Bridge

When ever I open Bridge on my Mac a system pop up is shown with;“Adobe Bridge 2026.app” would like to access data from other apps. ( see screenshot )I can’t find out what data or other apps data it want to access and how to turn it off so I don’t have to see it on every start up.Any suggestion or info appreciated. 

since the update to v13 (today) i cannot open files to Photoshop (v24) when i use CameraRaw through bridge. Not by 'OPEN' 'OPEN AS OBJECT'' or 'OPEN AS COPY' clicking on eiter of these nothing happens. The only way to open a image in Photoshop through bridge is FILE->OPEN WITH->ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 2023 (DEFAULT)  So not by dubbel clicking on a file or throught the 'OPEN IN CAMERARAW" icon. It wil open in CRaw but i cannot continue to Photoshop Apple M1 Montery v12.6  

Suddenly BRIdge doesnt open anymore on my pc. ZeroThe new version only works with windows 11 but my computer cannot do that.I am looking for a download  to continue with the older version but its nowhere to be found.Can anybody  tell me where or how to find the Bridge version that works with windows 10??Thanks!

Normally i often choose the photos/images by rating 1*, 2*, or 3* in Adobe Bridge, and then move each group of these rated files to another folder in the same disk. Before I can do this way, but after updating my Bridge to the new version 16.0.8.10. I have no loger can do this. Please help me how to fix this issue.

The Custom Metadata extension has been installed in Bridge.A photograph has been selected.It is possible to enter metadata in the standard Bridge metadata fields.However, none of the Custom Metadata fields will accept input.Nothing happens when typing into a Text field. The calendar appears when selecting a Date field, but picking a date has no effect. Drop down lists appear and are fully populated with their selections, but picking on an item in the drop down list has no effect. This occurs in both the “Pet Shop Example” and the “Out-Of-The-Box Example.”Bridge is Version 16.0.7.36It is running on a Windows 11 machine.  

In grid and thumbnail view it will only ever have photos in the top row and I have to scroll right and left to view them, this has only been happening recently and not sure what's happened. I've re-installed Bridge and this is still happening, please let me know if someone has resolved this!

It would be very helpful if the ability to select image “Orientation” within Bridge’s Smart Collection filter existed.  The default Bridge file filter has the ability to select Orientation, but not Smart Collection filters.  This would help automate selection activities by accurately sorting files into Landscape or Portrait orientation. The use of Width and Height within Smart Filter Collections is not efficient and error prone when filtering cropped images.

In Bridge opening images into CR, finished my edits in Photoshop and then saving into a jpg in the same file. In the middle of my session, the saved jpg are not longer showing Bridge. I did F5 to refresh but it did not change anything. 

When I drag and drop files into a collection in Adobe Bridge, Bridge automatically switches to the collection view.For image selection and curation workflows, this interrupts the process because I have to manually navigate back to my original folder after each action.I would like an option to add files to a collection while remaining in the current folder view, for example:A preference setting: "Stay in current folder after adding to a collection" Or drag & drop behavior that does not automatically open the collectionThis would significantly improve efficiency when working with large image libraries and collections.Thank you for considering this enhancement.

When I right-click a .jpg file in Bridge there is no usable option provided by “open with”.  I have tried browsing to Windows Photos app, but it is hidden.  I have also tried changing the Preferences via Edit/Preferences but again Photos is not an option. The only way I can get what I want is by right-clicking the image in Bridge, selecting “Reveal in Explorer”, and selecting “Photos” from the menu provided.Can I not open the image in Photos directly from Bridge?

Bridge ignores the new Light adjustment layer in PSD filesI have found what appears to be a compatibility issue between Photoshop's new Light adjustment layer and Adobe Bridge.Bridge version: 16.0.7.36Photoshop: Current version with the new Light adjustment layerWindows 11 Pro 25H2I edited a PSD in Photoshop and added a Light adjustment layer as the final tonal adjustment. In my case, the settings included approximately Exposure +0.39, Shadows +55, Highlights -13 and Whites +24.The image looks correct in Photoshop, but Bridge displays the PSD as if the Light adjustment layer does not exist. Why can’t I update to Bridge 16.0.6 if my computer works perfectly well, simply because I don’t have Windows 11?Adobe is dropping support for Windows 10. I know it is an old operating system and that it now receives very few updates, but is it really necessary to exclude all the users who are still using it?Bridge is only the beginning. Next November, when the 2027 versions are released, what will happen if you don’t have Windows 11? Will we have to forget about continuing to use Bridge?The easy answer would be to buy a new computer, but is that really an option for everyone? The current prices of RAM, storage, and graphics cards are absolutely crazy, and sadly, they seem likely to keep going up.Wouldn’t it be possible for Adobe to continue supporting Windows 10 for a little longer, especially for applications like Bridge, which shouldn’t necessarily require the latest operating system technologies?

