What are the numbers on the Temperature slider measuring with a RAW file? With the slider, a lower number is warmer colors and a higher number is cooler colors, the opposite of color temperature in Kelvins. Can the RAW number be converted to Kelvins?
I've a Mac Studio M1 and Studio Display. When I Camera Raw to make edits on a smart object, the whole screen flickers slightly for a few seconds. I don't see this in any other application or OS. Sometimes it persists after closing ACR and returning to the active PSD document. I tried to do a screen-record, but it did not record the flicker.
I am taking RAW images in the DNG format using the camera on my drone, the DJI Mini 5 Pro. The problem is that for some reason Adobe Camera Raw seems unable to read the built-in lens profile contained in the metadata of each DNG image even though I am able to extract the lens profile from the metadata without difficulty using the free DGN Opcodes Editor app. I did not have this problem when using the previous model of this drone, the DJI Mini 4 Pro. ACR was able to read the built-in lens profile contained in the metadata of each DNG image and automatically applied the approriate corrections to each image. It worked flawlessly. So I can't undertand why ACR isn't applying the built-in profile contained in images from the DJI Mini 5 Pro. The metadata is there so why isn't ACR reading and applying it? I'm using ACR 18.1.1 . I can't seem to attach a file so here is a link to a random DNG image taken with the DJI Mini 5 Pro.
Hi, I'd really like to see these two missing elements in ACR:1. In the NR tab - for AI NR - add a second control that would adjust ONLY the shadow reduction, independent of the overall level.2. In masks - add a color/chroma NR control to be able to remove chromatic noise only for specific areas. Why is this necessary? As someone who processes photos taken with cheap cameras and smartphones, the problem of noise in the shadows on such cameras remains a persistent issue...forever casual photos from home, photos taken in the evening, and you get problems everywhere where the light doesn't directly hit.I can solve this problem, BUT now I have to create several layers for each photo separately, paint masks, and this takes time and effort, especially if we're working with RAW and extracting a lot of information. If this appears in ACR, it will be a lifesaver! For more than 10 years, I would have ranked this problem in the top 3. When I increace the shadows, noise appears, especia
Using Camera Raw 18.1.1 on Windows 11, the option to reset panels in Camera Raw by holding down ALT and clicking on the title of the panel no longer functions. For instance, while in Masking, you can hold down the ALT key and the titles of each panel, Light, Color, etc, will change to Reset Light, Reset Color, etc. Normally one can click on the title of the panel when it is in this state and it will reset the settings to defaults. However, even though the title does change to the Reset state, nothing happens when the title is clicked. When in the Edit state (not masking) the ALT+Reset option functions normally. I also tested this on my M1 macbook (same Adobe software versions) and this behavior is the same. Also tried both Compact and regular panel layouts as well as Responsive and Single layouts of the panels.

It would be great if adobe considered to increase the limit of file that camera raw can open. Currently it is set at 537mp. I often run past this limit with panoramic images. I get that there will be slow down of responsiveness with the program but it would definitely be helpful for me. I would like to see the size rise to at least 750-800mp or higher. I'd be happy if there was a check box to activate stating there will be consequences or instability. it would be greatly appreciated and save me a lot of effort with the process I currently utilise
I updated to PS 27.2 which comes with Camera Raw 18.1.1. I have a problem in Camera Raw with Select subject, Select background and Select landscape. The error is "unable to load AI module".I updated my nVidia graphics driver software but still no joy.I have now uninstalled PS 27.2 and installed version 27.1 and Camera Raw works now correctly.Dell Inspiron 7160 running Windows 11.I have attached the Photoshop System Info (for version 27.1)Anyone have any ideas?
Hello, I am fedup with LrC and PS recent response. Reflections are not removed at all as like other did. Don't say, my photo issue or anything else from my side. I had more bad photos but got better results before. recently not seeing any results or something, which is not good at allHowever, i can install older version of PS and LrC, but adobe app is not allowing me to install older version of Camera raw. I decided to usean older version at least before 15 version because that was good for me overall. How can i do that? Thanks
Hi,I have a load of profiles that I have created in Camera Raw which I use frequently with digital RAW files from my cameras. However, if I try to use them with .DNG files created by Silverfast then most of my profiles disappear from the dropdown list. They work ok with other .DNGs, but if it came from Silverfast only a couple of them are there.I'm using Photoshop 2026 on a Mac running OS14 Sonoma. Any ideas what's going on and how I can fix it?Thanks!
