Hello.Since I'm new to Audition this question might be stupid, but I couldn't find right answer, so:I have 500 separate tracks (lets call them track001, track002, track003 etc.) and 2 additional track I would like to repeat.What I want to achieve is to process files to join them by pattern:addition1, track001, addition2, addition1, track002, addition2, addition1, track003, addition2, addition1, track004, addition2, addition1, track005, addition2, addition1, track006, addition2, addition1, track007, addition2, addition1, track008, addition2, addition1, track009, addition2, addition1, track010, addition2And I would like to create 50 files by that pattern from my base 500 files.Is there a possibility to automate such process?Best regards,Marcin
Hi, People,This is really starting to bug me and I need to solve it for my work.Whenever I export a WAV > m4a a gap is always added on to the end of the loop, thus breaking the seamless loop that I started with. Is there a way/can you export to m4a without this gap being introduced? I've done lots of reading and think it could be metadata being added on; if this is the case, is there a setting I need to check or uncheck for this not to be added and my loop remaining seamless?Thank you in advance.Sine Monkey.
Hi - I am new to Audition CC 2018 and ACX. I am currently trying to get my submission ready, but am having difficulty in figuring out a few things:How do I get these measurements correct?I realize that noise floor is more about the sound in the recording room, but how do I make sure that the dB are at the correct levels?I've researched and it seems to have something to do with compressing, but I could be wrong.measure between -23dB and -18dB RMS and have -3dB peak values and a maximum -60dB noise floorIf another ACX-er could supply a quick step by step tutorial, I would be so very grateful! Let me know if you need other info from me.
I have a 24 inch wide straight across edge of screen to edge of screen not diagonal across, Its 3840 x 2160. I have it set on 250%.I click new file, click new audio the box that comes up says new audio F... and is less than 2 inches wide by actual measurement on my computer screen, I can not read or do anything because it is so small. I have been running 1920 by 1080 to be able to everything in Audition come out where I can read and do something with it.I am setting up to make some educational videos and want the maximum quality that I can get. What do I do where I can run 3840 x 2160 display settings and be able to read and record the popup box and other areas of Audition I can not read or work with now?I clicked update and said Audition is the latest version.ThanksFrankModerator note: Title changed to reflect issue.
When exporting audio of selected range markers to separate files in Audition there are a number of export options. For sample type, I need 44100 Hz Mono, 16-bit. However, Audition always changes the Bit Depth to 32-bit (float). Does anyone else have this issue with bit depth changing on export? All my files are set up and saved at 16-bit.
after searching the forums and online I guess using a talkback mic with audition isn't an option? which really sucks if so. I tried using mine on my presonus studio live mixer and It doesn't seem to work. so im wondering..if I just hookup this dynamic mic to a different mic channel in my studiolive mixer..and then use that channel in a track in audition to feed to the vocalist would it work the same way? the mic has an on and off switch..so I could just turn it on when needed. Im hoping it would work since it would pretty much be the same setup as the vocal mic except it would sit on my desk in the control room....ive also heard about this app call MOTU..mark of the unicorn..thats suppose to solve this issue. has anyone had any experience with it??
Hello all. I'm working in Audition CS6. I'm working on music in the multitrack window. I am editing the tracks and selecting the best takes. There are white vertical lines at seemingly erratic intervals while I edit. I find them distracting and not very useful. Especially as I don't know what they are or represent.I have tried to find a way to hide/turn off but can't figure it out. I have tried a Google and forum search but had not luck.I have attached an image. I'm talking about the white vertical line that cross each track. Thanks
Hello,I really don't understand what is happening. I've been using adobe audition a few times before and never had any issues with this. But today, everytime I want to select a part of my sêctral form to only hear the part that I selected, I hear the whole frequency, and not only the small part that I selected. Did I click on button or something ?Another thing that has been weird today is that when I try to push the buttons to zoom in or out inside the frequencies, it doesn't let me neither. I can zoom in and out in the clips sections but not in the herz section.I really don't know what is happening 😕😕If someone can help, please let me knowHave a great day,Fanette
Hello everyone.I have not been working with Audition for a while. Would you please explain the different between these Two.Thank you very much.
