Hi,I need to retrieve the product keys form the computers before wipe and upgrade them to Win 10. No one in my team seems to have any record of it. How can I retrieve them?
So has anyone figured out an easy way to block updates without modifying the install packages and reinstalling it on every machine? The only thing I can find is this: Disable auto-updates in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite 6 apps which still required you to modify a FILE on every machine! This is absurd and so frustrating. Is there a simple registry key I can push out??
HiWe are looking at setting the 3rd Part Patching on SCCM and are looking for any Adobe Catalogs that are available.I have found this page and have tried the Reader DC Continuous Track options but some of the URL's are not HTTPS and the Transition link has an expired cert SCCM-SCUP — Enterprise Administration Guide Is there an updated list of Catalog's anywhere?ThanksSimon
When I checked today on 5/15/2019, the Adobe Updates link is no longer hosting the former content. this used to be on www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html but now goes to downloads of the full apps with no updates at all.Adobe apps - download and installation help How are updates for Acrobat Pro installations supposed to be getting deployed now through Kaseya if we cannot download the MSP files to apply incremental patches to the Adobe Acrobat Pro installation on a PC?We have a distribution agreement for Flash so we can get the MSI files for those directly. It appears that all of Adobe's "enterprise" methods have nothing to do with working through an RMM, but rely upon mechanisms such as Active Directory and Group Policy. Which all that is fine in those contexts, but what if you have a diverse set of PCs that still need to be fully patched? They are not all added to Active Directory. Why did Adobe remove access to download the MSP files?
Hello, Is there any way to track user activity in Adobe Creative cloud via an API, Web Services request, etc. (Any type of activity info is a starting point, i.e. downloads, manual syncs, etc.) We're trying to programmatically and consistently identify who within our organization is using their Adobe products so we can redistribute when necessary. Having a starting point re. where to look would be really helpful. Thanks for any help you can give!
Greetings,Recently successfully federated. All is well except the SSO process provided by Adobe. The sign-in is taking in username (email address) and password, when it should ONLY be taking in the email address first to validate if the user should be redirected to an Identity Provider. In this case, I can enter my domain in the email address and hit enter or since my users are logging in with their company or school account, they need to click "Sign in with an Enterprise ID". Either way the result is that my users are redirected to my IDP environment for credentialing. Adobe should not be accepting a password, that is why I federated, I controll the credentialing and the access.
OK, I realized that we have an old account from a license transition a while back that Adobe refuses to deactivate. So, I ran through the migration on that account since it won't kill my stuff!Good news, the migration is pretty straightforward, even if the multiple, dire warnings are a bit concerning:Once that is complete, there is a wait cycle (about 15 minutes)Then you are greeted with a nearly identical setup from before:K-12 will have some limitations that we do not, like not being able to use AdobeID for access. That sounds like it will be a big pain. Now we are creating packages with the new installer and will test how well it actually upgrades an existing system.FYI, Disabling File Sync will evidently disable collaboration tools; so be prepared if you need that functionality, it could lead to storage issues if not managed.Fingers crossed as we dive off the deep end?!
In an enterprise that uses smart cards with digital certificates, it might be undesirable for users to create self-signed Digital IDs. How does one disable this feature and/or force the use of smart card based certificates?Thank you
Trying to obtain Reader DC updates (.msp) for deployment using SCCM. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ no longer takes me to updates & cannot locate on the site. I do have a current enterprise license agreement to download both Flash Player & Reader DC. Renewed it today just in case. I do not want the full product. This is the ability to download and deploy updates to existing Reader DC installs. We do not wish to have Reader DC auto-update due to band-width issues at 600+ sites. The update is deployed through SCCM so it downloads & installs after business hours. Thanks.
GreetingComputers have both Adobe Acrobat 9 & Adobe Reader (v18... or v19...). We are in the process of uninstalling all Acrobat 9's through a mass push out using the below command. We started with a test group using:MsiExec.exe /X{AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-7760-0E0F06755100} /QN /NoRestart...and they are seeing one of the following two errors even after setting the MSIExec to restart. There is a problem with adobe acrobat/reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (1:1)The Adobe Acrobat/Read that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again. Now we could run the repair on adobe to fix the issue but we have a few hundred to uninstall so repairing is our last option.Any thoughts as to the issue? It seems the message occurs when opening PDF's within IE or SAP. You can open a PDF from File Explorer w/o issue.I am leaning toward an Adobe add-in issue but not sure.Thank you,Rick
Several days, we are trying to download the installation packages for Adobe Reader DC from the Adobe FTP-site, but the directory remains blank, or it is unavailable a few folders deeper in the folder tree. This way, we cannot update our customers installation packages. Please solve this matter asap please!
Every 3 days when ya'll do an update, I end up spending 18 hours trying to get your products to work. Right now, none of my adobe products will update and Creative Cloud will not load fonts under assets>fonts. I am on a fully updated Windows 10 and I am still being given this error message when I try to update Photoshop:Exit Code: 190-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 0 warnings(s)FATAL: Sanity check for installation failed. Current OS version 6.2.9200 doesn't satisfy OS requirements.FATAL: Error occurred in install product workflow with error code 190 error message-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I already reinstalled Creative Cloud. If I am going to have to spend 18 f-ing hours every week trying to get your garbage products to work, please refund me my Adobe license and also the cost of this Photoshop class I am taking. Your products don't work.
I recently signed up for the 7 day trial version of Photoshop in order to complete a school assignment, and planned to cancel thereafter. Once I enrolled, I was able to use Photoshop successfully. However, under the "manage plans" section, it said I was not enrolled in any trial or service, and after the week of the trial expired, I was charged for the $30/month renewal. I can't access, use, or even see the plan I am being charged for, and there is no way to use the product or unenroll. When I log in, and look at "manage plans" as suggested on the support website, it states that I have no active enrollments -- which is false because I'm looking at the $30 charge on my credit card. Furthermore, any ways to contact support are disabled and it states that I need to contact my IT administrator (who both I don't think even exists and has nothing to do with this trial being purchased). All I want is to cancel my subscription, and get a refund for the month that I have been charged because I ca
Hi there,So, I've been roaming the forums, but not getting a clear answer on my question. Hope I can get some clarification with this post. So, we have am Adobe Teams Account. I guess it's 1 seat, allowing me to install it on 2 computers, since we only have 100Gb of Cloud space available(the thing is managed by the IT department). Is it possible to create 2 different accounts linked to this licence or we have to buy another seat to be able to have 2 emails associated with it?Best regards,João Hipólito
