With the latest Update the timeline playback sometimes stoppes, the Autiometers are showing Audiolevel movement, but very slow but Image is frozen. Also the SourceMonitor Video does not play. After a few seconds (10 or more) and by placing the Timeline Cursor somewhere else and press play, it workes again. I changed Playback Resolution Full, 1/4,..., I´m not at High Quality Playback. I`m on a M1 Max 64Gb Ram, SLOG3 not extra LUT, Intern Footage is Fx3 200Mbit, 4k25 H265, DJI Mini 3 4K and GoPro 4K, latest MacOS.
This year I've been working on a longer doc. I compiled all my selects in to a timeline what was fairly long and then I went back to find it and PR had delted 90 percent of it. Frustarting but ok, maybe I made a mistake. I re made the entire timeline and then figured thigns were fine. I edited again and went back to the edit after a weeekdn away and then only 30 minutes of my cut was there. Seriously, WTF. Why is PR doing this? I have deadlines and can't just babysit a project 24/7 looking to see if Adobe wants to destroy a project. Latets version of the app M1 Chip on Sonoma 14.6.1 and no I haven;t updated PR or my OS while working on this project.
I had an Asus ROG Strix 3070 Ti OC 8GB GPU recently which turned out to be having a factory defect, I had to buy a new GPU, and since I'm extremely frustrated with Nvidia these days I bought a Sapphire RX 7800 XT 16GB, which is approximately between a 4070 and 4070 Super in performance. as far as I know. With RTX 3070 Ti I had no issues using Hardware encoding with the following settings on v24.4.1:Format: H.264Frame Size: UHD (3840x2160)Frame Rate: 120Field Order: ProgressiveAspect: Square PixelsRender at maximum depthUse maximum render qualityTime Interpolation: Frame SamplingPerformance: Hardware EncodingProfile: HighLevel: 6.0Bitrate Encoding: VBR, 1 passTarget Bitrate: 100Max Bitrate: 100 Now, I'm trying to use the same encoding settings on my new RX 7800 XT, however, in v24.4.1 adobe simply won't use Hardware encoding, even though I'm able to choose it, simply does the encoding with CPU. CPU usage is around 90%, GPU is 20%. A 2 min video takes 10 mins to encode, which is rea
Hi there!Issue:I'm having this bug for a while where the shortcut "Timelines" stopped taking me to the next Sequence in line. It used to always "take a step forward in the timeline stack", but now it randomly jumps around or skips at least one sequence when I use it. Sometimes it does work, but as it mostly does not, I have unfortunately lost trust in the shortcut and stopped using it.It's very efficient though, especially when there's a lot of different renders to do. So I thought I'd bring it to attention in the hopes of it being fixed or turning out to be an error of myself - to which I could adapt. --- PR Version: 25.1.0. Team of three editors, we've been working on our project for a month in 2025.1. We are using Productions. We all updated to 2025.2.3 this morning, but all quickly had to revert to 2025.1 because the performance was significantly worse in the newer version. Specifics of the project: DNxHD 116 codec in MXF wrapper. All media and projects on LucidLink. I have 1Gb symmetric fiber. Lucid performance has been great, and stable. I uninstalled 2025.1 from within Creative Cloud app, then installed 2025.2.3. I deleted my entire media cache, and rebooted my system (M1 Mac Studio, macOS 15.4.1). I then allowed Premiere & LucidLink to rebuild their local cache.Expected behaviour: better performance Actual behaviour: timeline response for all three of us was much, much worse - hitting space bar gave a 5 sec lag before playback commenced, it was only about 2 secs in 2025.1. Also, many many crashes, every few minutes, sometime

It seems like this normally works but lately when I use 'Replace With Clip > From Bin" with the new clip highlighted in the bin, it replaces it, but does not respect the In/Out points - it just places the new clip there at its start.