HelloI have Audition CS6 5.0.2 & USB Audio Interface with ASIO drivers, so I am working in Multi-track mode, there are like 10 tracks and on some of them there are pretty "heavy" VST effects (applied in section, including Guitar Rig VSTs, also build-in "Full reverberation", which is marked with red color) - all these make real-time playback and recording unbearable, with all effects enabled. For some reason, switching off the effects (green button) won't help, since he's still assessing to them - in my case, I don't know why, as far as they loaded in the rack. Only removing all "heavy" effects from the rack completely will help to get rid of dropouts, stuttering, etc. I know that "M" button is only muting the track, while he is still used in the playback, although not hearable. Is there a way to temporally exclude(grey out or something) a track from playing in Multi-track mode without deleting it completely, with all the effects properly set, etc.? Thank you.
Whenever I try to play any audio from the edit view OR multitrack it doesn't seem to want to work. An error message pops up and then when I click out of it, it proceeds to look like it's going to play, but it does so without any sound. I have all the correct audio options selected so I'm not sure if it's a driver issue or if it's just an Adobe issue. Hopefully there's a quick fix as I have too many specific plugins that I've fine tuned to my liking over the years. Thanks! Here is the error message.
Dear Au3 community - I´ve just encountered a problem during a routine file export not previously experienced.I mixed a multi-track session to a stereo .wav file and the file automatically opened in the edit window display as it should. I then selected the whole file and clicked the "save as" option. This as all users will know opens a dialogue box where a range of codecs are available and in this instance I wished to save the file to the desktop as an mp3 @ 320kbps.I highlighted the Fraunhofer mp3 option and to my surprise saw *WAV; mp3 as the codec - when surely it should read .mp3 only. Saving the file resulted as you would expect as a .wav file and not the desired mp3. I have no idea how this can have happened - my Au3 folder resides on the C drive and the only thing that happens are the usual Microsoft updates - nothing drastic. Would anyone else perhaps have had this problem arise? Would someone who uses the same version of Au3 do me the immense favor of looking at that drop
When I play a selected area of a waveform, the playhead either continues past the end of the selection area, or if the selection is that the end of the file, the playhead jumps to the start of the file after playing. I would like to have it loop within the selection area. I have "Return playhead to start position" unchecked in Prefs, and also have it unchecked in the Play button menu. Could anyone please tell me how to set this up in Audition? Thank you for your help!
I'm recording audio from LPs with Audition on a MacBook 17" (Mid-2010, standard sound card) through a McIntosh MP-100 phono amp (which, oddly enough, only has "high" and "low" output levels - it's set to high). I'm recording 24-bit 96kHz audio, but my recording levels are only around -6 to -10, which is quite low. It may just be the limitation of the phono amp, but I thought I'd ask and see if there might be anything I'm missing within Audition that will allow me to record at higher levels without losing quality? And another question I have is, does boosting levels in Audition effect quality? Thank you for your help!
I have tried 50,000 different ways to get the effects that I have used on tracks to render at mixdown and export. The effects just disappear at that point. I am using adobe and wavestune VST3. They work fine during playback and while mixing. I wish there were a simple APPLY EFFECTS button. Please help... super frustrated.Allen[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from generic Cloud/Setup forum to the specific Program forum... I'm looking for a way to simply gain- or lower the clip volume by a key stroke (actually on an Avid hardware controller ) simply a +1 dB or -1 dB button just because I really dont like to fiddle with the mouse to modify each clip In a multitrack session.in waveform view I can record a favorite and apply that with a keystroke but this seems not to work in multitrack.maybe possible by the new "script" option? I haven't figured that out yet.ultimately the same question for symmetric fades. So, with the push of a button add more or less fade to a clip in multitrack.
