Hi, I would like to request adding Adobe Podcast to Premiere, making it easier to fix audio. Right now, editors have to export the audio, open Adobe Podcast, upload it, fix it, save it, and import it back into a new file. This makes the process longer and uncomfortable. Having it as a plugin directly in Premiere would make it much simpler. We are already working with many tools, why not make this easier? I hope you consider this, as it is very important. Thank you.
Workflow for correcting AI transcripts using text windowCan anyone suggest an efficient workflow for correcting the AI transcripts in Premiere Pro. I've found that correcting the transcript by having to click into the text window is cumbersome when there's lots of correcting to be done. Ideally I'd like to be able to play the source clip while having all of the text editable so that I can edit it on the fly. I'm a moderately adequate typist, and it took me all day yesterday to correct one hour of interviews (filmed in a noisy conference room)I don't think I have the best work flow for correcting text, as I find myself having to stop playback, enter the text window, correct text, then step out again to hear the text again if there's lots of typing to do, and then go back in again to clean it up. This is fine for the occasional text correction, but very cumbersome when there's lots of correcting to do In the past, on Final Cut Pro, I was able to type text into a text wind
I can’t stand the inconsistent behavior of keyboard shortcuts in Premiere--so many random things steal focus from the timeline panel. For example, I drag an effect onto a clip ON the timeline, the clip still has focus, but for no good reason the *program panel* is now the active panel, meaning the so-called “dedicated“ keystrokes like zoom in and out on my keyboard and my tourbox no longer zoom in or out the timeline. So I have to hit another key F1 or click my mouse into the timeline just to get the function back. I can’t even build macros to accomplish what I want for these--if the timeline has focus, then hitting F1 will cycle to another open sequence--again, doing what I don't’ want it to do. This is just one of so many examples of stolen focus ruining my worklow and keyboard shortcuts. It literally feels like Premiere anticipates my every desire and then does exactly what I don’t want at every turn.
Automatically, set the default dictionary to the language chosen for transcribing. Currently, “English (Caribbean)” is the default regardless of the language you choose for transcribing. So, if I choose UK English to transcribe a clip, the dictionary should change to the same automatically.
Premiere Vers 25.2.3MacOS Sonoma, M1 Max, 64GB RAM Lots of people complaining about the new Dynamic Audio Waveform feature. I find it annoying and have it turned off like many of you. Problem now is, when I right-click a clip to adjust the overall audio gain of a clip in the timeline, the waveform does not change to reflect the gain change. So for instance, if you have a recording that was recorded very low and you adjust the gain +15dB to a normal level, the waveform in the timeline is still minimized. This is not helpful at all. If you turn Dynamic Audio Waveforms back on, you can see the gain adjustment, but now you have all the annoyances of having it turned on, which makes things like editing audio clips super frustrating for a number of reasons. Please set this back to the way it was before the new feature was added. Thank you.
Bring the brand new Quick Apply feature you just added to After Effects over to Premiere. This would help speed up searching for and applying Effects to clips. FX Console is an amazing predecessor that I wish would have been for both AE and PP but now is the right opportunity to give us the same feature in both Apps.
As a social media video editor, I sometimes edit many short videos per day.Having the scroll wheel adjust the size and location of the program monitor has become an enormous hassle. Problem:Whether using a Magic Mouse or a regular mouse with a scroll wheel, I sometimes accidentally scroll when moving the cursor across the program monitor, even to get to another section in Premiere Pro. I accidentally subtly scaled the video preview in the program monitor without noticing. This caused me to re-render the video because elements were not placed in the correct locations. It's just as frustrating when I do notice when I do it. I'm constantly resetting the zoom level dropdown to "Fit." Please revert this change. It's become a massive headache.
