Sometimes, when selecting several items within a bin and using 'New Bin From Selection,' the new bin is then created at the root of the project instead of in the parent bin that all the selected items live in. Other times it works as expected. I can't figure out what causes the unexpected behavior. Bonus bug (I think bug, anyway): If you undo a 'New Bin From Selection', you're left with an empty Bin called "Bin." For me, expected behavior would be to return to the condition prior to running 'New Bin From Selection'. Rather than having to hit undo twice to remove the bin created.

Hello everyone, I'm facing a serious issue with Adobe Premiere Pro and I urgently need help. I was working with Premiere Pro (version 24 on Windows 10) and the program started crashing repeatedly. At one point, a pop-up window appeared offering to reset the version of Premiere to fix the error. I clicked "yes" on that window, and surprisingly, all my Premiere Pro projects were deleted from my computer. I had my projects saved on two hard drives: D and E. I've already tried a few solutions without success: I looked in the Premiere Pro auto-save folder, but found nothing. I used the recovery software Recuva, but it didn't show any relevant files. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I didn't receive any specific error message, just the pop-up window that led me to reset the program and lose all my project files. Has anyone experienced a similar situation or knows how I can recover my Premiere Pro project files? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I can't render my project even by parts because it crushes on random frames which aren't even supposed to be rendered. I just want you finally fix such silly things because your products are not cheap. Please, do your work properly!   Mod note: The title was changed slightly from "crushed" to "crashed."

I've had this issue for MONTHS now and regret not reporting it earlier. I often cut features for TV in a 23.98 sequence. And it sounds fine on that timeline. Then when I go to nest it in a 59.94 sequence for export, and hit play on the timeline, there are random audio glitches / phantom noises that show up in the 59.94 sequence that definitely ARENT in the 23.98 sequence. (and yes those 'phantom' glitches do show up in my MXF export as well).  And this happens with almost every project I work on for the past year. It's really problematic. I usually have to jump through hoops and move some audio around by frames just to make it go away. I don't feel comfortable posting a public video but if Adobe would privately message me, I'd gladly show you the screen record I did this morning to showcase the issue.  I could tell you my current premiere version but I've gone through several versions of premiere over the past year and its been prevalent throughout. Hello,I've had the following problem. I want to export a small portion of a video i'm working on, about 30 seconds. It's footage from a documentary that I've edited and added some clips to. Nothing special. When i select the ins and outs and then go to export media, it says ''Necessary Audio Files are being rendered'', with a preview saying 1 of 31 files have been rendered and an estimated time of about 1 hour and 30 minutes (constantly changing back and forth between that and 1 hour) left to render the file. However there is no progress happening, no matter how long I wait. Not to mention, this shouldn't happen at all, just a week ago i could easily export clips longer than that without problems. I tried other footage and the same problem occurs, also when I try to export it somewhere else on a different hard drive.Please let me know if you've had this issue and know what to do, I don't want all of this effort to go to waste.Thanks.

I am noticing this a fair bit in Premiere Pro, where I generate a static transcript between an in and out point. I then edit the transcript to match the correct words being spoken. I then create the captions, giving it a style and tweaking the timing and frequency of these captions. But especially when I have had to completely re-write a section (due to a rapid fire speaker with a very strong geordie accent), the captions will either revert back to the original generated words or completely miss out several of the ones I have written. For example in the screenshots attached. The captions should read: "Happy? Quick Decision. I'll just transfer you some money. No worries." But the only captions that were created were: "Happy? Quick some money. No worries." Is there a setting I am missing or is this just a bit of a bug? For reference I am using version 24.2.1 (build 2) Thanks

When using synchronize clips to synchronize audio, it is expected that the clip that appears earlier in the timeline is going to move backwards to meet the clip that appears later in the timeline. The clip later in the timeline is not moving at all. However, in this instance, when using synchronize clips, the clip that appears later in the timeline has audio crossfades on both ends of it that are being removed after the synchronization completes. Premiere 24.5OSX 13.6.7 Video showing the problem below:

After the most recent update (24.4.1). The new style browser, for stylizing multiple or individual captions in Premiere Pro, is now closing every time you click on the timeline. Before, I could click or drag the playhead to certain points in the edit, and the browser would stay open - now it does not. Which means I have to click the style browser icon every time I click on a new caption.The style browser is an amazing tool for adjustments to caption coloring - and a big help for subtitle work. The new update very much combats this. Would very much love a fix!(Sidenote: it did previously close, if you clicked the gray area of the timeline. But it didn't, if you clicked the timecoded, dotted line. Now I have to scrub through the timeline in the Media Browser - not optimal.)

Hi there, I have been experiencing this issue/bug using ''Project Manager'' and ''Render and Replace'' for a while, not knowing exactly what caused the issue. Diggin into it a bit more I realised that the cause was a specific combination of Audio multi channel configuration.The issue:With some Apple Prores files, both 'Project Manager'' and ''Render and Replace'' just don't work.The rendering process starts but and an error message pops up saying ''Unable to match audio channes''In this case, the audio configuration is a multi channel 5.1 + 2.0 stereo. (8channels total)I tried many conbination of codecs and rendering presets, even matching the same audio configuration 5.1+2.0 using a custom rendering preset, it didn't work.With rendering preset with audio disabled in the rendering settings, still doesn't work.(I want to point out that this does't matter for any other multichannel file. When I first open Premeire, the interface is fine. The moment I change between workspaces, the "button editor" partially hides. It comes back only when I either adjust a panel size or click it to add a button. Currently running 24.3 on OSX. 

