Audition

Ik ben nieuw in Audition en ben t programa aan t ontdekken. Ik werk op een Acer laptop omdat ik audition wil gebruiken om een podcast mee te maken. Wanneer ik een audiobestand in een multitrack of waveform zet (in het music bed spoor) en het afspeel gaat t niet goed. De muziek valt sowieso weg en de stemmen hoor je af en toe maar dan heel blikkerig en haperend. Wanneer ik de multitracksessie exporteer om op te slaan als mixdownbestand dan is de audio wel weer goed te horen.Inmiddels met meerdere tips en mensen aan de slag geweest maar niks haalt iets uitspeakers zijn oker staan geen rare effecten aanAudition opniew geinstalleerd maakt niet uitAudition gedraaid op mijn pc daar gaat het wel goedIn preferences staat alles goedWie heeft voor mij de tip waarmee ik wel verder kan?Alvast dank voor het reageren

I've recently come up against a bug I can't seem to fix through various setting changes. When I add a new play marker or delete an existing one, it moves the screen view to the beginning of the audio I'm editing. The playhead remains the same, but this then results in the screen view jumping back and forth every time I add a marker which makes for a very frustrating edit. I've reset to factory settings, and changed things like "return playhead to start position on stop" and various other playback settings, but have got stuck. Any help / support is much appreciated, video file is attached to show the error. ThanksPete

Hi All, just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue.I purchased a copy of Adobe Audition CS6 about 8 years ago. For some strange reason it has just reverted back to trial mode. When I try and re-register, it simply tells me that it can't connect to the internet (every time). I have a perfectly active connection, so I can't work out what is going on. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what did you do to fix? Thanks!  

This error cannot use right clicked to do anything including add tracks. When I want to use the right click. This warning will be popped out...So if you have some ideas to fix this problem, please help thank you very much.  

Hello! I'm trying to stretch an audio file in Adobe Audition using Effects - Time and Pitch, but as a result, the sound frequency changes, it turns out something like 5-10 kHz. Why is this happening and is there a way to stretch the sound without losing the original quality (~22 kHz)? Thank's!

I record music performances just about every weekend. They are typically 2-3 sets of 1.5hrs each. After mixing, I need to chop up the stereo file to separate about 40 songs and export them as mp3 files. I have a process for this that is slightly tedious, but I've gotten pretty quick with it. This is typically rock music, so it's pretty easy to visually see the start and end of songs which helps a lot. After a recent Audition update, I noticed that every time I create a new marker range (using the "m" key shortcut), the selection area snaps all the way back to the beginning of the file - it used to stay in place. This makes me have to drag/scroll all the way back to where I left off in order to create the next marker range as opposed to just scooting to the right a little bit.  First question: Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to revert back to Audition's previous default where it would level the selection area alone as opposed to snapping to the beginning o

Hi, I recently purchased the ZOOM UAC-232 that can record files up to 32 bit float, which means that the audio cannot clip, even when it goes beyond 0dB. This function works as intended in Pro Tools and Reaper projects, but it doesn't in Audition (which is my main DAW for work). In Audition, I create a new file or a new multitrack session in 32 bit float and I record with the ZOOM UAC-232 clipping the audio, but when I normalize it the clips remains. The audio driver is the ZOOM UAC-232 Asio driver, which is the same I used in my tests in Pro Tools and Reaper, and I use Audition 23.3. My questions are: 1) Why the audio clips if I record 32 bit float audio in a 32 bit float file?2) Is there something I can do/ Is it a limitation of Audition at the moment?3) If it is a limitation, would it be feasible for Adobe to make Audition support "real" 32 bit float recording? Thank you for your kind attention

Hi there friendly helpful Audition Hive Mind! I'm writing in seeking guidance/support on a new issue I've begun running into on the reg in Audition that I'm trying to figure out/troubleshoot. Here's a link to a YouTube video that demos the issue described below:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy1jm5Bx7dE I've applied DeNoise to a track, but then after ~20 seconds of continuing work/usage, DeNoise stops working.  If I remove DeNoise from the Effects Rack, and add it again, it once again functions properly, but then after a short period of time, it will AGAIN stop working, as depicted in the video. 😞  I can't tell if there's something I'm doing that's making DeNoise stop working. This happens in projects VERY often; it's not tied to this specific project.  It also happens to different tracks within the same project.  Audition version: 23.3MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 Quitting and restarting Audition doesn't resolve the issue.  Restarting my la

Hello, As I didn't get any answer in the French section, I try my luck here.I have about 2500 audio files to process (recorded words or sentences) and I would like to apply the same normalization and noise reduction on each file.Processing them individually is a possibility, but it would take a long time!Is it possible to normalize and apply noise reduction to all these files (or in batches to make it less cumbersome) in one go?If so, how?It would save me a lot of time! Thank you in advance for your answers which I hope will be positive!

 Good day!  During my 'Corona Cleaning', I came across an old version of Audition 3.0.  It is/was shrinkwrapped and has a seriel number. 1.) When I installed, it prompted me to activate over the internet.  I got a message that said: "Audition Server Unavailable". 2.) When I called the phone number to activate by phone, the recording said they do not allow activation by phone anymore.  And led me to this page:  https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html3.) I went to my free Adabe account, and made sure my account listed Adobe Audition 3.0 with the seriel number.4.) I still get the message in the software that my 'trial' will end in 30 days. Can someone suggest a way to use this software, and get it activated?

