Hi Adobe Team,I’ve run into a significant performance issue with the new Premiere Pro 2026 (v26.0.1) regarding media relinking over SMB, which seems to be a clear regression compared to the 2025 (2025.6.4) version.The IssueIn Premiere Pro 2025, the initial relink/indexing of a large project (multiple TBs) takes some time, but once the metadata is cached, subsequent launches are fast, but still takes some unnecessary time. In Premiere Pro 2026, this "warm-up" benefit is gone. Every single time I open the project, Premiere spends the same full duration relinking and scanning the media. It’s as if the application is failing to commit the file-path metadata to the local cache or is forcing a deep re-scan on every launch, regardless of whether the files have moved.My SetupI’ve tested this thoroughly on a high-end setup to rule out hardware bottlenecks: Clients: New Mac Studio M4 Max (14/40-cores), 128GB RAM. Network: 10GbE to clients, 100GbE uplink to the switch. Configuration: MTU 9000

Hi,Since updating to the latest version of Premiere Pro, the Comparison View (Lumetri Color → Color Wheels & Match) is no longer functioning correctly.The reference frame slider does not navigate the timeline It is impossible to properly select a reference frame As a result, the automatic Color Match does not workI have tested this with:multiple sequences different clips and formats reference clips placed directly in the timelineThe issue persists consistently.I also tried:restarting Premiere clearing media cache switching renderer (GPU / Software Only)No change.This workflow was working correctly before the update, so it seems related to the latest version.Is anyone else experiencing this issue or found a workaround?Thanks

Mac OS Tanhoe and Premiere 2026 26.0.2 build 2. When I import RED Gemini footage the Output Transform Settings gamma curve gets changes to BT1886 from Log 3G10 meaning I can't preview a log image at all which is no good for grading. This is in the raw video settings tab. On the same shoot we used a RED Komodo shooting R3D too and it imports and the gamma curve sticks to LOG3G10 as normal. I installed Premiere 25 and imported the footage and it worked fine so it definitely seems like a problem with Pr 26

I’m enjoying how fast PP 2026.0.2 loads.However, it’s pretty buggy. In particular, my guides and overlays disappear frequently when I click between windows. The only way I know to get them back is to close and re-open the project.

For bins with lots of clips in them, Set Poster Frame can be invaluable in quickly seeing which clips are which, as many of the clips I work with start with black, so the default Poster Frame of the first frame of the clip isn’t useful. I used to have no problem using Set Poster Frame. However, now, whenever I try to use it, nothing happens. I upgraded to PP 2026.0.0 and it still doesn’t work. I’m on a MacBook Pro M2 Max 2023 OS 26.3.

I send it to Audition to convert a stereo recording into mono (because Audition’s stereo mixing feature is nice).But when I save it and I’m back in Premiere, the new MONO clip only plays in one side!I know this is a bug because it gets fixed whenevver I do something with the clip like stretching or trimming it. 

Mac M1 MaxOS - Sequoia 15.2RAM: 64GB Premiere Pro 2025.1 In the team project... multicams are showing as view-only / read-only... No other collaborators are altering the sequence, the tracks are locked. All collaborators have published/updated the project and that does not correct it. The asset is showing as up to date, with none of the collaborators working inside of the asset (typically, you see the collaborators icon next to assets they are working on) This is specific to multicams. When it is read-only, it does not allow you to lay in markers / adjust gain in a sequence where the MC lives / lock tracks in a seq where the multicam lives / set in and out in the multicam that is showing as read only. Occassionally a restart of the project solves it, but inconsistently. Premiere moves the focus away from the timeline without me telling it to.  Sometimes this happens after pasting a clip in the timeline.  Naturally this makes my next commands not work, because focus has moved to the project window.  It's a waste of time, disrupts flow and is super stupid.  Others have commented on this as well.  Adobe, please fix a bug for once.  

I’m getting “Error Code: 1609891835 - Premiere Pro could not start audio playback” on specific timelines after downgrading a project from v26 to v25.5.Here’s what I’ve done so far: Deleted all media cache files from Premiere and ~/Library/Cache Changed playback device to Adobe SRT in Preferences Tried different sequence settings (ProRes, H.264) Reinstalled audio drivers The issue only happens on sequences edited in v26, even after downgrading. I've done some audio repair on a video clip that has already been edited into multiple sequences. I could open up each sequence 1 by 1 and select the clip, hit in point, copy the in point and paste it into the revised copy of the audio and then alt drag it or hit replace with clip, however, that would take forever with how many cuts there are from the source.So instead, I made a sequence that has the original video with the revised audio paired to it. All settings match the original source clip, timecode most importantly. I hit the Replace With Clip > From Source Monitor - Match Frame, and to my surprise, it does not match frame. Sometimes it shoots out an error, "The source clip lacks sufficient head material to match to the desired frame." And other times it does replace the media, but totally ignoring the match frame part and just replaces it at the first frame of the video.I've tried multiple different work arounds such as making it into a mutlicam sequence, experimenting w

Issue:Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder stall at 0% when “Copy Media” has been selected in the “import settings” within the “import” tab.Steps to reproduce:Insert SD Card - Sony FX6 Camera Acquisition Launch Premiere/Create a New Project - Project settings are set to an external SanDisk USB-C Drive formatted as APFS. Within “Import” Browse to Untitled/private/XDRoot/ and select clip(s) Under “Import Settings” toggle on “Copy Media” and select the “Copy With MD5 Verification” preset and “Same as project” copied files destination. Select “Import” Observe that Adobe Media Encoder launches and the selected clips are populated into the “Queue” as expected. Observe that the status bar never moves. Observe that “Stop Queue” is available indicating that the Queue is running. Observe that Adobe Premiere Pro “Ingest Job Status” remains at 0% in the “Progress Dashboard” window. As the title states. This morning after updating I was simply trying to cut a video file over top to stay at it’s preferred frame. Once I cut the layer at the preferred point I right clicked to Add Frame Hold, yet no matter what I did the frame would not hold. It would either create another cut and not frame hold, or it would do nothing and not frame hold. Other users in the past recommended right clicking and Clicking Ok once you click on Hold Frame Options, but that did not work as intended either. Obviously an easy work around is to just take a snapshot of the preferred layer at the preferred time and reimport it, but the frame hold saves me several clicks and is easier for project hand off.  