Anyone know how to fix this? i used 2022 version and upgrade it to 2024 yet still wont load.

Hello, yesterday i downloaded premiere pro using my free trial i activated, once i installed premiere pro, i opened it, tried to create a project and i tried to export something, the export said 0% so i googled why, restarted premiere pro and tried to create new project, upon pressing create new project my pc went black, i could move my mouse but i tried pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, that didn't work, tried to reset my graphics card using the shortcut Win+Ctrl+Shift+B that didn't work also, so i then force stopped my pc, i also want to clarify my laptop screen is broken so i cannot see what is happening after it boots into windows login screen. I then pressed the power button, i waited for 40 seconds, i was wondering what is going on because it usually starts faster, i waited longer and realised its not turning on, i started to get really scared i waited for 3 minutes still not booting, i shut it off, tried to boot it again, still nothing, i then turned it off and went somewhere legit pani

I have a bug in Premiere Pro 2024 where it frequently displays the video with a glitchy overlay. What can be done about it?

There are a coulple of posts about the playhead not moving during playback, where the accepted solution is to reset the workspace to the saved layout. That works under most circumstances, but I may have discovered a similar bug where resetting the workspace doesn't work.If the Essential Graphics panel is visible with the Browse tab at the front, the playhead won't move during playback, but if you switch to the Edit tab in the EG panel, the playhead will follow playback as expected. Similarly, if the Essential Graphics panel is in a panel group, and one of the other panels is visible (hiding the EG panel), playback will work as expected.Reveal the EG panel and focus the Browse tab, and the playhead won't follow playback.Can anyone reproduce this?Cheers.

Sequence is 29.97 Below I pulled an entire music track onto my time and the End of Clip Indicator does not display. I've noticed this issue since moving up to 23.4, but I'm currently on 23.5, Mac Ventura  

Bonjour,Ça fait quelques semaines que je rencontre un soucis sur Premiere pro.Alors que je travail sur un gros projet vidéo, j'ai commencer à rencontrer des problèmes de mémoire ram (toute la mémoire a été allouée avec 60gb de ram utilisée), le logiciel avait des crash toutes les demie heures et je devait le relancer constamment.J'ai tout de même réussi a finir tout mon montage ne trouvant pas de solution définitive.Cependant je rencontre à nouveau ce problème lors de l'export de cette même vidéo. J'ai commencer par faire mes export depuis Premiere pro, à chaque fois le logiciel crasher à 35% de l'export. (voir pièce jointe).Ensuite j'ai voulu exporter avec Media encoder me permettant d'avoir la fenêtre de prévisualisation, pour voir à quel moment de la vidéo il y avait un soucis. Il se trouve que j'ai filmer cette vidéo à l'A7S3 jsuqu'à ce que je tombe pendant mon tournage et donc mon boitier aussi (le rendant inutilisable), j'ai donc continuer à filmer à l'iPhone. Je m

Just updated to V 24.5In the project window, I can no longer open a bin in list view mode by clicking the dropdown arrow. The only way I can get into a bin is to double-click, which opens the bin in a new pane and now there are 100 panes in my project window. I cannot drag and drop files and bins into other bins, either. Not ideal.There's also a checkbox now to the left of each folder? 

The transcription feature and in consequence text-based-editing are totally unavailable in certain projects. With one of my clients my workflow is as follows:They create a New ProjectImport their media files and generate proxies, as they usually shoot in 4kSometimes they start the edit, most times they don'tThey send me the project, along with the proxies but without the original files After that I link the files and try to transcribe but the transcription button won't do anything. Right click won't either. I'm sure I'm not doing anything wrong as I've used this feature hundreds of times. I've also tried telling my client to transcribe the media before sending it to me (I say tried as it was hard for him to make the proxies in the first place lol), but this does feel like a bug.

Since version 24, there is a significant playback performance issue when the timeline scroll setting in Preferences - Playback is set to “Smooth Scroll.” This issue did not occur in version 23, but it seems to have resurfaced.Steps to Reproduce: The more clips you place on the timeline, the slower the playback becomes. Once the number of clips exceeds a certain threshold, the playback button becomes unresponsive, and you may need to terminate the Premiere process to close the application.This issue does not occur when the timeline scroll setting is set to “Page Scroll.”Additional Note: After upgrading to version 24.5, I encountered another issue where Premiere files created in version 23 could not be opened after downgrading back to version 23. Hi,There is a nested sequence, where there is an adjustment layer on top and below are all essential graphics texts set for my video. I have applied 'wave warp' to my nested sequence, it is working on my timeline when I move my cursor there, but on exporting, that effect is not there!!What can I do in this case?
