Subject: Adobe Needs to Address Burn-In Risk and Prioritize User ConcernsI’ve been using Adobe products for years, and while I can appreciate the innovation and range of features the suite offers, I can’t help but feel that many recent decisions are being driven purely by profit — with very little actual care for the user experience.Let’s be honest: the updates lately have been lackluster. Bug fixes are slow, user-requested features are brushed aside, and UI decisions often feel disconnected from real-world usage. But there’s one issue I want to specifically call out — and that’s the persistent, bright white top bar in Adobe apps.In 2025, we are well into the era of OLED displays. These screens are favored for their stunning color accuracy and are increasingly common among creatives, especially those working in photography, design, and video editing. However, OLED comes with one major vulnerability: screen burn-in.This glaring white top bar that can’t be hidden or customized is a major
Hello Automation Blocks Team,I'm trying to create a custom Automation Blocks script in Premiere Pro to streamline a repetitive workflow I do for every project. Here’s what I want the script to do:Automatically create 2 offline clips inside an existing bin structure:File > Extra > Multicam Sequences. The offline clips don't need any specific name, but they should always have the same names each time (so the script can later find and select them reliably). After creating them, the script should automatically select both offline clips (which are inside the Extra > Multicam Sequences bin, not from the "Processed Clips" bin). Then, it should create a Multicam Sequence from those two offline clips, using In Point as the sync method. Finally, once the Multicam Sequence is created, it should delete the two offline clips from the bin (so they don’t clutter the project panel).I’m not familiar with JavaScript or programming, and this is my first time using Automation Blocks, so a visual guide
It would save me so much time if I could highlight all the multicams I create and change the sequence settings all together. I don't understand why you can't. It would help me if I replace footage or reconnect to a different resolution or codec which I often do. Or if I happen to want to change the resolution, pixel ratio, or whatever. Very annoying not being able to change multiple multicams at once.
Hi Adobe team,I’ve been using Adobe Audition’s generative voice feature, and to be honest, the voices sound outdated and robotic — they haven't improved in years. With the major advancements in AI voice synthesis and voice cloning technology happening everywhere else, it's frustrating that Audition still feels stuck in the past. Why hasn’t Adobe updated these voices to sound more realistic or expressive? Even better, why not allow users to do custom voice cloning like other modern tools? Is this feature being worked on at all, or has Adobe abandoned it? It feels like a missed opportunity, especially given the growing demand for AI-generated content.Would love to hear what’s planned — or at least if Adobe is open to upgrading this feature.Thanks.
The new FX badge style is less helpful than before. In older versions, FX badges changed color, making it easy to see which clips had effects. Now, with only white letters and no background color, it's harder to track effects in the timeline. Please consider bringing back colored FX badges or giving users an option to choose the style.
I already saw a lot of people requesting this in the past. I think there is a reason for that.Nowadays there is a lot of Editing Software (whether it's for Audio or Video) that have this feature built in already (DaVinci Resolve, Shotcut, Ableton Live 12, Audacity, Studio One, FL Studio etc.). There has to be a reason for that - people are enjoying that kind of workflow as it is ergonomic and logical. You grab a position in your Timeline and move it in a certain direction, just as you would move/orient something in real life. The only reason I can think of for not implementing this is patent or copyright issues with DaVinci Resolve on the part of Adobe. But if that's not the case and nothing to worry about, then why not go for it and help tons of people out by simplifying their workflow and making their software operation easier?
Please for the love of god give us this ability to hide it. I can't see the start of my waveforms most of the time.
Hi New AI analysing tool can be used to show technical segmentation.Thiws would allow to quickly identify bars, blacks, slates, logos, textless etc. It's almost doing it but search option doesn't understand techncial terms and performs "wrogn search".This coudl be sort of side option to normal search. It would be nice to have an auto markers (one with in/out) inserted into timeline after analysis and showing segments of your master. Main things are bars, perfect blacks, slate, start/end point of the programme. Extra bits are credits, text overlays. Textless elemnts are bit more diffiuclt but with comobination of positon in time in the master (so at the end) , plsu with the slince could be quite well identfied as wel. It's colse and I think possible. Maybe togheter with transcription as well to help. Next step woudl be auto detection good add break points.
Hey guys,Something very embarrassing happened, client aired Ad with 'Analyzing 1/2' Morphcut Warning Banner in the video. It was a 2 frame morphcut and I exported the same video 4x and sometimes it's in the renders and sometimes it isn't. First of all, thats my mistake, I should have been more careful. BUT. There should be a global setting which allows every video which is being exported to be free of said warning banners,They shouldn't be on final renders in the first place, what's the benefit? I'd rather have a wonky, unstablized shot as one with a big warning banner AND unstablized. This is a feature request, if there is a way to do this, please let me know. Many thanks
Hello there! Long time user of Premiere Pro. Been away from it for a couple of years and getting acclamated with the new updates, including the text to edit too (**WOW**!!). One thing that's irksome is the need to toggle the source viewer window after selecting the text range for auto setting an in/out point. It would be incredible if the user could simply click drag the text, and then use the keyboard shortcut to create a subclip instantly out of the selected text (no window toggle needed).
Is this possible? As a video editor working to complete multiple short form vids per week, it would be really helpful for my workflow. Especially for collaborating with my team + revisions.
