Hi community,i've tried everything but i can't find the correct sollution for my very specific problem. Our client uses a naming guideline for their files. For some reason they've added the country code to the end of the file name. For my work i need it in the front but also i need a rule to reverse it when i want to deliver the files. For exampleFile name is:ADOBE-12345_summer20_TestTest_carousel_All_All.pngFile name should be:All_All_ADOBE-12345_summer20_TestTest_carousel.pngCan someone help me with a step by step guide on how to set the rules to achieve that. And also another set of rules on how to change the naming back for delivery.Thank you!Alan
Hi!Ich have around 9000 photos organized in my Lightroom Library. Now I'd like to start working with keywords for the photos to make searching/filtering easier, so I want to apply keywords to all my existing photos as well. I find it easier to keyword photos in Bridge but I don't know if it is possible to transfer the keywords from Bridge to the Lightroom Library. They're the identical files of course, but the keywords don't appear automatically in Lightroom after I've set them in Bridge. Is it possible to transfer these keywords or do I need to re-import all the photos via drag-and-drop from Bridge to Lightroom? Thanks!
Bridge2023 and Bridge(Beta) abnormally consume application memory. This issue frequently occurred with the 2023 version, and it seems to persist in Bridge(Beta), even when simply launching it with no windows open. The attached images show 244GB and 78GB of SWAP being used. The BridgeBeta version consumes up to about 330GB of application memory, and a warning was issued from MacOS. I'm unsure what triggers this. I don't want to create swap files, so when this happens, I have no choice but to reboot. As a result, I'm running a script that checks the memory usage every 5 minutes and terminates or executes the 'kill -9' command if it exceeds 20GB. It's quite bothersome. My system environment is a Mac (M1 ULTRA) running MacOS Ventura version 13.5, with 128GB RAM.
Since updating to Bridge 2024 - while in the Essentials work space on my MacBook Pro Ventura 13.4 , the file names sometimes appear under my images and then sometimes they don't. It seems very buggy. I have looked through the workspace options and all the buttons on the UI but I don't see anything about showing file names. Does anyone have any help with this
How come I can't see my photo tags anywhere else?
Hello,HP ZBook Studio G5Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 The Bridge icon on the taskbar is blank. When I attempt to open the app, I get the message: "This app can't run on your PCTo find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher" Thanks in advance for your help!Mike
I tried unzipping several large archives at once. Bridge got stuck at 22%. I had to cancel and use other tools. Can't Bridge use multicore-enabled open-source Zip tools? My hardware / RAM can hardly be the bottleneck (64 GB).Looking at the screenshot, it seems, that Bridge has reduced my multi-selection to just one archive – but could not chew it either. Archives that large are very common when sharing PSD files.
Adobe Photo Downloader unable to read files from memory card on my Mac.Recognises the card but just gives the following; "This device does not contain any supported media"I'm using a Mac OS Monterey 12.6 and Nikon D850 camera. XQD memory card and reader connected via USB. All was fine until I updated Photoshop to v24.0 and Bridge to v15.0.Have reset preferences and purged caches as suggested in other posts but to no avail. Help!
I have re-purposed some code I found on this forum for creating a subfolder automagically but there is one little tidbit I cannot figure out how to code correctly. The goal is to grab a selection of RAW images, and create a folder with the name of the first image selected and move the images into it. I have functional code that does all of that, but I cannot figure out how to grab the name of the first file for the folder name. I have band-aided the code to ask for a name, but I am hoping that there is an easy solution for grabbing the first file name. #target bridge if(BridgeTalk.appName == 'bridge'){ selItems = MenuElement.create('command', 'Move DSC Images', 'at the end of Thumbnail'); } selItems.onSelect = function(){ try{ var thumbs = app.document.selections; var a = 0; if(thumbs.length < 1) return; var firstFile = prompt("Last 4 digits of first file name") ; if (firstFile== undefined) {return}; var newFolder = new Folder(app.document.presentationPath+"/"+'DS
Is there a way to add or edit the metadata on graphics files in CC Libraries? I have some shared libraries of logos and graphics, and I'd like them to have titles and descriptions so that when I place them in Indesign I can use the XMP/IPTC metadata as alt text. This works fine with graphics files I have locally, I just add the metadata in Bridge, but when I bring up a CC Library in Bridge I don't see any way to add or edit the metadata of the files.
