We would like to find a way to have trainees review a PowerPoint Training, complete a quiz and then have their manager sign off in Connect that they have completed the assignment. Is there some way to do this in Connect?

We have a powerpoint that contains alot of animation that is not running smoothly in Adobe. The movement gets ahead of the slide background. I have tried using Presenter to zip the file but that did not fix the issue. Any suggestions?

When meeting room owners start a meeting, it immediately starts recording.  In Compliance and Control, the option for mandatory recording is on.  How do we make it optional?  The only other option in Compliance and Control seems to be to turn recording off.  Thanks.

Hi, I set up a new user in an Adobe Connect install, added it to the Administrator group, and can login via the web, able to see / edit everything I need.  However, if I login, then paste this url into the browser:http://(client url)/api/xml?action=report-bulk-usersI get this response:<status code="no-access" subcode="denied"/>Same for other calls I've tried.  If I do something like "common-info" that returns just fine.  Are there permissions on the Adobe side that I'm missing?  I didn't find any answers searching, and the docs don't give much insight into this particular error.  I've used the API for other clients in the past without getting this error.  Is it license related, or permissions? -Jim

We are using Adobe Connect 9 Pro on premises.  We record meetings.  Is there any way to make the meeting available to public viewers without forcing a logon?  Thanks.

I have a bizzare situation where my adobe connect session only works after 5:00 pm. I have two other users who tried this and the session just hangs and then there is an error . But when both of us try after 5:00 it works fine. We are using IE 8.0. Also this will work fine in firefox at any time of the day. We have to roll this out to 2,000 users and need to get this working during the day.ThanksAurangzeb Nisar

I made 1 recording using the share document and that document was a powerpoint presentation.  I used the pen drawing tool to highlight stuff on the powerpoint and recorded the video.  Everything worked great.  My second lecture, however, the pen tool worked live but did not show up on the recording.  I am not sure what changed.  I have tried on a couple different computers.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, On iPad and android tablets using the connect app, sometimes the content of the "Share" pod (an image) shows as "Tap to View" when changing layouts.  It will sometimes load perfectly, other times not at all and just show the "Tap to view" message.We are still in testing, on a relatively high spec stable connection, so I can't imagine that it is bandwidth related at the user end.ThanksOwen

How do I get the participants to see all of the pods in my meeting room on an iPad? When I pull up the partcipant view I see some of the pods while others say to Tap to View. We want our participants to see all the pods at once.

How do I turn off the custom index on an Adobe Connect 9 recording so that no one sees it when they view a recording?  Can it be set to default to hide the index or turn it off?  Or is there a setting I can go in and set before I make the recording public and give the url out to people?

Hi, i have set the session timout within Administration, Session Settings to 20 minutes.  This is because of pressure on our licences and I do not want learners with online learning lessons open if they are inactive.  I had hoped after 20 minutes of no activity Connect would log them out and release the licence back to the pool.  However this setting doesn't seem to do anything.  I have left a lesson open on a PC for an hour and when i return it still allows me to continue with it.  Can anyone help?

youtube video was shared in a meeting but the audio is not being broadcast to the participants. I tested this on two computers and the participant computer audio is working fine.Why are the participants not able to hear the audio in the youtube video?Thanks.

I purchased my adobe connect subscription for $55 one month for induvidual/one host. The problem is that my account dont seem to have customization and rebrading frature enabled. How to i enable them or am i suppose to pay for it

How do I import my video conference into NVivo?

We almost always rename the the user with the webcam so the video sub-title becomes the room name. We frequently rename participants to reflect their locations and roles. Both features are now absent from our Adobe hosted product. I need them back!

Is there a "pod" already developed for Adobe Connect that allows meeting participants in a meeting to share an interactive portfolio of images within Connect? What we're looking for when I say "interactive" is for the functionality to allow the participant, host, or presenter to take control of that pod and show the images as thumbnails, as a slide show, or double-click on one or two to bring it/them up to full screen size. Ideally, it would also allow for rearranging of the order of the thumbnails and for rating of the images.If there is no such pod already (and I'm guessing there is not), how would one go about hiring a developer to create it? How difficult would it be? i.e. How much time would be involved and what might the cost be?Thanks,Amanda

We are trying to upload a SWF Captivate project into Adobe Connect that contains .flv video and mp3 audio. Audio comes over just fine, however video does not play. We have "hard coded" the .flv url into the Captivate project using the insert flv/f4v option in Captivate. (see pic below, where we insert URL).When we upload the SWF file generated from Captivate using Adobe Flash v9 (as suggested by BUG# 3548259, becasue we were getting error fp10SWFMsg) only the audio plays and not the videos.HELP!

Hi everyoneIntially i used have lot of problems on downloding the recorded videos  by making offline. But i came to know the zip method and i am very happy to use this method. i just want to know that when i download zip file, all the files like  .flv and .xml files will be downloaded. i get all these files separately instead of that is there any other way to merge the presentaion, video, attendees and chat  pods from the downloaded zip file. as i dont want to download the file by making offline as this results in low quality of the video. can you please let me know if there are any other ways to do like that.thanks in advance

I need to re-install Adobe X pro. I've logged into my account, found the confirmation of purchase and licence number, but there is no link to re-download the software. I can't find an email address to contact Adobe to find out what I need to do to get access to re-install - the 'contact us' just sends me round in circles.

We have a number of training curriculum that all employees need to retake each year. The content is Powerpoint with Presenter and a quiz as part of the content. When each trainee completes their training, the curriculum goes into a "Review" status for them. What is the easiest way to allow all users to retake this training and get a new training record? We don't want the old one removed. Do we need to create a new curriculum for the new year and add the same content? One of the big time sinks with this approach has been reenrolling everyone as we have thousands of trainees that need to take them.Suggestions for making this simple?
