TENGO ESTE DETALLE EN PREMIERE Y NO ME DEJA PROCESAR EL VIDEO
I have a workflow that is heavily dependent on setting media start time/alternate timecode of clips that do not start on a whole second and do not have generated XMP start or alternate timecode. When I go to Modify Clip >> Timecode and try to modify the timecode based on the current frame of my clip in the source monitor, the "Current Frame" selection is greyed out. I have my play head on the first frame of the first whole second so that it will adjust the timecode for the previous frames and I don't have to do the math for every clip. I have tried placing my play head on the frame, marking an in on the frame, all different file formats and CODECS that Premiere will accept and I put it out to the Premiere Pro Editors FB group where multiple editors confirmed the same issue when they tested it for me. Unfortunately, those frames in my use case are very important so I am not able to trim the files before import and make do with changing the beginning file timecode of the trimmed fi
While rendering Canon R5 footage recorded in 8K MP4 ALL-I, there appears to be a color/contrast shift in the beginning and end points (first and last 3-4 seconds) of the clip. I have also tried transcoding the footage to ProRes 422 HQ in Me (no color shift), importing it into PP, viewing footage (no color shift), and then exporting, and the results are the same (colors flickered as if DCM was being turned on and off). I have tried turning off Color management and found the same results. I have tried disabling DCM, and the results are the same. It appears that the footage is flickering between the "Display Color Management" option in the exported footage. System:Win 11I9-14900k64GB RamRTX 5080PP version 25.3.0
I can't seem to get the transcript window to appear in premiere. I have reinstalled premiere and deleted the cache files. I've attached screenshots of my computer specs and the premiere window for assistance. (System spec photo removed by mod to protect persoanl info)
If you use "Replace Footage" on a PC, then open the project on a Mac, it points to the old pre-replaced version of the file.1. On a PC version of Premiere, use "Replace Footage" to swap a shot out. Each of the shots have unique names - ie, clipname_r01 gets replaced with clipname_r02. These shots are Prores Quickimes rendered from Unreal Engine.2. Save the project and open it on a Mac version of Premiere. Although the project says it is pointing to clipname_r02, it's actually showing clipname_r01.3. If you "Reveal in Finder..." on clipname_r02, it opens clipname_r01 in the Finder.4. The only fix is to use 'Replace Footage" again on the Mac, ie replace clipname_r02 with clipname_r02 again. High-End Computer Previewing and Exporting Still Frames of VideoI have just recently acquired a new PC that is significantly more powerful than my old computer and for some reason I am encountering an issue where clips on my timeline are not previewing properly. I thought that maybe this issue would go away when I exported the video out but it persists in the exported video. I have checked all of my source content and there is no issue. I have cleared my cache and attempted to re-render frames and still nothing. I am not sure what is going on and am wondering if maybe this is an issue with 25.3? Let me know if anyone else has encountered this issue... Link to exported video: https://youtu.be/6yjuVOhnj8o Here is a picture of my timeline...
This issue happens to me like 50% of the time I use Premiere. Don't know why it's inconsistent but hoping someone else has had this issue and can provide a solution. When playing back a clip and either using the zoom (alt + scroll) or scrolling through the timeline, I won't be able to click through the timeline to a different point. You can see at the start of the video I uploaded, having the video already paused, pressing play (I'm pressing spacebar) and then clicking to another point in the timeline, this will work fine. But if I try this again - press play, but either zoom in/out of the timeline or scroll up/down the timeline, clicking anywhere on the timeline does nothing - it won't jump to where I want to go. This is extremely annoying as it's the main thing I'm doing when watching and cutting down footage. I constantly have to press pause first and change positions on the timeline. I also have no idea why it's not consistent, some days it'll just be fine. These
AVI files take an eternity to import to a project and once imported I get the media pending error. After a long time this disappears again and I am able to edit, but the program also crashes a lot. Media encoder works very slow to convert AVI to mp4. Impossible to work with the program at the moment.
Frustrating!! Had a big work done. It crashed because i didint have enough space. Even tho i saved first so i can fix it. Did that, come back, nothing! all gone. Have to start over from scratch. its really, really frustrating!!
