CC shows syncing, but then the files aren't there. Help!
Gang,I'm working on a project that has me using the Creative Cloud files to store the changes I make. I know I'm not using all of the features, but with my own personal account on two machines and my employers site license on the other, I end up using the browser version of Creative Cloud to upload and download files on my work computer. When I download a book file (.indb), Creative Cloud and my browser seem to get confused as to what kind of file it is. Creative Cloud asks me and doesn't have an option for InDesign Book. When it downloads, it downloads as a .octet-stream file. I later go to Finder and change the extension to indb and life is good.Is this a bug or a feature?Warren BIngham
I have had problems syncing Creative Cloud for some days now. It tries to sync, but then comes up with "Creative Cloud Server Error" and turns syncing off. It was working okay originally.I have completely deleted all of my files from the Adobe Creative Cloud folder (manually by logging on to my account) and also all of the files in the Archive folder and tried starting again. Yes, I've checked all of the files names and all of the other usual things we are told to do, but am fast coming to the conclusion that it's not worth the bother. Creative Cloud syncing is not a feature that I am prepared to trust my files to. Perhaps in a few months, when they've smoothed out the bugs.Anyone else with similar problems? And anyone found a solution?3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac OS X 10.8.5 (12F37), 16GB RAM
I just installed the new Creative Cloud Desktop app and also Photoshop CC 2015. Download and Installation of PS worked, however the creative cloud app signals that it is not possible to synchronize the the cc files folder. Since everything worked up to now it must be a defect in the new app version, Does anybody have the same problem and know a solution??Best Stephan.PS: It seems almost "normal" that the cc app causes problems, I struggle with it since the beginning. Fortunately it worked rather stable the last half year but now the probelems reappear.....System: Windows 7 prof. (64-bit)
On one of my windows 7 machines I'm getting a new error when creative cloud tries to sync files. The only change on the machine has been the installation of office 365 with one drive. I can access the files in explorer in the directory creative cloud is pointed at. I've tried reloading location and even changing the location doesn't work. It just seems like the creative cloud app no longer wants to sync on this one machine. Is it possible that One Drive is somehow messing with it even though that is pointing to a different location?
logging into my files on ie on windows phone gives a whole lot of nothing. Just a blank page. one drive, dropbox, google drive all work fine.whilst I'm at it, uploading files to creative cloud today east coast Australia was slow and eventually failed.is it flaky everywhere or just in aus?
We have been using Creative Cloud in our team for 2 years now. We have 3 team members and we share design files on the Creative Cloud Files. I also use my CC account on my home computer. We have had several problems with file syncing in the past:For about 4-5 times suddenly 50-70% of the design files are moved to archive. It seems to happen when there is a syncing conflict with one of the computers. It's really scary to discover all those files have disappeared from our computers. And each time it's a struggle to restore all those files and to make sure none of them is missing...CC often also creates multiple folders like this:We really need a solution for this issue or we will have to move our files to DropBox.
I have no files uploaded to the cloud. This file can be deleted if I can find it - It does not seem to exist, though the server says it does.I have archive permanently deleted it - but the issue persists. If I can provide better details please advise what you need to help you help me.I am using a MacBook Air Mid 2013 current latest OSX. Any ideas please, with thanks in advance?
Upon further investigation I think that I know what happens in my case, Adobe Shape or Color CC libraries don't sync with the CC folder in the Mac though there are on the web portal, so basically all those files are inaccesible to my Adobe apps, any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers
Can you make Creative Cloud Files Private on a shared computer?
In latest version 2.1.0.108 of CC desktop, my Creative Cloud Files folder no longer syncs files to my CC Assets page. When I put files into this folder, they do not show sync symbol, nor do they display on CC Assets page. What should I do? This sync feature worked fine before the auto update.Peter
This happened right after the Creative Cloud update a few days ago (June 8th 2015? plus/minus a day or two) The desktop app displays the text "When you turn on file sync...." and underneath "to start saving files to creative cloud...." in the opening window as if it is off. none of the files or folders in windows explorer in the CC folder (with the red CC logo icon) have any of the green check icons indicating up to date or the ones indicating syncing. The main CC folder does have the shared folder look (the two person icon indicating it is shared). In preferences in the desktop app i go to turn syncing on and it says it is on already.tried restarting, moving the folder to a different location then back and clicking off in preferences for file syncing and then on again...nothing helps.
my desktop sync page is not working. Cannot view files on web or sync files it also does not show file storage

When I am syncing my files from Adobe Creative Cloud (close to 24.5 gb), I am unable to do so. Even though the status shows that the files have synced, I cannot find them on the local folder. The files are visible online but the experience is so bad that I dont want to use the online service. How do I resolve this issue of files not showing up on my machine?

I have an issue with Creative Cloud file sync. From time to time CC erases all my files and then syncing them all over again It used to happen before but only after CC update. Now it's almost every week! This is really annoying especially because it slows down internet connection.
I have a Creative Cloud for Teams account, and two Macs (OS X Yosemite). On one, no problem On the other, I can't sync of access my files.Clicking on the Creative Cloud in the toolbar and selecting "Files" gives me a message "Unable to Load Sync Location". The "Contact Customer Support" and "Reload Sync Location" buttons do nothing.I moved my older Creative Cloud folder (from when it did work). Now I have a new one, but it's empty. The CC app won't open it.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC app. Anything else I should mention?
unable to load sync locationI cannot see my files other than through the web browser
Why won't Creative Cloud Files Sync after I installed the latest update?
After updating the Creative Cloud Desktop app this morning to 2.1.0.108, my files will no longer sync. File syncing is turned on, but nothing works. Help! Here'a screenshot below:
I just downloaded the Creative Cloud update, and now none of my files are syncing. When I try to view the file information from the Creative Cloud menu, I just get a spinning progress wheel and never see the usage information of Cloud storage. Fonts are also no displaying. Anyone else having these problems?
I'm getting a repeated CC Core Sync crash about every 1.25 minutes. Restarting hasn't fixed the problem. Screen grab of the incessant error window attached. My OS is Mac OS X 10.10.3. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue?(FYI... I tried three times to contact chat for this problem. The first time failed. The second time I connected after 20 mins and then the 'customer service' person ended the chat without saying a word, the third time it told me that the 24/7 chat line was 'now closed'... nice work, Adobe.)
Ever since the update installed itself my files stopped syncing and I can't right-click and share files in Finder anymore!Any suggestions? Fixes?
