I had envisioned creating my content elsewhere and importing it into Cp 12 as a video, and intersperse quizzes, interactive elements, etc) Some users (Stagprime, Liltbili) are advising that as much as possible I should consider creating the content within Cp 12.  So I am exploring the option of creating content within Cp. A problem is that I can't create very much on the Cp slides, as I can in Keynote or PPTX. (Shapes, PNGs, etc). This is because Cp seems so very limited in what it can do as a slide-making program. So then I thought about creating the visuals I want elsewhere and importing them into Cp in a "1-PNG-per-Cp-Slide" sort of way. Trouble is, there is no way to have a Cp 12 slide be just one image--only images plus text, and only multiple images, at that. I understand we can "uncheck" the texr/title boxes, but I cannot find a way to get just one image on a slide, and to also have that image take up most of teh screen real estate in all three screen sc

Hi all - it's a long shot but I have a legacy Captivate project from 2008 that I would really benefit from converting into a usable modern format. Sadly it seems the new version can't open the old '.cs' format files.  Is there any way that anyone knows of converting these old files into something usable? Alternatively, because I have the flash output, is there any way of emulating their display in something that can handle the html output the way the old Flash plugin used to?

I’ve created a curved text using Text on Path and skewed it for the effect I want. But I’m struggling to add a shadow that follows the same angle and shape.How can I create a shadow that aligns properly with the text style?

Storyline can connect to Articulate's web-authoring tool "Rise" which allows multiple sources of information to live inside one interactive course page. Does Captivate have this capability with a web-authoring tool?I'm blown away at how cool Articulate Rise is, and Storyline files (along with a bunch of other file types) can be dragged and dropped into a single page, allowing the learner to really explore a topic without having to click through constantly. Does Captivate have the ability to connect with a tool like this?

Searching for assets is difficult when I can only see them in the panel menu. They are too small. Is there a way to undock the panels like you can in classic? If not, how can I view larger versions of the items available in the assets panel?

Hello,  Just wondering if anybody encountered a similar problem: The photos in Assets are not loading into the all new Adobe Captivate. Any thoughts on this? Thank you. 

I used Image Trace in Illustrator to turn a hand-drawn sketch into a logo. Everything looked fine in Illustrator, but after exporting it as an SVG, some random lines appeared that weren’t visible before.Is this a common issue with Image Trace? Any tips on how to clean it up or prevent it from happening?

Hi! I am creating a simulation training for a process in our software system. I want the user to press the ENTER key to move to the next screen. In Captivate Classic I would use a Text Entry Box and add the shortcut ENTER. Does anyone know if this action can be done in Captivate 12? I added the text entry box however, I cant find a "shortcut" to place the ENTER action and when previewing the simulation, it performs the action of a Click box to move to the next screen.  Thank you!

How do I rearrange the page order in the carousel widget (Captivate ver. 12.6.0.63)?

Hello, using Captivate 12.4 creating a training simulation. I have added an Input Field text box. This only has resize handles on the left and right hand sides. Tiny circles located in the centre of the left side and the right. I have watched a few videos online and on all videos there are small resize dots in each corner of the Input Field box.  How do I get the resize dots (handles) in each corner of the Input Field box please. I need to shrink the Input box smaller than the left and right resize handles will allow. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I'm a recent user, so I might not be aware if this issue has been flagged or experienced by others. After having to recreate my whole 10Go project from scratch due to supposedly corrupted quiz slides, I now face new problems :  #1. I open the project, then it totally freezes, can't do anything, but when force quit, it doesn't mention "Not responding".#2. When project is open, sometimes the top menu disappears.#3. If I miraculously succeed in publishing to scorm (xAPI standard), the zip file is only 10% of the project's size, otherwise it crashes before the end of the process.#4. At the beginning of the timeline, on all slides, there is a little "face-like" icon, and according to support agents it means something is corrupted but no one seems to know why... Note: I work on Macbook pro M2, Captivate 12.6 I'm desperately needing help to solve these. Even if agents are showing good intentions, Adobe's support is absolutely not up to the level we can expect from

Are there more illustrated character options available in Adobe eLearning tools, similar to the default one that appears in the character + text box slide?I only seem to get realistic photo-style characters when trying to change it.

Everyone on my team is getting an error message when trying to create a Review link. Should be no surprise that this very unuser friendly software is having issues.  I mean look at their website.  I get that they don't offer any sort of spellcheck in Captivate but for goodness sack, use some spellcheck when you are publishing a website!

Converting old PowerPoint courses into HTML5 format for upload into our new LMS, just trying to get the courses usable until we're sure the LMS is configured properly. The slides import just fine into Classic, they look accurate in the Captivate interface, but as soon as I preview or publish the course to my computer, on some of the slides it rotates some of the text boxes upside down. Usually it's only one text box in the entire presentation. I cannot figure out how to stop it from doing this. I tried rotating the textbox in PowerPoint to see if it would flip it back around to upright, but no, it's stays upside down. Left side of image is the course open in Captivate Classic looking correct, right side is preview of the same course in a browser with the text box rotated. What am I doing wrong here? 

Hi everyone, I am adding a clickbox where user has to press ALT + 2. However, when he/she clicks on number 2 in top number row it works perfectly, but when he/she clicks on 2 in number pad, it does not happen anything!In other words, video doesn't proceed when I click on number pad.I've already tried to create 2 clickboxes in the same spot, where I set two different shortcuts (ALT + 2 from both places).However, it didn't work. Please, it is something that had everything to be easy, but it is consuming much time, more than expected so far. I hope you can understand and help me. Next, you will find a screenshot of my project, where I am trying to set this command  "PRESS ALT + 2" (in Portuguese, my first language) for showing a menu shortcut:PS: I've searched and read another topics about this issue, but none of them has shown a solution so far to this issue.

Hi Team, I am facing issue in Quiz Buttons color related.We have two version of windows 10 and 11. When we work on captivate 2019 in windows 11  operating system the Quiz Buttons color appears in white. But when we work on same file captivate 2019 in windows 10 operating system the Quiz Buttons color appears in gray. can you please confirm how this can be fixed to appears buttons color same using both operating system.Please see attached screenshots for your reference. 

Hi friends. I have installed the New Captivate and uninstalled the Classic Version. Captivate opens, but when I try to acces any of - New Project, New Simulation, Templates, Learn - it enters on Opening Mode like this screen and it doesn't work.  I have restarted many times, removed all the files related to captivate, but still doesn't work. Any idea? Hi all,Hope you are well! I was wondering if anyone could please help me out. I have read blogs and replies to similar post discussions and tried those things, but for some reason I seem to still be doing something wrong.I am using Captivate 12.The problem I am having is that when I reach the quiz results page, I had built it to enable 'Continue' and 'Retake Quiz' buttons; however, when passing the quiz, the Continue button is not even appearing. When failing the quiz, the Retake button does work, though.I have attached below all the settings I have at the moment and what things look like:      Thanks! 

I'm using the embed code that Vimeo gave me for embedding. I have the 'full screen' option turned on in Vimeo and the icon shows up in the player. If I play the video from the Vimeo website it will go fullscreen, but when I try to make it full screen from within the published Captivate project it doesn't do anything.I've tried the embed code with both the default '... webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen> ' and just with the single 'allowfullscreen'. Neither makes it go full screen. Any ideas?I'm using Captivate 8.0.1
