My artwork keeps getting distorted by walk, motion library, etc.Everything rigged according to Okay Samurai tutorials.Frontal view has two fixed points for feet on the ground (also distrorting artwork even when standing still), and I made two quarterside views for walking and dancing.I have not used anything more than Limb IK, Head&Body Turner and Walk. All points also tagged according to Okay Samurai.Layers are distributed in the following order:Character: -Head: >Frontal >Quarterside Left >Quarterside Right -Body: >Frontal >Quarterside Left >Quarterside Right
I'm at my wit's end with this problem. Char Animator lip sync is throwing in S visemes at the beginning of my words and in between words. The audio is super clean. I use an audio booth and a high-end mic, and it's audio engineered to be clean. If I try to use a loaded transcript, Character animator crashes 10% through, even though it's only a 5-minute animation. My computer is a high-end gaming machine just bought this year so it's not a processing power or memory issue. I've altered the lip sync settings changing the db muting and the viseme detection and the problem doesn't improve. I loaded an overly noise reduced and noise gate processed audio test file, and the same problem happens. Here's a screen capture of the issue. (and attached) https://youtu.be/7nOPv4yqC7s I've wasted all afternoon trying to solve this problem and I am so frustrated.
Hi, I have tried exporting the clips from Character Animator via Alpha and also PNG sequence. When I import to AE or Premier Pro with 1920 x 1080 setting, the clip is not blurry and not sharp as in Character Animator. Does anybody know the workaround and guide for this issue?
Please check the puppet and help me resolving the issue. Thank you in advance!https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GZoWlWSaDKG7-dFq7j4EFxPHF4tZb6My/view?usp=sharing
Aloha All,I am rigging a character and am having issues with the mouth tags. I've created a mouth group and all work except for the "W-Oo" tagged layer. The behaviours work fine for all the other mouth layers but I can't get the "W-Oo" to be recognized by the behaviours. I've tagged it properly and checked everything I can think of to check. Can anyone advise me on what to check or identify the problem?Mahalo!
I've looked at the Character Animator tutorial titled: Building a puppet from scratch. It begins by importing a Puppet- Blank Face Template. Where can I find this template? Is there a blank body template also? I want to create my own character but need help starting the process. Thank you for your assistance.
I watched the Getting Started in Adobe Character Animator CC video but the blank face in the video is not in one of the choices for edit. Is it still there or was it taken out?
I finally deleted an old version of media encoder to free up space. I have the updated version. When I attempt to export a puppet to encoder, character animator suggests that media encoder is not installed. The quick export option would be a work around but I need the alpha layer transparent in order to take the puppet into after effects to interact with the background. Please help!
Would it be possible to make handles and tags universal across a rig in such a way if I move A handle tagged "left wrist" in a FRONT profile, and I switch to a LEFT or RIGHT Profile the subsequent tagged handle "left wrist" would be moved as well. It would make posing for animation faster
I'm using an HP laptop and when select the puppet in the character animator, I got the GPU error, my system had DirectX installed. Anyway to fix it, so I can use the character animator application? The screenshot attached with all the system configure/settings Thanks,
Hello, I'm trying to figure how to stop the clipping issues when the a limb goes over another limb. Also, the character seems to want to squat down even though I have sticks in the legs. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks ESO
I was wondering if you could change your pre-recorded audio lip-synch once it's already been sent out to a customer who doesn't have the Adobe creative cloud? Like can they change the audio on their end to provide their own words or do they need to be a subscriber in adobe as well? Thanks for all your help
I have created a few character puppets, and their bodies all are three-quarters views facing to the right. If I want two of the puppets to "face" each other, how can I make one of the two puppets turn around... I want the puppet body to "reverse" or "mirror" itself, the opposite way of the way I originally created it? In this way the two puppets' bodies will face each other...
So I finished my first scene and for whatever reason it starts correct then I lose characters and then finally an all black screen. And on top of that I dont have any audio to go along with my edit. Whats going on here ? By 10 sec all my artwork is gone so I don't know what the problem is HELP!!
I am currently working on a puppet project. I have imported the puppet into CA and have tried to rig the limbs and others. I for some reason cannot figure out why the arms and hands are at a stand still even after adding handles for elbow, wrist and shoulder. I've also added them to be draggable. This is very frustrating considering I've troubleshot most of the problems I have encountered but I am somewhat stumped... any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated. also, I cannot seem to make the right side "properties" tab pop back up. I accidentally double clicked on it and cannot figure out how to make it pop back up...
I got a character with left and right head poses, this works fine, but when i add parallax only the right side works, when i turn my head to the left side, the face will snap to the center, layers all are the same on the left and right head turn in PS. been trying to fix this for a day now and i cant find the problem.
Hello everyone ! New users here, I am trying to import a VO from GarageBand in Character Animator but cannot figure it out. I tried converting the file over to iTunes first and that did not seem to work either. What is the simplest way to get an audio file uploaded into Character ANimator? Is there a more optimal recording software? ThanksEric
Hi, I am very close to completeing my puppet after numorous issues, however I have a mesh issue. I think I have corrected the independance, but nothing has changed. Can somone please have a look? I am beyond frustrated on a Friday afternoon and I have stopped drinking alcohol, so I am about to lose my mind.
Since Cameras can be set up with replays and takes like typical puppets. I'm wondering if it's possible to export these cameras with their replays to be used in other projects. For example, if I create a couple of dynamic zooms for close up, medium shots, and wide shots. Can I export these cameras with their various dynamic zooms?
The scene zoom aliases all of the hard edges. It would be nice if we could make it render as nearest-neighbor, which would allow pixel art to work at a 1:1 scale with only a zoom in the scene. Currently you have to scale up all of the assets you are working with, so that they do not get blurry when looked at. These means you have to scale the art down, to work on it, and then scale it back up to use character animator.
hidoes anyone know why I cant edit the character of character animator in Photoshop or Illustrator? The programs just don't open up when I select "edit orginal"
I been using character animator for 2 years now. never had an issue with the program till these past few weeks. i keep getting these errors. wont even let me rig my character. I am not using any cloud services. i am on a desktop and everything is in my internal hard drive. I un installed the program 3 times. I installed an older version of character animator to see if that would work but no luck. i keep getting this error with any version of character animator.
I love how you can edit trigger performances from within your timeline in CA (and even swap triggers), but I would love to be able to see and edit the timing of each discreet trigger frame from within the timeline. This would make syncronizing character trigger movements with keyframed props more precise and minimize unexpected timing results when you export your movie (given how loose the accuracy of the trigger playback is while editing in CA).
I want a feature with whichI can type in exact frame (e.g. 00:07:08:22)and move the playhead to that framejust like in AE and PR.
Hello,I have added the motion library behavior to one of my puppets in a scene where I used a walking recorded motion so the character walks into the scene. However, when the recorded piece is placed at the start of the scene, both puppets eyes are squinting or almost closed during the motion. When I move the the motion to later in the scene, this issue does not happen. I'm pretty green at using Character Animator and not sure what I may be doing wrong. I've attached a snippet of the issue I am experiencing (note: the sound is muted intentionally). Any advice would be helpful.
