Gent, mi, ho riscontrato problemi con ADE 4.5.11. Nel tentativo di riuscire a leggere i libri della biblioteca con kobo ho ripristinato i dati di fabbrica di kobo e l'account più volte, così come ho autorizzato più volte l'account di Adobe digital editions.Mi è stato ora suggerito di utilizzare con kobo la versione 3.0. L’ho scaricata e ho tentato una nuova autorizzazione.Il risultato è che il sistema mi impedisce di dare autorizzazione perché "suppone" che io abbia collegato allo stesso ID troppi dispositivi (in realtà collego il pc allo stesso e unico kobo).Richiedo pertanto "activation count reset" in modo da poter utilizzre di nuovo lo stesso ID per il pc e il koboGrazie

I am trying to download ebooks but the only link that is downloading is the URLLINK.acsm?  I have adobe digital editions and thought that thedownload would be automatic? Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?Colech

Hi there!I am hoping that someone can help me recuperate books that I have purchased but that have "expired" from my library and have been wiped out from my computer. The PDFs are in my Finder (I am on mac) but they are blank. I've spent money on these academic publications which I still very much need! Thanks in advance for your help!

I bought an e-book and expected to get a pdf file and was quite disappointed to find out I had to first download Digital Editions to really download the book, just to find out that I can only read it through Digital Editions: only a few functions and not even working properly, nothing near a pdf file you can work with. Spent time highlighting text, which then completeley disappeared! Even this post gives you more opportunities for editing! And hopefully saves what you write better that Digital Editions!!! This product needs urgent improvements!

Buenas tardes, tengo un ebook Cervantes 3 desde hace varios años. Antes me permitía descargar directamente los libros desde la ebiblio de mi localidad pero desde hace algo más de una año me da el siguente error: Error procesando credenciales. He desenlazado la cuenta de Adobe y vuelto a enlazar pero el error persiste. Agradecería me dijeran cómo solucionarlo. Gracias 

How do I download Adobe Digital Editions so I can access the Maryland Digital eLibrary on my Nook ereader?

I am going crazy trying to export fixed layout epub from InDesign to ADE 4.5.11. ADE is not showing fonts correctly and probably because of that words are overlapping and spaces between words are sometimes missing. Fun patt is that Calibre works just fine on epub files and Edge browser shows xhtml files correctly. Also Kobo sideloading check shows the epub just fine. Epub validator does not give any errors. Based on all the trials I would say there is something seriously wrong in ADE but there would probably be more complaints out there if that was the case. Any tips? I am using windows 10 and the indesign 16 updated today. 

I am so frustrated. Trying to download a book and can not open it. I'm getting error "Error opening book This book has been returned".

I actually use the same and only pc. I uninstalled n times ADE because I can not read the books of the library on kobo and now the software Adobe digital editions no longer allows me to authorize my PC.The problem with kobo was as follows: after transferring the book from ADE to Kobo, the black page appeared to me and the message "your eReader is not allowed to open the book".The ID of kobo and ADE was the same, as long as I could authorize ADE, now I can no longer do that either.Thank you for your attention

In realtà uso lo stesso e unico pc. Ho disinstallato n volte ADE perchè non riesco a leggere i libri della biblioteca su kobo e ora il software Adobe digital editions non mi permette più di autorizzare il mio pc.Il problema con kobo era il seguente: dopo il trasferimento del libro da ADE a Kobo, mi appariva la pagina nera e il messaggio " il tuo eReader non è autorizzato ad aprire il libro".L'ID di kobo e di ADE era lo stesso, fintanto che riuscivo ad autorizzare ADE, ora non riesco più a fare neppure quello.Grazie per l'attenzione

Installation stops running while Extracting SymCCIS.DLL.How can I get an original copy of this DLL ??

On my new PC, Windows 10, I download Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, and start the installation. Right at the end of the installation, the setup window seizes to install with "Extract: SymCCIS.dll".Not possible to close window or complete the installation.What has happened and how to overcome and finalize a correct installation?

When I attempt to open the ePub file of a script I've downloaded, I receive this error message: "Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER" What do I do about this?

