Flattening a multicam clip leaves a one-frame gap. It has happened randomly in a 30-minute show timeline.    Right click Flatten multicam The master clip has a 1-frame gap at the end of some clips. All other frames are correct so there is no slip happening. An important note on the media: All media, multicam source sequences and edit timeline are at the same frame rate/timebase.  There is no mismatch that could cause this problem. Searching around, this happens to others sporadically. And when trying to finish a show on a tight deadline, it could be a show stopper.

Premiere will not filter results when you keyword seach in the project panel if the assets you are searching for are sequences. Let me explain. When I have a project with a lot of b-roll shots (hundreds) I cut them and put shorthand descriptions in the Description field. Then I'll use the search box to quickly find shots as I am building a timeline. If I want to find shots where subjects are smiling I just search "smile" and a split second later all those shots and only those shots appear in the bin. I also apply this methodolgy to interview responses.

Show duplicate frame markers” feature either doesn't work or works incorrectly. When there are duplicates, the program doesn't detect them. When there are no duplicates, the program indicates that there are. Sometimes this option doesn't work at all, and I must restart the program.25.6.411 pro 25H2

From time to time, practically with every project I'm still getting these video artifacts in the programm monitor. I know there was an issue with NVidia drivers, but so much time passed, and there were bugfixes confirmed in the drivers release notes, but I'm still having this issue in Premiere Pro 24.6.1 build 2.With any footage at random moments. I'm on Nvidia Studio driver 561.09 from Sep 7.Is that NVidia again or is it still Premiere Pro to blame? I just want to create a simple fade in and out for text layers using opacity key frames, but they are not rendering. The text appears and disappears without the fade effect.  I have no other effects on the layers. I tried clearing cache, rendering in/out, and nesting (which I shouldn’t have to do), and unchecking “composite in linear color”, but nothing works.  This used to work until a month ago. 

I am working on version 25.1.0. I have video files that include technical language that require editing of the transcript to ensure correct captioning. I am having continued issues when I "enter" into the text transcript, update the language, and then "esc" out of the text box only for the transcript to never update and show the edit made or for it to take an extended period of time (more than should be standard). I can't move on until I can verify that the edit was indeed made and that is taking up so much time needlessly. It has progressed to whenever I finish a caption and escape out of the text editor, box all of the transcript changes to <Type your caption here>. If I close out of the Text window and re-open, it will regenerate the transcripts, but this is tedious when I have hours of content to comb through. Bizarre story. Editing a project was fine until I selected the automask tool in Premier 26.02.  Computer crashed. Several attempts just to open the Project again  resulted in complete PC crashes. Created a new project and attempted to import the old project resulted in another crash.  I then attempted to import footage into the new project. The PC crashed.Finally the PC was locked in a recovery loop. Eventually had to reinstall Windows 11.Reinstalled Adobe Cloud and Premiere . Now Premier opens but crashes the moment I import footage whether audio or video. Having now had a series of crashes,  I am getting the Windows recovery screen again. I am now a little nervous.  Machine is an XPS Dell 8930 with 32GB memory and a RTX 2020 Graphics card with 6Gb. 1 TB SSD drive with 3GB WD  HDD.Ran the Dell online tests all good. Footage (Canon D7) imports into KDENLIVE happily but my project with captions is in Premiere.

I imported some new footage into a project (mts and mp3 files) I’ve tried editing since the import but the software has crashed 3 times. I had to turn off the computer and restart as everything was nonfunctional. This is Premiere Pro 25.0 Operating system – Windows 11 1.60 GHz intel core GPU driver version (Windows only) – I have 16BG of RAM and a 128MB graphics card   Please help! Can I do anything to able to re-open the project and remove the footage I imported?

Okay so I took a field class that I documented with 2 GoPro's, 1 GoPro was always recording in standard 5.3K (5312 width 2988 height) and the other was recording with the "Max Video" function (2704 Width 1520 Height). I start the project with only the Standard 5.3k video so that it sets the video that frame size, then I add in the "Max" videos and then synchronize via audio. While editing I commonly switch back and forth between camera views, using the scale to frame size function for the Max video. Also, occasionally I will have the max video as a smaller window within the Standard 5.3k video to allow viewing both angles at same time. The majority of the videos I utilize both sources of audio.HERE’s THE BUG: So I've spent hours editing these videos and go to export and within seconds it causes Premiere to crash, every single time!!! Steps to recreate: 1. Open a project. 2. Either click the home button and select a different project, or open a project through file>open recent/open project/new project. 3. You should see the first project as ghosted over the one you just opened.

