Hi,I have created a project on captivate but my Scrome file is not working in the LMS system, i have also tried in the SCORM Cloud but still facing the same issue , no result found.

Hi All, I recently made the jump from Captivate 2019 to the latest version of Captivate via the Adobe subscription model. Unfortunately, I’m having challenges importing my captivate file from the 2019 version into the new Captivate. Is anyone able to provide any insight as to how I might be able to import Captivate files from the 2019 version?  When I double click on the file of interest, I’m only return to the intro/home page of Captivate. Alternatively, when I try to identify my file using the Open button and navigating to the location of the file, the file doesn’t appear as an option.

I'm using Captivate on a Mac, and I'm constantly having issues like the following:  I copy text from Word and it pastes it twice. Captivate stays stuck and doesn't let me do any actions until I change the page and return to the previous one. Many times I have to redo the work because it goes back to previous points instead of saving my changes.  I'm wasting a lot of time, does anyone have any idea why this is?

I'm experiencing an issue where i have liberally applied Adobe Captivate fonts across a project but when I go to publish the project it will not allow me to add a domain in the Adobe Fonts area on the publish settings and it's all grayed out. What do I do? I want to ensure users are able to see the Adobe fonts and not some dumb web font replacement. @Paul Wilson CTDP @Lilybiri have you seen this behavior? 

Hi all,  Something weird is happening with my audio files in which they sound normal in Apple Music and they sound normal in the timeline within Adobe Captivate (version 12.3.0.12), but in preview mode, the audio sounds far away and distorted (almost as if it is underwater). I have opened a blank project and just imported the audio onto the slide and the same issue is occurring, so there is no interaction or effect that I have implemented that is causing the distortion. We received the files as mp3 files but requested them as WAV files hoping that would resolve the issue, but sadly it has not. I've also imported files from past e-learning modules and they appear normal in the preview, so it may be something with the audio files themselves? I am unsure. I've also reached out to Adobe's support team on this and we are tackling the issue. Has anyone else encountered this? Hello! I'm researching Captivate and was wondering if anyone knows how the videos are hosted. Do the published videos need to be stored in a specific location? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I don't speak API, HTML, or any IT language, so if you could explain your response in plain English, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I cannot see the grouping on the left side of timeline.  Even when I try to expand/ collapse timeline, I still cannot see or view the left side of timeline.  Can someone help?  I've checked the menus and settings and don't see anywhere I can easily get this to view again. there used to be arrows to expand or collapse my groups.

Hi, When I take a pano photo on my iPhone and upload to captivate 360 VR it seems okay until you look up or down then it looks distorted and doesn't show it correctly. Is there any solution other than a 360 camera?  I have access to a mobile and some cameras but don't know how to avoid that issue. Kind Regards

I am new to Adobe Captivate I just got a license to create in house e leanring for my organization. I was hoping to use it to create interactive PDFs for micro learning courses. I am disappointed that this doesn't seem possible since it feels like a natural option for an e-laerning tool. Especially one from Adobe. I know it is possible to do with inDesign but I don't have the time to learn the in and outs and master the learning curve of that application. Please share any simple ways to overcome this huge barrier to implementing my plan. I think this is a really good use case for Adobe to consider adding the feature.

How do I upload a ppsx file that has a screen recording (no audio) into Captivate? I want the screen recorded slides to continue to play once uploaded. Is there a way to do this?

I started learning CapClassic just throwing objects on a slide and playing around with interactivity. Of course I ended up with something I liked, so kept going. Ended up being the basis for a course I want to keep but of course I hadn't explored themes and Content Master slides back then (yes, I do things backwards/the hard way a lot). After learning about CMs I created one and want to apply it to the old course and would prefer a blank theme since it was all custom/manual content originally. Can I do this, yea or nay (without screwing everything up)? Thanks for any help.

I need help installing CP2019, an error message appears saying "Update your browser" (the browser is updated).The help chat send me here to get some help... (i cannot believe that I paid fortune for license and not received help even to installed the app).

I have a super simple layout here, to illustrate what is happening. Users will complete their assessments, and they are given an accuracy score that is expressed in ##.##%, such as 61.36%.For our needs, we then have a follow-up slide just after this one that needs to report that exact 61.36% score... but I cannot find a variable that will report it.  The only thing I have found is cpInfoPercentage... but that rounds the score.  I need the score un-rounded.Can anyone help me with the correct variable, so that I can have the accurate number represented on the slide?  The issue is, we have users scoring a 79.81%, where 80% is required to pass.  For our exacting standars, (and the LMS), 79.81 is NOT passing... but the rounded score of 80 gives the appearance that the user has passed the assessment.  Can anyone help me get it so that exact number to report out via a variable? Thank you in advance!