Ich habe sowohl in diversen Foren geguckt als auch Chat GPT befragt, aber der Fehler lässt sich nicht abstellen. Ich habe in der Bridge alle Caches geleert und bin alle Suchoptionen (Bridge-Suche/Windows Desktopsuche) durchgegangen-es ist keine Suche möglich. Auch die komplette Deinstallation und anschließende Neuinstallation der Bridge hat nichts gebracht. Ich verzweifele langsam, da ich das Tool dringend brauche. 

I love Adobe, but for the company to have released software like the latest version of Bridge is astounding. I will happily eat crow if the issues I’m having are mine alone, but as best I can determine, this program is now unusable. Apple M4 MBP - 128 GB - OS Sequoia 15.7.3 -  All I’ve ever needed to do w Bridge is drag a folder of images in and sort them via tags. Sometimes create a contact sheet - in and out, continue my productivity. Now, images seldom drag and drop. I often have to rename the folder they’re in to something like “To Upload”. I’m option-opening the software continuously to reset it and clear the cache. I’ve adjusted Performance an dFile Handling Preferences multiple times to adjust File Processing Size limits. I’ve disabled startup scripts multiple times.  If I get files loaded in through trial and error, the previews will go away if I apply a tag. I make my living with Adobe software. Hi, I keep getting a pop-up when I want to export a PDF file with pictures from Bridge. It wont export, I've tried different computers. Does anyone know what I can do about this.

Since a little earlier this year, I can only keep ONE panel open when in masking mode in Bridge. EG: I can open the LIGHT panel, but if I try to open Color, Effect etc, I can only open 1 at a time, and the other will ‘auto close’. This is highly frustrating. When NOT in mask mode, I can keep the multiple panels open at a time. Only when in mask mode, does this occur.Yes, I have ‘multiple’ selected in the Panel Behaviour settings, and yes, I’ve reset preference, reset workspace etc etc.Is there a fix for this? Having to open each pane each time when masking if a real slowdown, particularly as this was not the usual behaviour until, for me, about 2 months ago. Any ideas???

Adobe Bridge is giving error, is not updating and the previous version is not accessible. Creative Cloud says the version is not compatible with Windows 10. And I must update to Windwos 11. Dear sirs, Microsoft is still supporting Windows 10, until at least Otcober 2027 and my notebook is supported. I’ve got an expensive Lenovo notebook with features I considered important for Photoshop, it costed 1.000 Euros 10 years ago. I’m paying to use Creative Cloud for Photography. You can’t oblige someone to spend money they don’t have for features that eventually they don’t need. More I cannot access Camera Raw.So we have a problem. How can I Install the previous version of Bridge and prevent it from updating and damaging the existing version installed?Kind regards, Cristina

As a photographer I have been using Bridge for over a decade. One of the most important ways I use it is to create PDF documents of low res (but good quality) images to show clients as contact sheets, often with one image per page. I found this to be a quick easy way to create a high res or low res PDF that can be emailed. Recently with the new Bridge updates, the PDF sizes have become exponentially bigger - and therefore not possible to email. I never used to have to resize every image as the Output panel was very good at compressing and doing this for me and creating a usable file size. It is even creating large file sizes from small LR images. I don't know what has happened or if there is any solution to this, but my workflow is now incredibly slow as I try to compress and optimize PDFs in Adobe Acrobat which also is very glitchy and sometimes doesn't work at all. I'm on Bridge 2026, v16.07.36 for Mac (M1 Tahoe, 26.3.1). Importing images into Bridge > Contact sheet for export to my client to check. They include png, jpg and WebP format but have 'unreadable files' messages and random png no previews. Is WebP not supported?

Wie kann ich sie entfernen, ohne dass gleichzeitig die regulären Stichwörter aus meinem Stichwörter-Baum gelöscht werden?

When I display a folder of RAW images from my camera, the thumbnails are being brightened.  I can see the original unaltered thumbnails for a second then Bridge brightens them quickly all as I watch.  Is some sort of profile being applied?  Is this from a change in colorspace?  I’d like to see the RAWs just as they are.  I couldn't find any setting in preferences that would do this.  Thanks in advance.
