Hi everyone, I have tried researching this for hours prior to no avail. I installed Bridge for the first time this week, (11.0.2 and 10.1.1) and I can't even open it. I have a wonderful system that's more than capable, and all of my other Adobe Software works perfectly fine, (AE, PS, AI). Has anyone found a fix to this issue? It simply closes the program seconds after I launch it. Thanks for any responses!
Bridge (v. 11.0.2.123) has suddenly stoped showing previews of my files and when I try to open a file the app freezes. I.e. I am unable to use Bridge at all. Also, I can see in the Activity Monitor that Bridge uses more than 100% of the CPU (should not be possible, right?). I have purged the cache, uninstalled and re-installed the app, but to no avail. I have the following setup:iMac (Retina 5K, 27", 2019)MacOS Big Sur v. 11.3.1Processor: 3,6 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9Memory: 64 GB

Havinig issues where thumbnails are not showing. Have purged the cache and also increased cache size and thumbnails do not always appear. Go back in and out of folders and images shown either change or get less and less. If closing Bridge, have to go to Task Manager to kill the taks before opening again. Have never had these issues before Going back to 11.0.1 until this issue is fixed.
Dear Community, i have a problem/question about Colorspaces in Bridge. As i use Bridge to batch export pictures after editing them in Photoshop for my clients to use them in different ways, i would love! to select the Colorspace to export them in. One special clients wants the Pictures in sRGB small for Web and in AdobeRGB big for Archive and other Stuff (so no discussion if that makes any sense please. The client gets, whats the client wants). The exportpanel dosn't give me the option to select my Colorspace to export the pictures in. Is there any way to get that option or do i have to go back to Photoshop and build a little automatic-thing again like in the old days? I can't understand how that is not implemented in that exportpanel, so i asume i'm missing out on something. I work on a Mac with Catalina. Looking forward for your suggestions. Thank you!
I am just starting to use Bridge so I started with a folder that has 8 images in it. I tagged each of them with two keywords. When I tried the find function using the keyword that all of the images have, it only finds one of the images.
https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/whats-new/2021-2.html#super_resolution says that "Super Resolution helps create an enhanced image with 2x the width and 2x the height of the original image, or 4x the total pixel count. Most file types such as JPEG and TIFF are supported. You can especially use Super Resolution when you have to make large prints or increase the resolution of a cropped image." But it doesn't- I select enhance details and I get an Unsupported photo (JPEG)." I am up to date on both BR and CR.
I may have misunderstood and hopefully someone can clarify for me. I thought that by placing assets in Adobe Bridge I would be able to access them on my iPhone for use in other applications, such as Adobe Spark for example. Is that one of Bridge's intended uses/functionalities? If so, I haven't been able to figure out how to access Adobe Bridge assets from my iPhone. If that isn't how this works if someone could let me know that be great. On the other hand if this is one of the functionalities I'd love to know how to do that. Thank you in advance. MacBook Pro - Mac OS v11.3, Adobe Bridge v11.0.2.123, iPhone 12 Pro Max - iOS 14.5.1
On my previous MacBook I couldenlarge a thumbnail so that it fitted the screen without loss; now on my MacBookPro with Big Sur (and, previously Catalina) I either get a cutoff version of the picture or it reverts to two side-by-side. There is no subtlety in the scaling. I attach two screengrabs. Most grateful for suggestions. Have I missed something in Preferences? Peter Hogan
This should be a simple solution, but for some reason, I'm not able to copy an online image and then post it to our social media post. What step am I missing, or what product do I need to use to handle this?
In the current version of Adobe Bridge, 9.0.2.219 X64, I cannot move or copy an image from one folder to another. I get the following message:"Cannot move "A\B\C\D\E\M%20N%20O%20P%20%20.%208x10.jpg". The item is no longer available." In this example I used ABCDE to represent the words of the file location name which the message actually contains and the MNOP represents the words of the name of the image itself which the message actually uses with the percentages. On the message menu there is also graphic of a white X in a red circle. It says "cannot move" or "cannot copy" depending on which function I chose.I am working on a project where I have to copy well over 100 images, sort them and then create a slideshow with titles and not being able to copy images I want to another folder for sorting is making the job almost impossible. If anyone know the answer this problem, please let me as soon as possible. I appreciate the courtesy of your time and effo
Is there any way to add a keyboard shortcut to the remove from collection function?
I finally bit the bullet and upgraded yesterday to the subscription model of Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, etc. from CS6. No surprise, I'm having problems. I have a one-year-old, fast Windows 10 computer with 64GB RAM, 1.5 TB internal SSD HD, i7 processor, etc. Everything has been updated. And Bridge is slow and freezes up, as often as every 5-10 minutes now. All the help forums list umpteen possible problems, but I really don't want to waste a day or two screwing with that and possibly creating new problems for my other software. If people bought a new car and it stalled every five minutes, would people put up with that? I'm an engineer and am pretty good with solving computer problems, but I'm tired of dealing with these type of endless problems. Why do we put up with such shoddy performance with computers and software? Is this what I get for my monthly subscription fee? If anyone has any simple, bright ideas, let me know.&n

In a folder with 100s of raw photos i am looking for those made with a specific lens. Tried ctrl+f and selected the lens i was looking for. No files came up. By hand i can find some, so they are there. What is the trick?