Hello all, wouldn't it be great to have a batch rename tool in premiere pro (and after effets) ? It should not be to hard to code and implement and would be of great use for a tons of people. Please upvote if you read this and think it might be useful ! Best, Axelito Mustardito
I would like to see a proper LUT import button in premiere. I’m tired of finding the folder path to drop in my LUTS. It feels like 2005 when I have to find a long folder path to do something. Can we just have a button in premiere where I can import them quicker? Seems like a doable feature. If settings sync returns, can we sync LUTs in the cloud?
Improve warp stabilizer to at least be on par with davinci resolve, it’s so much better in resolve
It is my understanding that we used to be able to sync our preferences in premiere pro to the cloud. I’m not sure why this feature was removed. I reformat my work computers once a year and re-setting all the preferences in premiere is annoying. I keep a file around for keyboard shortcuts, but as far as I can tell there's no settings file for preferences. Even free apps have the ability to sync preferences - its an industry standard now and a basic necessity. Wouldn't you agree? Lets modernize how this works so we don't have to keep settings files around like its 2005How much cloud space would it take per person to sync our preferences? 5 KB? Is it alright if we take up 5KB to sync some settings?
Can we please get a default option on sorting media? Currently the default sort is by framerate in my project window and there is not way to change that. I'm so tired of having to change it manually for every single project. It seems like something that would be really simple to implement. And the default sort set in bin view is user order. Both of these default sorting options dont help my workflow and are just annoying to change all the time.
Most poly WAVs include metadata about track information like kind of mic used, names of characters, etc. E.g. TX, BOOM, MS. This data is unavailable in the metadata display in PP. Would be great to add this to the default metadata options.
When you track motion inside Premiere Pro, keyframes are created, and although the tracking properties are all the same across the software -position, rotation and scale - they cannot be copied and applied anywhere else.I think it's time to make Premiere Pro be able to use that tracking data for sticking objects to the moving ones on your footage now that every other video editing software has this feature. Right now the only way to do that in Premiere Pro is a third-party plugin called "Auto motion tracking for objects" which costs 25 bucks and I cannot understand why I have to pay for another software to have this feature while I pay for Adobe license MONTHLY and do not have this feature by default. Besides the above mentioned third-party plugin uses - guess what - a command parser that intercepts the position-scale-rotation data in Premiere Pro and applies it to Premiere Pro's own transform effect .So it basically uses Premiere Pro to make Premiere Pro use Premiere Pro's
Hi, I’d like to request a feature of adding instruments of visual indication to two sections of Premiere Pro.The Freefrom view. You can toss the previews around, form piles from them, you can even change their labels (though a small colored square in the title is not so good as, for instance, a colored stroke, like this:… but you cannot visually mark the previews and their piles by any other means. I suggest a user should be able to draw lines and place predefined forms in that window, like in Canva or other services that offer a storyboard functionality:Plus the final result should be able to be saved and exported separately from the project, as a png\jpg file. The same drawing functionality should be added to the markers on the timeline. When you place a marker you can only entitle it and change its color. What if a user could draw and place text with it too? Here’s how it’s done in Davinci Resolve and it’s a masterpiece of a feature:This way you can mark the parts of the video you n
This is an embarrassing omission that has persisted for far too long. Every major image and video editing application on the planet - including Photoshop, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and virtually every other tool in existence - provides a simple chain-link icon to constrain proportions when resizing a canvas or frame. Premiere Pro does not. Not in Sequence Settings. The result is that any editor who needs to change their sequence dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio must stop their workflow, open a calculator, do manual arithmetic, and then type two separate values. In 2026. While paying a monthly subscription for software that Adobe markets as professional. This is not a complex feature request. It is a checkbox. A chain icon. A single constraint toggle that ties the width and height fields together so that changing one automatically updates the other. The math is trivial. The UI pattern is decades old and universally understood. Heck, you even have it when expo
Currently, Premiere Pro adds audio tracks to a sequence whenever a file with more audio tracks than the sequence contains is opened in the Source Monitor. So, say I have a sequence with four audio tracks. If I open a clip in the Source Monitor that has 8, four more tracks are automatically added to the Sequence. This is behavior is fine for the auto-generation of NEW sequences, but frustrating in that it modifies an existing sequence with no user input whatsoever. The functionality for adding tracks, as well as source patching and track targeting, works fine, and this behavior is more of a bug than a feature.
