HiI am trying to find out why Adobe Bridge no longer has image processor under 'tools' It was there one day and the next was gone?VivienneDiscussion moved by moderator from Adobe Creative Cloud to Bridge General DiscussionTitle renamed for clarity.
Just got the 2023 version of Bridge and some of my smaller TIFF files are not showing up in the preview. It seems that all the photos I had edited and processed previously, and are very large files, show up fine. But all the smaller TIFF files that had no processing done and are smaller in size do not show up. Cannot figure this out! I uninstalled and reinstalled bridge and still doing the same thing.
Why are the file info panels so long? I have a sentence in a descrition field and the panel runs all the way down the screen. I drag it up but the next time I am doing this the panel defaults to being really long. All panels do this. I want it to auto adjust to the amount of text I have in each panel, not default to a mile long field. I am going back to the olf version. This is a productivity killer.
As of two weeks ago, Adobe Bridge 2023 keeps crashing my MacBook Pro (M1) with Mac OS Ventura whenever I am connected to some network drive/shared computer. Not only the program itself hangs up, but my full machine freezes to the point that I need to restart. I am hence not getting any useful error messages from Bridge. I have tried everything -- completely wiping the Creative Cloud (including caches) and reinstalling, installing Bridge on a different user account ... Weirdly enough, even installing older versions of Bridge which had worked fine before now keep crashing, as well. I am extremely frustrated, and frankly am out of ideas on how to fix this at this point. Does anyone have a similar problem/can recommend a solution? Thanks,Urban
In Bridge, I added a bunch of photo's to a Collection called Black & White. When I open the collection most of the photos will open in the Preview screen, but some of them will not-they are tiff files. All I get is a small emblum with the file name under neath. Usually it is the same photo's that will not open, but sometimes a few different ones pop up. I have gone to the file location directly and most of these photos will not open in preview there either. Some are large files and some are not. Four day's ago all was good, I thought I was using the most recent version at the time, but it may have been after the last update? I have un-installed Bridge and re-installed it, no difference. Is anyone having these issues and if you found a solution, please let me know. Thank You - Noreen
Bridge 2023 (and beta) are both 100% broken after latest updates. My thumbnail previews are now the same tiny size regardless of how large I set them to scale with the slider, the preview panel shows the same size image as the thumbnail, and spacebar no longer works to view an image full size. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, reverted to a prior version - nothing fixes it and now I can not work....at all. Please help, never had such a crushing bug before. I'm on os x 11.7.6
Bridge can't show the arw thumbnail and preview, but it will show other specification like jpg, png.I've already tried re-install the bride, and also tried other version of bridge, but the result is the same.In addition to not being able to display the preview, my bridge cannot directly enter into adobe camera raw, I've already clear cache and check my setting, it just suddently become like this, please help QQ
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Bridge 13.0.3 and 13.0.4 and also uninstalling and re-installing Photoshop 24.7. Nothing works. At each uninstall I selected do not retain preferences. The Raw files will open but no thumbnail is shown. Others appear to have the same problem. How can this be fixed ?Andrew
Meta datas are gone - from ALL editided photos . I did a whole wedding yesterday and today all datas are gone. And also all my meta datas I saved during the last years on several extern devices. anybody knows what happened???I can open in photoshop edited pis - in ACR ... it shows my editing but it wont work right in before and after (???) but it wont show any metadatas in pics in Bridge ???HORROR any decisions PLS!!!
This version sucks. Seriously. For a long time Bridge isnt able to remeber caches of folders already indexed. So every f**** time my folders with 3k of RAWs are getting cached again and again. The latest feature now is that there is no preview at all. Cleared the Cache. Every setting is correct (I think)...I really hate this App right now!
CC Bridge was automatically updated to 13.04 today.Usually when I broswe my Raw files in folders, I right click & select Open with Camera Raw. Now that option is gone . How can I restore it as use ACR daily to edit my Raw files (DNG) Thanks
Hello,I was doing the post production of my photos and the next time I turn on my computer to continue my work where I left it, bridge 2023 latest update doesn't seem to be able to porcess the CR3 files any more. can't show thumbnail, can't open with camera raw to edit. The files where working fine just before lunch break!I tried to reinstall Bridge, I also tried with an older update, it doesn't change anything. It's a huge problem, I have a lot of work I need to process to deliver to my clients fast.
