During a recent inventory, I found I am unable to determine if Acrobat DC Pro or DC Standard is installed in my company. All I see is Adobe Acrobat DC and the Version number which is the same for Pro and Standard. For Example: Adobe Acrobat DC 15.006.30448 I got on a chat with Support and they were not helpful. Has anyone figured out how to remotely inventory Acrobat DC?
We've got 200 licences purchased previously so we can deploy all of the CC apps to computers and macs across our campus but does this cover mobile devices too? I noticed the apps are free but there is mention of signing in to CC with a user account. Would someone be able to answer and possibly suggest best practice in terms of CC apps for shared iPads? Thank you in advance,
I created a creative cloud package with admin rights as per installation instructions. The package was installed on a windows 10 pc. the desktop console shows the update link so it has been installed with admin rights. The computer is correctly registered in the cloud admin panel. But the package creates separate 2018 apps outside of the cc desktop console. Like any other windows 10 app. I am unable to show you this as this forum does not allow screen shots. The 2019 versions are not in all apps in the cc desktop console but in the trial apps section of the cc desktop console. So it is asking me to pay money to receive the 2019 versions even though I have a paid all apps subscription.I deleted the 2018 apps 3 times and created new packages 3 times now and the same thing keeps on happening.Given that adobe offers no support and their installation videos and documentation do not reflect what actually happens, can someone please help me on how to install this product
Having an issue where the Acrobat DC 2019 application completely disappears each day after starting up in the morning. I'm running a Late 2015 Retina 5K iMac with OS High Sierra 10.13.6.Reinstalling Acrobat DC works until the iMac is shut down and restarted. I've tried running the update patch to version 19.008.20080, but this did not solve the issue.I'm on a corporate enterprise account for Adobe CC, and other users are experiencing the same issue with Acrobat 2019.Is there a way to re-install Acrobat 2018?
I allowed my Creative Cloud Adobe products to update this morning at work, and I am now unable to open any of my Adobe software as it fails to verify subscription status. We have tested verification on both the work network, as well as on a hotspot network, which appears to confirm that the issue is not on our end.Upon opening any adobe products I now receive this popup:When I try again, I receive this:My hopes are that this is due to a maintenance event, but that says that connections may be slow and does not mention activation issues.I would like to find that this problem fixes itself soon, but if you have information that could help I'd appreciate it.Thank you.
Moderator Edit: Personal information removed
there are some instructions&links in the email, but seems no one is for Acrobat. how can I install it in a new PC?[Personal info removed by Mod. Please don't include your phone or email in these post, for your own protection.]Thank you.
Hello, I am trying to update your Creative Cloud Products (Photoshop/Bridge/Lightroom/etc) to the 2019 version. At first, I tried the nice easy update all option through the App (Infinity symbol at the top), but all this did after updating was initiated a bunch of 7 day trials. So I downloaded a new package following the old way (creating a creative cloud packager through the tools menu, this was before I realized that this was not the right way...), uninstalled the trialed 2019, and installed the new package, only to get 2018. Then I tried making a new (2nd attempt) package, but that one ultimately failed saying the .pkg could not be verified, so I went through the Security settings and told it to launch it anyway, only for it to ultimately fail. I have repeated this process a couple of times using different options, and am getting the same results. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. I am an education account, running High Sierra. I believe o

already have a ticket open with Adobe but wanted to see in any one else was having this issue while I am waiting for Teir 2 to call me back.. note ** first level support seems really clueless to enterprise operations Appears I made my OSX packages with the wrong serial number and they now have an expiration date of November 30th.. no big deal I Identify my serial number which has a 2020 expiration date and create a license package. Here is were I have a problem. I have applied the package, when I run the adobe expiration tool it still reports the same expiration date.. I no longer get the pop up warning in CC applications about the pending expiration, but I am not assuming that means they are good to go. any thoughts/ideas? thanks in advance
I can't get the XML from the old AdobeUpdater.Overrides files to import into the new web-based GUI packaging tool. Ha

HiI am looking to upgrade Adobe Reader from version 17.011.30096 to 17.011.30105 using group policy. We are using the base version: Acrobat 2017 Release (Classic Track base release) — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products) And patching it with the 17.011.30105 update:17.011.30105 Planned update, October 02, 2018 — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products Once the updates are packages together, we deploy using a GPOFileSource location. This process has worked in the past but now displays the dialogue below when installed.Once 'Open with protected mode disabled' is selected, the error below is presented.I have been successful in manually installing the updates without using group policy. As far as I can tell permissions are identical to previous deployments. We have already tried disabling McAfee buffer overflow on my machine but this hasn't helped. Can anyone help with this please. Many thanksChris