I have the Adobe Digital Editions application downloaded in order to read digital versions of scripts I've purchased, but I can't access the scripts. I'm trying to authorize my laptop, but I'm receiving a notification telling me that I can't use an Adobe ID that has already been used to authorize another device. My laptop is the only device for which I've ever used this Adobe ID, so I'm not sure why it's not working. My only guess is that I recently had an issue with my laptop for which the only solution was to wipe the entire hard drive, which deleted the Digital Editions app and (I'm assuming) also erased the authorization somehow. Can anyone help me sort this out?

I've downloaded digital editions for my iPad and am trying to read a book but the text is tiny! About 8pt.I've read the instructions but can't find the 'reading menu' to change it. I can find everything else!  I'm not digitally challenged and am used to ereaders as I have a kindle but I've spent hours now trying to see where the bloody 'reading menu' is. Its not at the bottom or top of the book and isn't in app settings.Please help!

Hallo zusammen,ich habe einige E-Books, die ich auch auf meinem Laptop gespeichert und in den Adobe Digital Editions hochgeladen habe. Außerdem habe ich die Adobe Digital Editions App auf meinem iPad. Beide Geräte sind autorisiert, sodass der Schreibschutz kein Problem sein dürfte. Es werden allerdings nur ein paar von meinen E-Books auf dem iPad synchronisiert, die anderen sind nur auf dem Laptop sichtbar. Woran könnte das liegen?

Halle zusammen, Ich kann mich mit meiner Adobe ID nicht an einem neuen Rechner anmelden.Es klappt nicht mit eingeben, es klappt nicht mit kopieren und einfügen, es klappt nichts und ich kannca 70 Bücher nicht mehr von meinem E-Book Reader auf den neuen Rechner laden.Auch mit einer neuen E-Mail-Adresse bekomme ich keine neue ID. Es nervt, wenn es nicht klappt.

Non riesco ad aprire un libro nel mio e-reader. Scarico su ADE, ne vedo 6 copie identiche (?) ma nel Kobo il libro non si apre e appare questo messaggio:Il tuo eReader non è autorizzato ad aprire questo libro... 

Dear Adobe CommunityI have bought ebooks on (ADE) and when I scroll up and down it makes a sound which can be very distracting when studying as I read textbooks to study with. does anyone know how to stop the sound coming when I arrow up and down. I have a macbook white 13' with maverick installed  and tried going over my keyboard shortcuts and phoned apple support and they said contact Adobe. I have tried opening preferecnes in this app and open with usual keyboard shortcuts in my usual pane.  But page and down does not make any noise but soemtimes I want to scroll down only a couple of lines. I do someone is havign the same problem as me do reply. Await a response.

I boght a book from kobo. Book being transfered to the device but i'm getting an error - unable to open the book. book is damaged and so on, could someone assist me with this isse.Thank you in advance

I am getting the following when trying to open books purchased through Heinnsman. Error getting License. License Servere Communications Problem E_ADEPT_DATABASEThey work on my laptop. I get this error message when I try to open them on my phone.I am signed in with my Adobe ID. I am extremely frustrated. PLEASE HELP

Please visit help.kobo.com for more information" I have re-authorized usign the instructions several times...removed all books and reloaded multiple times. Why won't it open my signed out library books?

Bonjour, J'avais téléchargé ADE 4.5 mais étant donné que je ne pouvais lire les livres empruntés à la biblitothèque, un employé de Kobo m'a conseillé de télécharger la version 3.0, ce que j'ai fait. Le problème est quand je veux autoriser ma liseuse, le message erreur suivant apparaît :S.V.P., me donner la solution. Merci.

Hi,I have just added Digital Editions to my Chromebook via the Google Play store and successfully downloaded two ebooks from my university library. However, I cannot for the life of me work out how on earth you turn the page?! A fairly essential function! I've tried pressing pretty much every key on the keyboard and am at a complete loss. My chromebook isn't a touchscreen so I cannot swipe as I do on my phone/kindle. Any tips - or is it a no go 😞L