Hi, I have creative cloud.I would like to make a persons voice sound deeper.The male persons voice is high pitched and I would like to make some subtle changes to make the voice deeper.I have Audition, After Effects, Premiere Pro I have played around with many presets but I am unable to get a deeper voice. Can anyone help me Thanks

I was in the process of increasing the decibel level on a portion of my file.  In the process, I accidentally clicked some thing and I don't know what. Now when I hit play it scrolls through my way file which is visible, but there is no audio and the decibel level display does not show any decibels being played.  It is only happening on the one file that I was editing at the time. All other files are playing correctly.  I am praying that there is a way to bring this back. Please let me know so that I can get this episode released. Thank you in advance for everybody's help. 

I'm using the latest version of Audition on Mac OS Ventura 13.3.1. Audition will not stop crashing when I use external plugins. I have plenty of RAM and diskspace, but Audition is crashing constantly and it's making me want to get another DAW.  

Not sure if anyone else has or had this issue. But my Markers in the marker window are never visible unless I cut a clip. And even then, the second I do any other command they dissapear again. I dont know if this is a simple fix or a bug problem.

Hi!Sorry for multiple posts, I'm not very familiar with this community. This should be a feature request. I love to work with a DAW controller and Audition (Win10 Pro + CC 23), I get better results for complex projects with this combination. But as I see now, we can't move the keyframes associated to the clip in the multitrack view. It seems that the keyframes ar asscociated to  the timeline, not the clip, wich I think is some kind of nonsense. As it seems that there's know way to get the keyframes associated to their clips I would suggest that Adobe solves this problem. Other way I won't pay for the one year license after the trial period ends.Thanks!

I've been using audition for a decade now on PC. Now having two kids I am not able to get to my PC to do some of my audio work when I am home, so my idea is to get a good laptop to take to work with me that will run the current version of audition with zero problems. What is out there that will perform well without possibly breaking the bank. My intention is to use a 4TB external hard drive to keep my mixes on and open projects from there, and when Im finished with something, transfer it to my PC for post production when I can get to it. Also a wireless mouse and possibly a Number Pad combo. Thanks NOTE: Not looking to get into MacBooks.  ~DJ Invasion

I found some old Audition sessions from version 1.5 on an old hard drive that I want to upload and remaster. I use a Macbook Pro running Mac OS 11.7.2 I purchased and downloaded ses2sesx in order to convert the old ses files and make them work for the current version of Adobe. Unfortunately, having bought the software it now looks like Adobe Exchange is trying to tell me it won't run on a mac. Is there anyway to get it to work or do I need to request a refund?

Hi!I've got a problem with the sample rate configured in the preferences. First of all:Windows 10 Pro, Audition 2023, sound device: Roland Rubix 24.The hardware preferences are configured with Asio, the Roland Rubix is selected. This setup worked great with Audition CS6. With 2023 I always have to go to hardware preferences and change the sample rate manually to 41.000 to get a correct sound of the file, even if it's in 48.000 hz.I have to do this each time I open Audition, even if at the bottom of this window the option "use machine-specific device defaults" (might be something diferent, his is the traduction of may Spanish version of Audition) is checked or unchecked. In the settings for the Roland Rubix the current sample rate is fixed in 48000 Hz and it's not possible to change it. Ok, again, I never had this issue with CS6, no matter if the files are in 41.000 Hz or 48.000 Hz. In CS6 I can't choose the Sample Rate, it's in 48000 Hz but I can't change it. Anyway, CS6

Some odd behavior since the recent Audition update: After creating a subclip in waveform view, typing its name and pressing Enter, the waveform moves to either the beginning or end of the subclip. Not critical, of course, but the waveform never used to move at all during this process before. Also, my cursor often doesn't change as it used to, when moving from the waveform window to the spectral window. It takes a couple of mouse clicks to get it right. I'm on a 2018 Mac mini, running MacOS 12.6.5 (Monterey).

Recently I recorded and mixed an episode for my podcast. I am using a Mac studio that's up to date and the latest Audition (2023). Everything sounded great, I rendered a wave and an MP3 copy of the final project, and dropped it into Premier Pro to add captions for YouTube. Halfway through editing the video, I stepped away for dinner. I saved the file but did not close the application as I was coming right back.  When I returned, the audio quality was completely different, full of static like an old radio recording. I opened the audio file in QuickTime Player and Adobe Audition and it still sounded terrible. I then re-opened the Auditon file where I mixed the multitrack, and it sounded fine. So I mixed the multi-track down again and resaved it as a wave and then an MP3. Everything sounded good in QuickTime, so I replaced the old audio in premiere pro with the new mixdown and once again, the audio returned to terrible.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both progr

Hello there.I have found a bug.Particularly, when i am editing a .wav file into an mp3 meta data editor and i have set all metadata (title, artist, etc) when i am putting it into audition an saving it as mp3 apart from the filename, all other metadata are changing to non greek characters. (questionmarks)i am facing that problem on the last weeks, at the past everything worked without any issue.
