Camera Raw

Hi Everyone,I've scoured the forums for past tips on how to troubleshoot Ps CC 2018 not opening some of my NEF files. I updated my video card drivers, uninstalled Photoshop and all preferences, restarted my computer, then reinstalled. I have ACR 10.1 installed.The weird thing is, sometimes it's fine and I can open and edit my NEF files. Even this morning, I was opening them just fine but now I can't get any of them to open. I didn't change any settings that I'm aware of that would have caused the problem (until I started troubleshooting).Any ideas?

Hi everyone! I am having trouble opening my D850 RAW files in Photoshop CS6. I have installed all of the updates with no improvement. I am trying to open a few "photos as layers in Photoshop."Do I need to convert them to DNG files?Thanks you for any help!

Wenn ich im Camera RAW ein Datei (NEF / CR2...) öffne, und versuche, das Bild zu bearbeiten (z.B. den Schärferegler verschiebe) bricht das Bild im Vorschaufenster ständig zusammen, flackert auf oder wird kurz falsch dargestellt (siehe Beispielfoto). Es betrifft nur das Vorschaubild. Menüs und Rahmen usw. flackern nicht.Die GPU-Beschleunigung ist aktiv. Schalte ich die GPU-Beschleunigung aus, tritt dieser Effekt nicht mehr auf. Die GPU-Beschleunigung wird aber dringend benötigt, da die Vorschau sonst zu unpräzise und langsam ist.Das Phänomen kann ich an verschiedenen PCs (Windows 7 pro 64) mit verschiedenen nVIDIA Karten (GT1030, GTX660, GTX970, GT640) beobachten.Habe bereits alle nVIDIA-Treiber vom neuesten 391.01 bis zurück zur 384er Version probiert. Das Problem lässt sich dadurch nicht lösen.Es tritt auch nur im RAW Bearbeitungsfenster auf. im Photoshop selbst (nach dem das Bild importiert wurde) läuft alles sauber.Alle aktuellen Update (Adobe / Windows / Treiber usw.) sind installi

HI!I got lots of presets from VSCO. They are all here in my presets section in camera raw. To apply them, I have to click them manually with my mouse which takes too much time. Is there a faster way to go through them? I would be perfect to do that with my arrow up and arrow down keys. Unfortunatelly that doesn't work.Thanks a lot for helping out.

Anyone else have this issue?  Even when I select "enable profile corrections" it won't even pick my camera, which it did with no issues a few days ago.  Restarted, checked for updates, still not working.  Quite a few Nikon lenses are missing from the profiles.  Please help!!!

I've re-built my Mac OS Sierra and reinstalled CS6, with serial number to license the product. All is fine, except, I cannot 'update' camera RAW plugin, so raw images will not open.But the images do not open in raw/ photoshop. The macbook, OS, CS6, and digital camera are all the same - no changes.I just wanted to rebuild my Mac to clean it up.I have tried to run 'help-updates' to update the raw pluginI have then successfully installed the separate 9.11 camera raw plugin Camera Raw plug-in installerBut I still get the same error when trying to open a file. According to Adobe website page on this link, the CS6 installer should be compatible with OS10.12 (Sierra) which is what I have.Can anyone help?

Hi, Canon lens corrections data on camera are recognized by ACR? I shoot on RAW files with Lens Correction Peripheral illumin and Chromatic aberration enabled on the camera, there is no information from Canon if that data are registered on raw files or only on jpg. I am using a EOS 80D and wondering if ACR recognize lens correction on data all ready applied on camera and i am over correcting when in ACR Lens Corrections menu I applied "Remove Chromatic aberration" and "Enable Profile Corrections".

Have Bridge CC (8.0.1.282 x64).  In camera raw I'm missing the manual tab in the lens corrections.  Can anyone help me get the tab to show?

I recently had to re-install all programs on my PC, hence I have, I believe the latest versions of CC (19.1.1) and ACR (10.2.1.895).It's a bit of a nightmare restoring all your preferences and settings, and one I can't manage to get right means that JPEGs opened with the ACR filter in Photoshop have a distinctly more saturated (redder) tone than the Photoshop image. (I use the ACR filter as a simple, do-everything correction tool for JPEG snaps - my RAW files seem better, but still not identical.)For the purposes of the jpegs, I have set the colour space to sRGB in PS, although the version of ACR which opens when I use the Filter>ACR option gas no link for ACR settings at the bottom, just "cancel" and "OK" buttons, so no way of seeing what the settings in ACR area.Obviously I am missing something - it's so long since I have had to alter any of my PS workflow that I'm at a bit of a loss. I have this terrible problem 4 days now: Adjustment brush is not working in Camera Raw 10.2I have this problem since the last actualization.I downloaded the zip file for Camera Raw as told in the forums, update Camera Raw with that file (otherwise It was already updated sin the last update), contact the local customer support, contact the remote asistance support, received an email, did what the email said and still not working. Is the second time I have to contact Adobe support for main problems since I use an Asus Zenbook. I don't know what it is. I use the suscription Adobe Photoshop service and Windos OS and I have more problems than people that use Mac OS with a non suscription service. Please, HELP. I work with this. Each day I delay in my work I'm loosing precious time. If I don't work, I can't pay, and if I can't pay and the pay suscription doesn't work, well,, unfortunately Adobe is pushing me to the illegal. Please. Help. 

