Bridge

I spend a great deal of time keywording. I go to the Keywords panel, search for the keyword in my list, press the arrow buttons in the panel until it gets to the correct keyword, then I press Return to apply the keyword. That part works great. But then to apply a keyword to the next image I have to click on the image, then click back to the keywords panel and repeat the process of looking for the corect keyword. Is there any way to switch the focus from one panel to another, just by using keystrokes? I've checked several different versions of Bridge and can't find anything that would allow this. Am I missing something?

I have been editing metadata in Bridge ( I find it the easiest Adobe software to to this in). But I am struggling to see where I can sync the metadata from one file to another? 

My Bridge has a very blurry interface, and I'm on the newest posible versions of all apps.I think I have tried all combinations in Preferences->Interface  

Now, from looking through the community of many other posts I understand that Adobe Bridge is free to download. However, I still have to make sure whether the software is truly available for any environment, considering its use could prevent me from using the software from per say business environment.Can anyone give me a conclusive answer to the use of Adobe Bridge?

At 100% zoom the zoom bubble creates this weird tiling effect. At 200% or more it looks just fine as always. Does anyone have an idea why that ist and/or how to fix it?

The resolution within the magnifier used to be sharper. Previously when clicking it would start blurry like this, then sharpen. Is there a setting for this?See attached screen capture.Thanks. 

How do I make Photoshop a default in bridge "open with"?

Bridge Photo Downloader Will Not OpenI am running Adbobe Bride 2020 on a Windows 10 PC.Everything was working fine until unfortunately I experienced a power outage when I was using Bridge,Now I find everything I use in Bridge appears to work as normal (at least everthing I have tried) except for the Photo Downloader which simply will not open when I click on its camera icon.If I find its executable file in Program Files and run it from there, it opens just fine but it will not open from Bridge itself.  Something clearly got corrupted during the power cut so can anyone suggest what to do to effect a cure short of reinstalling Bridge? 

Using PS 21.01 and Mac Catalina, thumbnails in Bridge do not automatically show the Auto adjustments . To get them I need to open the individual file in Camera Raw, click on  Auto and then Done.There used to be an option to make this the default setting but I can no longer find it.Help greatly appreciated.

Hi, Bridge CC 2019, Preview Panel will sometimes not show the previews for some TIFF files.Will only show TIFF file icon. Metadata for camera settings when shot, will be blank.It apprears to be random, some files previews render fine some not. When edit these files in Photoshop and saved, then the preview will render in Bridge, Metadata is restored. But upon quitting Bridge and relaunching, the preview no longer appears and reverts back to showing TIFF icon.Reset Preferences, Purged Cache for all files will render previews fine. But again, upon quitting Bridge and relaunching, reverts back to showing TIFF icon.Seems to do fine with JPGs.Updated to Bridge CC 2020, same problem.Searching online, cannot find anyone else with this problem.System is Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6  Any suggestions?Thanks in advance.

Hello When I go to Extra - Change name in batch, i chose for the namesetting jjjjmmdd or jjmmdd. With both options the year in the filename wil be changed to 2019. The date of my system is 2020. Why in the same folder are there differing artboard sizes displayed in adobe bridge when all artboards are exactly the same size. Some artboards include Art outside the art boards some don't? Ive treated each file the same.  

Is there a way to hide all images in a folder except for this I have selected? (Using CTRL + Click) I would like to focus on small batches by selecting a few and viewing their thumbnails next to eachother, instead of renaming them.

I was looking at some imgaes last night and then today only the ones I hace colored have shown up, on the side menu it' hasn't shown any colors. Not sure what's going one I have reinstalled bridge  on my computer but still the same, note other folders are not like this one. Any help would be awesome.

Seems that bridge re-indexes smart collections when you click on them!Why do these collections not stay indexed?Anyone?

Not sure how this happened, but I mistakenly uploaded my entire hard drive and basically everything on my MAC into Bridge. I realized that if I delete any folders, they delete off my hard drive as well. Any ideas how to start over so I'm only using it for photography?

Hi!I've been editing just under 2000 photos in ACR and after I was done I renamed all the raw files. As I have done countles times before with other file groups. However, this time all the edits I had done to the photos have dissappeared. I checked the hidden xmp files and their names are changed also so there should be no problem linking the files together but for some reason none of the changes I made, show up. I tried reverting the names back to the originals but this had no effect. Xmp files also reverted back but still no edits are shown. I tried opening a file in ACR to see if bridge was just not showing the changes but no, the file was completely untouched. Anyone have any suggestions on what else I could try? Using Bridge CC version 10.0.3 on a Mac. Thanks for any suggestions!

How can I update keywords and collections in Bridge 2020 from 2019.I use the same folders but I'm not having the same informations in Bridge 2020. Thank you for answerAndrea

In Germany we had the letter "ß" like "ss" in other states . If I use this letter in a keyword tag -  "weiß" for example, there ist no result in the keyword search results. If i rewrite it from "ß" to "ss" the search works. Is there any setting to use the german "ß" in search tags? The other umlauts does work for example "ä" or "ü" . 

When I go to add a label to a newly edited photo, once labled it loses it's rating.  This has been frustrating because I am editing A LOT of photos at a time and the usuable/rated images when labled dissapear to the depths of the unrated images after losing their 5-star rating.   Any suggestions?  Using Adobe Br 2020 and have NEVER had this issue before.

I exported a folder of 250 photos as shared cache on a nas server. Browsing with another computer does import the cache, but Bridge CC still takes a lot of time to generate thumbails and previews. What is this exported cache for, then? Thanks 

I was on a commerical shoot this week and wanted to evaluate what I had created with my client on location. I went to open Bridge but kept getting the message that it could not establish a connection and therefore could not authenticate me.  Not only was this highly embarassing but we also lost a lot of time, meaning the shoot had to be extended for which the client will not compenate me for.  I would like some sort of compensation as this is a service I pay for and could not use through no fault of my own. This is a direct consequnece of Adobe operating in the cloud without a back up mechanisim for when you are on location and have no 3G or 4G coverage.  I talked to the customer help team who where no help and just told me to post on here. 

I'm new to Bridge so probably a dumb question,. I've set up a range of keywords and sub-keywords (thus creating categories) for each image and I now want to search via the keywords, selecting options within each category (or master keyword) I have set up. But I can only find a way to search all keywords in a single bucket, very inefficient. Surely there is a way to search using the categories set up?     (Attachment Removed and image placed inline with the test. Done by Mod JSM)

I've tried many times to export my keywords (60+) in bridge. However, once I go to the saved text file it only has the defult keywords that comes preinstalled with Bridge.  It seems like a pretty straight fowrward process. https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/keywords-adobe-bridge.html#import_or_export_keywords Not sure why this is not working. The previews in Bridge/Camera Raw for one of my cameras looks as they did whan I captured the images, then they go very dark.  I'm shooting with a DJI M2P drone, and I adjust exposure based on the image preview in the Smart Controller. The previews in Bridge look many stops darker than they did on the Smart Controller monitor. But for a second while Bridge is generating preview, the images look as they did on the Smart Controller. The images remain dark in Raw Reader. (very under exposed) The captures are saved as DNG. I'm guessing that somehow the embedded sidecar settings are not being properly read by Bridge/Raw Reader. Perhaps raw reader doesn't have the proper setting for that camera like it has for my DSLR. Or perhaps there is something in Bridge/Camera Raw Prefs that needs adjustment? The key here is that before the previews in Bridge are completely generated, the images look far closer the the captures when I took them than they do after the previews are updated.
