It would be great if a nested sequence could be rendered and replaced

The New AI Object Mask tool in Premiere Beta should have an option to refine the edge.  The edges appear to jagged and harsh, even when attempting to use the feather or expansion tools to adjust the edge.  Refine edge would allow support for finer pixels to be included in the mask, thereby creating smoother edges, similar to Photoshop's Select and Mask.  After Effects' Refine Edge Feather Rotobrush tool is more detailed but increases render time.  Maybe a solution similar to Photoshop's Select and Mask Refine Hair feature would be a nice addition to achieve a more detailed edge when using Object Mask.  Thank you

In MacOS, if I launch Premiere and, for whatever reason, my work drive is not mounted, it will wipe all of the “Recent” list for good. Even quitting Premiere, mounting the drive, and opening it back up does not restore the “Recent” list.It would be nice if this list could be saved attached to the volume label so it can be re-constituted whenever the volume is available again.

When reviewing RAW or LOG footage in the Source Monitor, it would be extremely helpful to have the option to apply a temporary LUT or colour space transform (e.g. Rec.709 conversion) for preview purposes only.Currently, LOG footage appears flat and desaturated while browsing clips, making it more difficult to accurately judge exposure, white balance, skin tones, and the overall quality of a shot during the selection process. This preview transform would affect only the Source Monitor and would not alter the clip, metadata, or timeline in any way. It would simply provide a more accurate representation of how the footage will look after colour management or a basic conversion LUT is applied. For editors who spend hours reviewing and selecting footage before building an edit, this would significantly improve speed, confidence, and shot selection, particularly when working with LOG formats from cameras such as Sony S-Log3, Canon C-Log, Panasonic V-Log, DJI D-Log, and others.

A Version of Adobe Premiere Pro for iPad.This app will give users the experience like they’re editing on Premiere Pro on PC and Mac. The subscription should be a little cheaper. reason for this request is that those who can’t afford a PC or Mac but can afford an iPad can use this or for those who can’t afford to pay the subscription for Premiere Pro

This is less a feature than what I perceive to be a bug fix, or at the very least a potential toggle in settings. In short, many editors such as myself frequently match  media from timeline to the Project Panel, using the “reveal in project” shortcut or menu item. Currently if I had a previous search query in the Project Panel and had not cleared it, Premiere will jump to Project Panel window but won’t ovveride that previous search query, effectively nullifying the desired operation: getting to that clip in the project panel, so as to, “make sequence from clip” for example. This could easily be remedied without replacement by including a toggle in settings such as “Reveal in project overrides existing search” or something along those lines. There should be no friction between a confirmed action from keystroke or menu and its result — as it stands searches are given pride of place when there is no reason for them not to be de-prioritized when inputting a “reveal in project” command.  So,

Hello Adobe team and community,I'm a professional film editor working primarily on narrative feature films and episodic drama. I rely on Premiere Pro as my primary NLE and use Productions extensively for multi-episode collaboration. However, there is a critical workflow gap in Premiere Pro for scripted narrative editing that I'd like to formally request as a feature. The Gap Between Premiere's Current Transcription and What Scripted Drama Editors NeedPremiere Pro's built-in transcription and Text-Based Editing are genuinely impressive features — especially for documentary, interview, and unscripted content. They allow editors to search spoken words across media, delete transcript text to drive timeline edits, and work efficiently with unscripted material. But for scripted narrative film and television, there is a fundamental workflow difference that Premiere's current transcription cannot address. The Core Workflow I'm Requesting: Script-Driven Take NavigationIn scripted drama editing, th

While working with archive, sometimes you need to use high resolution images, so as to be able to zoom it, move it, rotate it, and add some effects. Premiere seems to deal with this uneasily.

Porque tem que vim no formato quadro limitador.ENWhen moving two or more text layers, there should be an option to move them all at once. Please improve the text editing workflow. Currently, you have to select the text layer and then double click the "As" icon to enable text editing. A simple double click directly on the text layer should activate the text editor. When creating captions and converting them to graphics, why are they converted using anchor points instead of a bounding box? They should be converted with a bounding box by default.

Premiere Pro 2025 significantly lags behind other software, not even mentioning AI capabilities. To balance the scales, I believe Adobe should seriously consider adding truly useful and modern tools to Premiere Pro in the nearest future. The picturesque features shown at MAX 2025 looked impressive, but they were nothing more than prototypes and proof-of-concept demos. And the following tools and improvements are needed now. Some can even be added in the nearest weeks or months.  1. Fast and easy-to-use AI masking. I tested the beta version and it was genuinely good, but the way it is applied leaves much to be desired. There should be no need to create an empty tracking mask data and then apply it to effects. That workflow is outdated. Any effect — native or third-party — should have a dedicated mask tracking button.2. Proper native tracking. Premiere Pro is extremely weak in terms of tracking. Every modern video editing software has a fast, native tracking engine. Tracking in

Hello Adobe Premiere Pro Team,I would love to request a feature that allows users to move selected clips directly between video tracks (for example, from V1 to V2 or V2 to V3) using customizable keyboard shortcuts.Currently, moving clips between tracks requires dragging them with the mouse, which slows down editing—especially on large timelines and during fast-paced editing workflows such as wedding films, documentaries, and multicam projects. It would be incredibly helpful to have commands such as:Move Clip Up One Video Track Move Clip Down One Video Track Move Clip Up One Audio Track Move Clip Down One Audio TrackThese commands should be fully customizable in the Keyboard Shortcuts panel, allowing editors to assign shortcuts like Alt + Up Arrow and Alt + Down Arrow. This feature would significantly improve editing speed, reduce mouse usage, and bring Premiere Pro closer to the workflow efficiency offered by many other professional editing applications.Thank you for considering this req

Add .FLAC audio codec support.

Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Team,First of all, thank you for continuously improving Premiere Pro. I have been exploring Premiere Pro 2026 after many years of editing in Final Cut Pro, and I truly appreciate the powerful ecosystem, especially the integration with After Effects and Adobe applications. However, as a long-time Final Cut Pro editor, I have encountered a few workflow differences that significantly slow down the editing process. I would like to respectfully suggest a few optional features that could make Premiere Pro even more accessible for editors transitioning from Final Cut Pro. 1. Browser Skimmer (Highest Priority)This is the feature I miss the most.Although Hover Scrub is useful, it is fundamentally different from Final Cut Pro's Browser Skimmer. With Browser Skimmer, simply moving the mouse over a clip immediately previews the video frame-by-frame without clicking or dragging. This allows editors to review hundreds of clips extremely quickly before opening anything in the So

I would like to batch export multiple AAFs from multiple sequences. Can't find a way to make this happen. Need to export from every sequence individually and wait for the export to be done. Then the next one... When exporting 20+ AAFs for soundpost this takes me (or the intern) like half a day. @ADOBE Please make batch export AAF directly fom the Project Panel available: Select the sequences>Export AAF>global settings for all>export through the night Shouldn't be too big of a thing...

Allow users to copy and paste edit points (cuts) from one track to another, such as an adjustment layer or any clip on a different track. This would make it much faster to synchronize cuts across multiple layers without manually recreating them.

DJI Osmo 4 produces a .LRF file along with the main video. This is a low resource file, lower quality and resolution, ideal for use as a proxy. The only change is the extension. To use as a proxy, currently I have to rename to *.LRF.mp4 a silly step plus a possible chance of overwriting the fullres footage. If the LRF file was recognised then using proxy footage would be so much easier. They are effectively mp4 containers with just a different extension.

Im unsure if this is more of a bug report or feature request. For years I have been using in and out points within my audio files to drag specific clips onto the timeline. This workflow is no longer a viable option as it seems that I can only manipulate the in and out point for 1 instance of an audio clip on my timeline?  I apologize if that doesn’t make much sense - let me try to explain:Typically I will shorten or lengthen my audio track/song manually by first marking an in and out point for the “intro” section of the audio track/song then using the audio “drag audio only” tool to put that specific section on my timeline. Then I’ll go back to my audio clip in the source monitor (while not having the clip I just put on the timeline actively selected) and mark another in and out for the next section of the audio track/song. Then once again I will use the “drag audio only” tool to place that next section on the timeline. And then repeat until done. I’ve not been able to mark multiple in

When using Sequence > Close Gap, Premiere correctly ripples all clips to remove the gap, but the Current Time Indicator (playhead) remains at its previous timeline position. In many editing workflows, especially when assembling sequences by repeatedly pasting blocks of clips, the next action is to continue editing immediately after the newly positioned last clip.It would significantly improve workflow if, after executing Close Gap, Premiere automatically moved the playhead to the Out point of the last affected clip.

Feature Request: Batch Merge Clips by Matching TimecodeHello Adobe Premiere Pro Team,I would like to request a feature that would greatly improve workflows for productions that use dual-system sound.Currently, Merge Clips requires users to manually select each video clip and its corresponding audio clip one pair at a time. This becomes extremely time-consuming when working with hundreds of video and WAV files.Requested feature:- Automatically match video and audio clips by identical timecode.- Batch create Merge Clips (or synchronized clips) for all matching pairs in a project with a single command.- Optionally display a report for unmatched clips. This workflow already exists in other professional NLEs and is especially valuable for film, television, and documentary productions.Adding this feature would save editors a significant amount of time and make Premiere Pro a much stronger choice for large-scale post-production workflows.Thank you for considering this request.

Premiere Pro users sometimes want to open their project in an earlier version. Here’s the quickest way to open your projects in an earlier version. Only 4 steps to revert the PP version.   This assumes you have 7-Zip installed. It’s free and awesome and why would anyone not have it! 🙂   Also, that you have a COPY of your project that you will be converting.   ++++ Make a Copy of your project with a New Name in the same folder as the original ++++        1) Right-Click the COPY of the project and from the 7-Zip menu select “Open Archive”      2) In 7-Zip there is one file same name as the project – Right-Click the file and select EDIT*      3) On the fourth line change the Version = “??” Change the number portion to “1” Save and Close      4) 7-Zip will ask you if you want to update that file in the archive, Select <OK>   That’s it! When you open the project Premiere Pro will say it i

Most poly WAVs include metadata about track information like kind of mic used, names of characters, etc. E.g. TX, BOOM, MS. This data is unavailable in the metadata display in PP. Would be great to add this to the default metadata options.

Multichannel sound is hard to navigate. Fortunately, Sound Mixers label tracks with actor name/microphone information. Unfortunately, Premiere hides this data behind a wall of dropdown menus:Simply, we need this simple metadata in the timeline. This is a basic necessity for professional editing software which I am really hoping Adobe will be able to implement soon! When we finally have these labels in our timeline, it is going to save us so so much time and headache. For a visual reference, DaVinci Resolve does this perfectly: Thank you for your time!