I just updated both Bridge (v. 13.0) and Photoshop (v. 24.0.1) and Bridge does not provide the Image Processor/Photoshop option. I uninstalled it and have tried other versions. I have been working on this for hours on two different Windows computers and my Mac, to no avail. ADOBE, FIX THIS RIDICULOUS ISSUE! WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!!!!
Just updated to Bridge 2022. And duess what??? It now takes forever to load the images thumbnail whenever I would go into a folder. I'd used Task Manager to kill the app. I'd open Bridge again. It would display the thumbnail of the last folder without issues but when I go into another folder again, it would take forever to display the thumbnail images again. Quite frustrating.

I am curious to how much storage Adobe Bridge has? I am needing to store a lot of photos and videos on it.
You know those anxiety nightmares people get sometimes? Like... you're back in college, it's exam week, and you abruptly realize you forgot about a whole class? You meant to drop it months ago but it slipped your mind, so you never attended any lectures, did any readings, or completed any assignments? And the exam is in an hour? Your GPA is going to implode because you forgot about a class for the entire term when you were supposed to be preparing. Bridge 2023 is that class. My theory is that Adobe, busy as it was with the rest of it courseload software, collectively forgot all about Bridge until, like, last Tuesday. Then everybody was all "holy crap, the new Creative Suite rolls out in a week and we forgot about Bridge! Everybody get cracking, quick! Bob: write up six new features to add. Sally: add the features that Bob's writing up. Anna: get your crayons an draw a new UI. Katherine: Coffee! Brett: you're in charge of making it work with Apple Silicon.
Since Lr did not process long IPTC Captions,I downloaded Bridge 14.1.0.257 to try to get a PDF of 4 clicked jpg's.I entered nothing in the PDF Properties I get a an ERROR result after pressing Export to PDF.Does this version of Br do a PDF?
Hi, * I looked through the community about relevant post about similar issues didn't find a solution and want to address my specific issue* In Adobe Bridge I went to move photos from an SD card to external HD, I had two batches of photos on the SD card the latest batch from 6-28-2024 and second older batch from 6-15-2024 I selected the photos right clicked "move to" a new folder on my external HD called 6-30-2024 after they finished moving I deleted them then went out of the SD card and into the external HD folder where I just moved them to start editing and only the older files from 6-15-204 have moved and not the newer photos (one's that I really need) from 6-28-2024 about 30-40 raw .CR2 photos are missing. I should have confirmed they were ALL in there before deleting but I can't ctr-z that, I thought it was ok because I can go restore them in Recycling Bin, but they are not there either? I'm not sure what happened to those newer photos as they didn't move into the respec
I recently migrated to a new MacBook Pro (M3Pro) and PhotoDownloader is no longer opening automatically nor detecting any photos. I spoke with support at length and they could not resolve this issue. I had read in various posts here about turning Rosetta on, but that didn't work. Any other suggestions I might try? Thanks for your help.
Since the last update (I use adobe CC) I cannot download photo's from card to my desktop computer (Windows) using Bridge. When I put the card in the reader it says: G:\ Toepassing niet gevonden (application not found). When I try to download photo's using Bridge (get photo's from camera) it says there are no devices found. The card works, the photo's are on it, because when I try to acces the card I can see all the photo's. I would like to download photo's using Bridge again. Can anyone help me?I tried re-installing bridge, that doesn't work...Please help! Thanks!! Carla
Hi,When using filters with photos in Adobe Bridge, you have to options filtering by date. You have "creation date" and "date and time, original" ( I am not sure if those are what they are called in English, I am using Bridge in my native language.) Am I right to guess that the first one is when the file is created, the second one is when the photo was taken? I am curious to know why, when I am filtering photos on my memory card, those two filtering options sho completely different amount of photos? As I said, I am filtering the photos on my memory card before importing them anywhere, so I haven´t created any new files yet. If for example I choose to filter only RAW-photos on the card and then have a look at the creation date (Jun 24 for example), it might show 190 photos. Then, when I look at the original date and time, it might show something like 220 photos, with the same exact filters. Why is that?
I suspect I know the answer to this but is there anyway that Bridge can be made to recogonse and display Affinity Photo ( .afphto ) files? Your in hope rather than expectation 🙂 Grumpy Hec
Adobe Bridge does not display the directory when viewing the image in the preview window.