In Premiere Pro, when you copy and paste a clip on the timeline, it effectively performs an overwrite edit based on the in point. I'd like to suggest a backtime paste command, so when you copy and paste it does an overwrite backtime edit paste instead. Much like how we have paste insert. For example I would use this alot when it comes to using lot of same sound effects over and over again on the timeline, that I can paste either based as Overwrite edit from In point but also from the Out Point as well.I know its possible to do this with Match Frame and then just do an Overwrite backtime edit but I think that takes too many actions to do and feel it would be possible for it to be implemented with a Backtime Paste as I would call it.
The removal of this feature is mind boggling to me. It's become such a hassle now to try and edit text and graphics! I know that there are ways and paths to take to get the text editing window to pop up, but the fact that there has to be these work arounds and no longer a clear, concise, simple drop down button and window for it is just two steps backwards. Please bring back the Essential Graphics editing option.
I have 9 audio tracks in my sequence. I want to move A9 up to be below A3 for example so that my sound effects order makes more sense when editing. How do I do that? There doesn't seem like there is an easy way. You would think you would be able to drag the whole lyer/track up or down.Is there a way to do that?
As a video editor, I've spent countless hours scrubbing through footage to search for specific shots. When will Adobe (Sensei) jump on the AI bandwagon and introduce auto-image recognition and tagging when new media is ingested? The new Text Based Editing has been great for spoken dialogue, but when will we be able to search for specific shots based on a description of the shot's contents? There are some companies that promise this with auto-tagging, but it seems like this would be huge for editors to access within Premiere for every project without needed to access a 3rd party digital asset manager.
Suggestion: Add Arabic Language Support to Speech to Text Feature Hello Adobe Team, I would like to suggest adding Arabic language support to the Speech to Text feature in Adobe Premiere Pro. Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, with over 400 million native speakers across the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond. By including Arabic in this powerful feature, Adobe would not only empower Arab content creators, journalists, educators, and filmmakers — but also attract a significant new user base in a highly competitive market. Supporting Arabic would:- Help creators produce more accessible content for Arabic-speaking audiences.- Streamline post-production workflows for professionals and media organizations.- Facilitate accurate translation between Arabic and other languages, which is essential for global storytelling, localization, and cross-cultural communication.- Expand Adobe’s reach in rapidly growing creative markets. In today’s
This is one of those weird old holdovers from the beginning of Premiere that doesn't make a lot of sense anymore. I remember a long time ago where a lot of the sequence settings couldn't be changed after the fact (such as resolution!) This seems to be the only option we are still locked out of which slows down some workflows. The workaround has always been that to change from a stereo sequence to a multi-channel you have to use a multi-channel seqeunce preset or create one, and then paste your sequence from an old one into the new multi-channel seqeunce. It's a strange and infelxible part of the interface that gets in the way. Request: Allow audio channel format to be changed after seqeunce created. Getting tired ot jumping through all the hoops when I just want to change to a multi-channel seqeunce from a stereo one.
Being able to color code tabs when you have multiple sequences open.
Please, we urgently need proper Arabic language support in Adobe Premiere Pro. Many Adobe users in Arab countries struggle due to the lack of Arabic support, forcing us to rely on intermediary software and pay exorbitant fees.
We need subtitles in Romanian. It's a waste of money for us to pay for another service to translate our videos. We have a lot of languages, but no Romanian has been added. Is this at least in work or something?
Dear Adobe Premiere Pro Development Team, I truly appreciate the incredible work you’ve done with the Speech to Text feature in Premiere Pro. It has made the process of creating subtitles and captions so much easier for creators worldwide.I would like to kindly request the addition of Romanian (Română) as a supported language for transcription. Romanian is spoken by over 25 million people, and having it available in Premiere Pro would be a game-changer for many content creators, editors, and professionals who rely on accurate subtitles. And not only romanian. I strongly think other video creators will be amazed if this feature consider adding their language.Your commitment to innovation and inclusivity is remarkable, and I hope Romanian can be considered for a future update. Thank you for your time and dedication to improving this already amazing tool! Best regards,Octavian
While I appreciate the improvements to H264, I came here expecting to see the 25.2 release announcement with Gen Extend 🤯. In my brief testing so far, I am blown away! I do have a feature request, let me do a Generative "Morph Cut"/"Cross Dissolve" type transition. Sometimes I have to cut out part of my introduction or training videos, leaving a less than ideal transition, even with either of the aforementioned methods, but I can totally see where Gen Extend could "merge" the two pieces of the cut clip, making it look like it was all recorded in one take, with no sections removed. Save me TONS of re-recording time to end up with flawless "one-take" videos! Branched from Welcome to Premiere Pro 25.1! Moved to Ideas board.
I use Premiere Pro regularly and often import large amounts of footage with different frame rates (FPS). To improve my workflow, I’d love to have the ability to filter (not just sort) clips in the Project panel by FPS — so I can temporarily view only the clips with a specific frame rate.I’m aware that it's possible to sort clips by frame rate, but there isn’t currently a way to filter and display only those with a certain FPS.In many cases, I import my footage already organized into different folders — which makes it harder to locate all clips with the same FPS and convert them together. As far as I know, this feature doesn’t currently exist — so I wanted to suggest it as a meaningful improvement based on my personal user experience. Thanks for considering it!
Removing MKV Format support has a negative impact on the workflow of people that work with broadcasting software like OBS. Restore MKV support. Having native support for MKVs, even if they don't edit well without generating proxies, saves me a ton of time that I'd otherwise have to spend remuxing/transcoding files.
