I am using a brand new MacBook Pro.I am running a fully updated version of CA.I am running Mojave that is completely up to date.I have changed the input source in CA's audio preferences to the MacBookPro's microphone, and back to the digital mixer that I have plugged in via USB and back again, and back again.I have made sure that the sample rate is 48000 and the buffer is 512.I have tried checking and unchecking "Attempt to force hardware to match document sample rate.I have attempted to create a new aggregate device in audio devices and run the audio through that.I can record audio from either source in other programs, the laptop is receiving audio. I can playback audio from CA totally fine. But, when I've got this program up the green bar monitor reads "Audio Too Low" and it only records silence.I have uninstalled and reinstalled CA. Nothing has fixed the issue.I had run CA fine before months ago and everything ran fine. Then I upgraded the OS.Please tell me there is
Is there a way to set up different pupil ranges for certain eye states? For example, with a character that has a 'squint' expression with a smaller bounding box of motion - the pupils using the default pupil range in the 'squint' state will disappear behind the eyelids when looking up or down. I've tried adding another layer with the more narrow 'pupil range for squint' and various combinations of swap sets and combined layer triggers and nothing seems to over-ride the default pupil range. The pupils still go too high or too low when squinting. Much and many thanks for the help.
Hi,I can't seem to get my puppet to stay put. I've followed along with the tutorials and looked on the forums, followed the steps and still haven't had success. I believe I have everything in the right order, a crown only on my character's name and the fixed buttons attached to the body positioned over the feet, but still not success. I have exported my puppet and here is the drop box info:Dropbox - MASONpuppet.puppetThanks so much for your help!
Hi everyone, Due to Covid we're in a tricky situation where we need to interview a bunch of scientists (approx 15 mins in total) for a web series - the problem is that the speakers are scattered across the US and we can't physically be in their homes to film them so the idea is to use CH to turn them into cartoon versions of themselves. Sounds straightforward (or so I thought). First of all, we won't be able to get each of the speakers to install (and learn) CH to record themselves so instead we're sending them a camera on which to record themselves. This means we'll end up with footage of them which we’ll have to track in AE and subsequently export that data to CH. However, since these speakers are not accustomed to speaking to camera there are likely to be issues such as the face being turned entirely to the side or hands in front of the face, which won’t sit well (I assume) with the AE tracker. Does anyone here know of a workaround for this? A virtual web cam perhaps
HelloI have a problem with Adobe Character Animate.I was making a character in Adobe Character Animate great and my camera and my microphone worked perfectly, and my record was good. Suddenly I saw the Audio Level Too Low doesn't record anything, and my lip-sync doesn't move in my character face. The icon for the camera and microphone is blue and I checked the control panel to make sure that they are working perfectly.I would be happy to help me.Thank you

Hi, I need a help with this problem:My puppet raises its hand above head. In a middle of movement it swaps hand to point (attention). When I set hand to swap it back to default in the middle of movement down, it flips hand to default before I press the trigger. If I set flip layer end in timeline to whole movement end, it swaps at the beginning of movement down. I just cannot find the way, how to set it up and down alike and reverse. Thank you for your replies, Me2D
So I've built a couple puppets in Illustrator and imported them into Character Animator; the blue puppet is permanently in right profile, and at certain points in the animation, I've used Transform to rotate her head so she looks upward or downward - I found this just worked better for my purposes than using Head Turner behaviors. You can see the Rotation keyframes in the screenshot (for the blue puppet.) When I manually drag the current-time indicator over the keyframes, I can see her head rotates up and down nicely-- I've added dangle physics to her hair, and I can see that moves as well. But when I actually hit play or record, her head doesn't move at all, like the keyframes aren't there. At best, it rotates down slightly and just freezes there for the rest of the scene. It doesn't rotate in After Effects where I've linked the scene, either. The frustrating part is, I've done the exact same thing with the purple puppet, and his he

Here is my puppet in IllustratorWhen I gring it into Character Animatorit looks like this: I've tried to correct it by closing down Ch and re-opening. I've taken the eyeball from the arm in Ch and the arm disappeared but "feathers" didn't. Somehow, the two got separated in their current incarnation. How can I make it work?
Hi Support. I am posting this for information purposes. If this is not the correct Forum location, please advise. Today I had a total locked up of CH and I had to use Task Manager and end the task to recover. I have been receiving errors on an infrequent basis. I have not been keeping tabs on them. Now I will. Here is the first one. I occured when I was working with the scene camera. I was attempting to set an X,Y and Zoom. When I clicked on the X's clock to set a position, the error occured. For what it is worth . . . Platty Puss
Hey guys, I'm having this issue with Character Animator where the two tracks which show audio waves are out of sync with each other. It ruins the entire recording and it only started after I updated from beta. It creates a sort of echo effect to the recording. See attached image for visualization of the issue. Anyone else experiencing this? https://i.imgur.com/KVIexoi.png
Hello there, the project that I am urgently working on right now won´t open anymore, and giving me the error "libgit2 error -3(9/object not found - no match for id (6c194..."I have read through the other forums posts and contacted support and have learned to not have my project folder synced via Nextcloud or other cloud services in the future, as this seems to be a common error. However I was wondering if there is someone out there who could help me recover my last project file. The output error when trying to open is the following: libgit2 error -3(9/object not found - no match for id (6c194...The log file recorded this: {"message":"libgit2 error -3(9/Object not found - no match for id (c0aeda448819395d725482247ada459bb4a9d9f6)) returned from git_revparse_single(&headP, repoP, specZ)","seconds":3747.4625493,"timestamp":"2020.06.16 17:09:57","oid_error":"libgit2 error -3(9/Object not found - no match for id (c0aeda448819395d725482247ada459bb4a9d9f6)) returned from git_revpa

Hi, I created an illustration, then applied Effect Sketch (Torn Edges). However when I import this new created illustration in Character Animator I can see only the character without the applied styles. Just solid paths. Do you have any idea what I forgot? Thanks in advance!
Hi, relatively new to Character Animator and have not worked with custom puppets yet. I tried designing my own character on illustrator. But I seem to have issues in the walk cycle. The arms don't seem attached and the walk feels too jumpy and not a smooth movement. And the face warps in a weird way Please help me out. I have attached the puppet file for debugging. It would also be great if you could show me a screen capture of how the debugging was done so I don't have to disturb you again for something of much less significance. Thank you for your time and amazing efforts! I have also attached a video of how the walk looks right now https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1C3svi5U7hjNd5HOzO_NJGY5uAKrz6dbE?usp=sharing ChProject Filehttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1JEy5uEUyvumY6WvphbeRiHTGhUKQ1kW8/view?usp=sharing >puppet File
1. My main issue is with the hands of my characters rotating slowly. It is difficult to create pose to pose movement as I am waiting for the previous animation to "finish." See youtube link for example. I have lots of different triggers/hand positions that I fear might be causing issues. However, I run into the same issue when I duplicate puppet and only use a couple of hand positions. Note: This is happening with all of my puppets. See screenshots. I don't see any issues in mesh and believe I have rigged correctly. It's a large project but happy to upload if it helps de-bug. 2. I am also having issues with my body swap set. All of my dragger properties work fine in the frontal; view but do not move when the puppet is orientated left or right. Any help is greatly appreciated! Chris
