Hi all,I'm a fairly inexperienced user of the Adobe CC programs. I just updated to Bridge 2019. I'm working on a project involving tagging thousands of photos of various formats with keywords, and I was about halfway through when this update occurred.After opening Bridge 2019 and futzing around with the UI layout, I tried to get back to work but all the keywords are missing from tif files. I can't add new keywords to them either. And when I go back to Bridge 2018, I see a few keywords I put in up to yesterday, but most have vanished. Trying to add a new keyword to a tif file results in the following error message: "The file "filename.tif" cannot store XMP metadata. No changes will occur."Because I'm pretty inexperienced with these programs, I'm not sure if there's something obvious that I'm missing. I slightly panicked that 6 months of work might be down the tubes if I can't get these keywords back.Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,I'm having this issue where certain location folders (external drive, network drives) are locked on my Bridge. I can still get to them using finder but I can't view them on Bridge. When I right click the file it gives me the option to unlock the drives but it doesn't actually unlock them...I thought that maybe the permissions on my network drive changed, but the fact that my personal external won't let me in make me a little suspicious

My bridge 2019  has started to fail to launch. All I get is "operation could not be completed"Reinstalled several times but get the same result.Can use 2018 okay. Any one having the same problem?It had been working fine till yesterday when this issue started.

Hi, hope someone can help.Recently, this 'pick up...' dialogue box has started to pop up each time I close an image when using Bridge CC. I would like it to go once and for all rather than having to close it each time I open up a new image. Thanks in advance for your help.

I viewed my images in Bridge. While doing so, I dragged my favorites over to the favorites panel. Is there a way to open all of the favorites in Photoshop at once instead of having to click on each individual file?

Hi updated my Photoshop CC and Bridge CC last night from the 2015 to the 2017 version.  Now I can't open any of my files.  I get a pop up that says "Could not complete your request because photoshop does not recognize this type of file."  I worked on pictures all day yesterday and now nothing will open.  Any suggestions?

I have looked under every tab and cannot seem to find the image processor to export a bunch of images from raw to jpg. Granted, I just started using Bridge a couple weeks ago, so I wasn't super familiar with it to begin with. But I can't find this feature, and it is an important feature for me, I don't want to have to open several hundred photos in Photoshop just to turn them into jpgs. Please help. Thank yoU!

Very annoyingly this morning I have had Bridge 2019 imposed on me. I now have unusably soft thumbnails a ruined morning and a box that repeatedly pops up saying - adobe pick up where you left off, or start fresh windows - I desperately need to switch this crap off before I hit the screen! HELP 

How do I get rid of the darker grey boxes around every image? Its just horrid. I want less extraneous visuals not more.

Hoping someone can help.  I have searched high and low to no avail.I am wondering how to change the default PLACE IN command on the contextual menu in Bridge. At some point I did place something into After Effects and that somehow became the default selection.  However I rarely use this to place into After Effects.  Much more often I am placing hundreds of items into indesign or into Photoshop depending on the task at hand and it would save a considerable amount of time if I could set the default program at the bottom of the "left click" contextual menu to Indesign.Anyone got an idea on this?All updated versions (CC2019)Please and thanks!

My photos should be renamed to AJCL - 20181004-0003.cr2 etc. This happend:  . AdobeBridgeBatchRenameTemp1AJCL - 20181004-0003 .  AdobeBridgeBatchRenameTemp2AJCL - 20181004-0004 AdobeBridgeBatchRenameTemp3AJCL - 20181004-0005. The xmp files were mixed e.g. I see in bridge a picture of a seagull and when i go to the raw converter it shows there a picture of a boat. (and that should be correct. But when I go back to bridge it still shows a seagull in stead of a boat. It is all mixed up. Total disaster. Is there a solution or should I go back to bridge 2018 and wait for an update?

Good evening hive mind.  I recently updated to Bridge 9.0.0.204 and I am noticing that my keywords are missing.  I created a few for the pictures I downloaded after the upgrade, and they are all that appear when I open Bridge (see below).  I can click on older photos and once I do the keywords populate from that photo, but I don't see "ALL" of my keywords in the menu. I'm not incredibly fluent in this version of Bridge and I am concerned that all of my keywords are no longer there to choose from.  Can anyone help? I'd love all the keywords to be in the menu so that I can easily choose from the keywords I have created.  I'm pretty worried about this.  I'd love some advice.