I sort my photos from a photo session in their .jpeg form because it's way faster to sort than .arw files and I sort them by rating them, then I add all the already sorted .jpeg files in the .raw folder to put the same rating on the .raw files so I can syart editing the picked out photos. Is there anyway to sort by duplicate file names so that I don't have to scroll through thousands of photos and change each rating manually? (I use Bridge on iMac)
I'm trying to use Bridge to access a large shared image collection on a Windows server with primarily Windows clients. The collection is mostly in a set of subfolders, but the images have been extensively keyworded, so indexing is important to my being able to search the collection. When I attempt to search from the drive root and all subfolders, indexing begins, but according to the status bar never proceeds past the invisible "$RECYCLE.BIN" folder, presumaby because it lacks the permissions to index the contents. My questions: Am I correct that Bridge getting stuck on this folder because of insufficient permissions? If so, should I expect this behavior from other folders for which I don't have Read permission? If not, what is the actual reason? How do I get Bridge to ignore this folder and proceed indexing the rest of the drive? Deleteing or renaming the folder (to append ".noindex", for instance) is not an option.
I think I found a bug in either Bridge or Camera Raw. I open a raw file from Bridge, do my normal adjustments, BUT this one time I used the healing brush to remove a dust spot. And when I did when I clicked Open in Camera Raw to send it to Photoshop I got the message Could not open "_08A7186.CR3" because the file-format module cannot parse the file. I went back to Bridge and right clicked and under Develop Settings I clicked Clear Settings. Then I could open in Camera Raw and open it in Photoshop.
Every time I close and re-open Bridge, the sort order will now change back to the default. This never happened in previous versions. Bridge would always remember my sort order preference. My usual setting is to have the sort order by Date Modified, Ascending Order switched off, but Bridge now always reverts back to Date Modified with Ascending Order on after every restart.
I recently installed Creative Cloud on my new computer and installed Photoshop and Bridge. I used to be able to right click a photo (on every other version of Bridge I've ever used) and open it in Camera Raw to in order to convert HEIC images to JPEG. However, that option is not available (for any file, much less HEIC). I'm working in Windows 10 with the HEIC codecs installed (I paid the stupid $1 to greedy Microsoft), and the latest versions of Photoshop and Bridge. Things I've tried include clearing the cache, opening Photoshop to encourage Camera Raw to show up in Bridge, and ending all active sessions using from my Adobe account settings online, all of which are solutions that are mentioned in other threads. I've also tried using the building image converter in Bridge, but all I get is a really low resolution of the original image, similar to all my thumbnails which are extremely low resolution. How do I enable Camera Raw? Thanks in advance for your help.
This is something new and puzzling; After opening a raw file in Bridge 2023, when I move the mouse over the open file, the color profile appears to change between the chosen color profile and the darker one. If I continue and open the file in Adobe Photoshop 2023, it opens up in the correct profile. I don't know what causes these changes, but it obviously makes it difficult working with the raw files in Bridge. Mac StudioSonoma 14.0Studio DisplayAdobe Bridge 13.04Adobe Photoshop 24.7
Bridge beta 14.0.0.57, MacOS Monterey 12.6.8. If Secondary window is opened and main window then closed, panel behavior is unpredictable. Scripts can still open new panels but they are floating windows (with layout issues... :sigh:), not fixed panels in the new window. These floating windows cannot be docked but do appear to work with selected nodes in the Secondary window.
Bridge beta 14.0.0.57 - macOS Monterey 12.6.8 Closing the Primary window requires two clicks on the Close button. The first click closes the Conent tab and the second actually closes the rest of the window.
I am having problems in that Bridge V13.03.693 isnt applying keywords consistently. For example I have a folder and I want to tag all the photos as 2022. I select all the photos in the folder but when I double chek by clicking the individual photos afterwards only some of the photos are tagged.
I bracket all of my images, and have been able to use auto-stacking feature in Bridge prior to the latest upgrade. I use Windows 10 (latest version) and have a Sony camera. When I try to auto-stack from within bridge I get this meassage 'Image is missing preview data'.The only thing that has changed is Bridge so something must be wrong here. Anyone else with the same problem?
Hallowenn ich in Bridge Bilder sichte und ein jpg lösche soll gleichzeitig auch das zugehörige RAW gelöscht werden. Wie funktioniert das.Vielen DankHermann
Hello, Hoping someone can assist. I use batch editing to resize albums in both vertical and horizontal but the latest update has removed (or perhaps moved / renamed) this feature from the tool drop down menu on Bridge. It is an essential tool for our business and we wondered if anyone could assist us. Thanks in advance