This bug or feature drives me nuts and it has been out there for eternity. When you Render and Replace a clip that was warp stabilized first you always get a warning banner if you choose Include Video effects: The only solution so far is to activate the Hide Warning banner checkbox in this effect's advanced menu: The guys in this topic here say that with Render and replacing the Warp Stabilizer effect does not work, but in Premiere Pro 24.6.1 I can clearly see my footage stabilized (see the attached video) and I still get this warning banner. Why? What's its purpose there? Why does it even show if the clip's length remains unchanged? So. CAN ADOBE PLEASE FIX THAT ALREADY?

Export MP4 has 30sec of black add… but my out is marked!!! 

Issue – The last 2 versions of Premiere (at least) have had issues with WAV files playing, and after trying many different things to fix it, I’m sure it must be a bug in the software introduced with the updates. When importing WAV files into the timeline they will play for a while, and then after short period, or a few moves of the playhead, they will stop. In text based editing, transcribing does not recognise that there is any audio there at all. Opening old files that had perfectly functioning audio previously, now plays no audio despite the files still being there. Adobe can find the files on my PC (I checked through reveal in explorer), and clearing the media cache and resetting to default settings has not changed this. The files do not work when using render and replace, or if opened in Audition from Premiere.MP4 and MP3 sound work fine. I'm putting together an editing demo reel, and I noticed the color was off for some RED/R3D 6K footage when rendering it for smoother playback. Long story short, when I render the R3D footage within the timeline or export it using Quicktime Prores 422 HQ (or 4444 or 4444 XQ), the grade looks much more contrasty, with blown-out whites and crushed blacks (see attached screenshots for example, including scopes). Prores 422 vanilla and 422 LT are both rendering the grade correctly. No other types of footage in the timeline exhibit this problem when rendered, including Fuji X-T3 4K LOG mov, H.264 mp4, older Prores 422 HQ mov exports of this same R3D footage, etc. I have hunted down numerous settings and tested them, and none of them seem to be the culprits (see below for details). It looks like a new problem with the codecs themselves, at least when it comes to R3D footage. Prores 422 HQ has always been my go-to for archival copies of my work, and I've used it numerous times over the years

IssuePremiere Pro 2026 becomes non-exportable as soon as any mask (Object Mask or Pen Mask) with “Invert” enabled is used on an iPhone screen recording.After this, the project is effectively corrupted and unusable. I’ve just tried to apply the ex-FilmImpact video effect Compound blur on a stock footage and I get insanely slow performance with it in Premiere 26.0.1. Hi, I’d like to report an issue related to a simultaneous work of Google Chrome and Premiere Pro I’ve had of late.Of course I understand that it might be a Google problem so I should report to Google but I actually did and Google seems to ignore it, because I sent several reports and wrote to their support forum half a year ago and they are dumb.The problem I have is as follows. When exporting from Premiere Pro ( 25.6.4 in particular), should I start watching a video on ANY site except for Youtube (i.e. having a web player different from youtube one), the export in Premiere Pro stops. It does not freeze Premiere Pro - I can close the export window, go to any tab, and another export will start alright until I play back a video again on any site. During this export halt my CPU, iGPU and dGPU load is reduced to 0 (well, obviously the CPU still has some load, but it’s minimal, like 4-5%).I know that Google uses some video rendering pipeline of their own in Chrome (ANGLE + DXVA / D3D11) and

Hi everyone,I’m dealing with a critical issue in Premiere Pro that completely blocks my editing workflow.Problem:Clips from my Sony A6700 (MP4) randomly show a frozen frame in the timeline, while audio continues normally. So I'm going to preface this by saying that I do multi track editing in a weird way; I layer all the video files, and then cut down through the layers to show different camera angles. On a project I'm currently working on I have an .mts file as the bottom layer (avchd), and 3 mp4 files above that. Recently Premiere pro has started exhibiting strange behaviour when playing back the long mts / avchd file. If I make a cut or make any change to the mts video file, premiere hangs and appears to be reindexing the video file. During this time the play button doesn't work - and worse, if playback is mid progress, I'm then unable to stop playback until it's finished reindexing the file. This slow down results in very lengthy edit times. This wasn't a problem until one of the more recent updates. Using disk management, you can see premiere pro maxing out the USB hard drive's transfer speed trying to re-read the entire video file which I'm trying to work on. Toggling visibility on the layer
