Audition

When opening an audio file for editing with Adobe Audition 2023 from within Premier Pro 2023, Audition cannot read the file as it shows it is corrupted. Workaround is to open the audio file directly into Audition and then import the edited file back into Premier Pro. 

he tenido varias falla con Audition, e incluso en diferentes dispositivos no funciona bien, en algunos no sirve el botón de Play, lo que me incapacita para trabajar ay que nisiquiera avanza para reproducir el audio, en otros cuando coloco algún efecto se borra parte del audio que estoy trabajando, antes no pasaba esto, ya desinstalé e instalé varias veces el programa sin exito para solucionar el problema e incluso instalé versiones anteriores y sigo con esos problemas 

Hello, I've got two issues with markers in exported files since I upgraded to the first 2023 version.  I have a job that requires I put a marker at 00:00, and if I try to export a file between markers further along in the time code, it will always add that 00:00 marker to the file.  Sometimes it's layered behind the first marker in the time selection I'm exporting, sometimes it's staggered a little ahead. The second issue is I receive files back from my employer who use markers to make notes for corrections in Twisted Wave, and none of the markers will show up in the multitrack view, only dotted lines, and markers will not populate in the markers list section. When I was using Audition 2022 this was not an issue.  Is there a way to fix or get around these problems?

Hi folks, I am Brandon out of Dallas Texas.  I recently paid someone to record a brief live performance.The hired person sent the video and audio file back as an MP4.  However, the vocals are not loud enough because I plugged the mic into input 2 on the PA and the mixer with all the intruments into input 1 on the PA.The hired person  recorded video straight out of the 2 XLR outs on the mixer, thus mainly recording all the intruments superbly, but the vocals are lacking since I had plugged the mic into input 2 on back of PA.Does anyone here think they can successfully raise the vocals in the MP4 file a smidge without comprimising everything else?  I'd be happy to pay for it.  Please email me at <email address removed> or text me at <phone number removed> if you are interested.  Im VERY new to Audition and could not seem to make my desired results happen. HiIm new to adobe audition and  I have this audio track of my grandfather meditating on a single word and wanted anyones ideas of the best effects i could use to give it an enhanced listening experience. And a more proffesional finish in anyway possible (if that makes any sense) I dont want to put any echo, but anything to make it sound perhaps more clearer with a bit of bass and if any reduction of background sounds,  Any suggestions or help will be much appreciated

hican i create a selection in spectral view accurately , i mean using the keyboard keys and only the dragging with the mouse ?and is there a way to know accurately HZ maybe in the selection view panelthanks 

What is the difference between "open" and "import" in Audition?

I tried opening a session file but it kept crashing. After trying with other sessions, I found out that it was due to a video being in the session. This happened across multiple sessions where I inserted multiple videos. I've tried updating graphics drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled Audition, used Adobe cleaner tool. Nothing seems to stop it from crashing.

Hi everyone.  I am not compute savvy at all so forgive me.  I created secer multi tracks and then saved them.  When I export them to mp3 the time of the track changes.  For example I got the track in the program at 55 minutes but after export it is 52.  I have no dead air before or after so why does it do that?  Any help?

Hi, dear colleagues. I noticed that when editing audio in Waveform view the spectrogram draw (render) performance is slower while working with longer files. For example when editing an interview or a podcast I delete a section, than drag the view forward using middle click, and the time needed for the view to refresh is in positive correlation to audio duration.Also, it's getting slower the more edits are done, so by the end of editing a 50-minute episode the view draw is falling down significantly, and if I just close and re-open the file - it is fast again. This is very strange, especially on a very fast NVMe with around 4000MB/s seq. read speed. Also, if you open the Task Manager on the CPU performance tab and drag the audio in Audition using middle click back-and-forth - only one Physical core is being loaded, around 25%, and the GPU isn't used at all. I can confirm this on four different processors, and on 2 versions of Audition, so this is just as it works and

Hi all. This is my first time using Audition to record and edit a podcast I am working on. So far I have had zero issues working with this and have recorded several episodes successfully now. I always work in Multitrack, I have two voice tracks and one music bed. This time around I was working on a Multitrack edit and all was going well, but for some reason the exact moment I finished I saved the episode and very noticable white noise/static/hiss developed behind the audio and is just a constant hiss throughout the entire track. I've been trying to trouble shoot and I cannot for the life of me figure out what is wrong, the audio files sound fine in .wav form by themselves but when they are on Multitrack they have the audio hiss behind them. I tried opening up previous recordings that did not have the hiss when I last worked on them and they have developed it too. Is this a glitch within Adobe Audition? The previous files I opened did not used to have the hiss and just opening them up o

I was alerted to this issue by my podcast host Captivate graciously correcting it when uploading MP3s to them, and it seems to have been an issue since early April 2023. The duration of an MP3 saved in the metadata seems to be a few seconds shorter than the actual length of the audio file. This can quickly be seen when opening a file in Audition itself, or any other app. This doesn't cause problems for most apps - they'll simply play back the file anyway - but it confuses podcast hosts and anyone else who might create players based on the metadata. As a result of this, it's causing extra work for these companies. I'm using Audition 23.3.0.55 on MacOS 12.6.5. I've created MP3s from Audition using both the Match Loudness process and directly saving through the File dialogue and seen the same results - duration metadata seen through "Get Info" on MacOS is consistently inaccurate.