I am unable to load any unsigned CEP 12 extensions (custom panels or test panels) in Premiere Pro 2025 (version 25.2.3) on macOS Sequoia 15.1, despite correctly setting PlayerDebugMode as described in all Adobe documentation.Extensions are placed in both /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/ and ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.12 PlayerDebugMode 1 is set and verifiedBoth Premiere and the system have been restarted multiple timesCEP12-PPRO.log shows no mention of the unsigned extensions—not even errors or skipped loadingThe issue is reproducible on a clean install of macOS and Premiere Pro on a second MacIs there a new, required process or debug flag for loading unsigned CEP 12 extensions in Premiere Pro 25.x on macOS 15? Has PlayerDebugMode support been changed, deprecated, or intentionally removed for CEP development on this version? This issue is blocking all extension development and testing on the latest version. Looking into this, I see older similar issues: Audio Crossfades Not Exporting CorrectlyAudio Crossfade Issue on Tracks With Audio Effects Both are listed as 'solved', but that seems a stretch to me.Oct 2024, still bumping into similar issues, using v 24.5.0 (build57) Using track effects here, solo'd the track I'm having issues with. I shortened / combined SFX of a bowling ball rolling to hit pins. the yellow line indicates where the ball hits the pins. My outputs seemed to offset the crossfade down the timeline, removing the impact sound that I cued. In order to get the desired effect I had to remove the crossfade entirelyAttached are two MP3s. In addition, I was only able to repoduce the error when outputing the entire 30 sec spot - when I made a in/out range the error was not output...I've had a similar issue in the past, but did not bother reporting it...I know Premiere is a very complex piece of software- but if they dont want us usin
I am losing rendered multicam audio in Premiere Pro every time I restart Premiere. I am running Premiere Pro 2018 12.1.1 on 10.12.6 Sierra, and every time I restart premiere I lose all the rendered audio and waveforms in Premiere Pro with multicam clips, all I see is a red line through the audio, and I have to render them again. This has to be a bug and is incredibly frustrating, especially when working with a significant amount of clips as it is a long render.
Running on Premiere Pro Version 25.1.0 (Build 73) When I import OMF file from Premiere, it's only getting one audio track and layering it to several audio tracks. I'm opening the OMF on Audition. But when my collegue exports the same OMF from Premiere, when I open it on Audition it's correct (all the tracks are there with the correct audio). I've tried making a new project, exporting separate wav files then putting them on a new sequence, nothing works.
To preface, this is not the "quick fix" of clicking the timeline to export. I click the timeline and NOTHING IS WORKING.I am using Adobe Premiere 2025 on Windows and edited a whole one minute video, and have THREE other videos I needed to finish editing before EoD. Unfortunately I have spent the past THREE HOURS trying to export my video but the export tab simple will not open. I click it, and instead a loading circle comes up and it loads and loads and nothing happens. I can't even get to the preferences when it comes to exporting.. The entire export tab DOES NOT OPEN at all.I am in deperate need of help. I have tried everything, clearing cache, trying to get it to export with media composer, restarting, uninstalling the software and reinstalling. NOTHING WORKS. I am terrified that I am going to miss my chance as I have a HUGE and TIGHT deadline that needed to be done for tonight. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
I'm on 25.2.3 (build4), windows. An adjustment layer, usually with only a simple effect such as lumetri colour, makes everything beneath it move/scale strangely. almost as if it had a transform effect on it.demonstration video:https://youtu.be/GMyv8Tm0tws
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it used to be different prior to 24.5.1. When using track targeting, if you were to click and drag a track target to another track, a ghostly view of that track target icon would follow your mouse around. Now on 24.5.1 and above nothing happens when you drag. Though it still works, you can no longer see what you are dragging, making it tough to know if you're actually doing anything or if you've got it landing in the correct spot. The visual identifier for your actions has gone away. Video example below, you can see me click and drag but the icon doesn't follow and there is no visual representation of my dragging it. Can confirm the issue is also present in the current Beta.
