Photoshop 2024Mac Retina, OS 12.7.1In PS2024, it's come to my attention that the green "zoom" button on each doc window is no longer a green "zoom" button. It's now an "expand" button that pops a doc to full screen, which is a feature I never, ever wanted and will never, ever use. In order to restore the "zoom" function, you have to roll over the green button and hold down the "option" key.In other words, "zoom" is no longer the default after...how many versions? I've lost count.Changing long-standard defaults, forcing us to change our reflexive workflow, is terrible UI. If you want to introduce a new feature, don't ram it in as a default. If we have to find a fix by accident, we're not being well served as your customers. 

In last updates I'm having problem seeing brush (paint and healing) cursor when working with colors similar to cursor grey (grey or brown midtones for expamle). Sometimes cursor changes to white, but for very short time and very randomly. So it's really hard to see where I'm just gonna paint or heal. It is really annoying and tiring.

Hello!I tried to stroke the path with the Mixer Brush Tool, but it never worked the way it used to work.Every time PS applies some random or preset Mixer Brush settings.Here is the screen record I used this method a long time ago pretty often with older versions of PS and it worked fine.  Any Ideas?Should I install the older version of Photoshop to use this tool with the paths, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, when trying to fill a path with the mixer brush tool, the texture of the fill changes. I would appreciate your help 🙂

In the latest update of Photoshop 25.11.0 the keyboard shortcut for foreground and background color picking has been missing.

Whenever i use my mouse on photoshop, it draws as a normal proper sized brush tool. But when i use my stylus to draw, it immediately erases. even though i have pressed on the brush tool button and the brush tool button is highlighted, it erases. please help!

when I try to paint with a brush, a black background appears around the brush area!

I  am having an issue with my Pen pressure in the brush settings on photoshop, I have done everything to try to fix the problem by the followingI've uninstalled my huion drivers and reinstalled themI updated the drivers for my huion tablet 13 I restarted my computer multiple times even shut down I tried to put the usb and plug it in a different port, and the HDML cable I updated my computer I unplugged the wires and put them back  I tried that method with where you put  a certain text file in the photoshop settings and had no luck I even updated PhotoshopAny fix to this?Next to the pen pressure it has a little triangle with an exclamation point in the middle of the triangle.   

I installed PS (25.11.0) on a new computer, long time user.This is a brand new Photoshop installation, the only thing I did was set color preferences.Every time I render an intermediate layer there are what look like blue crop lines around the image. If I pull on a handle a cropped version of the image is superimposed in a new layer while the original layer remains. If I press enter that smaller version of the image appears in its own layer.The only way to get rid of the lines is to flatten the image.They appear again as soon as I render an intermediate layer.I've never seen this before, I can't find any way to get PS to display images on the desktop properly.I see that the Free Transform tool is checked under Edit. There seems to be no way to turn this off (I never clicked it on). I attached a screen shot of the nearly unusable PS desktop.   

My last two composite images have been corrupted.I am downloading upscaled images from Midjourney, then upscaling them using Topaz Gigapixel/Topaz Photo and saving them as Tiffs.I combine these images in Photoshop, creating files of between 2GB-3GB Tiff file size, which Photoshop insists I save as PSBs. Once they are saved in Lightroom, they seem to get corrupted: either they cannot be opened in Photoshop or they have a glitchy/pixelated look when opened in Photoshop.Any suggestions will be much appreciated.Thanks!Using - Apple Mac Studio Desktop PC - M2 Ultra chip with 24core CPU, PS and LRM on iCloud.

Hello all, I have run into an issue when opening Adobe Photoshop. When I open it, I receive the error "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140_CODECVT_IDS.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program might fix this problem." I looked on previous forums and they all say to install the C runtime but that did not solve the issue for me. I also signed out of the application that did not solve it and restarted the computer that did not solve it. uninstalled the application that did not solve it. I have also tried to do the dll-files.com but still could not figure out how to get rid of this error. Does anyone know of any other solutions?This is on a Windows 11 Pro Edition Desktop.  

Hi,I just updated my MacOS to the most recent version of Sonoma 14.5. I was working on Photoshop files right before I updated and after the update, they would perpetually load and make Photoshop 2024 "not respond". I then updated Photoshop 2024 and it still is having the same problem. I can create new projects and open ones that have recently been created, but most past files will not open. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Photoshop actions started acting weird. in grayscale mode, It stops to open a dialog box. This should happen only when there is a modal included at this particular step of the action.  This issue is apparent only with grayscale images. In RGB mode the action works as it should. Why is this happening? It used to be working fine before.

Has anybody had problems with Photoshop interfering with cursor processing in other apps ? It often happens when you have it on in the background. I have seen it in several apps and even in the FInder. It comes and goes, so it's not always there. It's especially annoying when you work with apps relying heavily on cursors changing and giving instructions to the user. For the most part, it seem to go away if you turn off Photoshop, so I'm pretty sure it's caused by Photoshop. 

I recently updated Photoshop because there's always an annoying pop-up trying to convince me to update the version every time I open the program. After the update, I used the software and tried to save the psd file into JPEG and there was an error message that said I could not save it because there was not enough RAM.The same thing happened when I used just a brush or eraser. I did fix the memory usage capacity to max in preference and did the purge thing. None of those works.I basically can't do anything with this software right now and I am paying a monthly subscription for not being able to use it.Please fix or let me revert it back and never send a pop-up message trying to force me to update ever again if the update can only make things worse.

This is a new problem in version 25.11. My set up is to use a Wacom Cintiq tablet for drawing, with an instance of my document on the Wacom and a second instance on my primary monitor.As of 25.11, any changes made to the document on the Wacom are not reflected on the primary display until the window ON the primary display is interacted with, at which point it updates. Upon rolling back to the previous release of Photoshop, the issue disappears. Photoshop Version: 25.11Platform: Windows 11 10.0.22631 Build 22631

The generate option has been stacked into a pointless sub-menu option - why - so silly and pointless. It is a bad customer experience. Please revert. Don't give an opinion - not interested - just want functionality to remain logical and sensible. 

Hello, I have a very serious problem with the 2022 version of Photoshop and Illustrator, every time I use the Brush Tool in Photoshop, moving the cursor causes a complete disruption of the display screen, screen flickering, it is the same case in Illustrator when I use the Image Place option, moving the cursor causing the screen to flicker. Let me mention, the only way I managed to solve the problem was by restarting the laptop, the problem would not appear, but it becomes irritating that I have to restart the laptop every time when using the Adobe program in order for it to work normally. I would like to mention that this happens in versions from 2021 to the latest versions of the programs themselves. I looked for fixes on the Internet, I tried to change the preferences of the graphics settings, it didn't help, I upgraded to the latest drivers for the graphics card, it still didn't help. When  new created  file , need to save,  save as,  save as copy ...    the PS show me this screen,  it sucks.
