I can create from “New” and set the size for a white background working start, but “Generate Image” is grayed out on both the contextual bar and the drop downs. I’ve used it before successfully. …The only thing I could find in searching is to make sure that under   File >  Preferences > Plugins > Enable Generator checkbox is ticked.But I checked that and, as you can see in the second image, it is ticked.…I’m not sure what more to do and really wanted to generate some images for a newsletter I’m doing. I'm on a Win 11 PC with a current subscription to Adobe Creative Suite.  

Hello, I am new to Photoshop and experience problems with no opacity stops showing up on the gradient map. only the white & black color stops at the bottom when the gradient editor. (as shown in screenshot). Now please know opacity stops showing up for gradient overlay in fx.   Iv'e looked at other discussions regarding classic gradient than going to legacy but. Im not the best at navigating and it is not showing up in my setup or i just dont know how to get there. please let me know if there is any other way and explain as if I am completely new cause I am. I did try resetting all gradient preferences but that did not help or change a thing. I was following tutorials before and it did appear to be there before but now is not showing up. 

My Photoshop CS5.1 non-Creative Cloud “purchased product” that has been running flawlessly on my 6-year-old Dell Inspiron computer suddenly, and without invitation, turned into an upgraded 30-day trial version.  It has since expired and with every attempt to reload it from my disk, it will not run.  I have even downloaded the program from my Adobe account with the same results.  A pop-up request to enter my serial number is all I get when I try to run it.  My original serial number does not work for the 30-day version; only my CD version.So, here’s the history:  This happened about 6 weeks ago (July 2024) I did all the usual things that tech support suggested but nothing worked.  In the process of using their CC clean up tool, multiple times, I managed to also uninstall Photoshop Premier Elements and now can’t get that to work properly either.  (When the purple editor screen loads it immediately closes then nothing happens).  I have also totally

If you're a nvidia gsync user and experiencing mouse stuttering in Ps (and all Adobe apps), try turning off gsync to see if that resolves the issue. Basically what happens is that any activity in an Adobe app will result in 2-3 seconds of micro-cursor stuttering (looks like frame rate dropping) and the occasional 3-4 seconds of cursor freeze. Disabling gsync fixes the issue. This behavior appears only in Adobe apps and none other.     {Thread title edited by moderator}

Photoshop 24.0.0 Windows 11 Pro 22H2 build 22621.675   After running Windows HDR Calibration which is reccomended in the display settings   It will save a profile and use it, for some peers it helped their displays greatly.   Photoshop is now displaying UI colors incorrectly.        The color white appears green in most cases, amoung other colors.    The actual image displays correctly after the profile is set. But the rest is broken. these are my settings.   If turning off HDR, and rebooting photoshop with the same settings fixes it. But for my own ease of use I keep HDR "on" on my PC for various reasons. Considering this is native functionality with windows at this point, it really needs to be fixed.   

A user could not understand why the blue Export button in the File > Export As... dialog was not mapped to the Enter key which was his choice over using the mouse.   I found out that to get that button to work with the Enter key, the user would have to use the Tab key to get to it. Hi guys,   I am using PS 2023 and I really don't want to update as I don't wany ANY of the AI tools etc. Anyway, when I load up PS my home screen is completely blank. I have tried every fix I can find and nothing is working and it's very very frustrating.    I have renamed the UXP, CEP and Extensions folders in all manner of orders and still nothing.   This is really annoying and seems like a problem I shouldn't have to deal with.    Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Hello, I just updated to Photoshop 2024 but I cannot get it to work with GPU acceleration. When I start Photoshop, I get this error:    I am running a Windows 10 PC with two Nvidia RTX 3090 video cards and a 5950x CPU.    So far, I have tried: - Setting Photoshop and sniffer.exe to use my, uh, 'high performance 3090' as opposed to my 'power saving' 3090 (excellent work, Windows)   - Updated to the latest Nvidia studio drivers and installed all Windows 10 updates   - Removed 'sniffer.exe' from the Photoshop folder as suggested, causes Photoshop to not boot.  - Enabled "Older GPU Mode" in the Technology Previews, get same error so I disabled it again.  -  Tried setting the GPU in Nvidia Control Panel, but I don't have a "Preferred GPU" setting like a laptop or PC with integrated graphics.  - Disabled SLI - Uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 2024 - Manually ran sniffer.exe, it sees the video cards just fine   Thanks for the

