Dreamweaver

Hey Guys, so here's the details HTML 5 Website,  I use Brackets for code - Dreamweaver CC 2019 19.2 for upload. I'm a newbie when it comes to all of this but I've been doing the same maintenance (edits) on this website for a year now with no problems. A couple weeks ago did my usual edits replaced a few pictures and and links on the homepage (index.html) and uploaded through dreamweaver and noticed the pictures didn't change on the homepage - and in my case it's literally a matter off replacing the picture but saving it the same name so therefore it has no choice but to change. Anyways 24 hours later I checked it and it had finally changed....? Fast forward to now... I upload to dreamweaver and nothing changes not text, pictures, code anything. It's like it's uploading it to no where???**I have several back ups of the site that I've uploaded to see if there was something wrong on the current code end (some from months ago and some from a year ago)** STILL NOTHING CHANGES**In Brack

I've used - and loved - Dreamweaver from long before it was taken over by Adobe... about which I will refrain myself from saying anything... and I upgraded to version 2019 but now I'm as irritated as heck.First off, it crashed on opening. Secondly when I did get it working, it takes AGES to load (I worry about all the stuff it's loading in the background). The improvements were thin on the ground, but what i noticed was that everything took longer to do (comparing it to the 2017 version) and I've had it totally freeze and CRASH numerous times when I'm in the middle of working on a simple html file.Few days ago, it froze, then crashed, and when I tried to re-open it, it basically reinstalled itself to all the defaults. It lost my organised workspace, menus, and worst of all, all my own snippets, and I had to search the internet to find how to recover them and reinstall them.Yesterday it decided to freeze again, and nothing would recover it. I had to go CNTL-ALT-DEL and end the program,

hello...On my home page ( https://www.burlingtoncountyna.org/ ), the Navigation Bar scrolls correctly up & down on any computer display...but on any cell phone, it will not scroll up & out of the way of the content below it (content which is very important).Is there a code snippet that can be added to accommodate this?thanx,dox

Long time Dreamweaver user and have been plagued with a long standing problem that I have just worked around for years by working in code view. I would like to utiltize some of the WYISWIG features, but I struggle with our site structure.We have a large site and have an app server and a web server. The pages of the site are XSL page and exist on one server. The JS, Images, LESS and CSS exist on our web server…  So locally, XSL is in Drive “S” and JS/Images/LESS/CSS are on drive “T”.  (our team works off a single shared development server that transforms the XSL... so we have a shared testdomain.com that we go to for our team.) My struggle is when setting up the site within Dreamweaver, we get errors because the static files are “outside the site root”. When we preview in our browser, www.domain.com loads the XSL pages and the image references are /js  /images and such respectively… but they are on separate local dev server/drives. I am running the latest version of Dreamweaver on a Mac that is running 10.14.5The extract panel does appear when I go to Window > Extract. However, the welcome screen appears briefly and then... nothing. Nada. I have tried re-starting Dreamweaver.I have tried signing out, shutting down Dreamweaver, restarting and logging in. No dice.I have tried restarting the entire system, restarting Dreamweaver. What is going on? How can I fix this? I don't want all the good work I put into the prototype in Photoshop to go to waste.Michael

I have this error: Dreamweaver 2017 does not connect to SFTP server and you see the "Failed to Read the contents of XML Resource: IDD_SSH_KEY_CHANGE_DIALOG" error. Older versions of Dreamweaver had an option to define how we wanted CSS to be formatted.I don't see such an option, anymore.Can we still customize that?JJ

Every time I open Dreamweaver, the application loads briefly and then immediately crashes with no error message or warning. I have looked through these discussions already and tried every solution suggested with no improvement. Whenever I select Preview in Browser, by pressing F12, using Dreamweaver’s server, it works sometimes and other times it does not. It seems to depend on the port number that is selected. I have tried to use a consistent port number by altering the json file in the configuration folder, per the instructions provided by Adobe, but this does not work. Does anyone know how to make Dreamweaver server work consistently, so that I do not get the following error: “You tried to access an external HTML page, which can not be opened on the device for preview. Hi. I've made my first P5 webpage but it slides around a lot. It's a big problem on the Chrome mobile browser because dragging down causes the page to refresh. I've tried researching ways to prevent it from sliding around and I've included all possible solutions in my css file, it helped horizontally, but nothing seems to prevent it from sliding vertically.I've pasted the relevant code below. Am I blind or has the Insert | HTML Comments menu item been removed/relocated? How do I do this now? I sometimes forget the comment syntax for the various code types and situations.

Question:  How do I get a regex wildcard to select only between the two nearest elements instead of going on to further similar elements?I have a VERY long list of names that need to have the last name separated from the rest by a tab character.  In order to accomplish this, I've inserted a placeholder character (#) just before the return of each line, and replaced all spaces in the names with a different placeholder character (@) for my regex to reference.  These names are all first, middle initial, then last, having a space on each side of the middle initial.  So, with my placeholder characters inserted, the list looks like this (short sample):Edward@C.@Sellner#James@J.@Megivern#J.@Philip@Newell#I need to replace the @ placeholder just before the last name with a tab.  When I try and do that, my regex is selecting everything between the # placeholder and the first @ placeholder, instead of stopping at the seconds @ placeholder just before the last name.