I've purchased and downloaded adobe audition 1.5 on my computer. It's been working great. But this morning when I went to record a new session, although the timer runs like it's recording it is not recording. Playback button won't work and the cursor won't move like it does when it's recording. It plays existing files without a problem. But even if I try to record over an existing file it won't do it. I'm guessing it's a settings issue but I don't know where to find that particular one. Please advise         

I'm editing a multitrack session, and suddenly I keep getting "Detected Dropped Samples" alerts and all of my audio is choppy. When I open individual clips in Waveform, it sounds perfect, but in Multitrack it's awful.  I'm pretty sure I wasn't having this issue until I upgraded my OS to the latest Catalina, so perhaps that's a culprit?  Below are my audio hardware settings. I had changed the buffer size to 1024 after doing a little research into the issue, but that's not helping. Only inputs are System Default and Movavi Sound Grabber. Any thoughts? Running on a 2012 Mac Mini, with following specs:OS: macOS Catalina Ver 10.15.7Processor: 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Intel i5Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Again - was not having issues whatsoever, until after I upgraded my OS. Would reverting back to an earlier OS (if possible) solve the issue? 

Hi, I'm new to all of this. I am trying to run a diagnostics on a video to eventually filter out silences. I will import the markers from the extracted audio in Audition to the video file in Premiere. So, when I try to set up the Diagnostic tool and run the scan, it appears that the sileces are not being correctly picked up. I'm sure it's a PEBCAK error, but I don't know enough to figure out wher I'm going wrong.I THINK I am setting it to find any section of the file that is below -65 dB for longer than 300ms, and so this area of silence at around the 13 second mark should count? But when I scan, it is including that in the Audio section for that marked portion. What am I doing wrong? 

Hello I recently installed  Super massive by Valhalla.And when I open it in audition there are no graphics.Actually when i first open it ,the plugin window is blank and when i close/open it only shows the Sliders of the plug in.In other software it works fine.I havent test it in another computer running auditionRunning on Asus LaptopProcessor AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHzInstalled RAM 16,0 GB (15,4 GB usable)Windows 10 Thank you in advance

Hi there,I can't move clips along the timeline - but I can move a clip from one track to another. But thesame timeline. This happens when I work on my MacBook Pro (some keys were damagedby liquid; I use an external keyboard and blue tooth-linked mouse).When I edit the same video project on PC - I work normally and do not have this problem.BTW: The same happens when I use Adobe Premiere.Any ideas about what's wrong with moving the clips on MacBook? Hi All!  I am creating a series of podcasts for my organization. I will be interviewing guests in the same room with me. I have 2 XLR mics going into a Yamaha MX12GU digital mixer. MIC 1 (XLR Input 1) is hard panned left (Host).  Mic 2 (XLR Input 2) is hard panned right (Guest).  The onboard mixer meter supports this.  I need my guest's audio to be on a separate channel from my audio. The problem is both mics are being recorded on the left channel and both mics are also being recorded on the right channel. This is true whether I'm using Audition or Audacity.  No matter how I map the channels, the problem persists. I have tried XLR outputs from the mixer to a USB cable into my laptop's USB port, XLR outputs from the mixer to a 1/8 inch stereo mini pin into an external sound card plugged into my laptop's USB port, and also a USB cable from the mixer's USB out to my laptop's USB port.  I only have USB inputs on my laptop.  I'm stuck with the equipme

If you have a track locked in premier and you use the edit>edit in audition>sequence. And you send that to audition, and then you select all that audio, and you copy and paste it into a new/existing mix the track that was locked in premier won't paste it in the correct spot in time, and it gets all weird when you try to move it,

The skip selection tool was working properly as of yesterday, but now when I try to use it it skips over the selection, but there's a lag before it starts playing the audio after it, and that audio is choppy. The audio itself is fine, it's just when I use the skip selection tool. I updated to the most recent version, 22.6.0.66 and am having the same issue. iMac, osx Big Sur 11.2.3. Please advise, thanks!

Hola te hago una consulta, cuando abro mi proyecto creo el multipista, como hago para por ejemplo: en "archivo" crear sub carpetas, drum, guitars, bass, voices, chorus, etc. asi queda todo organizado por carpetas dentro de archivo de audition,  porque no encuentro la forma de organizar esa cuestión.