Hello. I'd like to see a master key to assign effects OR a way to map effects and presets to the keyboard using the Keyboard Shortcut tool. I've submitted this request before having come from Final Cut Pro and it was a huuuuuge time saver for me in the editing process as I used this feature on FCP multiple multiple times on every single edit I did, every day, and I can't imagine others would not have the same reason for using it as me and I likely very frustrated at how long it takes to apply the Warp Stabiliser effect, for example, to a clip or a series of clips. This is a very consistent task that I do in every edit and many many times in each edit usually. I'm sure I'm not the only person who is constantly adding warp stabiliser to shots by dragging the thing onto every clip and then setting the smoothness percentage. I can't even manage to just select every clip I want to throw the stabiliser on to and then copy paste a version of the effect that I've set the smoothness percentage
being able to transcribe a clip in greek will save us from hours of editing the silences out
when Greek language will be supported in "speech to text" for captions in Premiere Pro?thank youManos
So I use premiere desktop and mobile all the time and have some good feedback for the mobile app which I love. I’m wondering where best to give this feedback besides here. We could really use volume keyframes for audio. I love that keyframes were added recently but we should be able to keyframe audio volume too. I have about 20 other ideas to enhance the app too. It’s a fantastic app and I use it daily. Some features and updates would really enhance the user experience. if this is the best place for that feedback let me know and I can upload a little list I have made for features and improvements I think would make this app unstoppable, un-karate-choppable! thanks
I only ever use Remove Attributes to remove one specific effect I've applied to a bunch of clips. I hate that I have to untick everything except fot the one effect each time I use this. But I imagine there are some people that want to remove everything each time.So there should be a toggle or checkbox that selects or deselects everything. And it should remember the last set up you had like Lightroom does when copying effects over. For eg, if last time I used Remove Attributes, I had only the Motion and Opacity checkboxes selected, then next time I open up that box, those two should be the only ones selected. Then if in the future I need to remove everything for eg, at least there'll be a button to quickly select all the attributes.
I propose to implement an AI Slow Motion feature that allows users to create high-quality slow-motion videos directly within the timeline, eliminating the need for third-party tools like TOPAZ Video AI. This integration would utilize advanced frame interpolation algorithms to generate smooth, professional-grade slow-motion effects seamlessly.Justification:Enhanced Workflow Efficiency: Users can produce slow-motion content without exporting to external applications, saving significant time and effort.Competitive Edge: This feature is already available in industry-leading tools like Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and its inclusion ensures competitiveness in the market.Improved User Experience: Offering a one-stop solution for video editing will increase user satisfaction and retention, reducing reliance on third-party software.
This is a feature request, not a request for workarounds! 1. PROBLEMWhen multiple video clips are selected, we can use the Properties panel to transform multiple clips at once - a huge timesaver when creating 1x1, 4x5, 9x16 from 16x9 material. See attached below. But when multiple text clips are selected, the transform options are hidden (as of Premiere 26). See attached screenshots below. 2. REQUESTWhen multiple text clips are selected, don’t hide transform controls and instead, allow us to move multiple text clips by the numbers, simultaneously. Cheers, Ben Transform controls display when one text clip is selected.Transform controls hidden when multiple text clips selected.Transform controls remain active and editable with multiple Video layers selected, allowing us to move multiple video layers simultaneously.
Ok I've had enough! Please add a good quality graph editor into Premiere Pro! Something like Flow for After Effects, or just the base one from After Effects is good enough. Just anything that is not a tiny graph thing that I can't make bigger or even lock any axis...Especially make it possible to copy and paste keyframe easing values over to other keyframes as well. It's a horrible experience to adjust any keyframes while it works well over in After Effects.