When I search for a name associated with the file's description the new version of Bridge returns no results.That is very inconvenient. Indeed, if that is the case (I could be doing something wrong) it presents a huge issue.If I can't search for words that are not attached as keywords it is very inefficient and ineffective.The previous version did.What's the issue? It seems you can search everything else in metadata but description.Brian

Bridge don't show XD file in the Preview panel. Solution?

I have many thousands of TIFF files saved (uncompressed), and I am needing a way to batch save them with ZIP compression.  In Bridge, it appears that my only option is LZW compression, but I am not very familiar with the program so I may be missing something.  Is there a way to do this in Bridge?

Hello,I have been using Custom XMP Panels for Adobe Photoshop and Bridge.  Migrating panels to current versions of Photoshop have not been an issue but Bridge is a bit more complicated.Currently trying to test the panels with Adobe Bridge CC 9 but I don't know where they are stored.  In Bridge 2018, they were stored in the Contents folder within the application.  Not sure where to store them now.Any help would be much appreciated.Morgan

Every time I open Bridge CC 2018, it asks "Do you want to locate and import preferences from previous version of Bridge." Every time, I tick the box that says "Don't show again" & I hit the No button. Then every time I open the program again, it does the same thing. How do I make this stop??

Since updating to Bridge CC 2019 from Bridge CC 2018, I have discovered that some metadata fields - specifically the DateTimeOriginal and GPS data fields - are showing as blank in CC 2019, despite still being visible in 2018.There is a possibility that somewhere in my recent uses of third party apps, like picasa, I have inadvertently wiped this information, but the presence of the info in CC 2018 suggests that either CC 2018 has a cache of metadata that is not being written to the files or xmp sidecars, OR that the information is there, and CC 2019 just fails to read it.Can anyone confirm whether there is such a cache, and whether I can use some option to write that cache to my files?Or, alternatively, if there is an option in CC 2019 to force it to re-read from XMP sidecars?

i just updated bridge and camera raw cc ---  now i can't locate image processor that was under tools in bridge ?  help !

Normal-With Exposure mode showingSo normally in the bridge on the metadata tab I can see (under Camera Data), what exposure mode a student shot in (Auto, Program etc.) but for one student it is missing. See below. Why could that be? The students are required to shoot in manual, or one of the priority modes. So I don't want to accuse him of changing the metadata...plus I don't' think he'd know how. But how can this be missing? Can anyone help??missing the first 3 items.

Hi,In Bridge - ACR, Looking to batch save the RAW file's settings snapshot of individual files?Every image has their own setting, and i want to:1.Batch save each files custom setting into snapshot (last panel in ACR)(currently i've thought just to batch copy the XMP files to a temp directory)2.How to manage different versions (batch change snapshot / versions) of the RAW settings of all files?Thanks!

Hello Community,since I updated to the new 2019 versions I have following the problems:When I want to copy and paste the development settings in Bridge via ctrl+alt+c   and  ctrl+alt+vit just does not do anything. I then reinstalled Ps and Br, now I get the message that the source anddestination files are the same. Which is just not true.Also I found it doing some weird things then, not pasting all settings, especially white balance was notpasted...It works via right click copy and right click paste etc. but this is just a pain...Also, when I run the image processor I can't let it run in the background, I have to watch it run.In the past I was able to click it away and do something else in the meantime.Now it just stops working and there is an error message that lists all the file names that could not be processed.Any of you experiencing something similar?Thanks alot

In Bridge CC 2019 gib es die farbigen Labels zur Kennzeichnung der Vorschaubilder nicht mehr als Balken unter den Bildern, sondern nur als kleine Punkte, kaum sichtbar. ich würde gerne wieder zur alten Vorschau von Bridge CC 2018 zurückkehren, wo man auf den ersten Blick die Kennzeichnung erkennt.Außerdem stören mich bei Bridge CC 2019 die grauen Rahmen wie bei Dias um jedes Vorschaubild herum. Wie werde ich die los? danke!