After opening a new project, next to the media browser and library panels, project panel doesn’t show up anymore, and it’s not possible to add it from the window panel neither.

I've submitted this bug several times now.  2 things: how do we know if adobe has acknowledged a bug? do they respond to let you know? 2nd thing, the bug itself:   take a nested sequence, insert it onto timeline.  Add another layer in the nested sequence, apply time remmapping.  Sequence will go black before it reaches the end of the sequence. This vid below demonstrates that it is not the normal behavior of a time remmapped clip.  Most of the time when I encounter this bug it is when the original footage is not the same res as the final sequnce.   [hyper link removed by author request]   [Typo removed from title. — Mod.]

When exporting individual clips in Premiere Pro, once the export is complete, both the Source Monitor and Program Monitor panels close automatically. After that, the panels become unusable and cannot be restored from the workspace settings. The only way to get them back is by restarting Premiere Pro.

Audio channels Premiere pro 26 - The audio channels in my Premiere 26 version make the sound I use uneven. I have tried everything to fix it but nothing works. I can't do my work like this.

I am reposting and updating this, as the issue was closed with no fix and I'm still having issues creating long credit rolls in the text/graphics tools (formerly, Essential Graphics)I need (and I have to believe others do as well) is be able to copy and paste a credit list for a credit roll. I have been told, that long credit rolls are possible in EGP (the text tool), but the text has to be in separate layers. In the old title tool, you could create a paragraph text box and copy and paste your credit list from a formatted MS Word document and the formatting would follow. However, in EGP I am clicking and dragging the text box to create a paragraph text box, and when I try to paste all my text into that box, it pastes the first part. As I drag the bottom of the box to increase the paragraph box size and include all the text, with every expansion of the text box, the UI becomes less and less responsive, to the point where it pretty much grinds to a halt.To better illustrate what I am wan

In Premiere 2026 whenever I insert paste, even though I position the playhead on the last frame of the outgoing clip, a single frame of that clip (the one I am positioned on) gets moved the end of the clip I am inserting. Then I have to go to the end of the newly pasted clip and remove the single frame at the end of the edit.  Weirder issue - If I advance the playback head one more frame to the right, so that it is now on the first frame of the clip which is about to be moved right after the paste insert command, then there is STILL a single frame artifact….and this is the weird part, the single frame is pulled from the B side clip of the clip that follows the pasted clip in previous location (wherever I copied it from). I have double, triple, and quadruple checked my in/out points on the clip I am copying. I am definitely not setting my in/out points one frame too far on the either the A side or the B side of the clip that I am copying. But the bottom line is that I cannot copy, then

Not sure which version this started on, but is definitely present on 25.4.0. We've been exporting AAFs and OMFs to our sound engineers for many years now, but this one is certainly a head scratcher.. We are working inside a fairly large Premiere Production, I'm not sure if this happens only in Production environment but I've done enough testing that I can consistently reproduce it. We typically have 3 track layout, A1 has host audio (a roll), and A2 and A3 have broll audio. Nothing fancy.  After exporting AAF, Pro Tools and Audition would import 4 tracks instead of 3 with all sorts of anomalies, duplicate audio, missing audio, cross fades turning into end and start fade outs etc...  I've tried every imaginable setting on the AAF export dialogue, but what ultimately solved this entire issue was UNLOCKING all of the tracks prior to AAF export... (We always lock our tracks after we lock picture so nothing gets accidentally bumped).  Incredible that

Oi pessoal!Estou com um problema estranho na aba Text → Transcript do Adobe Premiere Pro 2025.Quando o Premiere transcreve meus vídeos em inglês (idioma padrão), o botão Delete funciona normalmente — consigo apagar pauses e filler words sem problema.Mas quando eu traduzo a transcrição para o português, o botão Delete fica cinza/inativo, e não consigo remover as pausas nem as palavras de preenchimento.Percebi que isso acontece com qualquer vídeo:Em inglês → Delete funcionaEm português (traduzido) → Delete desativaParece que, ao traduzir, o Premiere “congela” o texto e ele deixa de ser reconhecido como transcrição original, apenas uma camada de tradução.Mesmo assim, eu gostaria de saber se existe alguma forma de manter o texto em português e continuar podendo editar as pausas (ou se é uma limitação do sistema mesmo).Alguém mais está passando por isso ou encontrou alguma solução?Valeu!

Since I cannot find my previous bugreport after the redesign of Adobe community, not even in my profile > recent posts I have to start another one. This time it concerns the fresh 26.0 version of Premiere Pro.Render and Replace feature is glitchy in v. 26.0. It fails with timeremapping. Steps to reproduce:start an empty project, import media, cut it on your timeline take one clip and timeremap it. Try to render and replace. Result: Render and replace fails in vertical sequences. Steps to reproduce:from the previously created horizontal sequence copy and paste a clip in a newly created vertical sequence.  Fill the screen with it using the context command. Render and replace. Sometimes you get an error like above, sometimes you get this one: Render and replace fails with the new object mask. Steps to reproduce:in the horizontal sequence select a non-timeremapped clip, select it with an object mask, track it, place the unassigned mask on the opacity Render and replace the masked clip.
