Bridge

I manually arrange my images in Bridge and it's always worked perfectly until today. Suddenly it's scrambling up everything. As fast as I try to restore order it mixes things up again. How do I fix this? I'm desperate!

Hello!I have an issue installing Image processor Pro on Bridge on a PC (I managed to install it for Photoshop), Basically I wondered if anyone knew where to putphotoshop_ximage_processor_pro.jsxas I got conficting adviceeither in the common files Which doesn't make much sense since I am not using the x86 file forder for anything (That's the "official doc advice") Or placing in in the C:/user/appdata/roaming/.../startup scripts like I saw elsewhere(basically the folder that opens when you show the start up scripts folder in the preferences) Anyhow, neither of those options work for me, the Image processor pro doesn't appear in the tools>photoshop list   I remember always having a hard time installing this since the extention installer had disapeared (why, oh why?)   Any help will be graciously received, Thanks!

I've been spending some time trying to research if there is a quick key method to switching from filmstrip mode to essentials in Bridge. I have not had any luck figuring it out. I'm running Bridge 15.0.2.432 and a quickkey would speed up my workflow tremendously. If anyone has any advice, please share it!

As per the title.  The files (or just one file) move OK, but then the swinning wheel appears and Bridge goes 'Unresponsive' and has to be closed and reopened. Windows 11Bridge 15.0.2.432 (but I noticed it first a couple of versions ago)

I can't upload a background video at my portfolio that i'm trying to build att the moment... Every time I'm trying I get a notice up in the right corner that says "An error occured. You must refresh the page. Please refresh the page" but nothing changes when I do so?

I did a batch rename of a collection that included RAW and Jpeg images. After the rename, all the XMP files associated with the RAW photos were gone. The Jpegs photos all had the renamed XMP information. I have read in other posts that sometimes the XMP can have the wrong name and not associate with the files after a rename, but in this case the XMPs are no longer there at all.  Not sure if there is a way to recover those XMP files, or what I can do in the future to prevent this from happening . I like the workflow of working in Bridge and Camera Raw, but this would be a deal breaker if there is no way to safe guard against losing information without any warning. 

I would like Adobe to Add the Ability to FLIP an Image in Bridge (X Axis). With the ability to flip on the X Axis, one can view their image in Any Orientation. I have been using Photoshop since version 2.2. I teach Digital Photography and Photoshop at a community college in Maryland. When I am going through my images in the Bridge, I NEED the ability to Flip an image, so I Don't have to open it in Photoshop or Lightroom because I use the slideshow to view the Final Images. I always tell my student that "when Adobe upgrades their programs, it's Always an Amazing Upgrade". I'd like to see video length in Bridge metadata. Windows Explorer shows this. Why can't Bridge? All those metadata fields, and not one for clip length? To me that is an important datum when searching and sorting video clips. Windows also shows frame rate and dimensions right up front.Left: BridgeRight: Windows Explorer, same file

I updated Bridge today and now everytime I click on an image to open Photoshop I am getting a screen of Adobe 1.0.7 and a congratulations for 35 years of photoshop. Bridge continues to default to the Beta version of Photoshop when I have clearly indicated I don't want to use that version. Is there something wrong with this recent update? 

My meticulously constructed keyword lists have disappeared. I have loaded folder after folder & selected all images (CTRL+A) in them to reconstruct the list. Then right-click on the Keywords tab > Export to a .txt file, and ... Guess what? There is nothing in the file! Does anyone know a way to resurrect keyword lists?

I normally create a folder (i.e. "RAWs") within a client photo shoot folder.  I then select all of the .NEF files within that folder in Bridge, and drag-and-drop them into the newly created RAWs folder.   Every time I do this, Bridge also moves other files along with the ones I had selected.  This forces me to go into the folder, and move the other files back. In short:  Selecting files in Bridge and moving them to a different folder causes other files to be moved as well, despite not being selected. I can replicate the issue easily. 

I photographed a book and made some file naming errors that led the files to not match the page order. EX: Page 1,2,3 is now Page 1,3,2,4,6,5....etc. In other programs I no longer have, I could batch rename with an increment of 2. I'd select every other file, and execute the renaming command which actually fixed the issue. In Bridge, I see a similar tool, but I don't see the same option. Is there a trick to this?

