I've searched around trying to find this answer but I can't seem to find it.When I'm in the Libraries view I want to open that image in the main preview window but it only wants to open it in photoshop. It seems kinda silly since I want to view the image first to make sure I'm looking at the correct one before I want to open it in anything else. Is there a way to change this behavior?I tried looking in the file types, but that seems to affect the behavior in other tabs, not Libraries.I tried to drag and drop from the library to the preview window and that doesn't work either.

I recently updated to bridge 8.1.0.xxx on my mac and now when I'm loading up a photo album, bridge is using up a ton of memory and eventually crashes. Previously in activity monitor, memory pressure would never go beyond green. Now it stays in the yellow and red and uses an enormous amount of "swap". I have tried to purge the cache and restart the computer. I'm a photographer and process large amounts of raw photos daily, but the issue has only started after the update.Computer is an iMac on High Sierra4 GHz Intel Core i716 GB RAMAMD Radeon R9 M395 2048 MBThanks in advance for help

Bridge 2018 does not display the entire preference popup window (Edit>Preference) Bridge cuts off the top part of the preference popup window. Bridge is installed on MS Windows 10.

I have a bunch of keywords photos in a folder on a server. They show the keywords in the sidebar. But when I do a search for a photo using the Find function, Bridge can't find the photos.I thought I could try going to "Show all Items from Subfolder" and just clicking on the master keyword list filter there, but it says "No items to display."I am using Bridge  8.0.1.282 on Mac OS 10.13.6.Is there a way to get Bridge to search within subfolders on a server?

Just installed the latest version of Bridge 8.0.0.262, where I found that the Description and Keyword panels cannot be resizedI think this is a major step backwards, as I only a couple of lines can be seen. The colour of the panel is also much darker than before, which makes the text harder to read.I wonder if this could ba changed?

Why is this still an ongoing issue? Why have SVG previews been disabled since CS4?

I keep getting this all of the sudden:"There was a problem writing to the cache, file/ Volumes..... because of a disk error. The cache will be replaced.I click ok, and I don't notice anything is wrong or odd.The alert is highly annoying because now it's so frequent.Any suggestions? Thanks.

This used to work before the suite went to subscription. For some reason the only way to fix this is to RE-save the SVG with XMP box checked on export. This is an absurd work around since it was a feature that was working previous and I have a large number of SVGs for use on websites.

Hey All--I have the most up-to-date Bridge installed (810303) and I'm trying to create a PDF contact sheet.  Everything seems set up correctly, but when I click the export PDF button, it generates a blank file.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

When I try to access Libraris through Bridge I am told I have to install Creative Cloud in order to access the Libraries. But I have Creative Cloud and I am signed in.

Wow , never seen this nuisance before in Bridge. I'm seeing PS PSD icon occasionally instead of thumbnails. It's a know bugaboo in Mac finder for years, but now in Bridge 2018. Any ideas. Tried some tricks none worked.

Why is it that Bridge cs6 recognizes AI extensions and provides thumbnails but won't provide a thumbnail for SVG extensions. Both are vector formats, and Illustrator exports in that format. Is it because they didn't give thought to it or is the file format to complex or what? Is the newest version capable of showing one?

After updating my Bridge, now when I apply metadata it is hit and miss on files and seems to run slowly. I reapply, and it usually works. I really don't want to be doing this twice. Is there something I can do to fix this? I just updated within the past week.Thanks,Monica

When viewing video files in Bridge and then move focus to another application or even click on desktop, Bridge will stop showing current video frame and rewind to the beginning. This behaviour is really illogical and completely counter intuitive. Especially when working with multiple clips trying to find specific points within them.And it neither displays time under the video...Even free and lightweight media viewers  like fastone will keep displaying videos either playing them or paused on current frame when not in focus!Any solutions for Bridge?Bridge Not in Focus:Bridge In Focus:Fastone Viewer Not in focus:

So, at first, I created a dialog box as I usually do: using automatic layout.In ESTK it looks as I want:In Bridge the same code looks much worse: no outline around the text edit boxes, the drop down list has dark color, some characters in static texts are clipped at the right. But it is still acceptable. However, after I reworked it into TabbedPalette, I was totally disappointed with the result. It looks ugly: some controls are invisible – check boxes, text edit fields, radio buttons, the text in the text edit fields is hardly discernible. I have recently downloaded Adobe Bridge CC 2018 and I have had continual problems loading (generating previews) being very slow or locking up. If locked up, I could not quit Bridge and had for force quite on my MacBook Pro 2013 running latest OP system. I uninstalled twice and reinstalled, but same thing happens. Finally I deleted Bridge CC 2018 altogether and reinstalled Bridge CC 2017. Bridge CC 2017 version works fine. Any ideas Adobe???

I'm trying to import the media I have shot with iPhone 7 128GB on a 3-week road trip with iPhone Camera app and DJII GO app.Yet, when I started Bridge's Import From Device (I've also tried Get Photo From Camera), after about 3 hours import process was frozen (47 GB of data having been imported at that point).I force quitted Bridge and tried to continue, where the import was left, but it seems I cannot proceed [screenshot]What could I do?

I can't seem to control the zoom range in Bridge CC. When I hit the spacebar on a thumbnail and then click to enlarge, it zooms way, way in and takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to do so. Then I have to wait eons for the image to come into focus. Why is it exhibiting this strange behavior??

I own adobe CS4 and have used  Bridge many  years to create galleries.  Suddenly the output window won't appear although the output box is checked. I tried to reinstall PS and Bridge from the CS4 disk but it hangs up at the installation.(WIN7). I have Bridge on my wife's PC but it produces galleries that won't show on chrome on either computer, saying that Adobe Flash Player is needed but I have been unable to download it on either computer. I am technically sophisticated (programmed since 1955, and a retired Dean of Engineering), but not expert on current systems.

I work on a Mac with limited internal storage so when I installed Bridge and Photoshop I moved both folders to an external usb-3 ssd and have been running them from there. They work just fine individually if started from my shortcuts, but Bridge will not call Photoshop, probably because it does not know where the app is located.I looked through the Preferences trying to find some place to specify where the app is actually located, but could not find anything that was appropriate, so I have two questions. First, is there any real problem relocating Photoshop and Bridge? And, second, how can I tell Bridge where PS is located so I can use it to start PS?Thanks.
