When I load the low (no baking) the color goes through from the body to the shirt.But no problems with the edges not being welded, and it only happens in Painter's viewport. Version 9.0.1Window 11
There are 10 meshes that show up unexpectedly as errors under 'matching by name'. I double-checked my mesh in Blender and could find those 10 meshes. I only have 7 meshes for the highpoly group and 7 meshes for the lowpoly group. How should I fix it?
After I imported sp from blender and made bake mesh maps, the effect of paste material ball was reversed, such as brick on brick, soil on stone, I tried various methods but couldn't solve it. i been using substance for quite awhile now and i have been getting more and more crash and critical error, from time to time, just now, 30 minutes ago i just got a critical error, again, not only do substance crash, but it also froze my laptop, my discords and my task bar is just mess up: i got a weird purple box on the left on my screen after reopen substances, not long after is crash again when i tried to export the texture filehappen after the 2nd crash ^ here is my laptop rig: Lenovo legion 5NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPUAMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics32G of ram.win11, OS build: 22621.2428 my substance version: 9.0.1 i have updated my Nvidia diver to 537.58, and my AMD as well yesterday, the critical error happened more then 5 time over the span of 3-4 months, i gotten 3-4 substance file corrupt, is just gone, only my texure map are still there
to preface I have:AMD Ryzen 9 5900HXAMD Radeon RX 6800M GDDR6 unfortunately, every time I attempt any action in Substance Painter, even something as simple as a fill layer, the program freezes and I get this pop-up. I've tried increasing the cash budget to 2000 MB to no effect and I can't seem to find any solution online. any advice is appreciated.
I have found that, with a particular set of geo, substance painter is altering the shape of the geometry.Unfortunately, I can't share screenshots (NDA), but I will describe the issue.I am working on a mesh comprised of several different pieces. A number of which crash into each other. When visibly comparing my original geo in maya to what gets imported into substance I can visibly see that the positions of various pieces have changed and when I look at the ambient occlusion map that is generated by substance when imported to mari I see that there is more shifting around of geo than is obvious by a naked-eye inspection of the geo itself, as the ambient occlusion does not match the actual geo crash points many places even though it looks correct in substance painter.Troubleshooting steps I've tried:- I have generated and exported my ambient occlusion maps multiple times for checking in mari- I have checked many times over to be sure of which geometry I am using in substance.- I've export

I was painting the normal and tried to fix some baking errors on my mesh in SP. I tried this method before, and it works pretty well. Then, I noticed that whenever I paint over the mesh, some weird stains appear on the surface, or I call them specks of dirt. How should I fix it?
Hello, I have been trying to export texture in 4k, in my painter viewport and uvs, everyting seems to be right, but when I export my textures, ecvery one of them has parts that are complety streched mkaing me loose detail in the majority of my model.What am I doing wrong?
My substance painter keeps crashing when i try to paint, add a material, start up the defult MeetMat template, and when i bake. i dont know why this keeps happening and it is really frustrating. I have an AMD RYZEN 5 (5000) series and a AMD RADEON graphics card. I recently downloaded plasticity, could it be crashing because some how the OBJs are rendered differently? please help thanks.
When using a stencil, it paints as if the stencil is offset from where I have it. I have my graphic drivers updated and I have tried different tiling options aswell to no avail. The stencil is a square image and the stencil does work in the 2d viewport but not the 3d viewport. The problem occurs in both perspective and orthographic view.
Hello. I got the same problem in previous version (think that's it`s happen when I migrated materials or something else). Today I installed latest version and problem is here too. When I try to use default smart masks they are working not correct. Whats happend and how I can fix it?Sometimes I can fix it when update detail texture in setting mask, or update generator - but all settings start be default and it`s not usefull.
I am painting a texture using the default soft brush, not using any other features, and it looks fine. but then when i move to a different part of the mesh to paint, these tiny dots appear on the parts i painted previously. They appear over time, and always when i'm not looking. I cannot make progress on my texture as going to fix the problem in 1 spot makes it appear on another.
Sometimes while working in the program, I press ctrl s to save, basically everything works fine, but it happens that at this moment it is written from below that the saving is going on, but it does not stop. Interestingly, before this bug happens, I stop loading icons and thumbnails of materials and textures. repeated attempts to save create even more saving processes (this can be seen in the screenshot) that do not end. HELP!
Hello,I try to export a project with different parts and different texture sets ( Output template : PBR Metallic Roughness ).Everything looks good, except for only one of the texture sets, the BaseColor texture gets exported with transparency on the sides. Other parts looks good, but for some reason, it appears like I have some hidden rectangular gradient or mask that doesn't show on the viewport but on export..Please any idea about what could cause that ? Thanks a lot !!
So to keep it simple, I was finished with a model in Blender, and decided to create some textures for it. UV-Unwrapped the whole model, and it's child parts (each with different materials). The Unwrapping worked fine in blender, and so I continued to Substance painter. Baking the mesh maps inside Substance painter revealed the artifacts shown.I have checked for any Overlapping UVs, and even tried unwrapping the UVs while importing the mesh to substance painter.No clue what might be happening, I only have around 20 hours in Substance Painter, and I have indeed checked other related forum posts without much luck.
I have tried baking with both curvature methods and this happened with another model yesterday too, only thing that fixes it is a restart, it's even kind enough to allow me the option to save my work before I close and reopen it. It's not a crash, it's just some weird visual bug, it's rendering the software completely useless and stopping my workflow in its tracks, I have tried it with the metal edge wear generator, I have tried it with the other edge wears, I have checked my model for ngons, checked the UV maps and made sure the normals are all oriented correctly, I went to delete the cache but there wasn't anything in the cache folder to delete, my paging file is large enough for Substance and I've tried baking with lower/higher resolutions but it happens regardless, I'm a bit lost for things to try now. I cannot download material from the library it shows it's licensed when I go to download, it says"couldn't download the asset" Send to painter also does nothing
I have no pen pressure on Substance painter 2022 steam version. I updated my tablet driver, reinstalled substance painter. nothing works. is this a bug? the verison of substance painter im using is 8.3.1
I signed up for the educational Substance 3D suite, but when I did that, Adobe created a duplicate account with the exact same email and password that I can't log into on my computer. How in the world do I fix this? Can I merge the accounts? Can I log into the other one somehow? I can't find the option to do so. I'm so lost.
i used some materials that i download from substance painter library and they works perfectly but today i was trying to use them again but But this seam came out and i don't know what's wrong with it can any one help me
Everytime I open a project, it gets loaded fine and it's possible to see everything clearly. The moment I interact with anything (adding layers, trying to paint, using smart materials, changing texture set list) every texture disappears leaving behind the empty white/gray square checkboard pattern. I already uninstalled and reinstalled 3d painter once and verified the integrity of the files, I updated all my drivers but the problem persists. Hi everyone, It seems Substance painter sometimes loads textures and at other times would not dare to do so... also same for saving projects, it worked this morning but I had issues starting that sometimes it would not save anything, despite allowing me to exit without saving and no warning.