I would like an option to cancel opening the secondary window in Bridge.   As it is I can only"OK" the window to open and then close it.  (I'm a klutz on the keyboard and often accidentally open a secondary window which sends me down a one-way path.)

Suddenly while working in Bridge, I can no longer click, drag, and move thumbnails within a folder. WHY WOULD THAT BE???? Latest Bridge, MacBook pro with Sequoia

Bridge is created to manage photos, a lot of photos, not just one photo shot with 100-1000 photos.But why Bridge is so slow when working with really big numbers of files?For example, I have previews for all of my photos, every preview is about 3 MP, not so big. I want to select 10000 previews, then just cut it and paste to another folder. When I select 10000 preview photos and right click to get menu, Bridge is just freezing for a very... very long time. Any many other things: if I just select 2000 or more files and try to do anything with them, I'm 100% sure that Bridge will be slow and may freeze for a long time. We are in 2025, photographers have collections of 100000 photos and more, why Bridge is still glitchy when working with big numbers of images? May be it's time to fix this? Sure I'm using fact PC with SSD drive, so it's not a problem of old hardware.

When using the magnifying glass tool in preview-window it's extremely bumpy and laggy both in Bridge 2024 and 2025 (macOS Monterey 12.7.6 and macOS Sonoma 14.7.4).This occurs on all images in all sizes but seems to be another bug in addition to this one already posted here -> "magnifying-glass-tool-shows-weird-facetted-effect' .I used Bridge CS6 in macOS ElCapitan before and there it worked fluently like a charm.Is there anything that can been done about that?

I'm running Creative Cloud Bridge in Windows 11 on a BeeLink SER8I open a folder containing a lot of camera files (*.cr2).If I select a file, right click on it and select "Reveal in Explorer" a black screen pops up and quickly disappears.I have managed to find the error message that makes no sense. Here it is term 'C:\Windows\OEM\Explorer.ps1' is not recongnized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or a program. This path does not even exist. This happens in Lightroom also. Bridge, Lightroom, and Photoshop work fine except for this feature.

I am trying to get and set the rating (stars) of JPEG and RAW data with JavaScript, but I cannot find an interface to do this.I already get the file name and other information. I undocked the Preview panel and now I cannot get it to dock again so it's not floating above my workspace. No matter where I grab it, how I move it around, or where I move it to, there are never any drop zones that become highlighted. I have tried clearing the cache, and resetting the preferences, and I even tried uninstalling / reinstalling Bridge and NOT importing old preferences, but it's still floating. How can I redock this please?

For the past three versions we have not been able to view PNG thumbnails on any of our "systems". What's the fix and if there's not then get on it!

When selecting a Video File, it doesn't show the XMP Metadata, which comes with the File. It only shows some Dates, the size and the Filename: When selecting a Photo (JPG), the Metadata is shown: Tried different things:Extract Metadata from Video with exiftool as a xmp File, Import the XMP-File with "File Info..." - "Import" - nothingTried the Metadata Extension which is Part of the "XMP Metadata UI SDK", which worked for some Tags (tiff:Make, tiff:Model, xmpDM:videoCompressor, ...), but for the rest no values are shownTried to bring the xmp-Information within the xmp-File in a different order, but no result. My environment is Adobe Bridge 15.0.2 on Windows 11 Has anyone a solution for this? Spent at least three days investigating, but no result.

I like using Bridge with Premiere, but it is not possible to see ProRes RAW files before placing in PPro...this needs a fix.

since the update to v13 (today) i cannot open files to Photoshop (v24) when i use CameraRaw through bridge. Not by 'OPEN' 'OPEN AS OBJECT'' or 'OPEN AS COPY' clicking on eiter of these nothing happens. The only way to open a image in Photoshop through bridge is FILE->OPEN WITH->ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 2023 (DEFAULT)  So not by dubbel clicking on a file or throught the 'OPEN IN CAMERARAW" icon. It wil open in CRaw but i cannot continue to Photoshop Apple M1 Montery v12.6