When i was editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, I was trying to import Canon RAW files but when I pressed import, those pictures were not there but they were in my computer(I was trying to make a hyperlapse but I do not have lightroom so I wanted to select all the images and select image sequence to make it)Can anyone help me with Premiere Pro CC 2018 not accepting my Canon RAW files(CR2)?

I have a few questions regarding the Adobe DNG SDK and if i am using it correctly.So the flow of my program works as follows: i read a custom binary file containing the raw data.This will be the buffer of my output DNG. I can open the produced DNG in the windows preview correctly andalso in Adobe Photoshop, but if I want to open it in some other programs like LibRaw or RawTherapee, the imageis just completely black.I will post my programm and the log of DNGValidate.exe , perhaps you have an idea what went wrong.Here is a link of my DNG. I've been using photoshop for some time now to edit and correct photos that I shoot with my camera but only now I noticed that if I open them with Photoshop, it is opened first in the Camera RAW plugin but is not using the flat image profile that I use when shooting photos.Instead Camera RAW uses a image profile that is similar to a photo without a flat profile.Is this normal? Could it be because of the .ARW Raw file format from Sony?I shoot with the Sony a68, I use the Neutral image profile with -3 on sharpness, saturation and contrast, D-range optimizer on 5 so I have lots of "information" to work with, and I use Photoshop CC 2017 and Camera RAW 9.6.

When making adjustments to raw or jpeg photos in CR I frequently get a typical as shown in attached. I have memory usage at about 19.5 MB.

Hi i bought Lightroom 6 (disk) and it opened my Fuji RAF files from my XE2.  I have since upgraded to XT2 and Lightroom 6 does not open the RAF files.  I don't want to change to DNG files. Is there anyway that I can upgrade without paying a subscription?Thanks

Ok first, I would like to use windows photo viewer. I know of the other options.  I just bought a new dell computer and discovered (like many others) that windows photo viewer had issues. I have scoured the internet with no final solution.  I did get windows photo viewer on the new computer and can view almost any format of photo, other than DNG.  Now here is the weird part.  If I put one of the files that you can set the default to windows photo viewer in the folder with DNGs I can thumb through the DNGs. Without a JPEG or TIFF (for example) photo viewer is not an option.  SO while I have a work around I feel like I am so close. Maybe its stubbornness but I would like to open a DNG through default with windows photo viewer. Its just super weird that if I put a JPEG in the folder with DNGs I am able to view all the DNGs. I have tried to set defaults through right clicking the photo as well as under the control panel and there is no visible way for me to select

I'm hoping someone out there can help, since Adobe will not provide phone support to me because I actually bought the software to use instead of subscribing to it.Anyhow, I cannot work on any of my images in Bridge because I get the following message:Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. Please try purging the central cache in preferences to correct the situation. I have done this, multiple times. I also went into applications and found where I had over 100,000 images still in a cache, and deleted all of those. I have removed almost everything off my computer, putting everything onto an external hard drive in hopes I can get them back on later once I fix this. But, even with almost nothing left on my computer, I still get this message. I end up needing to force quit the program just to get out. I am working on an I-Mac (2011) running with 10.11 (something) operating system.Please help,Bill

When I OPEN an image into Camera Raw & then OPEN, it snaps (small) to top left-hand corner of screen. When I go to 'View>Fit on Screen' the small image snaps to bottom left-hand corner! How to open ARW Sony raw file in Adobe bridge/photoshop CS6I can do it on my desktop in NY with a converter that someone else installed but not here in Paris on my MacBook air and I need to!!

HiJust reinstalled CS5 extended in new PC. All ok but it doesn't recognise RAW files from my Sony camera. Downloaded updated raw plug in which includes the camera details but it still wont recognise the RAW files. Should the plug in be incorporated into the Photoshop program in some way? I appear to be missing somethingcheers Martin
