The Bridge search function now defaults to search Adobe Stock. If I open the Creative Cloud app, there's Stock again. I get that you want to push for it but come on, this is approaching Microsoft-Windows 10-annoying.Please stop forcing it upon users in this contemptuous way.[edited to use less annoying font-kglad]

It is well documented that editing JPEG files and then saving again causes image degradation.What about frequently amending keywords in Bridge (without image editing) i.e. making just metadata changes?Does this cause similar issues?

If I right click on image in bridge  it has default which is not photoshop cs6   How can I get my default changed to cs6??

One of my folders, stored on an external nas disk, can for some reason not be opened in Bridge. If I try, it only opens a finder window with the content of the folder. No other folders suffer from this. What´s going on?

Hi all,We recently got a Blackmagic Ursa Mini and are recording to the ProRes UHD codec. However, when we bring it into Bridge for Windows, there is no preview and we can't play back the video in the Preview tab. I have a large number of sanctioned images from previous projets (in our case, designed online courses).  I would like to execute a search based on images for a new  online course.  Suitable but not authorized images have been provided so I am looking to find appropriate substitutes within our own resource library.  If I want to buy the images through Adobe Stock, I can use their image search function (as seen in the fiques below).  But I would like to search through my current Adobe Bridge folder which as I said before is filled with thousands of images. These have not been sorted by collections.   The long term plan is to tag these but I have a deadline to meet and even with batch tagging, this strategy will not meet the need.  Is there a way to «image search» my folder in Adobe Bridge?

Batch renaming problem This question is Not Answered.(Mark as assumed answered)   Wayne Thompson Feb 5, 2017 7:09 AM      I have a folder of images from a travel trip that I naively processed before renaming.  I saved images as PSD and JPG along with maintaining the CR.  This gave me an original file number with say 2 different extensions under the same number.  But later, I found other images from the same trip that I  want to add in a specific order to the folder.  But when I attempt the Batch rename it will change each image with consecutive file number, if I have saved them with different extensions.  Is there a way to Batch rename all the collection of images where an image with say 2 or 3 different extensions can keep the same new Batch rename and number?  ie:K2 Expedition_001.psdK2 Expedition_001.jpgK2 Expedition_001.copy.jpgand not being changed in the Batch Rename to:K2Expedition_001.psdK2Expedition_002.jpgK2Ex

When I use Lightroom I can see Fuji Acros color profile, but when I switch to Camera Raw Fuji Acros is not found.What am I doing wrong?Thanks

I have two disks on my PC (Windows 10). PSE 15 is loaded onto Drive K and Adobe Bridge on Drive C. Bridge cannot open images because it is looking in the wrong location for PSE 15. How do I change the default location in Bridge so it looks for PSE 15 on the K Drive?

I have Photoshop CS6 on my pc. Clicking on a raw photo in Bridge to continue in Camera Raw 9.1.1 for editing the photo I don't get the full screen Camera Raw. So I have to click on the double arrow above on the right side. But the full screen version does not have the possibility Open, Cancel, Ready right side below, so after editing I have to go back to the smaller screen version of Camera Raw and then I can open to Photoshop.Someone knows how I can get directly the full screen going from Bridge to Camera Raw, included the possibilities of Open, Cancel and Ready?Thank you for your help,Jan Boersmathe Netherlands 

I got my Photoshop CS3 and Camera Raw loaded onto my new computer. In Bridge my jpeg  images (thumbnails) do preview in the Content area but my raw images (or Canon CR2 images) are displayed as generic blue icons with the file number. When I double click on them it does open the Camera Raw dialog box but I would like to see all the raw thumbnail files in Bridge content at once as I can do with the jpeg files.

HiI can't use the onion skin view after creating a 10 images stack :The support page says to press "ctrl" key then select Stack>Onion Skin but Onion Skin does not appear on the stack menu.Anyone's got an answer ?Thanks

this morning photoshop started with the start your 30 day free trial popup.  I checked the CC app and sure enough photoshop and bridge were waiting to be installed (despite being installed and having been installed for months).If I install them at this point will I lose my presets, actions etc.  I already lost my tool presets in an upgrade, I dont want to lose anything else

I did find the information, months ago: there is a file, I do not remember if it is a log, or a journal one, that one can delete in order to fix non working scripts in Bridge. (it gets automatically recreated on next launch) On windows, I think it was not in the /username/app data/roaming tree, and it was not an easy one to find (trust me, I searched already many times)I saw it as a simple answer in a forum, but I cannot find it back for the sake of it, despite using some google fu...Thank you in advance!

Unable to use BRIDGE CS6 due to message: Bridge Activation Status Can Not Be Determined

Hi,since today my Bridge doesn´t open Folders anymore and freeze so I have to close it about the Task Manager.If I open a Folder from the "C" Harddrive it works. All other harddrives no matter if the hardrive is a plugin or intern freeze after you navigate to the last subfolder.For better understand:C:\folder\subfolder\image datei --> Works😧\folder\subfolder\image datei --> freezeI have deinstalled and reinstalled the bridge manytimes. Delete the settings, cache, (SHIFT+STRG+ALT) ect.Any help?Edit:I find out that this seams to be a problem if a video file is in a folder. I run Captain 10.11.6 (15G1212).Bridge CS5 can not connect to my camera anymore.So I'm not able to download my photos to the computer. Have to use the silly Photo app from Apple instead and I loose the NEF files.What is the problem?Any solution to propose? thanks

I use Bridge CS6 on my pc and recently I lost the drive that held all my photos. I reinstalled from a backup, but since then, Bridge cannot search on the keywords.The keywords are still in the XML files, with each photo, but it seems Bridge has lost the search index.How can I get the search function working again, across the keywords of all my images.I have approx. 250k images, so I would really like this function back as it has been extensively used over the past 5-6 years whilst building my image librabry.Thanks you for your help.Graham

When I launch Bridge, it opens multiple windows of it. I can work somewhat in Bridge but if I try to put information on the image it will crash. I am using Bridge CS 5.1 and my Mac system is OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. How can I fix this?

Seit einigen Monaten habe ich das Problem, dass beim Übertragen meiner Bilder per Kartenleser in Camera Raw (Adobe) einige Farbüberlagerungen (Fehler) aufweisen. Zwei Kameras (Canon EOS 5 D Mk III und EOS-1Dx Mk II) waren deshalb bereits zur Reparatur in Willich. Bei der 5 D Mk III wurden beim ersten Mal der Sensor und das elektrische Leitungssystem ausgetauscht, bei der 1Dx Mk II der Sensor. Die 5 D Mk III war zum zweiten Mal dort, sie wurde ausgiebig getestet, ein Fehler konte nicht festgestellt werden. Es wurde ein möglicher Defekt des Raw-Konverters vermutet und ich werde daher nun für die Übertragung versuchsweise DPP anstelle von Adobe nutzen. Jedoch waren die beschädigten Dateien (mit einer Ausnahme - ein jpg - waren es sämtlich RAWs) auch bei der Ansicht über DPP in der Einzelbildgroßdarstellung mit der Farbüberlagerung behaftet, nicht jedoch in der verkleinerten Übersicht. Ich werde mit weiteren Bildern meinen bisherigen Workflow daher abändern und die Ergebnisse abwarten. Den