Hey there,as I've seen in a recent Bridge thread, some one has the same problem that I experience. However, in order not to infere with his help, I started my own thread.Bridge simply crashes/closes without any further message after opening:Example of crashing Bridge - YouTubeI already tried the following:checked for updates on Bridge itself (already newest version via Cloud subscription, CC 2019)updated to the most recent drivers for graphics card (NVidia, 430.86 CRD)...and all other system components, including UEFIresetted Bridge by holding CTRL on start-up and checking all three options (see video above)complete uninstallation (without keeping settings etc.) and reinstallationlogged out and back in Creative Cloud applicationrenamed the SLCache and SLStore folders as recommended in another threadthere is only Microsoft Defender running AV-wise (also tried disabling it)Nothing of which changed anything for me. I noticed the problem just today, and had the Windows 10 1903 upgrade on s
I am using a 2015 Macbook Pro with Big Sur installed and I have recently noticed some serious lag on my computer. IT at my office took a look into it and noticed Bridge was using an insane amount of my CPU. I've done all the things suggested in other threads. I've cleared the cache and changed all the preview settings yet I'm still noticing significant lag and spikes in the program's CPU usage. My computer's fan is going like crazy any time the program is open. The only time it calms down is when I completely close out Bridge. I've found Bridge very useful for file management over the years but now it seems like I may have to stop using it entirely. I can't have one program eating up the CPU all day long, it seriously impedes my workflow. I've looked at several other threads about this issue and there seems to be no concrete fix that exists beyond these preview settings changes. Nor does it seem like Adobe is doing much to look into the issue. I'm really hoping for
I recently tried to do a batch rename in bridge, but in doing so I can no longer open my files using any application on my computer. The images were a .cr2 file, now they are undreadable. I'm not even sure how to find out what the file extension is. Any ideas how to change them back??? thanks!
Hi, I am trying to move from MediaPro to Bridge and running into problems with the keywords. In MediaPro, I was able to have a list of keywords separated by commas in the controlled vocabulary so all the keywords would be added at once. When I import the keywords to Bridge, it does not recognize them as separate values and puts a quotation mark around them. Is there some way to accomplish this in Bridge with it recognizing each item separated by a comma or semicolon as a unique keyword? I have tried both commas and semicolon with the same result. This is what my import file looks like:I need to be able to attach the scientific name along with the common names easily like this.It looks fine in the Keywords panel:But then the quotes are added in the metadata panel:I've been trying to find any solution to this and unable since this isn't a typical nesting situation of keywords but needs to be a specific list like this. Any insight is appreciated!Thank you!
Hi Folks,I'm using Bridge 2021, 11.0.2.123 on a with Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7.Thumbnails for some photos in the same folder and same drive have been rotated while others remain in the correct orientation. The rotated images can't be returned to the correct orientation (neither the rotate buttons nor the shortcut work), although they open correctly in ACR or Photoshop. Even if I open a file in ACR, with the correct orientation, and click "Done" the thumbnail remains incorrect.I've reset the preferences (which meant having to reorganize the hundreds of thumbnails again) but that didn't solve the problem. I didn't clear the cache with that reset ... figuring that the problem was with Bridge randomly rotating the images in the first place.Has anyone experienced and solved this issue?Thank you for the help.
I have recently decided to give up trying to use the 'Headline' field due to realizing the online industry has been built around the 'Title' field, and am moving my metadata between those fields. Someone please tell me there is a way to show the Title under a thumbnail in Bridge's Content panel? In Preferences > Thumbnails > Details > Additional Lines of Thumbnail Metadata there is no Title field in the dropdown list.I am on Bridge version 11.0.2.123 on Win x64.
Can not open Adobe Brige in my Photography Plan since upgrading my Apple Mac to Big Sur 11.0.1 operating system. Adice please.
When using Bridge 2019 and exploring photos on my external hdd ant entering some random folder (often old small size photos) my internal drive starts to drain on space. I cannot stop it even by exiting Bridge and when down to 0, yeah, then the computer can't work and it completely freezes. Hard reset is the only option. I have the latest Bride by this date and using Sierra (10.12.6) with my 1 year old MbPro Touchbar. What can be the problem here? Hdd-drain from Adobe is standard I'm afraid but it can't just continue drain until crash.
I have folders of image files that I want to resize & send to people for their printing. I've found that resizing to 4"x6"x300Res seems to be less confusing for many people who receive my images. I know how to batch resize in Photoshop's image processor, but inches isn't an option provided for the resized images. I haven't been able to figure out how to batch resize in Bridge or to express output dimensions as inches in Photoshop. This is a major problem for me.