I've noticed a bug with the text tool that seems new since the version of Premiere that removed scrubbing via the mouse wheel from the Program window. If you ↓Select text toolClick into the Program windowStart typingWhat ends up happening is you're still in the main timeline area and all your keystrokes are now affecting that. I've had countless times where I think I'm typing a word but instead I'm editing the timeline or randomly switching to different tools. This is extremely frustrating and is impeding my workflow. Please, fix this ASAP.
I was working on a video today, and had an AI cat I needed to keep still, so I overlayed the video (V3), split the scene (to where I didn't want the cat to move), then cut out the cat. I then put a hold on V2. Nothing I haven't done before. But in this issue, the video wasn't showing the cat moving. I hid V3 and no change, but when I hid V2, the cat moved again. When I did research, I saw this post, but it was not resolved. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/video-tracks-stacking-in-reverse-obscure-setting-or-error/m-p/12615504#M386178I deleted media cache, and no change. The "Composite Preview" was checked. No change. Here's the kicker - I opened another project, imported the video and did the same thing. The video layers worked exactly as expected. This is a rather new project, but I have already built up several videos and don't want to lose the work. Is there a setting that reverses the Video Layers? Video is
I haven't been able to export a video for about 3 weeks now. I 'm not sure what do to. I've been trying all the trouble shooting recommendations but nothing seems to be fixing the issue. Do anyone know what's going on?
In Premiere Pro, glitches will appear on the playback and video exports of multiple MP4 files I have exported into the project. It does not impact the audio, just the visuals. These glitches do not appear in the source footage. I am on a Dell Windows 11 computer with fully updated drivers. I have a 64-bit operating system and my processor is Intel Core. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere with no luck, Premiere is fully updated, and I do not have any plugins installed. I've attached a picture of the glitch, along with a picture of the video files' properties, according to Premiere Pro.
Hello, I have a problem with changing the speed of a clip lasting more than 20 minutes. When I enter a value such as 200% and 300%, the program automatically gives me a percentage that does not exceed 24 hours (with 20-minute clips, the problem is with entering 200%, with 1-hour clips, 200% and 300%). I have tried many methods, such as changing the keyboard language or testing different versions, and nothing helps. The problem appeared from one day to the next, when I had never had anything like this before. At the same time, I am a fairly new film editor and I do not know if I accidentally clicked some option of the 24-hour clip length limiter, etc. Please be understanding and I will be grateful for your helpBest regards, Wayfarer
In the past year I have used multicam frequently to edit podcasts. Took a small break over the holidays and I am now returning to edit multicams in v25.1.0. After starting an edit I found the multicam view completely glitches selection follows playhead. Through testing I have found a few issues. 1. none of these issues appear until you open multicam view in a sequence. 2. regardless if it is a timeline with a multicam in it or not opening MC view is what causes these issues. 3. It appears closing and reopening the sequence clears the bugs but they immediately resume when you open MC view -when MC view is open - SFP appears to function fine but... 1. Selection immediately resets to under playhead when you select a different clip, regardless of how long you wait. -When multicam view gets closed 1. SFP no longer functions with space bar, or JKL hot keys, it will only follow playhead selection if you click with your cursor on the timecode bar at the top of
It is taking my Program Window minutes sometimes to catch up with the cursor. I closed, reopened with the shift key down, reset the preferences and cleared the cache. No improvement. I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 card with 8 GB GDDR6, Raytracing. What can I do to speed it up or what settings would improve preformance? [Branched from older thread by mod]
Heads-up: M3 Max Crashes with Premiere Pro under macOS 15.5 (Sequoia)I've confirmed system-level GPU crashes when using Premiere Pro on macOS 15.5 (Sequoia) with an M3 Max MacBook Pro.During scrubbing, timeline exports, or Metal stress tests, my system flashes red and reboots without warning or error dialog. Here’s what I tested (June 17–19):- ✅ CPU and memory stress tests = no crash- ✅ Same drives/projects on Intel iMac = stable- ❌ M3 Max crashes under GPU load only (WindowServer, AGXMetalG15X-M1, QuartzCore in logs)THIS ISN’T A PREMIERE BUG — the fault appears to lie in macOS Sequoia’s Metal/QuartzCore stack on Apple Silicon (M2/M3).I’ve built a ZIP package with full crash logs, diagnostic scripts, and test configs. If others are experiencing this, I encourage comparing logs or referencing my report for escalation.Premiere Pro: 25.4 (Beta, Build 54)Chip: Apple M3 Max – 128GB RAM – 4TB internalDrives: G-Raid, WD Black (ACSIS enclosure, TEAMGROUP 8TB (ACASIS encl