Every time I try to use the play button on premire pro it only SOMETIMES works, and even when it does it will stop working after a few clicks. Then, if I try closing the project or closing premire, it either stops responding or closes safely. Along with this, it makes my compter unusable making file explorer not work, and I cant click the sarch bar or windows icon in my taskbar, and I can't open files in file explorer or take screenshots. I really need help because I've completely wiped my PC and am still having this issue! I recently just bought premire yesterday.
I have a mp4 with 2 audio channels. Each channel has a different person talking. I transcribed and it transcribed what person 2 was saying but it did not detect any pauses or filler words for them. Now when I exported a .wav of just channel 2 and brought that into premiere, it detected the pauses and filler words fine.
Unable to select or edit the existing text using the Type Tool. The selection gets instantly reverted. This also happens while adding new texts. Restarting the app is the only workaround. Here's a screen recording of the issue: Premiere Pro Version: 24.2.1 (Build 2) OS: Win 11 Home Laptop: Asus Vivobook Pro 15 Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600H Graphics Card: Nvidia RTX 3050
In the past week or two, when I try to export captions, even though I've hidden the track(s) I don't want, only the top track seems to want to export. My workaround is to duplicate the sequence and delete the other tracks. Then I can get an .srt file of the language I need.Version 25.2.3 (Build 4)Mac OS Sequoia 15.5
Experiencing significant lag during real-time playback in Adobe Premiere Pro. The lag makes editing extremely difficult and frustrating, despite using a high-configuration Asus laptop. Can anyone advise on how to resolve this issue? I am using the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro. But it was the same in previous versions, too. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_ieEzJji_0mOtFr5xMzw08IXE8gkIkJL/view?usp=sharing Please check the attached video demonstrating the lag and an image showing the laptop's specifications.
Hello Adobe Community & Support,I’ve been facing a persistent issue with Adobe Premiere Pro for the past 4 weeks. I’m unable to export any videos due to an error message related to installed codecs or export settings. I have tried searching for solutions online but couldn’t find anything that works.Interestingly, Photoshop and Illustrator work fine on my system. The problem is only with Premiere Pro exports.I have attached screenshots showing the error message directly from the program, as well as my PC specifications and graphics card driver version for reference.Steps to Reproduce:Open Premiere ProLoad a video projectTry to export (any format, any settings)Error message appears about codecs or export failingExpected Result:Smooth export of the video file as usual.Actual Result:Export fails with error messages related to codecs or software configuration.System Info:OS: Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor, 3.4 GHzRAM: 16 GBG
Since upgrading to version 25 of Premiere, I’ve encountered several frustrating issues that have made the editing process significantly more tedious. Here are some of the problems I’ve encountered: Timeline In/Out Issues: Whenever I open a project, the in/out markers in the timeline are always shifted.Playback Problems: When I hit play, the video plays, but when I want to stop it, the playhead stops, but the video continues playing. Hitting SPACE or clicking the STOP button on the program monitor doesn’t do anything until a few seconds later, after which the video starts playing from the spot where I stopped it.Audio Clip Marking Issues: Marking in/out on an audio clip in the Source monitor marks it on the timeline but not on the waveform, making it difficult to make precise selections.Red Giant Plugins: There was an issue where Red Giant plugins wouldn’t load. This was resolved by an update from Maxon, but the issue persists in After Effects 25.2. I’ve updated to every

This has been a problem for me for years. I make color edits in Premiere that I am happy with, and on export they are washed out, low sat, low contrast. I have read so many forums and posts about this issue. I have read the export plays differently in quicktime, on apple screens, on non apple screens. I have used the gamma correction lut, as well as other export luts people have tried making. All they seem to do is crush the blacks on the video, getting the color close to the timeline edit, but not the same. Is there a realistic solution to this? I have changed all settings in Premiere I can change. Attaching screen shots of what I am talking about, ordered from: Premiere Program window, export, and export with gamma correction LUT.