HelloWe have recently joined program for adobe team. It was working fine when we signed up, but then Adobe moved us to a new team membership and that's when all the issues started. We currently have 8 licences that are all assigned to 8 team members. Unfortunately one of the members is not showing on the adobe team website and that person can not sign in either. Currently is on the 30 day trial period. When I try to add another person, i get a message that person is already added, but we can not see the contact, nor re-assign or send invitation. We have contacted Adobe support, but so far they were not able to help us, so I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience. If so, please can you share info on how you fixed it??? In the meantime we are waiting for Adobe support to call us back and that may takes days. We would like to fix this asap. It's been now 2 days and Adobe hasn't fixed it yet.Thank youViera S
I'm Trying to find a way to uninstall this software unattented showing progress bar only or silently without prompting users; this will be ran through SCCM 2012 application model. The uninstall string for add/remove program uses PDAPP.EXE (Application manager)C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe --appletID="DWA_UI" --appletVersion="2.0" --mode="Uninstall" --mediaSignature="{0327A4BF-62BF-48BB-8928-B971B749E9E1}" But this will prompt the user to choose which component to remove, I want to be able to automate it...Much appreciated.
Hello everyone,I have a problem with the "Tools Pane", when we push a new version, the Tools Pane is newly enabled... The customer must go to Preferences/Documents/Remember current state of Tools Pane and push shift-f4.Then I push a new version, and again the same must be done.... Annoying-I had a solution that I found on the web... Modify the registry with the following parameter :[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.DC\shell\Open\command]"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /A "toolbar=0&navpanes=0" "%1"[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.DC\shell\Read\command]"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /A "toolbar=0&navpanes=0" "%1"But did not work anymore... Tools Pane is back....The only working way was to delete viewer.aapp....I use "Acrobat Customization Wizard DC" to set my Reader DC installation. Is there a way to use this Customization Wizard to hide this Tools Pane by default???????And When NOT can you please
So I wasted about 3 hours the other day of my time and one of our company tech's time trying to uninstall Acrobat DC. After logging into my computer and logging into Adobe Creative Cloud (ACC) a message appeared that I had two updates to perform. I clicked "Update All." The next thing I knew my beloved Acrobat X was replaced with Acrobat DC. It takes approximately 103 keystrokes for me to log into ACC, and I have no desire to log into it just to use Acrobat DC. Uninstalling it on this machine and reinstalling Acrobat X was a pain. I only use Adobe Illustrator and have no desire or need for the other programs on ACC. I really have three questions, the first one is rhetorical, yet an important one for Adobe management, and I am fairly certain that the answer is "Greed." The second question is more poignant. The third is one I doubt will ever seriously be considered, but is a reality that your customers deal with.1) Why does Adobe "Upd
Is there a notification service for when new releases are released, planned or otherwise? Like the Adobe Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) Blog that you can subscribe to? We deployed the latest planned version of Reader and Acrobat, 19.008.20071. But I had no idea that 20074 and 20080 have come out since.
We are using a stand alone version of Adobe DC Pro (15.006.30033.2205) (no other Adobe products). Windows 7 32-bit environment. I have used the Adobe customization tool to create a custom install package. I now need to update this package with the latest patch from Adobe to correct a recent security patch.Ideally I'd like to make a new customized installer package as this allows us to disable the Adobe Sign-In feature, which our agency will never use.I am trying to use: msiexec /i acropro.msi PATCH="Acrobat2015Upd1500630280.msp" TRANSFORMS="AcroPro.mst" The .mst file was created by the customization tool. However, when I run this command, I get the error:"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package."I have attempted uninstall and reboot and cleaning the registry of previous installation of
I have been attempting to install Creative Cloud on a MacBook in our workplace for a few days. It is running High Sierra. We created the install package through the Creative Cloud Packager, and tried several combinations of apps (including a minimal Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Dreamweaver build to get the bare essentials for the laptop's owner). The installer fails partway through but does not give an error code or seem to produce a log.I have gone through support chat for this but the results were still the same.Other details:- This is under a device license- This MacBook previously had Creative Cloud 2017 installed but we were having trouble upgrading (would go straight to 2019, which is not what we want right now)