When I have text on screen and expiriment with it's font size, if I change it once everything is fine. But if I change the font size up or down back to the original size I started with Premiere crashes.I found a workaround is if I want to return to the first font size I started with, I change the font size a second time. Doing that resets what font size will crash PrPro allowing me to return to the first size. Heres an example. My text is 35pt size and its a little small so I click the font size box and use the arrow keys to raise it up a bit to 37pt. But after looking over my scene I think to bring the size down to tweak it. If I set it down to 35 and hit enter, Premiere crashes. But if I set it to 36, and then 35, it will be fine. And now the new size PrPro will crash at is now set to 36. And so on. If you forget, you can tell which font size will crash PP when you scroll up and down the font sizes and the text in the preview window doesn't change in size at a certain numbe
For the last few months I havent been able to see the videos in the source and program, nothing i have done from the forums or youtube videos have worked. This is rather frustrating because I need to have this program work for my job in live sports. I have cleared the cache, restarted my PC Laptop and program. Updated my nvidia card. Tried to change the renderer to no avail.
Hi everyone,I'm encountering an issue with my multicam setup in Premiere Pro 25.1.0. I have a sequence set to 1920×1080, but my nests are at 3840×2160 and scaled down to 50% to fit the timeline. I use these nests for synced A-Cam/B-Cam clips, and I use the multicam view for live camera switching. However, during playback, the preview windows show the clips at 100% scale instead of 50%, and switching cameras causes the main preview to display at 100% momentarily before reverting on pause.Project SetupSequence Resolution: 1920×1080Nests: 3840×2160, scaled to 50% to fit the timelineScenes: 9 scenes, each representing a nested A-Cam and B-Cam (B-Cam audio removed)Multicam Setup: Enabled for each nestWorkflow: I use the multicam view in the Program Monitor and switch between cameras using keyboard shortcuts (1 for A-Cam, 2 for B-Cam)Steps to ReproduceCreate a sequence at 1920×1080.Create nests with footage at 4K (The nests default to match the sequence setting)Adjust the sequence settings o
In the June 2025 update of Premiere Pro Beta, Project Manager no longer allows multiple sequence selection.Only one sequence can be selected, and Cmd-click or Shift-click doesn't work. This used to be possible in previous versions. Please confirm if this is a bug or an intended change.
It seems like the latest update of Premier Pro suddenly causes "Stack Overrun" when doing things in Premier Pro like adding Video Transitions, Copy/Paste attributes. I have not seen that before the upgrade thet hit me a few days back, It is mostly annoying, but I am concerned that somethings may not work at the end... I does not show up directly after start up, it takes a bunch of edits. If I re-start, I am free of the error for a while but it returns again.... Any idesas on a quick fix?
Hi everyone, after a clean reinstall of Windows and Premiere Pro, I’m running into a strange issue:When I apply a glitch effect (tested with two different sources/PlugIns), the preview monitor turns black — but only when using CUDA and I have to restart Premiere Pro.If I switch to OpenCL (without restart Premiere Pro), the preview works fine, but rendering takes many hours and Media Encoder throws frame errors when exporting glitch segments in CUDA.This issue didn’t exist before the reinstall. Same project, same footage, same effects.System:Windows 11AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3DNVIDIA RTX 3060 (12 GB, latest Studio Driver)Premiere Pro [25.3.0]I’ve cleared cache, reinstalled plugins, and tested multiple projects.Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks!
I'm getting red artifacting in my footage, and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. I don't see it in the raw footage, so I assume it's an issue with the Lumetri color. I attached a couple video examples - one of the raw footage and one with lumetri color effects. This is happening both during editing and after export. I can't not color the footage, so how do I go about fixing the artifacting? The shadows are raised and the blacks aren't that low. The highlight is low, but when I raise it, it still does the same thing.
