There is create users, update users, create meetings, invite users to meetings, remove users from meetings.But there is no way to update or delete a meeting from Adobe Connect using the API?Please assist, as these are very basic features that would be needed. Am I missing something?Thanks.

I've asked this same question in another forum, but I am still unable to locate the answer that I am looking for. Basically I am wanting to extract the cursor location information that Adobe Connect uses to properly display a presenter's mouse movements during the playback of a recorded session. If I download a local ZIP file of a recording and examine all of the XML files, none of them seem to relate to the mouse's location over time. I've even looked at all of the metadata that is embedded into each of the FLV files. No such luck there either.I know this data is being saved because the cursor actions are overlaid/replayed during a server-side playback of a recording, but it does not get included in the XML files of the ZIP when downloading a local copy. Does anyone have a thought as to where I can pull this data? I have nearly 50 recording sessions that I need to access this data for.Thanks for any help!-Bill

Is there a way that I can queue up a series of new content files for uploading to Connect? Or perhaps uploading all files within a folder? Any thoughts?-Bill

Hi, I saw an update before regarding automated conversion to mp4 as a feature coming in 9.1 but can not find any references to it anymore! Does anyone know if this is still an upcoming feature? It's something that would be absolutely invalueable to us and save us countless hours of making offline flv recordings.Many thanks,Nabil

I would like to designate someone as a host so that everytime they sign into a particular meeting they are listed as a "host".  I do know how to change their status once they are in a meeting. 

I posted this in the Adobe Acrobat general discussion forum and was pointed to this forum. Apparently this has something to do with Adobe Connect? Keep in mind as I post this question that these machines are never connected to the Internet. So if the solution breaks Adobe Connect or breaks anything that requires an internet connection, that's just fine.Some security software our enterprise is installing changes Windows .vbs file extension from "execute" to "open in Notepad." When the computer logs on, Notepad automatically launches and "runaddinchecker.vbs" is opened. The user has to close this to move on. This is very specific software that more often than not is run on closed domains or stand-alone (no Internet, either way). So there is no need to run this script. Can anyone tell me the best way to disable this? Either manually or (preferably) automatically? I really need to be able to run a script or command line that will disable this from running. We recently publish content (Captivate project published at 40 mb) promoted as a Course. The behavior that I notice in "Course" mode is that a blank grey screen appears before there is any indication of a preloader. For some users, it is taking about 4-5 minutes just to see the beginning. I understand the purpose of the initial screen is that it is determining whether the learner had previously visited, and if so, Adobe Connect, will redirect the user to the specifc slide they left off. In any case, this long delay of a blank screen is happening for many first time users.In my reading of the forums, this sounds similar to what users describe using the Moodle client.http://forums.adobe.com/message/5319326But the thing is, we are not using Moodle, We are just communicating via the API native to Adobe Connect through our web interface.The common variable is Captivate 6, so I am suggesting that there may be a bug within Captivate that is causing this issue.Any help?

I have a task to make a list of all users in the platform.Any ideea how can I export a list from the platform ?

Right now I must choose between having attendees join the meeting by selecting one or the other - phone or computer.  How can I make it possible to allow attendees to choose between both options?

Hi there - We moved to Adobe Connect Pro from Citrix GoToTraining about six weeks ago and having numerous teething issues. While Adobe Connect gives participants an amazing experience, the experience for Presenters isn't quite as slick as Webex or Citrix it seems.One example is the ability to mute all participants but not mute hosts and presenters. This works seamlessly in GoToTraining - just hit Mute All and all the participants go quiet. If I use the Mute All option in the Attendee pod in Adobe Connect it mutes everyone including all hosts and presenters. The ability to mute all participants only is so useful when participants are joining randomly at various times and not muting themselves - while we can mute individual participants at our, its painful to keep going through the participant list hunting for the one participant who is not on mute.I saw in another post something about enabling a Lecture Mode in the Audio menu, but we don't seem to have this option in our Adobe Connect.

Is anyone using Operator Assisted or Event Plus calling with InterCall (Inter Call) integration as part of the Adobe Connect Service?We will be using Adobe Connect as our new webcast platform and we are trying to figure out the workflow for integration with our audio bridge vendor, InterCall. Is anyone else using multiple seperate Conference ID's per month (about 100) with the same dial in numbers and integrating with Adobe?  It is looking like we would need to build a new audio profile for each new Operator assisted conference call because they contain unique conference ID's.

I am currently testing a number of devices and have noticed that the Connect Mobile app on iOS appears to run at a lower resolution (tested on iPad 4th gen) compared to the Android app (tested on Sony Xperia Z tablet).As a result, it appears that when the aspect ratio of the host using desktop sharing is optimised for the device (e.g. 4:3 for iPad, 16:9 for the Xperia Z) the rendering quality on the Sony device is much better.  On the iPad, the text appears less readable and less sharp.  I realise both devices have different resolutions but the difference is, to me at least, quite noticible.  Even the logon screens appear more sharp on Android.Any advice or information appreciated.Karl

I'm looking for an in-depth and thorough training resource for Connect. I've been using it for a year and have an understanding of the most basic levers and pulleys but the training I received from my reseller consisted of one 45-minute session. Lynda.com has an excellent 3 hour training program but it doesn't cover everything. Most of my training has come from trial and error, and that's not ideal. Is there a resource for more intermediate and/or advanced Connect education? I really want to get the most out of the service but don't know how.

I'm using  Connect Pro Meeting 7.5. As the host, I have uploaded a pdf into a share pod from my computer. I can see my shared pdf ok ...so why can't participants see it?

I need help for adobe connect. I'm an online student and recently my school switched from WIMBA to Adobe Connect. I had no problems with this set up until yesterday when it wouldn't allow me into the classroom. It just froze up. When I tried to download a new version it said an error had ocurred. I got on using my phone, which is Apple and my computer is Windows. I can view the archived classes but couldnt get on the live classroom until the session closed. I did uninstall java, so I'm not sure if this is why it finally worked. I tried calling adobe support and the tech gave me a line of baloney about my computer being corrupted and he would fix it if I subscribed to a plan which would cost me 250.00. Needless to say I hung up. If anyone has an idea why this ocurred and how to fix it, I would be most appreciative. Thank you.

I'm looking to do an exit survey on Adobe Connect 9.  I would like to have participants navigate to an page with a survey when they leave the webinar... is this possible?  The only solution I have found so far is to use the "browse to" function in the weblinks and navigate participants there before they leave. Another question is about recording breakout rooms.  Is this possible?Thanks.

The progress bar gets to about 98% and then never completes the connection in Safari 6.0.5.  Firefox 11 reports that the Flash plug-in is crashing.  I'm running on Mac OS X 10.8.4.  Flash is up-to-date.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm missing critical meetings.

What is the difference between " named training learners" and "training Concurrent learners?  If we have individuals that would like to access a class that we do not care to track, are they named training learners?   Any info is appreciated.  Thanks

All the timezone settings are correctly set to GMT +01:00 Europe/Berlin (Standard timezone, My Profile timezone, Events Timezone, Template timezone). But every event on the Event-Catalog-Page has timezone CEST. For example: Thursday, August 1, 2013 10:00:00 AM CEST - 10:45:00 AM CEST. But it should be: Donnerstag, 1. August 2013 10:00 Uhr MESZ - 10:45 Uhr MESZ. The translation on the Event-Detail-Page is correct. Any ideas?
