  Was about to work on some projects today, only to be greeted to this Alert. I bought a perpetual licese off steam before adobe bought them out. I thought a perpetual license was forever to use. I'm not really sure what to do next or who to contact to get this issue resolved.

Hi, I've been having the same problem for a long time, and it is that the program crashes, I try to uninstall, close the program, and open it again, but I can't find what's the problem. I have the version for Steam Substance 2024, and my laptop is:Windows 11 HomeProcessor Intel Core Ultra 9 185H 2.50 GHzRAM 32.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor And always when I try to paint or add a material the program stops working and crashes, someone can help me, because I can change anything and work in my mesh 😞  

 So, as you can see I made a fill layer, added a black mask and then added a generator to it, but when I search generators in the generator tab I don't get any. Is this supposed to happen?

My .fbx file does not appear?I can use FBX Review to see the image, but when Import to Adobe.I gett a blank page?Please see attached.Many Thanks,Gerard

Trying to launch substance off steam with terminal to look at whats going on, im seeing no errors in the terminal on what is going on. I have no clue whats preventing it from launching. I am able to launch 9.1.2 version of substance but that is the only version that will work on my computer. if there is a different log to see the actual log of substance please tell me the directory to look at. steam + substance are both installed locally on here so I can provide the file.Specs:Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 5800xRAM: 32gb DDR4GPU: AMD MSI Gaming Trio RX 7900 XTXLinux os: Arch

So I'm editing a black mask using the Mask Editor generator on one part of the model and it's working fine, but when it's time for a different part of the model it lags tremendously.I've attached a video demonstrating the problem. Hello!I've just installed Painter.I tried to download Ribbed Plaster material. It looks like it is loading but after that I've got just white material instead of downloaded one.Could anybody advise what's wrong with my steps?Regards  

I always get a freeze when renaming or hiding a mesh using the texture set list.This happens regardless of what model is imported.If I use the English version of sp it will still appear. The configuration I am using is CPU i9-13900k GPU RTX4090 RAM: 138GB System window11

Hello.I have been working with a figure from the daz studio library. I was able to get the back tattooing done, no issue.Today I was going to move on and add the scars I need to the face map.open the project and went to the baked maps.(I have followed a tutorial vid)the torso was fine, arms fine, legs fine...no issues.I dragged the face over to apply it and...whiteI removed it.Tried again. White.checked the layers.Checked the "material tab" it showed the map I tried to apply.I went and started fresh. Following all the steps in the vid. Saving it triangulated, collecting the maps, importing, "baking"....again arms, torso, legs...fine. ANYTHING on the face...white.(see attached screen shot)I did notice on the bottom a red notice saying issue with bitmaps?But no other information.How do I fix this so I can apply the scars I need?Thank you in advance.System: win 11Nvidia 3060 tiall updates.

Hi,So I purchased Substance Painter 2024 from Steam a few days ago. I only noticed today ( never read the features on the product store page ) that i am not eligible for any updates after the end of this month. So what about existing known issues/bugs with the current version i have,  or hotfixes applicable to the current version i have? Do I basically have 29 days left in hope that any updates dropping from Adobe to fix those will come in time before the end of the month, or else be bang out of luck to get any more "support/fixes" for the version I'm on ? . If so, that's just insane to basically grant a month of support/updates ( i think it should rather be 12 months from purchase date ).Had I known this, I'd probably have refunded the purchase, but I can't as I've now used it for more than 2 hrs.Thanks

For me the color picker tool doesn't show up when Ipressthe hotkey "I". It's  really slowing  y workflow for my current project so I would like to know if this is an issue that can be solved ?

After multiple attempts to reimport the mesh with various UV arrangements I can't get this mesh to NOT show UV seams. The mesh is imported from maya with smoothed edges, no layers or textures are applied. The seans are visible before and after baking, so not sure if baked maps have anything to do with it. Depending on the UV layout, some seams become visible, while others are no longer visible. The shape of the mesh doesn't allow me to keep it all together. Screenshots added below to illustrate the problem. This is where the stitches are visible: This is where they are not visible, though there are seams there. Rearranging the UV's creates makes them visible here on the other hand. This is the mesh with the current UV layout. Please help me understand what this is. This never used to be a problem before the 2023 update.  

When using Alt+Click on the only visible texture set to activate all the others again, Substance Painter just crahses.- If needet, i can provide the Autosave File. - For reference please view the attached video.- Log-File was already send via Report-Function PopUp on startup 

Hello everyone,I’m facing an issue where my Huion tablet’s pen pressure is not working in Substance Painter, and I’ve tried several steps to fix it without success. Hello, I am receiving this error upon attempting to open a Substance Painter file.Both versions of Adobe Substance Painter both on my personal computer, and work computer are the same, to my knowledge. When searching for this exact error, I actuallt can't find anything about it anywhere. 

I've been working on my mesh for a couple of days and everything worked fine. But now when I add a new layer and add a mask to it, the mask is extremely pixelated. This isn't a UV issue where the UV is too small, because the rest of the layers aren't pixelated. Any guess as to what the problem is? Thanks for the info/help! I'm using version 8.1.3On WindowsI don't know the steps to reproduce as it just happened.Expected result would be for the texture to not be pixelated.

I tried using a custom cage again today and noticed its still brokenThe preview window will show the custom cage properly but when you bake and have multiple texturesets it will give you a jumbled bake results .However when i tried importing the same meshes just excluding ones that were a second textureset and did the same for the custom cage file the baking worked properlyits a bug within the software that has been there for a while now

I've encountered a persistent bug in Substance Painter related to the Height channel at the seams of UV islands. When working with the Height channel, an annoying ridge becomes clearly visible between UV islands. This issue has been known for a long time, and many users have gotten used to it. However, can't this be fixed at the program level within Substance Painter so that it works correctly? I understand that in real-time rendering, padding between UV islands isn't applied due to performance costs. Nevertheless, it would be beneficial if this function could be enabled on individual layers or through some other method. It's 2025, and it's surprising that this problem still hasn't been addressed. I hope the development team can look into this issue and consider implementing a solution.

Hello,  We have a lot of files corruption on spp file openinglike :[EngineBitmapLoad] Failed to decode bitmap.[ResourceImage] Can't serialize empty surface.[Hdf5Archive] Archive 'project.spp' appears to be corrupted.[Project] Failed to save project to ...[Project management] Save failed After copying file on local hdd and flush the %temp% folder, we can work. We must be able to open/work/save on mapped drive, and share a library beetween users. Our structure count about 20 artists working on mapped drive on windows 11 over Nas network. Substance Painter V 10.1.1 Every time i remove micro height from curve or AO generator, Painter getting not responding

Hello. Let's start with some basic information:1. Substance 3D Painter 2022 (Steam) - Version 8.3.12. PC - Windows 103. I'll describe it further4. To prevent the computer from crashing I was working on textures for my projects as usual. I noticed that Height in my file gives a noticeable "ladder" - a transition between different values ​​in the Height gradient, as if it were an 8-bit texture. For the sake of testing, I opened the default MeetMat sample and did not notice a problem with Height in this file. I started checking what could cause the "ladder" to appear and changed the scene settings.When I set the texture quality to 4096, Specular quality to "Ultra (256 spp)" and try to uncheck Bent Normal, the PC restarts. I have no idea why this sequence causes a restart. Hello, I have this problem when I start painting on a layer, some kind of grid is displayed. It's definitely not the model, I checked other projects, they have the same problem. I also changed the display of shaders, it didn't help. What could be the problem?