Photoshop is constantly crashing when I adjust an adjustment curve. This problem has got much worse to the point where I can no longer use adjustment layers!   I'm using Apple Mac Book Pro M1 Max    I have done a clean Photoshop install and replaced my preference file.   I am on the latest Mac os Sequoia 15.1 (24B83)   I am on the latest Photoshop 26.0   I have nothing else running and still, it crashes.   Any ideas?

Just downloaded Photoshop 2024 today. When entering the Liquify filter, the mouse moves on its own, jumping all over the place. This makes the Liquify filter unusable. Anyone else seeing this?

Dear all, For a few months now I have issues using clone stamp.I take a sample using my ALT key and then clone it. However, when I put them next to eachother the cloned part is always lighter than the original. Before, it was the same color as sampled. Does anyone else experience this? And is there a solution?Thank you

Drop down pop up is UNDER the photo instead of behind it. I shouldn't have to move the photo to see the drop down box, right??   This problem is coming from Beta release, and ADOBE team did not fix it, insted now bring it to oficial release. I'm trying to measure 16 bit rgb values in an image (open in 16 bit mode). The two dynamic readouts at the top of the Info panel display 16 bit values. The first color sampler can be set to display 16 bit (by clicking on the sample's eyedropper in the info panel). However, the second sampler (and every suceeding one) have the bit depth choices greyed out. Anyone know why? See the image below showing greyed out bit depth choices for the second sampler. When I was making Fake 3D using path assignment for my course I had an issue with stroke options for path.   When I choosed Stroke Path - Mixer Brush Tool I got a result from Pattern Stamp When I tried Stroke Path - Healing Brush there I got result from Mixer brush.   I didn't check all options on the Stroke Path list but there simd to be a mix-up.   Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.3.0 20250122.r.156 bfca642 x64 Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit   Steps to reproduce: 1. Create mixer brush (for example circle with gradient) 2. Create path with any pen tool 3. Go to Paths - Work Path - Stroke Path 4. Choose "Mixer Brush tool"   Expected result: path is stroked with mixer brush that was created in step 1 Actual result: path is stroked with pattern and brush size from Pattern Stamp Tool  

I'm not sure if this is a common issue. I use Photoshop on my iPad. I have used it for over two years to do all of my design work and it usually doesn't have any issues. Here recently (Since the last update), I have noticed some files disappearing. When I exit the file that I have been editing a message pops up in the corner saying the "file has been promoted to a new document". And then it disappears and I'm not able to find it anywhere on Photoshop. It's also not on my Creative Cloud.    Has anyone else experienced this and how can I fix this? It's annoying to work on a project and then exit the project only for it to disappear.    Please help!

The first time I used the ‘Remove Background’ feature in Photoshop, a pop-up window appeared saying ‘For detailed results, process Remove Background through the cloud.’ When I clicked ‘Try Cloud,’ it refined the background better than without cloud processing. Now, it doesn’t ask me anymore to remove the background through the cloud. How can I reactivate that function? Thanks in advance for your help!

I updated to MacOS 11.6.2 this morning, and now my photoshop Export As is showing blank fields and gives the error message "No valid Asset to Export." I've tried on multiple files which exported before. I'm using Photoshop 23.1.0. Note: I was able to set the Export Preferences to "Use Legacy Export As" and that is working.

Hello, the font window doesn't come up in the original position, but it comes up in the weird middle position, how do I get the font window to float in the original position?   The version is the latest version.
