Bridge

I am running out of disk space in Bridge and I have already compacted my cache. What happens when you purge the cache? Am I losing important data? Honestly, I don't really understand it and I have done a lot of research..... I am worried about losing important data. Why wouldn't you want to purge your cache?

Hi All,Bridge is completely frozen, can't access any of my images - NOTHING works. I have to force quit to get out. I open it up again and try to select something, it does and then freezes. PS and LR work as advertised, only bridge is affected. Tried to go to Adobe support - what a joke ! It was a complete run-around. It would ask a question and direct you to a page which would ask the same question and then send you back to the page you were just on and asks the same question all over again.If I un-install bridge will I also lose all of my images ?any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Tom Vollick

Why do Adobe products navigate with root of a PC as "Desktop"?  A user's Desktop in Windows is typically C:\Users\username\Desktop.  In Adobe navigation, every disk is under Desktop.  Desktop=>C:\ for example is the Adobe concept of a filesystem in Windows.It's really dumb and amateur.  A just-fix-it stupid thing that should have been fixed long ago.

Both, photoshop cc2017 and Bridge are uptodate. But Bridge tries to open Photoshop CC 2015.5 (which is replaced by CC2017)How can I adjust Bridge in order to find the new version of Photoshop? Thanks a lot

Bridge can be very valuable for my organitation purposes but it lacks a key feature for me, or I cannot fin it . If I choose and drop images from bridge to keynote , I just get a small jpeg poor quality image on keynote, ¿I s there a way to get good quality images in an easey fast way to keynote ? , That is very , very important for me....and many colegues of me.Thank you in advanceOriol

In the last week I have been having some annoying things start to happen with adobe bridge & photoshop - attempting to single click images immediately opens them in Photoshop  - HELP! I want to check out each image, before opening - I am single clicking all the time...I am on a PC with windows 8.  I have never seen this before and cannot figure out how to fix it, so I have to double click on an image to open.  Please HELP me!!!!

After updating and changing out the primary drive, this interesting dropdown happens when you are in bridge select an image, then right click to open with: you getmultiple choices of each program, yet, only one of each is installed.  How do I eliminate the additional items?

I'm a public media producer and would love to use Bridge to organize my audio files in addition to all my photos and video, but I can't seem to preview long audio files within the preview window.  I have no troubles using the play function on 60 second files, but files that are 58 minutes both mp3, aif,  and wav don't preview. I can click the play button all day, but nothing happens. Is there a limit to the length of audio that Bridge can preview?Mac Pro Mid 2010, OS 10.10.5  Adobe Bridge CC 2017 Release 7.0.0.93

The latest version of Bridge after being idle a bit it freezes none stop on W10, never had that problem, what gives Adobe? Thank you.

Hiam having issue with Bridge as on start up Bridge is trying to connect to Publish server which is not allowed by Our proxy i need that option disabled completelywhich should be optional and its not, if this cant be done can i get URLS to where bridge is trying to connect on the start up so we can allow it on our proxyversion is 7.0.0.93 x64

Hello,I would like to ask, how the 1:1 previews are generated in bridge.I would like to do culling in bridge instead of LR. I found it more convenient with the compare, filters, marking etc.What I do not understand, how the previews are build, where are they stored etc...If select in the drop down menu to do 1:1 previews I expect that bridge will do them.But there is no progress bar like in LR, I see only notifications blinking in left down corner that thumbnals and previews are generating.I do not know, how much is left, or so...Please explain.thxP

It seems that out of no where, I am unable to use Adobe Bridge to see a Raw image photo as I only see the icon.1. My camera is supported in the raw converter, Canon 1DX2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Bridge.3. I have purged the cache and reset all settings in the Bridge before it opened.4. If I use open file in the Bridge, I can see the Raw photo.5. I am using the latest version of Photoshop, Bridge and Raw converted6. OS is Windows 10, all updates, 64bitWas not able to find any other relevant information, so I am lost. I have been a Photoshop user since its inception, and now, with the yearly Photography plan there is no phone support or real time chat. I await a solution- The Bridge also will not display any EXIF data; never saw this every before.Best,Josh Blustein

I have a bizarre need.  I need to locate unstacked images and add them to the previous stack (by previous stack, i mean the stack of images taken immediately before the unstacked image) I know some javascript, but I'm a newbie at adobe, so I can't figure out how to1) ID unstacked images2) ID the stack immediately previous to it3) add the new image to the stack (and when I do this, will the stack be in chronological order?)thanks

Hi,I am having trouble with Bridge. I have a folder of images I am cropping in Photoshop and viewing on Bridge at the same time. About a quarter of these images have a small crop icon on the top right hand corner, these images look like they have been cropped in too much, I did not do this. I have one example open in Photoshop where I have cropped it how I like but when I save it Bridge crops in even more, but maintains the crop I chose on Photoshop. After I close this it will then only open as the over cropped image. Any solutions for this?Thanks.

Hi, I've been trying to find an answer for this, unsuccesfully. I want to know if there's a way to add keywords to mxf files with Bridge. It gives me an error when trying to do it normally. Maybe there's a plugin or extension that can manage to do it?Any help will be appreciated.

Many files dowloaded from youtube show green thumbnails and have a green or white noise image when previewed. But when double clicked and played in QT or finder they play fine.  I've tried:- clearing the cache- moving the cache- moving the file to my main HDD- enabling / disabling full screen preview- enabling / disabling software rendering- setting all mp4 and quicktime extensions to play with QT- restarting Bridge- re-installing BridgeAny suggestions?Thanks

I am currently trying to go through a wedding and star my photos off of a Seagate external hard drive. I have two separate ones and neither is letting me star. I try command and the number and it won't stay. I also try clicking on the star and it won't stay. It immediately disappears. I have a macbook pro, which it does work on. But I started using my iMac and it won't work on there. I just updated everything on the iMac because I haven't used it in a while.Thank you in advance!Jill

The very first time I opened Adobe Bridge I had to preview something and when I went to click preview in browser it came up with all these different options. I clicked Chrome because that's where I always go to find things but when Chrome came up it kept saying I needed to download Adobe Flashreader or something. I'm using a school computer and don't want to download it on here so I went to look up a way to change my option and a lot of sites and questions came up, but none helped my situation. I tried a couple things off of some of the sites but it still didn't work. Does anybody know how to change it?

I am using 64 bit  photoshop cs6 when i open bridge it all with blurry fonts anybody has any suggestion. Please help