Hello Adobe Camera Raw Team, I would like to suggest adding an option to customize keyboard shortcut keys in Adobe Camera Raw. Custom shortcuts would greatly improve workflow efficiency, especially for photographers and retouchers who work with large batches of images daily. Being able to assign personal shortcuts for frequently used tools such as Basic adjustments, Masking, Healing, Presets, Compare view, and Reset would save time and reduce repetitive mouse actions. Many professionals already rely heavily on keyboard-driven workflows in Photoshop and Lightroom, and having the same level of shortcut customization in Camera Raw would make it even more powerful and user-friendly. This feature would be especially valuable for: High-volume editing workflows Wedding and portrait retouching Users transitioning between Lightroom and Camera Raw Power users with custom keyboards or control surfaces Thank you for continuously improving Adobe Camera Raw. I hope this feature can

I made a custom profile for a Google Pixel 9 Pro using Calibrite Profiler. Camera Raw will not allow me to use the custom profile because (per Adobe tech support) the profile doesn't specify if it's for the front or rear camera. Aside from the fact that that doesn't, or at least shouldn't, matter, I should still be able to select any profile I want. There's no difference between me using an inappropriate profile and using any of the canned profiles available in Camera Raw. It's all just altering color information based upon a curve, so let me pick whatever I want! This makes it so that I can't support some of my customers based upon the workflows they're creating using the equipment they have.
Title: Camera Raw – Point Color UI bug inside Masks (color field not draggable, panel disappears) Product: Adobe Camera Raw 16.1–16.3 (also affects Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop)OS: Windows 11 Home 25H2GPU: Any (bug is not GPU‑dependent) Description:When using Point Color inside an active Mask, the color field becomes non‑interactive. The color selection circle cannot be moved with the mouse. Only the Hue/Sat/Lum sliders below the color field respond. Additionally, when clicking inside the color field, the entire Mask panel on the right side disappears while the mouse button is held down, and reappears when the mouse button is released. This makes the color field unusable. This issue does NOT occur when no mask is active, and it does NOT occur in Lightroom Classic. It happens both in Camera Raw and in the Camera Raw Filter inside Photoshop. Steps to reproduce:1. Open any image in Camera Raw.2. Create a new Mask (any type: Brush, Linear Gradient, Select Subject, etc.).3. Inside the Mask,
Can we please get a better lens profile for the Canon RF 14-35mm F4. Even with the Automatic lens profile applied, the image has horrible distortion. I've highlighted the worst part, but it persists throughout the whole frameUntitled-1.jpg
I have a Windows 11 pc that has all requirements to run Photoshop properly ( 4 gb graphic card , 32 gb ram, 100gb cache ) . However when working in Camera Raw(latest version) i get an error message only when using the "Landscape mask" option. The message i get is in the photo below . I tried all options possible in the performance window.....non work. Everything else works perfect until i want to use a Landscape mask.
DNGs generated with DNG 1.7.1 JPEG-XL lossy mode by the latest Adobe DNG converter can not display correctly on iOS 18.7.2, iOS 26.1 and iOS 26.2 They will render complete black in Photos App
After the last update of Camera Raw, images that are cropped, are not automatically fit to screen. In addition, when opening an image-file, the image is not fit to screen. Previous versions had the images automatically fit to screen. I use Photoshop 27.1.0 and Camera Raw 18.0. Windows 11 Home 24H2. Language: Norwegian.
Hi all,I wondered where to put the ACR AI tools (Denoise, RAW Details, Super Res) in the whole ACR workflow and asked the AI to create a comprehensive workflow. The result was:AI RAW Details (optional, if low ISO, image rich in details) or else AI Denoise (optional, if high ISO and noisy)AI Super Resolution (optional)Crop / Composition adjustmentsManual Noise Reduction (if needed)Manual SharpeningManual Edit: Tone / Colour / Exposure adjustments ...Export / SaveWhat do you think about this AI proposal? Thanks for sharing your experience!Martin
Hi, I love my vignette, but since I bought my R1 and updated Photoshop, I now have to deselect lens profile manually every time that I open an image in ACR, despite lens profile having been deselected in the camera, sure, there must be a way to have ACR not apply lens profile automatically, and Bridge as well....???
Looking for a little assistance if possible. Trying to help out a friend whose wedding photographer seemingly had a corrupt card while shooting. The images exist - I just can't open them. I've used File Scavenger to see if there was anything hidden on the card, but it didn't find anything useful. At this point, I can see the files on the card. What's odd is that I see a "like" file by the same name but starting with a period and then an underscore. These files are mostly in the 4KB range, whereas the CR3 files are much larger. I'm guessing the card is corrupt or that there is/was a process that sees the ._xxx file as a cached file temporarily before it "releases" the full raw file. Not sure - but I haven't figured out a solution yet. Since they're wedding photos, I'd like to give it the ol' college try. Also, I've tried inserting the card back into another Canon camera to see if I could view the images - I could not. I took a few additional RAW shots and could see t
I would like to suggest an important improvement to the Denoise AI workflow in Camera Raw and Lightroom. Currently, if Denoise AI is applied after other edits (curves, masks, color adjustments, lens corrections, etc.), the entire pipeline is recalculated from the RAW file, resulting in significantly slower processing times—especially with high-resolution files (50–60 MP). A manual workaround already exists and works very well:1. Copy all current adjustments.2. Reset the RAW to its original state (no edits, clean raw file).3. Apply Denoise AI (much faster this way).4. Paste back the adjustments. This produces identical results but completes in a fraction of the time.It would be extremely helpful if Camera Raw could perform this optimization automatically. For example, the software could: - Temporarily store the user’s adjustments- Apply Denoise AI on a clean RAW- Reapply the adjustments on the new DNG- Automatically refresh masks and adjustments This would massively improve the user exp
