play back... sounds great during live preview. On save/export (Mixdown > Stereo). The clip has a very noticeable 1second ramp up in volume. It start quiet and increases to where I had set it. How do I prevent this from happening? Why am I not hearing it until export?
Hi! New to Audition and audio in general, so please forgive the noobishness...I'm noticing that during playback of my audio clips in Multitrack (in my headphones and through speakers) the "placement" of stereo sound starts to change in-between cuts of the audio and from one audio clip to the next (in the same track, or to another track). When I pause playback and start again, it's fine for a time (random) but upon encountering cuts between clips, the "imaging" (for lack of better term) becomes incorrect. It's also noticeable when I apply a plugin to a track, say, pitch shifter or EQ.If I highlight multiple clips and "mixdown session to new file --> selected clips", I can listen (and apply FX) to the clips with no stereo placement weirdness in the waveform window. I can save the combined clips out to a single .wav file and re-import to the multitrack session, and the stereo weirdness begins again as I playback the newly combined audio clip -- so I'm assuming it's a multi-track playba
I‘m running a nature track through a bus to EQ and noise reduction out some wind noise. But when the track starts playing, the effects fade in over the first second or so. Why are my effects not starting at the beginning of the track? Thanks!
When i import a video clip into Audition, is it possible to trim it's start and end points?

I do not know how change the size of my document. When I go to Transform or Free Transform is gives me a box saying that "initial bounding rectangle is empty". How do I get the rectangle to not be empty.Gayle
Laut CPU Auslastung liegt Audition
I have an intermittent problem where my audition will be recording audio fine - no background noise and clear audio. The audio wave will look like the picture below. You can see in the quiet parts there's no interference..Then I'll close the program and come back to it later and when i try to record again it's suddenly picking up background noise and the audio will sound tinny and distant. The audio wave looks like the picture below here. The problem just pops up out of nowhere and it won't go away until i turn the computer off and leave it for a few days. I know that sounds ridiculous but it's the only thing that makes it stop. It's a seemingly random problem. I'm recording through a Neewer W-700 michrophone and a behringer UMC22.
Danke!
I was on with Adobe support and had to revert back to 11.1 because regardless of the file put in Audition (Purchased recording, recorded local) it had major static in the playback mode. This happened regardless of audio output devices used. When I take these files and play them in iTunes or put then premiere as part of the project do not have this issue. I am on a MacBook pro with OS Mojave. Anyone else running into this issue?