Hi everyone! I could really use your help..I'm trying to record on Audition using my PreSonus 22VSL AudioBox interface. now the interface it self seem to work, I can hear perfectly on my headphones and the meters on the VSL are working fine. In Audition i made sure that i choose it in audio hardware but for some reason the meters on audition wont react and i cant seem to record any sound what so ever. please help me here! tnx
Hi all, We've been running into a problem more and more recently that I'm trying to find an answer to, but can't, and was wondering if you could help. We do a lot of interviews and we have been getting a static click sporadically throughout the interview (maybe every 15 secs) and I'm trying to figure out if it's the mic, the cables, the a-box, or the cameras. It's not a huge problem, they are easily healed away, but I'd like to know why it's happening and why it's seemingly getting worse. We are getting it on both cameras. Running two shotguns (Sennheiser MKH's) into two Red Scarlets W's via A-boxes. Both have these clicks. We also run a lav, but that's been clean. The good news is the clicks don't sync up. Is this just the nature of the beast? They look like a couple pixel hard red line that runs the extent of the Spectral Freq Display. I'm a self learned audio person, and try to find the answers online from other peoples questions before admitting my noobness to the masses, but
I was trying to record over a instrumental but I notice it plays fine when I play it by itself but when I play it with mic plugged in it says "dropped samples detected"I need help its not the beat itselfs and I tried on 2 computers in my house and it does the same thing (I don't know if it means anything but its an hp laptop and a hp desk top that was used)
A client requires that an interviewee’s voice be disguised in post production for a radio podcast. What effects do you recommend? Is it possible to make the pitch effect monotone by removing modulation?Does time stretch affect pitch?
i recently had to reinstall my audition cs6 and cant remember how to get rid of the default "crosshairs". i want the red vertical line to move to wherever i click on the screen. i can't where to change that setting. i also need it for highlighting
I use this program at work, and at home. At work, it never happens. At home it does. I purchased Adobe Audition CC each month. It works great. This issue I have works on my laptop PC or my work computer or my Mac...no matter where I use them...at this home or someone elses.I bought a new microphone and it does the same thing...so it's not the cables or microphone. I'll be recording and during playback I'll get a quick pop...I HAVE to go back and re record that part again. It sounds just like a quick pop. I don't know how else to explain it.I have a brand new super fast harddrive. It still does it.I wondered if maybe I have something set up within the program that is not quite right, and is causing the system to temporarily choke?Any ideas?
Hi, something that is driving me crazy is, for certain clips, being unable to adjust a clip's volume without creating an automation point! Sometimes I just want to move the entire volume line up or down without automating anything, but whenever I click on the line to do so, it automatically creates a point. I wish there was something like in premiere, where you can switch to an automation tool when you know you want to automate. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? Again, it is only certain clips. I don't understand the pattern. Thanks
Hello,I recorded some voice over in Audition CC. I saved it last night as *wav. Today I opened them in order to continue working with them: mixing, equalizing, whatever... when listening to them I noticed the the tune of my voice is Lower! Let's say that originally was in "G" but now I heard it in F# or F. Hos did it Happened? I have some explanations:1. When I saved them last night, I moved something regarding the tune or speed, so they got distorsion without my acknowledge.2. It's more related to the monitoring. So, in the interface is something regarding the tune that makes the file to be heard like that. But, when I opened those WAV files with another player, they are still LOWER. 3. What did I do wrong without notice?I guess I have to record again everything! I saw the options of Effects > Tunes and timing >.. so, manually I can correct, but... if there is something that affects to all the files at the same time, I can try it. Otherwise, better record again. Suggestions plea
I am trying to export a podcast and everytime I do a mixdown of the entire session the file has saves doesn't have the interview or sound effects on it. It's just the music bed? What am I doing wrong?