Used 2023 to create a Simulation (demo only). Not sure if this is a Captivate issue or a me issue.On one of the slides, I would like to add some additional instructions in different spots on the screen (ie. "Before you click over there, verify that this is correct over here").Under "Components", I added 2 more Instructions, altered the text, placed them where I want them, adjusted when they display in the timeline, etc.However, when I Preview this slide, I get a "Something went wrong" error.If I preview just that slide, the error appears immediately.If I preview from the beginning, the whole thing plays correctly, including that slide, and I get the error when it tries to move to the next slide.In either situation, if I hit the next button on the playbar, the rest plays just fine.If I remove the 2 additional instructions, the problem goes away. Is this a bug? or am I using the Instructions incorrectly or not configuring them etc.I'd appreciate any help.

I'm playing with the new Captivate. How do you delete items, buttons, for example, from either the timeline of the slide itself?

HiI recently purchased the latest version of Adobe Captivate, and I am excited to start using the new features. However, I am facing an issue when trying to open my old projects, which were created using Adobe Captivate 2019.Whenever I attempt to open these projects in the new version, they do not seem to load properly, and I am unable to work on them. This is causing a significant disruption, as I have several ongoing projects that I need to continue working on.Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? If there are any specific steps I need to follow or settings I need to adjust, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Additionally, if there is a compatibility issue, I would like to know if there are any available workarounds or if an update is planned to address this problem. 

I have been working on a project for several days/weeks, currently 40 long scrolling slides with several activities, custom quizzes, videos etc. I have also set up an internal navigation/TOC, using Go to slide actions. Everything works fine, until I insert a new slide. If I insert a new slide - regular slide or quiz slide - all internal links break. Meaning, the Go to slide links are still set up correctly, there is no red dot, but in Preview or published all these links don't go to their linked slide, but to the next slide. No matter what I do. Relinking doesn't do anything. Even if I take out the newly inserted slide, all links still go to the next slide. The only thing that helped so far, is making a new project and copying every single slide over, setting up each and every link again. Then it works again for a while. Until I insert a new slide. This happened the third time in a row now, so it doesn't seem to be just a random bug. Is this a known problem? Does anyone

It is really headache to ask, each and every small issue in captivate community.I am working on a simulation project using Captivate 12.3, and the middle of the development, I encoutered with an issue " No right click for click boxes" in Captivate 12......😨😨😨😨 I request to Adobe to clear whether they are going to add Right Click functionality to Click boxes or do they have any trick (if yes please share). if Adobe will not add Right click functionality My organization have think about other alternative to Captivate.

Problem While installing Adobe Captivate (2017 release) or Adobe Captivate (2019 release), the installation may get interrupted and the following error message displays:   Sorry, Installation failed We are unable to install Adobe Captivate this time. (Error code: 103) Workaround Follow the steps below:   Re-run the Captivate installer Download the installer package. For Captivate 2019 or Captivate 2017.0.1, download the installer from Captivate downloads. For CP 2017 and ealier versions, you'd have already downloaded the installer or you can contact Captivate support if you're unable to locate the installer. If you have the installer already downloaded, extract the 7z file, and run setup.exe.   Creative Cloud cleaner tool If the issue still persists, download and run the cleaner tool. Bonjour à toutes et tous. Je post ici car j'ai vraiment besoin d'aide, ca fait quelques semaines que je buche.Je travaille sur Captivate pour créer un contenu sur LMS.En l'occurence je dois exporter mon quizz sur TalentLMS en format scorm1.2. Oui moodle pour l'instant je ne peux pas me le permettreEn exportant sous format scorm a priori tout va bien.JE peux interagir pas de soucis.Mais les reglages sont trop hasardeux. A un moment l'interaction avec Talentlms se passe très bien en cas de succès et hop il m'affiche le message de felicitations du LMSEn cas d'echec, soit il me ferme e navigateur, sous un autre reglage il ne fait rien. Bref j'ai bien compris que c'est dans les paramétrages du quizz mais quel paramètres choisir a la fin d'un quizz en cas d'echec pour obtenir un comportement correct, a savoir qu'il envoi les info de score mais permette a l'etudiant soit de poursuivre le cours soit en tout cas de déclencher le message d'echec du lms. En vous remerciant. &n

Hi, I am using the new Adobe Captivate. Did anyone experience here the cutting out of audio in simulation slides? How did you fix it? It sounds ok when I test it but when in preview or review mode, I keep having the same issue. Hope someone can help me here.Thank you

I have simple requirement, while playing video, i want to pause the video , need user to attend quiz before proceed further video. I want to add a button over specific position in video to click by user to show the Quiz .How to achive this. I cannot able to drag button over the video

 I’m in the process of making a widget for captivate. I have been having issues with images not being accessible with my javascript, sometimes. The issue that I have been able to track down that a line of code seems to only retrieve 4 of the img json files that captivate generators. I am getting the json files with the images with: ‘window.parent.cp.imagesJSONCache’The result I get when I console.log is  Looking through this object, the image that I need does not exist in these json files that were retrieved.  I can use ‘window.parent.cp.imageToJSONPathMap’  to pull information of which json file the image lives in. In my screenshots I need the img2.json which isn’t loaded with the JSONCache.    I don’t know if there is a way to get in ALL the json files or grab the one I need with javascript  if it doesn't load. Or if there should be another route I should be taking to get these images?
