Download & Install

These 2 programs suddenly fail to load.  A message appears saying "Please reinstall or contact customer care". I have tried to reinstall but the process aborts after about one minute.  I am using a PC running Windows 11.  What has gone wrong? 

The App Manager does not let me specify any installation options for the apps. It installs them on C: on a windows system.This is a HUGE design error in the era of SSD's. The Apps are very large, space on SSD's is tight. If I just manually download an Adobe app, as I have many times, I can select the target directory for installation. Unless I can do this with Cloud apps, I'm not going to remain a customer. ...one response above suggests I may be able to get around this, but I don't know - perhaps someone else does. In an earlier post here, Jeff Wright says: "If you are having problems installing the applications from the Adobe Application Manager please try downloading and installing the trial. "Is this a solution?

I have been seeing this "Please connect to the Internet and retry" issue pop up multiple times in the last few weeks with CS6. I have seen it happen even on CS6 software ensured by Adobe customer support to be valid and good for install. Anyone know whats going on here?

I am having issues installing Photoshop CS5. I initially installed it to a remote drive (Drive F) rather than the C drive. Installation went fine. Somehow, within a few days, Drive F was changed to Drive G and the program would not run due to the path not matching up. I then was able to change Drive G back to Drive F. I removed Photoshop from Drive F.The problem now is that I am unable to install Photoshop to Drive C. When I begin the install, things go fine up to the "Install Options" screen. I selected the desired installation but the Location still reads F/New Folder and I am unable to change it to Drive C. Can anyone please help me on this. Adobe would offer me any help. I did install Photoshop to desktop (copied the files from Drive F before deleting that), but I am having issues where it does not always recognize .PSD files. Thanks for any help out there.     

Hi, i had the same question. but the way you describe it doesn't work. Creative Cloud doesn't accept when I change the Install location for Applications to the external SSD hard disk. why? and is there any other solution? my amcbook storage is full due to and I just bought a new external hard disk by LaCie.

I recently relocated to a new country and now that I want to buy CC again I find out that I can't add a new payment card since when adding the new card details the input field for the country will be disabled (and obviously my previous card doesn't work as I closed that bank account when I relocated so the only option I have if I want to buy CC is to add a new card).I've been browsing on Google for a while and it seems that the only solution is to close my account and open a new one... really? what kind of solution is this? I can't believe that a company such as Adobe hasn't implemented an easier way for it's clients to be able to access their products.

I just recently purchased after effects but the setup won't install. I click on the icon and a little blue wheel pops up beside my pointer but then goes away. && it doesn't even show up on my task manager when I double-click on it. I checked and my laptop has everything the program needs. . .

I am done with adobe products. I specifically told it not to install creative cloud when it installed, yet adobe did it anyways. Disabled it at boot and run illustrator once and Adobe resets those settings to make it boot everytime. It then runs 5-7 other applications eating up 18GB of my 64GB of memory. I am writing this post to say I am done with adobe products and their BS around how they install stuff you don't agree too, then reset your settings on the OS level to make thier stupid apps boot up after you have explicitly disabled them. Its my computer, if I don't want your extra software then I don't want it, if I don't want adobe crap to boot up when my machine boots up THEN I WANT IT THAT WAY! I will no longer use adobe products because of this. It is just as bad as Piracy! Hallo, Ich möchte eine externe Festplatze als Speicher für die Adobe Programme/Applikationen aus der CC verwenden, da sie auf meinem MacBook zu viel Speicher verbrauchen. Wenn ich jedoch im CC Menü den Installationspfad auf einen angelegten Ordner meiner externen Festplatte ändere, kommt die Meldung das sei nicht möglich . Woran kann es liegen und was wären mögliche Lösungsschritte oder Alternativen? Ich nutze ein MacBook Air 2020 und habe mir eine externe ssd Festplatte von LaCie zugelegt.vielen Dank! 

According to this page on Adobe's website, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/downloaded-older-app.html, I can download the update for Creative Master Suite CS5 to 5.5. However, that is not true. There is no way to do it. All it shows is your PRODUCTS, not UPDATE files. The version on that products page is 5.0 when I download it. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to upgrade CS5.0 to CS5.5? The update files have to be somewhere.Thank you.

Hi!, i just reinstalled OS X High Sierra on an old workstation and then i installed my CS6 web design suite. When i try to sctivate the product i get an error mesage and adobe page tell me: expired or illegal serial number. Can you please help me? Adobe customer service said that they did not know the specific reason and could not support refund. This plan was cancelled by their Adobe legitimate team.They can only tell me that this is "Fraudulent Account", and they don't know the specific reason, and refuse to answer me! And no refund（I was sad and left tears） "Fraudulent Account" What do you mean?How to avoid it? hi guys, I am working on my social media project called [ Link removed by Moderator ] I am facing an issue with the installation of adobe photoshop, showing the error "MS Setup Toolkit API Error, Bad Arg 3:AddSectionFiles to CopyList."  

I cant seem to update my Adobe Cloud. It keeps sayings error 505. I did everything I could that was suggested on the error 505 page. (when I post the link Adobe forums says its invalid HTML)I dont have Beyondtrust Powerbroker, I updated windows and restarted my computer and I am not trying to log in remotely. I dont have any fancy anti virus on my system just Windows Defender. I even went into Windows Defender allow  Creative Cloud App in Public and Private networks. Hi,I would like to install the 7-day trial version of Adobe InDesign using the Creative Cloud app. I am signed in to the app with my personal adobe account NOT a business or enterprise account, yet I have been unable to access the Manage Apps tab; I am only getting a message along the lines of 'You don't have permission. Contact your IT administrator.' - I don't HAVE an IT admin. Just me.Any idea how I can rectify this?
